Very friendly and convenient.. but you pay for it.

This City Market is the bomb. What they lack in size they more than make up for in heart. When was the last time you had someone take your groceries to your car? They do it here without you asking. Prices are competitive and they offer Veterans discounts on Mondays and over 65 discounts on Thursdays. I promise you will never find more friendly folks in ANY of the big box stores. Lets do our part and support this smaller neighborhood store. You wont regret it !

I love coming here. Just moved to this side of Burleson and fell in love with it. It carries a lot of products, but it also carries a lot of when the grandkids come over . So your juice selection is prune juice, cranberry juice, and apple juice. Its like that with a lot of kid products.Also, it smells like mothballs. But I do love it here lol.

They work hard so you dont have to. If youre looking for something you cant find in the store, just ask an associate!!! Theyll either locate it for you, or put in an order so it comes in later! Great place, had never been but based on their concern for their customers we decided to check it out. It was very nice a little understocked as every place at this moment. But the fact that they were communicating with their customers to let us know what was available and when I thought was highly commendable. They have gained our business! Shop Local.

Well, I dont want to give a small town secret away, but Ive finally decided its not fair to City Market in Burleson, Texas, to keep it underwraps. City Market is one of those jewels, that as youre traveling through town, you wish you lived here. I love their slightly gourmet-type choice of groceries. They also have a collection of gift items to choose from that I cant pass by without sticking something in my basket. I love their choices so much I do some Christmas shopping there. Their prices are very competitive on the gift-type items, but are slightly more expensive with their groceries. I dont mind paying a little extra because it is worth it for the cleanliness, the perfectly placed items on the shelves, the friendliest workers, the quiet, wide aisles.

This is an excellent grocery store. It has everything you could need from a big box grocery store, plus offerings from locally owned small businesses. They have great specials, especially from the meat department. They also have an excellent selection of Texas wine and craft beer. The service is always friendly and helpful and they take good care of their community.

This is my go to grocery store, especially for curbside. As a mom of 4 during a pandemic having a place that I can get what I need quickly and easily is such a sanity saver. And I love that it is a sweet local store. They have such a friendly, helpful staff as well.

Burleson is fortunate to have a locally-owned grocery store as great as City Market. The store is well-stocked, always clean, and has the friendliest staff. At the beginning of the pandemic when other stores were low on stock, I was able to find everything I needed at City Market. I appreciate how much City Market does for our community.

Today was my first time visit to this grocery store but will not be my last. Had to run to the post office so thought I would buzz in here real quick and see if I could find what I couldnt get on my grocery list at the big box grocer earlier. Although just a few items, they had them all and this place was clean, well stocked and prices seemed competitive and everyone was helpful.

Great store, very clean and workers are friendly. Not as vast a selection as China-mart(Walmart) but most items are local and American made. I will support the smaller stores and never grace the doors of American destroying Walmart or Sams.

The friendliest staff in the world! You can’t go 20 feet without running into an employee. The produce and meat department are some of the best in Burleson. The managers will bend over backward to be fair. Moe is so personable and professional, you would think he owns the place! But! The owner is just as wonderful! The best thing ever is the deals they have in the “treasure chests.” You can find the coolest specials that cannot be beaten. Stuff that would usually cost $4+ can be found for $1. Personally, I find about 1-2 items in the “treasure chests” per visit. If you only go for one thing, at least check these out. You will get addicted. They also have gourmet cupcakes brought in from another place that are delicious. There are also a bunch of items that they make in house. I just tried their strawberry pie, and it was great! If this is any indication of the rest of the pies, I’m going to try them all. Also, the pre-made meals are great for a night you don’t want to cook. And! They make tamales! The brisket tamales are quite possibly the best tamales I have eaten. Slap some Valentina’s on them and enjoy! They have a great selection in beer, and I hope they expand it! A last little cool thing is the quaint selection of arts and crafts.If you support local businesses and believe in community, this is a business that you cannot pass up.

We love this place! They have more organic produce than anyone and even though we really dont eat meat very often, the quality of the beef here is MUCH better than any of the big chains. They are locally owned and the service here is second to none.

I had to give this place a 2 simply because of price and not carrying enough of a variety. Its an old style store that has not much to choose from, the prices were almost double on most items I needed. I only stopped to avoid the crowds at nu usual store, but now see why it was virtually empty. I wouldnt recommend it unless your in a real pinch time wise.

Loved the hometown feel! Clean, well organized & plenty of choices. You can also find local products there such as fried pies from Itasca family, Miller. The store also carries its own fresh baked goodies. Just a great grocery store. If I lived there, Id only shop there. 👍

The Best Store and Friendly Employees.

I love this market. they have really fantastic products and prices, as well as a free ice cream cone every time I go there. their employees are extremely nice, personable and willing to help. its that willingness to help others that impresses me the most about people and makes me love them. Kindness Counts is painted on their building and I am impressed with. please visit them and you will believe my words.

So far the only location in Burleson that Ive been able to find any ground beef. Every other store seems to be decimated due to panic purchasing and hoarding so it is definitely worth swinging by here if you need meat. They were out of toilet paper and paper towels when I stopped by at about 3pm today March 19.
