I have no idea why there are any negative reviews at all of this store. In the past I have always gone to a Verizon Direct Corporate store and did my research for a solid week on Verizon plans and the IPhone 12 & 12 Plus.I was long overdue for an upgrade and as a business owner/entrepreneur I wanted to fully understand the difference in accounts as I need a premium Unlimited plan and spent time with Verizon phone support as well as had an appointment with the Westlake Verizon Direct store.I was disappointed they scheduled me on a day their business representative was off. I put the details into the sign up so if they take customer service seriously they should have a way to review those notes in advance (especially during COVID) and maximize customer time.If you are a business owner interested in the difference from a personal account, the two are completely separate departments so do your homework before going in.This retail store is right by my house and feeling somewhat exasperated and still uncertain like something was missing, I decided to go in.Right from the start I was welcomed and by this time I was close to a decision and they were so good about helping answer all questions. I also got the exact phone and color choice nobody else seemed to have available even by order. Right away Daisy assured me she could order my color and it would be in two days and it was!I witnessed their care for each guest including a woman with special needs. Rosie went above and beyond to find her a phone she could use right now for her immediate needs.I will go in here anytime.Thank you Go Wireless Camarillo.
I just need to send out Kudos to Kirk who is a lead salesperson for the Camarillo Verizon store. I went in to buy an Apple SE so that I could link it with my Apple desktop. Since Im 81 and dont understand how things work in the Tech world, i was not an Easy customer to deal with. Kirk continued to accomplish all tasks that enabled me to change a password with AOL Etc ETC.ETC. So again I want to give Kudos to Kirk for helping me through this transition from Flip phone to and Apple Smart Phone. Thanks Verizon !

I would give 0 stars if it would let me.My wife and I went in to get new cell phones and Add a line for work. We were indecisive Apple or Samsung the sales guy Kirk tells us that Samsung has a special buy one get one free on a note 20 ultra we say great will take two black ones and while we’re here we might as well get a tablet.Kirk says great after about 30 minutes he says we had to order the phones they don’t have them here in stock I will call you when they are here to come in.Great five days later he lets us know that the tablet is it six days later let’s us know that the phones are in we go to the store wait in line after 45 minutes to get in and then another 30 minutes inside picked out the phone numbers and do the things that we need to do but at the very last second he saysoh we can’t honor the same deal it will be a lot more money.That is an exact definition of bait and switch is!!!stay away from this store nothing but scam artist..

This store is for sales only, they cannot and will not help anyone with anything besides selling them new expensive items, regardless if the customer needs it or not. Go to the store by Target if you need anything besides to buy new expensive electronics.

What a wonderful experience I had yesterday with my local Go Wireless Verizon store. I purchased two phones from a Big Box store. To transfer data from the older phones to the new phones I needed to go to a local store. The local store was so patient and detailed to my amazement. The exceptional customer service was amazing. In every step Paige explained in detail as to what she was doing during the transfer. So appreciative I am.In addition there was an irate client being helped by Paiges coworker, Austin. No matter what Austin did to help, the client wanted a higher management person. Austin worked with the client until the issued was resolved. Higher management was not needed. Austin was composed and very sincere as he was being berated by the client. while tending to the needs of the client.What a team at my local Go Wireless Verizon store.Thank you Paige and Austin for your professionalism and exceptional customer service.
I purchased a new Apple iphone at this Verizon store.The female employee who was our clerk said she would transfer all my data from my Apple iphone to my new one. She assured me everything would be on my new phone as soon as I set it up myself with a few simple prompts so I felt confident. She sent me home with my new phone still in the box with assurance all would be perfect after I follow the set up prompts, which I then did.HOWEVER, after setting it up at home and checking all my data I found only 6 phone contacts instead of many many contacts!! And there were a lot of my apps missing!!! This was a total disaster!!!I went to a different Verizon store the following day. The person who helped me there was a very knowledgeable competent employee who told me the chip inserted into my NEW phone was an OLD one which was not capable of transferring all of my data; therefore, the result! He said it could only transfer about 6% of my data.He proceeded to change the chip and transferred ALL of my data to my new phone with 100% success!!My new phone is now usable and has all that I had on my old phone.The attendant at this original Verizon store is totally incompetent and SHOULD NOT be employed here!!!!!
I want to thank Steve at this Verizon store. My wife has problems remembering numbers, etc. and Steve recommended a upgraded cell phone that would greatly assist her in staying in communication with her family. He patiently explained how to use this phone and programmed all of our families home and cell phone numbers. My wife is so relieved that now she can use her phone with confidence. I would recommend this store to anyone needing excellent customer service...

Worst experience I have had with Verizon. I have been with Verizon since I have had a phone (over 22 yrs). I am not happy about the unprofessional employees they hire,and they wont stand behind them. Verizon wont fix the problem caused by the Verizon employee! Bad Word of mouth about a shady group goes big, and fast. This store SUCKS by Ricks. Go to the one by Target, before you get an ugly taste in your mouth about Verizon Wireless. I am done with Verizon Wireless and will tell my story without hesitation. I dont want this to happen to anyone else.
No stars would be preferable. The agents at this store took advantage of my grandfather, an 86 year-old man with a flip phone, by setting him up with a new tablet, new Internet, and new TV channels, all while telling him it would be free. When his bill came, he had over $300 in activation fees and charges, and weve spent over a month trying to deal with this store and Verizon proper to fix it. The agents at this store have been extremely unhelpful and downright rude. Its pretty low for anyone to take advantage of an older person just for a commission.
If the option was available to give negative stars I would. My daughter bought a screen cover for my phone however, when she was wrapping it she looked at it and noticed that it was cracked. She took it back to the store to get a refund so that she could get something else and the store refused to refund her. I have been a loyal customer however, today that changes.
Dont expect support from Verizon while traveling. I have a new IPhone 6 plus. The Camarillo store should have inform me if I had problems with the phone while out of state other Verizon Stores will not honor the guarantee. I purchased this phone for an extended road trip. I was without a phone, navigation system, message system, on-line, etc., for 3 weeks. I stopped at 4 Verizon stores in 4 different states and not one of the stores would exchange my one month old phone. Also, dont let them talk you into additional insurance - it was worthless. If I could rate them a minus one star I would.
Josh was a huge help when I was having trouble with my phone. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly.

Much better than going to a corporate store, all corporate stores should be closed and the employees fired or sent to ATT to work.
I called ahead to be sure they could help me, and they were curt and rude on the phone. When I got to the store it was unbearably hot in there and they were taking an unnecessarily long time to process my cash payment. While I stood there fanning myself they thought it was a good time to try to get me to change my plan. Six months is not consistent enough of an history for me to change my plan. I told them I just wanted to pay my bill and leave. Then the manager Anthony Garnatz said thats fine, were happy to take your extra 30 dollars a month” the rudeness and audacity of that man bring down Verizon as a company on the whole. I hope they just remove this terrible location.
I just have to say, Geof the new manager is amazing. He really went above and beyond to take care of me and my family. Thank you Geof we are officially customers of your store.
I have Never experienced such lies and deceit from any business. Just because it purchased the Verizon name doesnt make it a trustworthy company. My recommendation is to only partner with a Corporate Verizon store not a verizon retailer. Extremely dishonest group of people.
I would give no stars if possible. Ihadnt realized that this was a authorized reseller and not a real Verizon store which explains the bad service. The manager Kyle has an attitude and needs to be removed or sent to customer service 101 classes. Very rude. Refused to cancel the wireless hotspot set up only a few days before which goes against Verizons 14 day no worry guarantee. Avoid at all costs! The real Verizon store is only a few minutes away in the Target Shopping Plaza next to Lure Restaurant.
Run away fast from these slimeballs. Lied to my face about activation fees for a new phone and Ipad. Gave me a free hotspot; when I said I didnt want it, they said might as well take it with you, it is free. My next Verizon bill was over $300 - including a hotspot activation fee and charge for a new line! I rarely write bad reviews, but this retail outlet gives Verizon a bad name.
