Dr Kaufman is absolutely one of the best me and and my family have seen - very happy with the service and the eye correction he found. Milton is the best at helping you find glasses and the best lenses for your situation - both my kids love their glasses and I love mine too. What a great place. The staff is great!

The lady’s up front are very nice. I came in with kind of a sour mood (more less because of the awful morning I was having) completely forgetting that my appointment was 10 minutes earlier than what I showed up, and even though I was late, they tried to squeeze me in, and got me an appointment the following day. I really appreciated how kind they were, and they’re were also being really safe and sanitary!

This place is the most incompetent eyecare provider in So Florida.... On 12/18/2019 I had an eye exam and ordered two pair of prescription glasses. I was assured that my glasses would be available in 10 business days. After more than 10 business days I received one pair but not the second pair. I was promised call backs several times but did not receive them. I was lied to continually. Despite assurances that my order was being expedited, as of 1/22/2020 I still do not have the second pair of glasses. I was charged for these glasses well over a month ago.Do not do business with this incompetent place!!!David N

I can testify that Kaufman Eyecare Center is the best and they absolutely deserve your business. My insight is first-hand, in spite of the fact that Ive never had my eyes examined there, nor have I ever made a purchase from them. So, with this being the case, how can my review be taken seriously? Read on...Mine is an unusual and different perspective offering a peek into the offices professionalism and integrity--a perspective that one rarely has privy to unless they are behind the scenes. This review is written not as a patient, but as a seasoned optical wholesaler who has called on hundreds of optometrists, opticians, and ophthalmologists since 1986. And, I can tell you which ones are worthy of your hard earned dollars and which are not.Naturally, it goes without saying that a doctors office treats its patients with utmost kindness and respect, because, lets face it, as their patient you are their bread and butter. But if one wants to discover the underlying core beliefs of an office, just ask their sales rep. How the staff treats a sales representative when he or she is out of the earshot of a paying customer can be very telling.This office--from day one--when I walked in the door was kind, friendly, welcoming--even though they had no need for my product at the time. They treated me, a total stranger, as warmly as they would their patient. And, I can assure you that this is not always the case!The point I am trying to make is that one can tell a lot about the character and decency of Dr. Kaufman (who, by the way, Ive never spoken to, nor have I met) because it is he who basically sets the tone for his staff. Dr Kaufman never rushes through your exam and listens to what you have to say.The staff have been there a long time and are very knowledgeable and friendly. Maryanna, one of the Opticians is amazing.There is a HUGE selection of frames from simple to top designer. They never make you feel pressured to buy anything. Cant hold appointments, cant take prescriptions, cant save records, nobody know what thwy are doing, spend very long times on hold. Just some of wha to expect from them. I recomend you go somewhere else.

Love Dr. Kaufman. He is professional, thorough and has the most up-to-date equipment. His lenses are not Chinese crappy lenses. Made in the USA!!!! My husband, a retired optometrist, developed “floaters”” Thursday at 5 pm. We had a 8 am flight to group North for a birthday celebration. We knew someone had to look at his eye to determine if was a retina detachment. We called around and no one could see him immediately. However, when we called Dr Kaufman’s office at 6 pm they told us to come right over. We were greeted warmly and he saw the doctor almost immediately. Thankfully, there was no detachment and he was cleared to fly. We would definitely recommend Dr kaufman and we will use him again the future.

Simply the BEST! I got an appointment the same day and was so pleased with Dr. Kaufman and his staff. He spent over an hour with me checking everything and making sure the health of my eyes was perfect. He has state of the art equipment and knows how to use it. After receiving my eyeglasses I immediately noticed a marked improvement in my vision...so much so that I wondered how accurate previous prescriptions where! I could now read street signs with little strain and I cant remember how long its been since my distance has been so clear. During my examination Dr. Kaufman explained that this prescription will address a stigmatism that would improve my over all sight. Ive been seeing Dr. Kaufman for well over 10 years and he is professional, very experienced in his field, rarely ever have a long wait in his office, always pursuing the latest technology for proper eye care, recommended me for laser surgery and couldnt have turned out better (his post operative care), and the entire staff at his office is wonderful! My husband also sees Dr. Kaufman (about 4 yrs now) and he is very pleased too. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaufman!

Dr. Kaufmans attention to detail, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and thorough knowledge of all diseases of the eye (macular degeneration, glaucoma, etc.) is exceptional. Dr. Kaufman maintains a permanent record for the patients annual visits, and includes images/scans of the eyes, noting any changes and discussing them with the patient. Our family has been receiving his expert care for 30 years.

I found Dr. Kaufman to be very professional, using the latest equipment to conduct a very thorough eye exam. He took his time with me, explained everything in great detail, and answered all my questions.He found I had moderate cataracts, not necessarily requiring immediate surgery. I wasnt sure whether to proceed, so he suggested I visit en eye surgeon who he highly recommended if I went forward with cataract surgery. I saw the surgeon, decided to proceed with the surgery, and all went well. In fact, I saw the surgeons associate today, and he said my results were exceptionally good. Although I opted not to get the multifocal lens, which corrects ones vision, I no longer need prescription eyeglasses for distance and only magnifying glasses for reading.thank you, Dr. Kaufman.

Dr. Kaufman and his staff are the best! Personable, knowledgable, respectful and kind. Although I moved away from Florida a number of years ago, I always schedule my eye exams with Dr. Kaufman, when I am in Florida, visiting family. Unfortunately, I had tried a couple of other eye Doctors, but neither made the grade. Their place of business was messy and nowhere near as high tech as Dr, Kaufman. The Optician, Ms.Maryanna always knows the latest styles and helps me select the correct style frame for my face. I get so many compliments when I get home with my new glasses! Dr. Kaufman is a very rude and disrespectful person. He talks to you like youre dumb, he raises his voice at you and he has very little patience. His staff are nice and kind but he is not. He also belittles you and makes you feel disrespected. What type of a person who runs a business that it is to assist you with your vision, yet treats his paying patients with no respect at all. What did I ever do to you to make me feel angry and belittled every time I leave your office after a visit? Well no more, Im never going to this Doctor again and Im telling my Dad to set me up with another Doctor. Also, hes a conniving hustler. He tries to push things on you that you dont need and tries to make you buy things that the insurance doesnt cover just to make extra money.

Appt. was for 4:20, I show up ~10 minutes prior to fill out any necessary paperwork. I begin filling out paperwork at approximately 4:35. I am not seen by anyone until 4:55pm, at which point Im told that it will take an additional 40+ minutes to complete the appointment, so I left. If the appointment is at 4:20, I should be seen no later than 4:30 unless theres a massive amount of paperwork. I will go somewhere else.

Dr. Kaufman is knowledgable, patient, friendly and thorough. His staff are wonderful.I would not trust my eyesight to anyone else!

Kaufman eyecare center is an excellent place to go and have an eye exam. not only is the staff a great group of people, but dr kaufman has a fantastic state of the art equipment right there in the office. not only that but the good doctor is so knowledgeable about diseases and treatments for your eyes. from the start of the exam right through to the end, as a patient you are very well informed. my family enjoys going to the eye center. we always feel right at home. they have an incredible warm way of just making you feel welcomed.

If you have gone to other eye specialists without sucess, you must use Dr. Kauffman. For the first time in over 10 years I can actually read the fine print on documents and the tiny serial numbers on electronics. Over the years I have tried some of the big box eye retailers and some of the small specialty shops. No matter how much money I spent (or did not spend), those other firms could not get me seeing again. After my visit with Dr. Kaufmann and his staff I was able to see so much clearly that from a standing position, I was able to identify a small staple within the fibers of their office carpet, and that was only the beginning of my relationship with my new eyes. I can now clearly see the expression on peoples faces. I can drive and see the road, my dashboard and my smartphone screen clearly all with one pair of glasses! I am truly a new man and a believer in the professional optics, computerized imageing and the professional know how within Dr. Kaufmans office. Call him today. You will be very very very glad you did.

Gave them all my medical info and could not figure it out . Went back the same day with all paper work and they never called me back . Not sure about South Florida work habits.
