Great store to visit. staff is always helpful and polite and patient. theres usually a good selection of products to choose from and the prices are decent too. my only complaint is that there is never enough employees to get assistance from. seems like theyre under staffed. overall good store though.

5 stars solely for Hannah who works in Garden. She went above and beyond her job expectations to make sure I received a product that I really needed. She was extremely nice and her generosity absolutely blew me away. She deserves all the praise and recognition.

For the past four years I have been working on my fixed upper. And I can say first hand shop at the home depot if you want it to last. I been other places for a sale or 11% back and trust me I spent more, on those deals!

For years, the Westland location, by far is my favorite Home Depot. I had wood cut by Maddy, she was absolutely awesome! Very nice, professional and helpful! The women at self checkout were nice as well! Thanks guys for being awesome!

Bought attic blow in insulation and got the machine to blow it in. 1. machine didnt work properly, it took several hours to blow in 8 bags (we had to do 30 in total). We exchanged the machine and the second one didnt work at all! Just wasted a whole Sunday to get less then a 1/4 of my small attic insulated. What a mess!

Terrible quality of rough lumber. Annoying solicitations plenty of staff to watch me do my own check out but few available for help in the isles.

Nice place seems to be better suited for commercial contractors then your typical homeowner looking to update and work on their homes

This Home Depot is older than the one on Michigan Avenue but the staff makes up for it. There is a consistency with the team here that I count on. Theres never been a time where they were not helpful and work hard to make things perfect. Lots of folks I trust here!

First place I go for my home and landscaping needs. Always have a good supply on the shelves and the staff is friendly and helpful. This trip I bought on the wall electrical boxes and conduit to add a badly needed light fixture with a wall switch.

Has mostly every home improvement needs you can ask for. I only really have a problem with the payment method. Mobile payment is not supported, not even NFC is allowed. Id understand not supporting MST (SamsungPay) but for NFC to not work, thats just disappointing. If not for the better tracking of your purchases in-store (linked to your payment cards set on your account), I would just focus my purchases at Lowes.

Never using The Home Depot for carpet.Our scheduled installation was supposed to be today. We get a call in the window of when it was supposed to be installed, after we moved all of our furniture out, that our carpet was damaged and now we need to wait until June 15 for carpet.Not to mention - my moms was installed last week and the installed the WRONG carpet! A way cheaper one and the wrong color.Im so angry right now. Mistakes happen, but now this is 2 homes within the week that they have screwed over.May be time to get a new installation company, Home Depot.There is no reason I should have to wait ANOTHER month for carpet when weve already been waiting over 2 months!! Its paid for!!

It was a beautiful and cool day for some shopping to pick up some plants, a clay pot and mulch. I love this Home Depot location when it comes to indoor and outdoor plants. It wasnt crowded, they had lots of flowers, although I know more is coming, and the staff are pretty awesome!😁

Im not giving Home Depot 5 stars so much as Im giving the associate Kaylin (not sure of the spelling) who works in the appliance department. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She was amazingly helpful getting appliances for a place 150 miles away. She was amazing!

This particular Home Depot in Canton is very well run. Its always clean and the customer service is good. Im a frequent Shopper at Home Depots around the area and this one is very nice. Everything is well-stocked and clean.

This place has the most knowledgeable staff. Especially the guys in plumbing and electrical. Im pretty knowledgeable in both fields but when I need something extra these guys are right on it.

Its a nice store for tools projects and more!

Never liked this store and every time I visit it sucks even more. I get more “that’s not my department” or a defensive employee “we don’t carry that here”, not a let me look and see if our other store has that in stock. Costumer service here just sucks!

Best shoping place to get home stuff from.it has all the house equipment and garden stuff that you could and couldnot think off. This place is awsome. Friendly staff who are always willing to help. I highly recommend that every one visit this place and shop cause it is one of the super amazing home shopping ceters i ever went to.

Good luck getting help. I stopped in later in the night to get a piece of lumber cut. When I finally found an associate he looked like a deer in headlights when I asked him to get someone to cut a piece of lumber. The only thing he could say was lumber is not picking up.

It was easy to find someone to answer any questions.

I came in and brought paint lid of a paint I neededGirl working paint was incredibly rude and gave me the wrong color and really didn’t care if I had the right color. Not only did this ruin my project that cost 1500.00 but ruined my hall way where I touched up because the paint didn’t matchCalled corporate and never heard back. Very disappointed and will be canceling my Home Depot account and going elsewhere.

Well organized store with friendly and great staff who always are up to help the customers.Great return policy, fair price, stocked shelves, and fast checkout.The garden section has a good selection for everyone.During the pandemic, there are more employees to help and they provide sanitizer to the customers.

I like it most of the employees are nice I came in for a couple bags of mulch both my bags were molded so I was a little bit upset about that I put it down on the ground anyways and the mold seem to go away after a couple days, which was good cuz it was alot of mold and very white, not healthy when you have to touch it . Overall I love home Depot they have so much stuff calling and asking for customer service over the phone is another story last couple times Ive done that very poor help but I still love home Depot Im imagining covid has part to do with the last year or so of having issues

Having a home and no longer renting, I find myself here more and more often. I dont know if thats a good or bad thing but thats neither here nor there. The one thing that I find super convenient about these stores is how they are organized. The stores floor plan is based more around common sense rather than where something probably would be. Basically if you look up at one of the aisle signs and think to yourself I bet what I am looking for is right there—it probably is.They also mostly only sell the things you would be looking for at a home improvement style store—aside from some automotive stuff everything else is what youd be expecting at a store like this. No boxed cereal, milk, or bags of weird candies like some other places sell.The employees here are friendly when and if you end up interacting with them. With that being said, I have found that at this location employees are a little more likely to seek you out and offer assistance than at some other locations that I have been to—which is super helpful if you are in need of something. I personally hate having to run around looking for help if I am in need.I normally would also reference the fact at many locations they do have employees that have a wide range of knowledge that is super helpful if youre in a pickle and need some advice. I havent personally had to ask for anything at this location, but I would tend to expect the same standard here as well.All in all, I find myself leaning toward coming here versus other brand stores that sell similar products when I am in need of something. I really have always had a pleasant shopping experience here (the few times that I have been to this specific location).Stop in here if you are in need of the things they specialize in selling. You wont regret it.

Usually disappointed with home depot, but today I was impressed by a few helpful and friendly staff when I went in to spend some gift cards. A nice lady I stopped to ask where the GFIs were was very helpful and courteous. The electrical specialist was also very helpful when called to help me find the GFIs. And the kid on the self checkout lanes was very friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Excellent had everything I needed. New lawnmower.

An excellent Home Depot location, the staff is always willing to help you find what you are looking for. I most recently came to rent a truck from the rentals center, and was helped right away with a staff member who was happy to be there. Especially now with social distancing in effect, it was great to see that they have proper cleaning precautions in place. The staff member made sure to wipe down the keys and vehicle before we got in to ensure a better level of cleanliness.

This store has it together. The stock is in the right place with the proper signs nearby.

I have to start by saying HD was my number 1 for any and all home improvements.I’m sad to say the level of service and product is no longer any good any company that would lie on there own customers.I had a granite countertop installed within two years it cracked down the middle because it’s cracked on the middle Home Depot stated that it was due to abuse how many granite countertops go through abuse spoke to the store and a manager I have never seen nothing like it.I was unaware that they use a third party on the product and in home service.If you can’t stand by a product you probably shouldn’t sell it to your customers.I was angry now just 100% disappointed.

Its crazy! Some white employees pretend they dont see you. Will walk by u with out offering any help! Went to the Canton, Mi. Store 4 times today. After buying a $2000. Air compressor. To buy the dryers and othet parts. Next stop Lowes

Surprisingly I assume that Id get alot better service than I would at another Home Depot. This home depot is whack. I waited in line for paint, for 23 minutes. 2 HD associates walked right pass me.

Got me the right stuff that I did not know I needed. I stained my stairs just in time for christmas eve. We were able to walk on them just in time.They turned me on to Varathane cherry wood stain for my stairway. Worked way better than Miniwax brand. Thanks

Lowes has more options and prices are fair.For ex; to change yer sensor in the furnace you purchase a new one at Lowes for under $8 doll hairs rather than Depot for $11-ish. YIKES!

Always have what I need. Prices are fair depending on what your buying. Employees are always helpful and willing to show you where something is shelved. The greeter at the door (older white Male) is always friendly. Huge selection of tools, lights, lawn care, plants, and painting materials. I come here often and love the military discount. Also noticed this is the only store in the area that has a military parking spot!! Easy to notice from the road, clean well lit store with clean public restroom. They also offer tool rentals. I would recommend this location to everyone.

Param came to my help when he spotted that a plywood 8 sheet slipped from my hand and my cart also went sideways. He helped me load three 8 plywood sheets in my trucks bed and a kitchen cabinet inside the cabin. Anyone in his place could have turned a blind eye and walked sideways but he came out fr inside the store and offered to help.
