Used my credit card in the wig store as I usually do. I show my ID all the time. Asian employee (Shin) today had me take my credit card out the machine, to show her my name on ID matched the back of my credit card. Black people spend more money in their establishments than anyone. We all are not criminals. Shin, Im 64, and have worked over 30 years!

There is a helpful young staff member that will spend the time to insure you are satisfied with your purchase. Large clean store.

It is a good place to get your hair care products and it is roomy. You do not feel.like you will knock things off the shelves when you w alk down the aisles.

The attitudes in this place are horrible! I went down the street to another beauty supply who prices were a little higher but I was treated nicely. The women need better customer service training. Especially the light skin lady at the register and the young lady with the faux locs.

Huge store with a variety of hair products, wigs, hair, dryers, hot combes, curling irons, rollers, hair pins bonnets, scarves, tights, panthose, on and on. You can spend a good hour before you know it. Nice!

They always have the hair youre looking for or youll find something better that you didnt even kno u wanted. Definitely one of the largest wig/ weave selections on the southside. My only complaint is that you are no longer allowed to try on wigs bcuz of covid19

I go simply for the vast selection and theyre always fully staffed. They tend to have good deals, store is always neat and well organized and parking is plentiful.

Sunday 3/28 I couldnt exchange 3 unopened boxes of hair dye that I bought this past Saturday 3/37 with the receipt because got the wrong color. I can see if it was makeup, a wig, or maybe clothes. The cashier said its on the bottom of your receipt everything is final due to COVID and thats the only way we can stay in business Really? ..how about thats how you all been wanting to do business before COVID and you are using the pandemic as an excuse.They could have easy put that to the side wiped off with some disinfectant and put back on the shelf the next day if they were really about customer satisfaction..

I love this place. Its massiiiiive!! They have so many things you can buy. I mostly came here to get some oils to make a DIY vitamin c serum and they had everything I was looking for at wonderful prices too!

The young ladies are always friendly and helpful. Love how knowledgeable they are. One thing lady even held all my items while I shopped with my 4 year old twins and stood in line with me so I could focus on the girls. Wonderful! Turns out she was also a twin so she totally understood.

I use to love this place, but since Covid you have changed terribly. Your wigs is why I come to you. But my last 2 visit were not good. I had to throw away wigs because the cut of the wigs are horrible, no fixing them at all. One wig DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH HAIR, you can see right through it. $100 down the drain.

I got all the products I needed to start my friends locs. They are big and carry a lot of different products including a large section just for natural and locked hair. There is a large selection of wigs and weave hair. They carry some other beauty items like cheap makeup and a few clothing pieces. Just like any other beauty supply store but much bigger

Oh well, my children of mother wanted stopped by place to shop there. She bought 2 biggest baggage of stuff. Nice out shopping. Price is not bad.

So this is like one of the biggest beauty supply stores Ive been to in/near northwest Indiana and I loved it. The variety is vast and organized and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be a a frequent shopper.

I had to return an item that indicated on the receipt you have 14 days to return they told me nothing in the store can be returned because of Covid, if that’s the case nothing in the stores should be sold, the store is not sterile, nobody wears gloves, and most items on the shelf been there for a while. They are taking advantage of the Covid crisis and their Loyal customers which consist mainly of African-Americans to increase their sales by not recognizing some items may need to be returned. I think they should be ashamed of themselves and if they keep this up nobody should shop there anymore. Let’s start opening businesses that will never go out of style For Ourselves!!!!!

But the wig department managers are bit aggressive unnecessarily. 87th Beauty Supply, the old Best Buy has rules that everyone follows and were not harrassed during our stay. Be nicer and we can rank you guys higher..Stop being rude to loyal customers..... for the wig department only.

Hadnt been here in a while since I moved. I visited today to a whole new set of wigs and a slight readjustment of the setup. I was pleasantly surprised! Found a really nice wig at a great price! I can always count on them for a sale!

Mistake, this place has no business in our neighborhoods. First off you cant get a refund on anything and maybe a store credit on very little. Please do not ask to use the restroom as you are entitled as a paying customer. Its OK for us to spend our green in this store, but you have little rights, perks or privileges because you are black. In my experience to purchase a wig, you really must try it on for a variety of reasons, in here you cant supposedly because of covid 19. So if you you cant try it on and get home and it does not fit, then you are SOL because you cant bring it back. I am so angry 😠 at how we get treated.

They have a nice selection, but a lot of their wigs are overpriced -sometimes overpriced by $50 or more as I see the same exact wigs for less online. I only go there when I need something right then and there.

The store attendent was so nice and patient with me and my sister while we were picking out wigs. She took her time and showed us many styles.

Most things are priced good and the girls that work here are always helpful. Lots of variety too! The only problem is some of the wig prices are double what they are online. There was a wig here priced at 98.99 I really liked and it 48.99 with a $5 shipping fee. And its always like this here for most of the last 4 rows of wigs plus ones behind the mirror and counter space.

When I visit from NY/NJ, usually 1x a year I make sure to get over here to buy a couple of wigs before leaving Chicago. I do not think I have come across another beauty supply store, but more importantly a wig/hair supplier with so much to choose from. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, but then at that point Ive already made up my mine to purchase at least 3 wigs. Also the staff is really helpful in comparison to many other beauty supply stores. Love this place and will be back in a couple of weeks to stock up!!!!
