Everyone there was so nice. They have so many eye glasses toChose from plus at great prices too. I can’t believe I will be getting 2 pairs on the same day I went. This is definitely the place to go to. My eye exam was great too. It truly made my day good.
JUDY was awesome! She is very helpful and has such amazing patience, that is so necessary when picking out new frames. Especially with all the lovely options this location has to pick from. I had a great time with Judy’s assistance. Need MORE of her! Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the lady at check in, but she was very sweet and informative to me about my benefits and options. Pleasant staff, keep it up!
I had a few bad experiences as a new customer one year ago at the Wellington location and began shopping for new providers several months ago until I met Stephen Johnson, Lab Manager, at the Boynton Beach location. He has helped me immeasurably. He excels in professionalism, customer service, and knowledge--with the ability to communicate it effectively. Bruce is excellent as always. The whole team is very attentive. I broke my glasses late last night and had to come in this morning before work. They gave me a new prescription and glasses within a few hours. Fit me right into their schedule. Love this location!

I went to get new glasses and a new prescription. Gretchen helped me with my prescription, I loved her personality and she was very good at her job! She deserves a raise!!!
Front desk lady at the optometrist office was extremely rude, told us to leave because the store waiting room reached “maximum capacity” when we were the very first ones in the store and had an APPOINTMENT. People with walk in’s were occupying the remaining space. Even when we were the only customers in the store, she had an attitude with my father for asking her simple questions. Just a tip: if you work in customer service, you need to know how to deal with people and put a smile on your face and be friendly. It’s not hard.
This was a re-make exam and glasses for me. I got my first pair of glasses and prescription sun-glasses a couple of weeks before this and I just couldnt use them. I made an appointment with Dr.Cortes and she examined me again and thoroughly explained what might be the problem. I walked to the Lens Crafters store and Steven the manager took care of everything in the most professional matter. Didnt cost me a dime, everything was covered by their 100% satisfaction guarantee which they really honor. I used to be a Lens Crafters customer years ago and then I switched to less expensive stores and but now Im back for good! Good old capitalist customer care you cant find anywhere else but at Lens Crafters!
Dr. Stephanie Cortes was excellent actually the best I have ever had and I have been to a lot of eye exams! Professional, knowledgeable and an outstanding bedside manner. Her technician Francesca was amazing, she eased my nerves and made me feel so comfortable. The store manager Dave was so attentive and not only helped me pick out great frames, I told him about the issues I was having with my multifocal lenses and he suggested I ask the Dr about mono lenses and my world has changed so much for the better with the new lenses. I am so thankful to him for his help and wise advise. Orphelia helped with my glasses fitting and cleaned and tightened the glasses I was wearing, it was white glove service. I would recommend this location to anyone that is looking for a great Eye Dr and an amazing retail store in one!

Had an appointment for myself & my daughter beginning at 11 am. We sat in the lobby for 30 mins without any acknowledgement. Upon walking I we were not greeted. As we sat in the eye exam area, someone did shout out they would be with us but never reappeared. The Doctor kept walking back & forth, without acknowledging us as well. Then came from the back to grab another patient that was there after we have been sitting there. This isn’t my first time at this office & I’m extremely disappointed in the service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Honestly if I could have posted a negative-star review I would have. The Doctors of Optometry are great! The LensCrafters side is terrible! They repeatedly mess up on frame and eyeglass orders. Always have to wait at least a month before receiving eyeglasses due to their blunders. Absolutely poor service and then to not attempt compensation(the minimal amount) until a larger series of complaints have been made is absolutely absurd. For this specific visit the order that was placed was dispensed to another person. After the employees blundered around looking everywhere for the order they realized that the order was no longer at the store and had been given(dispensed) to someone else. I believe it was actually one of the managers who even stated that they did not have an answer as to where the eyeglasses were.Then the fact that they now had to scramble to find a new pair because they could no longer order them was a whole other issue. So now just as usual, I have to wait another month due to employee errors.. Again the Doctors of Optometry are absolutely great!But DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME in dealing with the unsatisfactory service from this location when in need of eyeglasses or frames.
Went to get my eyes checked was told by the staff (over the phone) that my insurance was accepted. When I got there I was told my copay would be $91. I paid it because I was already there and trusted the staff.Just got off the phone with my insurance and they told me nothing was ran through their system. They said I was lied to by staff and it appears I was charged as a private pay client as they consider LensCrafters out of network.Also, another appointment was taken while my eyes dilated and I waited around for 40+ minutes because of poor time management. Through the doctor apologized I was very disoriented and didnt want to argue. Just a bad experience as a 8+ year customer with LenCrafters Ill be going elsewhere permanently regardless of my insurance.
Mr. Steve is extremely courteous and very professional he draws you back as a customer. He builds such trust with you as a customer until you dont question the direction of the amount you spend in the store. Thanks for having such a competent and confident person on your staff.
I went there last year and spent over $1,200 for 2 pair of glasses. + the eye exam. I brought my granddaughter there this morning for her first pair of glasses. I explained to the sales person that I wanted an inexpensive pair because she was younger and would probably break or lose them and that once she got used to wearing glasses I would come back and get her a designer pair. The sales person was just trying to upsell $360 + tax for a cheap pair of glasses!I walked out thinking all they are just a bunch of slick salesman. I went to America’s Best and the customer service associate Alexis was awesome. I got 2 pair with one tinted for $117.00 with a warranty. Much better quality then Lens Crafters.

Unfortunately I am upset to write this review as I have been a PT of LensCrafters for awhile. I called my care credit company and they let me know that the lenscrafter in boynton accepts care credit. I also called the boynton beach office 24 hours prior to the appointment where the gentleman over the phone said I could use the care credit for my eye exam. I arrived to my appointment today and the front desk people said I could not use my care credit as payment. I let them know that it’s unfortunate that TWO different people confirmed they do and they should let the care credit company know that they do NOT except care credit. Drove 45 minutes out of my way to go to this office to get my appointment done ASAP. But will not be returning to this office or another LensCrafterss.
Customer service does not get any better. The assistant manager whose name I cannot remember gave no hesitation when I requested a refund after a misunderstanding about the prescription which was not their fault or mine. I bought glasses there when it was optiworld. By doing this they are getting customers to come back. Thanks, honest company.

Sent in my frames so my lenses could be replaced and the frames were returned to me damaged. When I asked about the damage, they blamed it on me. Ive been going to Lenscrafters for more than a decade but this was my first experience with this location. Never again.
The doctor and staff were great.
I bought glasses from them, paying a premium for their service. I come back less than two months afterwards with a smug on the them and they say I need to buy new lenses. Manager refused to do anything to assist, saying I should have bought the protection plan. Totally bad customer service. Do not go to this place and spend your money here. Terrible company!!!!!

Dr. Cohen is an amazing practitioner. He spent almost 3 hours with me and the end result, I am able to see better than I ever have in my life. Im seriously sitting outside seeing details that I have not been able to see and its incredible. His staff was so nice and attentive, they made me feel right at home.As for lenscrafters, I got a pair of glasses from them 2 weeks ago, but was not happy about a couple of things. After my visit with Dr. Cohen, they offered to change the frames, (which I declined because I love them) upgraded the lenses (which I paid the difference for, only fair) and will be using my brand new prescription written today! That is integrity...It was a little more than I am used to paying, but it was definitely worth it as Im sitting here seeing individual rain drops falling and I appreciate each person that I interacted with today. I dont usually post this kind of stuff, but I believe that they deserve some recognition.
Called to make an appointment. Pressed a button to be connected to sales. That sent me back to the menu. Tried again, same.Pressed the button for appointments and a woman picked up right away. I asked if they had appointments today and if not how far out did they schedule. She answered 4:45. That wasnt what I asked so I tried a different way -- if I wanted an appointment, how many days would I have to wait to get it?It took 5+ minutes to tell me when the next appointment was. Unlike the last 2 eye doctors, this one wanted a lot of personal info over the phone before they would make an appointment. Wasnt enough for a name, phone number and DOB, she wanted more. I asked why she needed all this for just an appointment and she claimed it was because they may need to reimburse me. For what? Im a new patient and Im not using insurance -- but she never even asked about insurance!She also didnt understand why I would ask if they had a more detailed eye exam even though I told her I had a prior eye injury. She said she would mention it to the doctor.Im not starting a business relationship like this.
Overcharged, tried to scam me. Was told an upgrade would cost $135, got to the store they tried charging me $210 and when I demanded my money back all of the sudden the upgrade only cost $40??? Three weeks, three visits, left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied. This to replace my last Lenscrafter glasses that CRACKED after 2 years. Never again.
Best considerate LensCrafters doctor Ive been to. The doctor at this location is meticulous, patient, and polite. And he knows his stuff.
If I could rate 0 stars I would have. Ive been going here for 10 years and they act like Ive never been here before. And appointments mean nothing except when youre supposed to show up. On top of that they go through staff faster than mcdonalds. So much for professional.
I went in today needing my glasses repaired cause I slipped and fell down. Not only did they repair my glasses in 15mins, I received no charge. Thanks again Lens Crafters👍👍👍
When my trusted eye doctor died, I didnt know where to go for new hard lenses. My contacts are a special type and not every eye clinic can fit them. Dr. Cohen patiently and with concern, made certain that my lenses were right for me. Yes, the office is a bit thread-bare, but do yourself a favor and look beyond (Oops -pun) the room and get yourself an appointment with a real pro - Dr. Howell Cohen........
In my opinion, Lenscrafter, as a whole, is in the business of hard-selling frames. Asking to put lenses in an old frame is met with major resistance and, the pricing for lenses only is unfair. I was told by a very rude employee, who was not attending to my needs, that this is the way the Corporation does business. Total nonsense!
This doctors office is atrocious. Having an appointment means absolutely nothing. They will take any walk in that comes before you and make you wait, no matter how long. Also, they are no way associated with lens crafters. I will never come back to this eye doctor. I am contemplating walking out right now as I sit here in their waiting room with the other cattle.

Takes forever. Overbooked eye exams. Dr. Is nice but the place is dirty and disorganized. Trash on the chairs and no one can be bothered to clean up. Go somewhere else.
The Doctor himself gets a 5 out if 5 stars but one lady on his staff, I think her name is Jane, brings the rating down to BELOW A ONE and is the reason why I will never go back to this office. I was waiting to be seen for my appointment for a while and had a question specifically for the doctor so was waiting to speak with him when she rudely intervened (preventing me from talking to him). She accused me of being a liar to which I proved her wrong and she didnt even say sorry. I had to tell her my background story 3 times before she even understood and when she finally did she didnt even take any of the blame for the issue when it was clear it was her or another staff members fault (again accusing me of lying despite evidence). I drove all the way from west palm to see the doctor, in the rain, and rather than let me do this, his staff was rude, rigid, & unhelpful and just cost him a patient (as well as those I referred to his office). A simple apology/ conversation with the doctor that I was entitled (prescedualed appt. months in advance) could have fixed this but I wasnt given either. Save yourself the stress & go somewhere else.
