Im a new customer at this store! Clean amd organized! I received phononmial suggestions and customer service from Tina! She was awesome! I will definitely be visiting again! This store has become my new favorite for protein and supplements!!!!
Went in to find a pre-workout that I couldn’t find anywhere else. The cashier/sales lady was not wearing a mask and didn’t follow a 6 feet protocol. Next she told me I was selecting a low range product and that I needed to buy the full line of products eventually. I understand she’s probably on commission but she didn’t even try to suggest another product. It felt more like an insult than a sales pitch. Very uncomfortable experience as she didn’t even suggest more products she just said what I was buying was not enough. Definitely will be buying online through amazon now.
I been a long time customer of GNC for a long time.From Nyc to Okc now Tx..And from all the sales rep.i have came across in your stores Ms.Tina or Terri cant remember her name sorry.She is the best.Shes listen to your needs and tries to help you get the correct product for your money.That location is the only GNC store I go to.
Sorry but the lady I had a brief encounter with the other day was condescending. I also couldnt trust her with the way she talked. I used to work at GNC - theyre crazy sales-focused, and with certain products sold having more commission than others. Not a good vibe.
My Experience At GNC Was A Very Welcoming Ms. Tina was very helpful, polite, respectfulshe was very informative on what I was looking for and very knowledgeable of products when I was asking for recommendations on other products to help me on my fitness journey
So the comments on here about the condescending white woman is true. Went in to get some creatine and asked about certain brands. She stated we only sell elite brands to top athletes. Um ok Im a 51 female new to weight lifting so does GNC not cater to us as well? (Lol). I brush off the comment and ask what the difference between HCL and Monohydrate was and she looked at me and talked to me like I was stupid for not knowing. Very belittling. So to the Karen at the GNA on Josey lane, why are you there if you guys only sell to elite athletes.. 🤔
Tina the Mgr has assisted my needs every single time I need something. Even when Covid has disrupted our lives you can count on this GNC store in Carrollton Tx to help. I first got assistance by TINA WHEN THE STORE AT heritage Trace pkwy in Ft Worth was NO. HELP considering they were my store closest to my home. I now drive fromFTW to Carrollton for my vitamin needs. Thanks for ALL your help TINA kudos for your store
What a shame to see the amount of hatred in these women enough to take their time to post these. Is this a coincidence they are both black? Sounds like racism to me! I took the time to write this post because I have had nothing but great experiences from this GNC since the new lady took over the store. I have a GNC closer to my house but I choose to go there because she is very knowledgeable and has helped me on numerous occasions. I even wait to get her assistance if she is busy with other people. **Very satisfied customer.
So I truly tried to not listen to the previous reviews and give this place a chance. I went in there knowing what I wanted to buy and the lady seemed knowledgeable. The fact that she seemed knowledgeable but wasn’t is agitating to no end. She told me the pre work out that I wanted was full of sugar and I didn’t need it. I believed her but I wish I would have looked at the product myself as it actually contains zero sugar. I learned this from error when I was at a different GNC and he showed me the ingredients to the product and there was no sugar. She was spouting off about religion and being one of the most informed people. It all turned out to be B.S. this is one of the worst issues with franchises, you don’t know if you’re going to one and they could feed you false information like what happened to me and then you get a sense of distrust of the company.
Ive been there twice and the lady some are speaking of was nothing but nice and very informative! The first time I went in was about 2 weeks ago and trust me my husband and I bombarded her with questions, lol. She is indeed very knowledge and after explaining what we were dealing with concerning our health she suggested so many different options that would help us. We even join their program when it was all said and done. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I went in to say thank you because my cholesterol was 132 and I just received my bloodwork and it went down to 102! Now Im sure Im under 100 which was where I needed to be! On top of that I bombarded her again with question and she again suggested what may work for me and I purchased it! At first when we first went in I cringed at the cost because Ive never paid that much for vitamins but on that day it was buy one get one half off and for me it was more than what I was willing to pay but you know what I spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on skincare, makeup, dining out, etc. So why not invest in my health! Im so extremely happy we walk in that day and the manager was there because she help me get on the right track with my health! On Saturday I could not stop thanking her for helping me! I feel great infact amazing! Ive never felt so good in such an extremely long time and ALL of it is from the vitamin routine she help set us up on! This has helped me get on track not only with my health but my weight as well because Im working on that also. Heart disease is the #1 killer for Americans and stroke is right behind it. As Africa American the risk at getting those diseases are higher. There are many health issues that my siblings are dealing with and I want to prevent or at least give myself a fighting chance at a healthy lifestyle and walking in GNC that day has truly changed my life! In my book she gets 5 stars and if I could give more I would! My experience was nothing but pleasant and enjoyable! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
It appears this GNC location does not care for or respect its customers. The clerk did not wear a mask and did not try to social distance from me. This will be the last time I buy from this store until the staff wear masks while waiting on their customers.

Woman who worked here was taking care of an issue on the phone, I guess it was irritating not sure but she took it out on me. Came in on a slow rainy day to buy some vitamin B complex etc, started asking questions about their essential oils and she was short and snappy with me telling me to only open the testers! Lol which I was, I never opened anything that wasn’t a tester and I was trying to BUY them. I was the only person there. Then she saw I had on a DBU sweater and when I approached the counter to pay she said “wow, I’m surprised!” I’m shocked at how twisted and hurtful her comment was. I will NEVER shop here again. She was an older silver haired grouchy condescending white woman. Very very unnecessarily rude 😔
