My gf called about wanting a pastry basket.. different pastries in a nice basket for a gift. She asked for $75.00 of an assortment of cookies, cupcakes, brownies.. she was told that was doable.. when I got there to pick it up I was given 2 boxes of donuts, a box of brownies, & a box of cupcakes..No basket.. she didnt ask for donuts..it was too late to get something else so I took what I was given. It would have been nice to have been told ahead of time that they didnt do that but instead I was stuck with what I was given..as always the pastries were very yummy. Maybe for future reference they need to inform the customer that they dont do baskets?!

It is a family owned community focused store. The produce is as local as you can get, so fresh. The smell of fresh fried chicken wafting around can make you hungry. They have a new sushi bar and boba tea. The employees are so friendly and helpful. I love coming here. 0

Great store, always has what I need plus more. Great coffee, sushi and there deli is the best!!! There produce is always fresh and they will order anything in you want in any amount with by the case pricing. They also have a meat deli that custom makes some fabulous meal options including their fresh fish. I will already enjoy coming to this store.

Popped in to get some snacks and water before my sons LaCrosse game. We had never been in this store before. It was very clean and the isle were Street names (very clever) they also had a beautiful old pickup in the store. Definitely will stop in again when in town!

This is a very nice grocery store. We go here even though it is out of the way.

My absolute favorite grocery store in the area. Great selection (though not as big as some competitors). Extremely friendly staff. Deli is fully stocked with everything from quick lunch stuff, to easy dinner selections. I live in Molalla, and will happily drive out of my way a bit to shop here.

Love everything, and service especially carrot cake an pumpkin bread. Fresh meat counter helpful atmosphere.

Wide variety of groceries/household items. Salad bar is great and cheese and wines are varied and plentiful.

Worth the drive from Molalla. The staff is always pleasant friendly and helpful. Does not have a huge selection but you can always find what you need. Prices are a little on the high side but if you use the $5 off for $50 spent you break even. The bakery is amazing.

This thriftway makes amazing cakes! They are super friendly and they have great taste. I highly recommend the pink champagne with raspberry filling and whipped cream frosting. Amazing. All our birthday cakes come from here and they are always crazy awesome.

The checker who helped me was very kind. As I was checking out I notice that I had left my wallet at home. I asked if I could leave my stuff there and come back and pay for it he assured me that there was no problem and not to worry that he would take care of it. I ran home got my wallet came back. He had all my items bagged and ready for me. I am an old woman and it would be easy for him to get annoyed with me or to make me feel foolish. Instead he took the time to make sure that I was fine. Lovely little place right down the street. so convenient and the employees are always so kind. prices are pretty decent; some things are more expensive than other places, some things arent. theyve always got deals on random/in season things. my boyfriend and I love the make your own sandwiches at the deli.

I try to support local businesses but their prices are pretty high compared to Freddy’s and Safeway. I still went there for a few things though like their Elsie’s Potato Salad and their doughnuts and Paloni’s pizza. A couple months ago I got what tasted like a sour batch of their Elsie’s Potato Salad. It was like the mustard had spoiled or something. Tried it again on a separate occasion and had the same problem. I thought maybe it was just a coincidence, so I just recently gave Elsie’s Potato Salad another chance, and this time it was the worst of all. Hard, undercooked potatoes. The salad was very dry and had almost zero moisture, and it still had the same sour taste. I’m officially done with Elsie’s now. They also discontinued their in-store pizza place, Paloni’s, which offered some of the freshest best tasting take and bake or cooked and ready to eat pizza. You could call in your order to have them make it fresh, but they would also make a certain amount of fresh pizzas daily to put in their cooler section right outside Paloni’s for customers to pick out while they were shopping after Paloni’s had closed. They now source their take and bake pizzas from some company in Gladstone I believe. They are nowhere near as good.

Gourmet choices, handmade sandwiches, and the pricing is well below its neighboring natural groceries. You can even sit down for a hot meal or a coffee and bagel. Worth the drive down 99E.

Best donuts on the East side!

My favorite store in canby.There have been times when I have been in this store 3-4 times in a day. Plus you never know what neighbors you will run into and chat with for 30 minutes.Stop by and get an apple fritter in the mornings. Best donuts around!!!

Just stopped for sandwiches, boy was that the right choice. Im always happy to find a great deli and this is one. Both the Reuben and the Ham and Cheese were delicious. We will definitely stop by here again.

Prices keep going up, up and up . I cant afford to shop here no more . I tried to stay with the store I grew up with, but no more . You took out products I bought and put in organics, wich is fine but dont take cheaper out

This Thriftway is unique to other Thriftways. Any time Im in Canby I stop and get there potato salad and there macaroni salad. They have the best Ive ever tasted from any other store. They also have one of the best delis ever. There staff are always friendly and helpful.

Shopped there for 30 years and now just returning after being away for 10 years. Still a great place to shop.

It was a fast stop for refreshments and snacks. They had everything I was looking for and made sure my check was quick and friendly. One of the things I will miss about living in Canby.

The place is nice inside. Unfortunately I wasnt able to leave when I was finished shopping. The loading zone for wheelchair lift vans isnt really wide enough. Apparently I was the very first one to have a problem with this.
