The employee that helped my husband and I was named Rita. She was very rude and had a nasty tone with us. We were irritated because he had called customer service before hand to ask if they traded in old phones SPECIALLY for cash. He said yes and then proceeded to make us an appointment so we could go into the store for them to evaluate the phone and give us a quote and finish the transaction. When we got there she first yes that was doable and proceeded to help us, she then went to speak to the manager and came back and changed her original statement by saying they could only give us store credit which is not the same thing she originally told us or the employee we spoke to on the customer service line. She then had an attitude with us when we expressed the inconvenience as that’s not what we had previously been told minutes before. She was rude and not helpful at all.We will not being going back to her.
I had the weirdest most frustrating problem with my phone while I was at SeaWorld and afterwards and I took it in and a Verizon employee named Gary fixed it within a couple of minutes! I was so happy I mean it had caused so much stress I could not get it to work and it would not stop talking to me! Luckily Im not the first person that happened to!
Walked in the store and had to wait 55 minutes to be helped despite the fact that there were 3 other customers and 4 other employees. One was waiting to check in other customers, but nobody else came. Once I was helped it all went quickly at least.
The people in the store were very helpful. Rita, my personal rep, customer service was outstanding, and more than willing to answer my questions about the iPhone Pro Max. Her knowledge of the device really brought it home for me, and why I purchased the phone right away.
Gary was very personable, kind and helped us come to a resolution to our iPhone issue quickly. I would highly recommend him. I wish all Verizon support people cared as much and were as skilled as Gary.
Great staff. Easy process
Said a 40 minute wait, we are still waiting 90 minutes later. Thats pretty bad. Sense of urgency is non existenet with employees.
Easy process to upgrade phone, knowledgeable employees.
Theres never a good experince when i go to this store. In fact all i needed was a sim card.
I came in to get a replacement SIM card and ended up getting a tablet. Not bad for the price, but the salesperson was overly persistent and almost overwhelming, not to knowledgeable about the new Samsung tablet. Im no technology guru, but I have looked into this tablet enough to know that a lot of what he was saying was not true, but sales techniques. Overall, not a horrible experience.
Poor customer service from the service staff. Initially refused to see us because we did not have an appointment. So got an appointment. Came back at the correct time. We found the management accepted a walk in directly before us; and, than kept us waiting outside for about 10 minutes in 90 degrees heat before offering the option of us returning to our vehicle for some air conditioning. We complained to the staff about what appeared be special treatment for the walk in customer. After obtaining a new phone the activation failed for the cellar carrier portion. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon customer service technical support a very nice lady. The store had some how setup the activation of the phone for the next billing cycle a month away. The lady customer service tech fixed the problem that the store screwed up.The store has terrible customer service and are technically incompetent. Save yourself some time do not go to this store.
Mike provided us with 5 star service right of the bat. Specially after coming from a really bad experience from a previous store in the village. He is very knowledgeable and cares about finding a solution to your problem! Highly recommend this location in Carlsbad. I repeat don’t waste your time with any other location!!
So I appreciate the covid precautions...but the distance is supposed to be social not emotional...no one was engaged except my attendant...and her engagement was a lil pushy...the store itself was clean...the workers seemed put off by an actual customer coming in...but Ill let it slide because we are all dealing with this fiasco the best we can... remember Verizon just because the services are available online doesnt mean the customer should be directed there...I already took my time to go to the store...I should be welcomed warmly not whatever the opposite of that is...
I have ordered 2 iPhone 3 times...each get canceled. I am ordering the phones again for the 4th time....fingers crossed ✝️
I was so disappointed with the service today. I went in trying to see about upgrading my iPhone from a 7 to a newer model. When we first got there we checked in with a really nice guy (I cant remember his name) and waited for about 15 minutes or so. Then a guy named Ahmad came out to help us. I had a lot of questions because I wasnt sure what phone I really wanted they just have so many new iPhones now. Right from the moment I started talking to him about my concerns and my questions he seemed annoyed and burdened by me. He also kept checking his phone very often and I swear I caught him rolling his eyes a few times. It seemed like he wasnt even listening to me and just wanted to get me out as soon as possible. His whole vibe got me so frustrated that I ended up leaving the store empty handed. Ive worked in retail/ customer service for years and I could not believe how Ahmad treated me. Really bad experience. I wish I would have complained to a manager or even asked for another person to help us because the rest of the workers actually seemed nice and like they would be helpful.
We just left the Verizon store very disappointed by our service. We told the manager the reason we were there. We have a factory defect on the phone that is on a business plan. We waited 30 minutes to get inside and another 10 minutes before the lady who seemed like she had no idea what she was doing to tell us that they couldnt help us today. NOT COOL a complete waste of time. Why did they have us wait all that time when they couldnt help us? Not happy about my service with Verizon right now.
45 mins in line ... this is an APT ONLY location. No one comes out and tells you this while standing in line. No signs anywhere (have pics on my phone) ... staying APT only. Who does this?? 45 mins of my life outside in a line to be told go elsewhere. Nice Verizon of Carlsbad.
Mike was my customer service rep who met me at the door. He was really patient and considerate and had my issue handled in less than three minutes, while managing two other customers simultaneously. What made my experience with Mike truly exceptional was I entered the store having been on hold with Verizon (as directed) for over 90 minutes, and my issue was obviously not solved. Needless to say I was not in my best frame of mind...yes I was VERY frustrated. Did I mention that Mike was really busy at that time with a line out the door? Somehow he managed to call headquarters and got my situation fixed. Yeah, Mike! Give the man a big raise. Thanks!
Had a very easy interaction with the employees of Verizon, Hugo was our sales associate and was very helpful with our needs.
I entered the store and was asked what I needed. I said to the employee that I needed to cancel some lines on my account. They said no problem and that it would be about 40 minutes. After waiting, I was called up, and the person helping me said that I cant cancel at the store and that I would have to call a number. If I cant cancel in the store, then why did they make me wait 40 minutes to tell me, instead of letting me know when I came in and told them what I needed to do. Now, Ive been on hold for an additional 25 minutes while writing this review.
Able to take me in and help me with my phone.
The sale was great, the guys were helpful, and I bought 2 XR phones. These were not in stock, 3 days later the same guys were gone and I wanted the phones setup. I waited 70-80 min and then was told they cancelled my place in line, and I had another hour. I was told I could not leave the phones and come back - I left and the phones were not set up.
Great service!!! Only problem was Covid-19.
Always a wait, seems totally unnecessary. Got here Monday 6:50pm, store half empty, still waited 5min to get on the list, then 45min to talk to someone. No bathroom. The greeter was very nice on communicating updates while we were waiting.Ahmed was super nice, knowledgeable, helpful... couldnt have asked for a nicer person.
Close to home easy to get to no problems
Some good service, some not so good. Receptionists was great. The Afro-American dude was good, the guy who got the new phone, totally not good service. Did not get the new phone because of his interaction with me. Will not be back and will not this Verizon store.
The worst experience I have as a customer for over 20 years. I dont think the person who call themselves trying to help had a clue he was off task and had a hard time staying focused. Later this evening I followed up my calling the store spoke to a representative who knew exactly what to do all I wanted was a fedx day to return box to mail my item back to the manufacturer for repairs and all I needed was some numbers that will correspond with my item so that way I could be sent in with whoever helped me there at Verizon the young lady that we spoke to with and I pray for thank you so much for having a common sense to know what to do and to take the time out to actually do it for the Amman I suggest that you get some more training on how to speak and handle customers when theyre upset or whether asking for a simple thing she was able to take care of my needs and less than 10 minutes which is someone who needs to be in upper management to have an understanding on how to deal with customer care.
I just wanted to ask some questions about phones but they kept pressuring me to give my account info so i just left. Commission based sales people are the worst anyway, conflict of interest there. Better to do your own research and buy online.
Very helpful staff that even stayed late to help us with our purchases.
Clean store obeys covid orders
Great service. Great staff. Responsive to my problem and offered a quick resolution. As always the only downside is the wait.
What a waste of time and a rude employee. I came in to see about a plan change and the gal helping me seemed in a rush and was very annoyed that I was asking to see (like a quote) my options for another plan. She kept saying “if I am doing this correctly, it will be $43 more a month”. I was expecting a professional expert experience that gave me a printed out comparison of my plan options. But instead I got “I’m pretty sure...”.
For one of the most expensive service providers you would expect good customer service and a knowledgeable staff. The treatment I received at this location was beyond horrendous! I tried calling this location to get assistance before driving there and I spent 10 minutes waiting for someone to answer my call and over 20 minutes on hold after they answered and was still on hold by the time I had driven to their physical location. I have been handling my device issues through 2 tiers of technical support for over a week and was instructed to pick up a part for my phone. I had to wait another 20 minutes just to grab a part while they serviced other customers. When the man working there got to us he was short and very rude. He was complaining about not getting a lunch and not getting his coffee to customers. Then told me that I cannot tell technical support that I need a free replacement phone for an issue that no one can figure out that is completely unrelated to my use, because I didn’t disclose my screen was cracked. I told him it was my screen protector and he insisted it isn’t and it’s internal. I literally had to pull my screen protector off of the phone to prove to him it was only my screen protector and then he began pushing on the corner of my phone trying to produce a crack. My screen is fine. I will now have to buy another screen protector. Not only was his misery at his job extremely apparent but it was obvious that he was actively trying not to help me get the help that I deserve as I am paying for a monthly service that I am not receiving. Terrible customer service at this location! I am seriously considering switching providers after this experience.
Outstanding customer support from start to finish. Alex went above and beyond twice. Original phones crystal cracked and he transferred contacts and pictures twice. He is the consummate professional thats dedicated to his craft. Thank goodness his recommended phone insurance. To the management... Keep hiring the best.
My husband came here to check on his phone since he messed up the screen. We were told 30min wait time which we didnt mind. There was 6 employees just standing around while we waited. Once we got helped, we were told there nothing they can do on there end to just call verizon on sending a new phone. Even though it was just a cracked screen. With the phone working perfectly fine. Not much help after a long wait.
Update:They did not surprise with good service - we spent the next year trying to correct what they had done wrong. They acknowledged it, but took their sweet time correcting it, while we paid for it and had to waste our time getting them to fix our account.———————————————————————My experience echos those in the reviews here - good to know it is not just me, unfortunately nothing gets done other than a comment here by the owner. I have to go in again for the 5th time today - I would be shocked if it goes well... please surprise me with good service.
Great customer service from beginning to end. David helped us on multiple days and was happy to answer any and all questions. I would highly recommend heading over here to get Verizon service!
Great variety of cell phones and accessories above competetive prices compared to other cell phone companies no loyalty rewards I have been with Verizon since 1987 and have received no loyalty discounts no freebies just a steep monthly bill. No call drops. Excellent customer service. Tony B. Vista, CA
Always spend more than I wanted to here but got good quality accessories that we needed along with a good deal on the phone. Have been with Verizon for 12 years now
I had to wait over half an hour, just to LOOK at phone cases. What a complete waist of time. I understand having to wait if you need help with service or a phone, but just keep the cases out so people can look through them and leave if theres nothing they want.
I dont know I cant say they treated me with the best of customer service
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Very rude staff after buying a 1000 dollar iPhone they refused to help me put on a screen protector that I got online. They made me by one in the store and put it on with a ton of air bubbles. My bill is outrageous. I’m better off now with straight talk and save a ton.
Knowledgeable
Quick and easy transaction.
Went a couple of weeks ago to upgrade my dad flip phone to a smartphone. Alex was very helpful and had so much patience with answering all our questions. If he was unable to answer it himself he would seek an answer with manager. Verizon hire more people like Alex!(:
I just wasted two hours of my life with an uneducated sales rep named Juan. You would assume that working at Verizon, a person would be knowledgeable about the services that are offered there, but he wasnt! Seriously just wasted 2 hours of my life that could have been resolved by him telling me, sorry a phone number will not allow phone calls or texts on an iPad, instead of him saying, yes, you can do that, just to make a sale. I love my Verizon service but this is one location I will definitely NOT be returning to just because the lack of knowledge.
Waited for over an hour for assistance and ended up leaving. The employees in the denim shirts stood around talking to each other and were in no hurry to help customers.
For one the employees do not even know details of the plans they sell. on the plan they give me if it gets too congested My service speed goes down I would have chosen a different plan if they knew the finer details of the plan that they give me. I come in today July 7 2018 to see if they can help me the only thing they said they can do is upgrade me to another plan thats $10 more the clerk does that without saying really anything to me leaves talks to her manager and a starts helping another customer that walks in. I stand there completely lost the manager writes the customer service number down on a sticky note and puts it by my wallet and leaves I sit there literally for 5 minutes at the counter loss I asked another clerk if he can help me but says he cant just wait for the lady that was helping you after waiting 5 minutes the manager comes back from the back of the store the lady that was helping me walks up to her and ask her should I tell him or should you than comes up to and says I upgraded your plan I cant help you getting a discount call customer service and see if they can. I waited 5 minutes lost in the sauce just for that Im returning my phone today and canceling my service with Verizon.
My experiences with this Verizon have been inconsistent. There are days where the associates are more than friendly & helpful and there are other times where it feels like theyre being short. When it doesnt seem like my business is appreciated. So its ok, good; but inconsistent.
Superb service by Verizon associate Chase who was able to rectify a voice mail issue, installing a new simm card.
Very efficient and friendly.
Can be rather busy with longer wait times. Sales can be a little pushy but most of the time the people are knowledgeable and can solve your issue.
Ridiculous is the only word that comes to mind. We went in to buy a phone and a snotty lady is at a podium as you walk in and demands that we give her our information so we can wait 45 minutes for the honor of giving Verizon our money. And the lady did not apologize or was even nice about it. I asked if we could go get lunch during the 45 minutes and she said if we are not back when they call our name we would have to start over. Such gall. Went to Sprint across the street and had someone who wanted to earn our business.
Mike was very helpful and informative. Thanks!
I came in yesterday and upgraded my phone to the galaxy S9 and I was told by Mindy that my current phone had a $90 value and that I needed to trade it in within 14 days. So... I come in today and the guy at the door (Will) asks what were here for and I tell him what what Mindy had told me the previous day. He asked if I had the envelope and the postage which I did not because I was not provided with that and was unaware that I even needed it. He took our name said one person was ahead of us and we waited. When its our turn, another guy comes to help us and I explain why Im there. He also asks if Mindy gave me and envelope and postage which I most certainly didnt recieve. He told me that he wanted to wait for Mindy to finish with her current customer so she could help me because he didnt want to mess anything which wasnt a problem for me because it seemed like they couldnt help me anyway. When she was finished with her customer she went to a back room and we were waiting a bit for her to come out... and when she did she tapped me and said i just cant be here any longer but someone else will help you with your trade in, it will only be 5 minutes. So 5 minutes goes by and it seems that she hadnt told anyone to help us. We asked the guy standing there if we could get someone cause at this point we had been waiting a long time and he was surprised that Mindy has left for the day but said that he would get someone to help us. He never moved or told anyone. We waited about 5 to 10 more minutes and walked out. This was by far the biggest waste of time Ive ever experienced at a verizon store. I will be going to the Escondido one from now on and i suggest others do as well. They have a complete disregard for peoples time and patience.
All this staff person wanted to do was up sale me, felt like I was in a used car lot. If I didnt upgrade today who knows what might happen. Like not being able to surf the Web or use Google, no support for phones up to S7 coming in Sept. Etc.I might add the remodel makes this place sterile and uncomfortable. Spend your time sitting on bar hight metal frame chairs with a very low back and a seat made of what looks like butcher block.Might as well ditch the humans and use robots.
The man helping me was very distracted and didnt seem to really be interested in helping me. Was just trying to return a hotspot device they wanted me to try, had it for about 4 days used it once. He couldnt get the return to go through after about 30 mins of waiting came back told me a manager was looking at it she got it done within 10 mins. They really try to sell you on stuff you didnt go I for which kinda bother me because I dont like being pressured, but they do also give you info on all the deals going on.
THE WORST customer service Ive ever experienced! I walked in there to troubleshoot a problem with my phone and the guys acted as if they couldnt be bothered to help me, even though the store was empty. And they still made me wait over 10 minutes! One guy literally rolled his eyes when I explained my problem and talked to me as if I was a child. Ive never been treated so rudely! What happened to customer service these days??
Very helpful and great service like always
Had to switch to get a iPhone 6s Plus, the employee nicely put the tempered glass on my phone.. I dropped it twice and it still cracked.. Obviously that glass doesnt work!!! Very disappointed.. I still love my Verizon service
I will never go back to this store again. Rude made an excuse for everything we ask for. Been a customer for 30 years and never been treated so bad. Will be changing company!
I came to this store for a simple 2 line switch from T-Mobile. After 4+ hours with sales rep Doug leading the way, we finally walked out with 2 new phones and Verizon service. Doug made promises along the way which didnt hold true (ex. waiving activation fees) and has taken me an additional 1-2 hours of time dealing with a very responsive and helpful Verizon customer service department over the phone. My advice, do not visit this store unless you like to wait around to deal with incompetence. Call Verizon or set everything up online. Verizon has been great so far, just not Doug and not this store.
Great service my sales rep Daniel was on point and took care of my concerns happy with my purchase.
Friendly staff...definitely one of the better Verizon stores I have been in. Usual time spent in the store is about an hour though, so be prepared.
Worst customer service, waited for almost 20 minutes. Kept saying youre next, youre next. I saw at least 4 employees walking around not helping anyone. Then when they come to help me with my phone, they say they cant find the phone info and that I did not buy it from a corporate store. Then they tell me I would need to go there, guess what idiots Im sitting in the Encinitas corporate store where I bought it. Get a clue, no wonder you have such a trashy rating... Stop offering water and offer real customer service.
OMG!! Where to I begin! I had be suffering with very thin hair on top of my head where you could see my scalp. It devasted me so much I tried hair extensions, wearing my hair differently, then just hats .. I resigned to the fact that anything could be done and I would just suck it up .In all honesty, I was depressed and my confidence was shattered.. When I had a consultation with Casey she showed me before and after pictures, and my heart started to beat ! Omg thats me!! Casey was so sweet and knowledgeable you could really see true passion about people with this . This procedure has ABSOLUTELY changed my life . We looked at My before and after pictures and I thought it was someone else !! If your story sounds like mine dont waist anymore time !! This is the real deal THANKS CASEY!!!Nancy
Do not purchase the overpriced accessories. They will try to sell you on bundle deals of trash products. Just look up the reviews/prices elsewhere of the products they are peddling. Disgusting.
Good service
Went there this morning after a frustrating chat online. Wanted to find out about a specific mobile hotspot. Traveling and WiFi at hotel ridiculously slow. Juan greeted me when I arrived just after opening. He was Juan-derful. Very patient and very knowledgeable. Right away told me I could get what I needed with a different device. Helped me set it up. Talked me through a couple of other purchases and helped set up those devices also. Very good experience at this Verizon store.
Rip off central - tell you extending contract and then you get equipment charges - FRAUD pure and simple!! Found known process through customer service.
Helpful on warranty issue did not try and over sell me on replacement options
It really depends on the person you get to help you. Some are completely incompetent and others are great! I think in general all the Verizon stores in north county are mediocre with customer service. The worst however being the one in San Marcos by Walmart...even the manager is rude and completely incompetent.
Very good service on new phone
I am not sure why I do not bother going straight to Best Buy every single time anymore. Verizon allows for disgusting business practices here, and while I am not dense enough to think that any phone company has any honor when it comes to money grabbing, I do see that I have stood to get better recommendations and much better savings and satisfaction just going to Best Buy.Bottom line up front: The salesmen in here have no integrity. My wife and I got a joker named Terrod or Terron in here who acted like the most helpful person who was looking out for us. Luckily I watch out for us with a keen eye. Unlike Best Buy he failed to let us know we had an upgrade, and after he finished his bit about why we should buy everything Apple because they are on sale, my wife asks for one with a black face. While we wait he sells us on an iPad for $200 and some change. We do not really use them, but at that price why not. Glad I checked out the iPad stand because he had hidden the fact that the iPad would cost us an extra $10/month as well as an activation fee because it has networking. After I decline the iPad he says the black faced iPhones are out of stock so I tell my wife we will try Best Buy as the black phone is a deal breaker. Terro(d?/n?) suddenly thought they might have some if we can wait around for 15 minutes while they check the safe. The safe that magically takes 15 minutes to open for security purposes. I assume the purpose here was to get us to keep looking around.I bet if someone held a gun to his head and said give me everything in the safe it probably would not take a quarter hour to get it open.We did not wait around for more lies and attempts to get us to spend money uneccessarily. We left and went to Best Buy where I have found myself going for multiple phone purchases recently with no regrets. Thanks, phone stores, for making me feel like you and your employees are generally seedy scum at best.
These guys are the worst. I would give them zero stars if I could. I have several lines on my account including my Moms. My Mom went into the store to replace her broken Iphone 6sPlus. They told her that the 6sPlus was no longer available (lie) and talked her into a new 8Plus. Not only did they take advantage of an older lady, they also started charging another one of my lines for a 6sPlus. A phone that we never even received and was supposedly not even available. I called and talked to the associate who sold my Mom the new phone. I explained my situation and he told me he was in sales and not customer service. I then asked for the manager and she was no help either. I finally had to call Verizon and sit on hold for an hour while they tried to figure out what had happened. The whole process was embarrassing really. Dont go to this store!
Not the best place for deals on phones, they dont honor manufacturer deals pretty friendly service but they could help Best buys the place to go for phones
I inquired about the new lollipop 5.0 update and why it crashed both of my devices simultaneously. they explained to me that Im probably visiting websites that have a lot of viruses on them causing my problem and that they will not honor their product. thats right they suggested that maybe I am visiting unsavory websites in an attempt to embarrass me at the store.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.Do not go here. I wish I could give them a -5 stars. I have never missed a bill or canceled any lines on my 3 line plan for the last 3-4 years. I go in for a promotion, and get accused of fraud and they lock down my account so I cant even take advantage of the promotion for 3 days anywhere else. Called verizon and they said theres zero suspicious activity on my account and they do not understand why my account was locked. Maybe others are doing something malicious at their location, but they just lost a loyal customer. If I end up leaving verizon altogether it will be their fault. Not only did they do all that, they even told other stores that i was switching phones on my lines and canceling lines. I havent switched anything I already had that phone on my line for months. But hey, canceling lines, is not fraud, its an option.God forbid you take advantage of a promotion from verizon at this store.
Had an excellent experience putting together a family plan with our sales specialist David in Carlsbad. This was a really nice change since Im so use to getting mediocre service when it comes to service providers. David was extremely knowledgable, answered questions quickly, and was able to break down the family plan in full detail without any confusion. If you are looking for a new service provider I highly recommend going in to the Carlsbad Verizon Wireless location and specifically asking for David. However I do see quite a few negative reviews on here about how the sales team is outstanding but the customer service is a bit rough to deal with, hopefully I will not be coming back to edit this post negatively.I guarantee, personally coming from Sprint, you will not be disappointed with the service that Verizon provides. Its just fact that they provide the best service, e.g. in the carlsbad and surrounding areas there are 70 towers for Verizon compared to four that AT&T provides.
Great staff - friendly and knowledgeable
Always too long of a wait at this store. Perhaps they need to hire some more techs .
Lack of competence among staff. Found out more information via Google than the Verizon employees here. Reconmend searching for a higher rated store, if there are any.
Please pass the store and save time and money. The staff is not trained to treat customer courtisly and they lack of phone operation knowledge. Worse that that they insist they know it, the guy and his manger were saying contradictory things and both wete wrong, I spent 30 minutes no result, I went to another store and they sort out my issue in 5 minutes and proved me that this store staff were wrong. Save your time
Absolutely horrible customer service every time I come in. This time I walk in and there are four employees chatting at the table where you check in. After ignoring me a while they eventually tell me that there are three people ahead of me, then they continue chatting. Apparently none of them are capable of helping.
This place has the worst service ever! Okay, it was one guy, JUAN who has bad service and has zero knowledge about the services Verizon offers. We went in because we thought, by adding a phone number to an iPad, that the iPad could be used as a phone (yes, we were completely unknowledgeable). I kept asking, by adding a phone number to the iPad, can my daughter get phone calls and text? Juan kept saying, YES. When we questioned, why is adding a phone number to an iPad significantly cheaper than an actual phone, he said its because its a different type of device. No, im not tech savvy so I believed Juan - big mistake! Soon as the sale was done and the line was added, Juan began to tell us how our daughter would need to download WhatsApp or Skype to make phone calls or send texts, leaving us to beg the question, What was the point of the phone number? Ooh! Its so she can connection everywhere- thats it. Its only for wireless connection. The phone number serves no other purpose. Cannot call with it, cannot text with. Learned that thats what the iCloud account is for - and it doesnt require a phone number. I truly wish Juan would have simply stated that adding a phone number does not allow calls and texts instead of saying yes, just so he could earn the sale. Thank goodness, Verizon has excellent phone support (*611)and Charles was able to clear this whole mess that Juan could have prevented. Yes, I admit, Im not a tech savvy or an Apple savvy person, but thats why I kept asking so many questions.Dear Juan - please learn to give HONEST answers instead of worrying about a damn sale. People will appreciate you much more.
This place has really good customer service alex really help me out. Very on par with a corporate store with verizon.
Great service, knowledgeable staff, big selection
A sales woman, Ellen Kim is a lair. I went to this store located at 1846 Marron Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92008, on the last black Friday to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon, and tried to trade in my older version of iPhone to buy a new iPhone. She sold me the promotion package and also asked me to buy additional accessories around $175.00, and they will send me the rebate $200 in 8 weeks. I took the deal, and she charged my credit card $175.00, did not even give me the receipt and all the other purchase documents. Now, 5 month passed, no rebate.
The store on Marron Rd in Carlsbad CA is doing a disservice to their customers. I was not clearly quoted in the price plus tax for two phones. Worse, I returned to the store the next day, but my sales rep was not there so I would have to wait until he and a manger could review the situation. 5 days went by and no call. I called back instead and waited,on hold, 40 minutes to talk with a manager. It could have more had I not gone to the store while still on hold. The manager could not explain why it takes at least 40 minutes to hold. I was later called by the manager and informed of a credit, which is apologetic, but corporate should know that this store lacks good customer service processes especially wrt customer communications.
Tries to scam, hands down scammers. Overcharging on phones, went in to get an upgrade they said the total was 369$ On Edge Up.. I know my phones and i used to work for verizon, They added a bunch of stuff to the bill and werent even going to give it to me even if i had paid. Total cost of the actual phone out the door would be 86$. Im reporting this place to Verizon as i write this review. Straight up thiefs
Verizon good 4G, but too much, ProjectFi is great
Short wait very knowledgeable
If I could rate this store and these representatives less than 1 star I would absolutely do so. I have never been so prepared to leave Verizon in my 10 years of patronage to this company. We have been completely deceived by multiple employees at this location but Gary specifically, and have had to call customer service 4 times at this point due to his and their money hungry, vengeful and vindictive acts. Thankfully, someone in North Carolina cares about the service quality and honesty. I will never go back to this location and will never recommend it to anyone I know. Verizon and Gary, you completely wasted our time and we were prepared to walk in there today with the intention of wasting yours but you can thank Andrea in North Carolina for solving your problems. We were lied to about prices, hidden fees, monthly charges, and in the end you vengefully tried to charge/screw us one last time with the early termination fees though we followed Verizons grace period guidelines. Take those precious commissions and go buy some morals.
Terrible service. Employee lied to me, to sell me hotspot. Said it would lower my bill $10 for each one I bought, some kind of promotion. Took 1 year to get charges reversed . And still didnt get all my money back
There should be an option less than poor or less than fair such as terrible as with this place. I waited around for almost 10 minutes before I finally approached an employee that I saw that was free and date in in for me that I needed to sign in and that there was a 30-35 minute wait time before I could get helped. They were not even that busy. And I still waited around for 5 minutes and during that 5 minutes I counted a total of 3 employees to work not doing anything in the store and they still have not called anyone on the list. So I finally got up and walked out and sure enough I was already in Escondido at Starbucks whenever I received a phone call asking if I was still in the store because they had just called my name. Their service there sucks and their cell phone signal service phone and everything else that has to do with Verizon sucks in general as well. Thank God that this happened to me because now Im just switching over to sprint on my wifes account. Instead of her coming to Verizon on my account.
Dan was super helpful. Glad he was there.
Worst customer service EVER!!! Employees are rude and disrespectful. Cant wait to be done with this company!
I seldom get any resolution at these stores. Waste of my time
No customer bathroom and they cant even offer you water.
