I love this shop and the guys that run it! They are always super friendly and helpful and take care of a long list of comics Im subscribed to. They are why I go to the shop instead of ordering my comics online. Thanks guys!!!

I can literally not say enough good things about how amazing this store is. Everyone is super kind, helpful, and really knows a lot about comics. Incredibly kid friendly. Buffalo is lucky to have so many great local comic book shops, and this one is a gem.

Suprised at the positive reviews. I took my teenage daughter there on her birthday and didnt even get greeted at the door with a hello. The store clerk just continued his conversation with a customer. Never once regarded us. He said Hello and engaged in conversation with every other person that walked in the place. There was a point we were the only people in the store and never made eye contact. Very bizarre. When we cashed out his friendly tone to everyone else turned very mechanical and clinical to us. My daughter said she never wants to go in again. I wholeheartedly agree. Not sure what the clerk didnt like about us.

I am more than pleased with this location. The staff are very knowledgeable and will try to help you find what you are looking for. All you have to do is ask. I bought about 5 comics from them and plan on buying more.

Great place to find books to finish out runs. Everything is very well organized and easy to find. The owner and staff are great to work with and are very enthusiastic about collecting.

Nice selection. No deals as fair as buying more. However some other cheaper books very reasonably priced. I will be back!

I absolve this shop! This is one of the best comic book stores in Buffalo. The staff is super knowledgeable about neat comics. They sometimes go above & beyond with helping get things I want & making ny experience that much better. I look forward to stopping by weekly. Its great to be greeted like someone more then a customer. They make it feel like a second home.

This place has a ton of options! I guarantee youll be able to find something for anyone. Theres a good selection of novels for kids, manga, graphic novels, and boxes and boxes full of cmic books! In addition theres DVDs of older movies, pins, and figures. I personally loved seeing flags supporting LGBT. They also had a few LGBT graphic novels. Had a great time browsing and came out with more than I should have. The man working was very friendly as well. Will definitely return.

Gutter Pop is a great new spot on Hertle ave! They have so many comics and manga to choose from. They have graphic novels for all ages as well. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well. I will definitely be going back soon.

This was the first time I went into the store. I would have to say I was blown away! It’s such a great layout and the staff if so helpful. They gave great suggestions and really knew their stuff. I’m 100% going back there soon!

Large selection, from manga to weekly floppies to graphic novels, plus posters and pins and other fun items and gifts. Good amount of books for children and younger readers, not just super hero stuff (though they have that too). Don’t be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations

I love this store. Stephen is great, very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is very clean and organized. And if they dont have it on hand they will gladly order it for if possible.

Very rude I ordered a comic on eBay then after looking at the pictures again I decided it wasn’t a good deal so I cancelled my order after 5 seconds, I also apologized and he proceeds to tell me I should have looked better at the pictures man and I tell him I’m a female buying for my fiancée and he still continues to call me a man. This is not how you run a business. So glad I cancelled my order, this guy is so unprofessional.

Gutter Pop is an outstanding store full of both comic classics as well as a ton of indie and zine content. Its an absolute must if your looking for something new to read, something old to dive back into, or something unique to broaden your comic experiences. This store is everything I want in a comic shop and Im extremely glad theyve been holding it down.

This is one of the best comic shops I’ve ever been to. The shop owner is fantastic and makes wonderful recommendations. This shop is very welcoming and you don’t feel judged when you come in compared to some other gatekeeping shops. Gutter pop specializes in indie comics, although they do have a selection of your regular DC and Marvel comics. There is something here for everyone and we bring all our out of town guests here (:

Excellent, unique small shop with a broad selection of everything including mainstream comics, zines, local comics, hard to find comics, indies, graphic novels, big selection of young adult, some back issues and even records! The owner is kind and generous, its on the Elmwood strip (which fits in perfectly) and the only thing that is missing is size. Wanted to hit 3 stars but I mistakenly gave it a 5 :-). Highly recommended.

Cute little comic shop. Not huge but a great selection and friendly staff/owner. They also sell some local artist wares and thats pretty cool. We came for free comic book day and bought a few comics and pins.

This shop is great - its full of a large variety of comics and graphic novels, as well as a great front display of sweet enamel pins and patches. The inventory is varied and appeals to any type of reader, and the owner is willing to order anything you cant find there. They will even look at comics you own for consignment or purchase. My husband recently sold them his huge collection of old comics from his childhood - and this shop was the most honest place we found to sell to, and they had great communication during the process. The shop is a good size as well, and isnt overwhelming. They keep good hours, and are open pretty late.

Gutter Pop Comics is one of the best comic stores that exist. Its selection of both mainstream and independently published art is amazing, and you will be able to find something for anyone there. It also has a really dope music section. Must see place. The owner Stephen is an absolute gem as well.

The atmosphere of the store is welcoming and they play great music, too. The variety of enamel pins is also fantastic. If youre in Buffalo and looking for newly released comics, graphic novels, zines, posters, and more, this is the place for you.

On my first visit to this comics shop, I was in search of a specific type of comic. Without going into too much detail for personal reasons, this was a tall order. The staff was very helpful and kind. They made a lot of great suggestions, and were very sympathetic to my request. Thank you for the excellent customer service and for your kindness and generosity. There is a young comic book reader who will be delighted and hopefully uplifted to read his new Spiderman comic.

Wide variety of comics, choice records and other cool stuff...knowledgeable fella behind the counter. One of Elmwoods treasures in a sea of garbage. Even if youre not a comic freak, you need to check it out. Stat!

Gutter Pop Comics is one of the most inviting comic shops I have ever entered. The owner and his staff are friendly from the moment you enter the door. I am by no means a serious collector, and dont have time to stay up on the latest new releases. So it is great to be able to go in, ask for recommendations, and know that I am being steered in the right direction.

Nice little shop. They have newly released comic-books and newer editions of classics. They pretty much carry comic-books that you can get on Amazon or other stores. They dont have vintage comics.

This local comic shop specializes in alternative and indie comics which drastically sets it apart from pretty much every other comic store ive visted. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and will gladly give you suggestions as to good comics and books to pick. Such a large variety of indie comics, clasic marvel and dc, manga, childrens books and more. Seriously if you can only check out one comic shop while youre here, definitely hit this one up, you will not be disappointed

Im in contact with Steve, one of the employees here, and he texts me when the next issue of any of my series comes in, he puts them aside for me, and even has double copies when theres an alternative cover, just in case I want to pick the cover I want. Theyve got a lot of selection, too, from Marvel to DC to anime. Even the Rick and Morty comic line is here. Def check it out.
