Great service and assistance! Disappointed because out of all the foundations in the store they couldnt find one to match my pale skin that is a tad on the cool side.

I had my brows waxed by Jessica at the Benefit Brow Bar in Cartersville for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. Jessica is very kind and personable, and she advised me of the best service to get for my brow needs. It was a treat for me to come here, and I felt very comfortable. Thank you Jessica for giving me terrific brows!

Got highlights today by a wonderful lady.. I didn’t catch her name (shame on me) but she was very patient and sweet as can be!! She did a wonderful job on my hair!! Will be going back. My daughter has a appointment on Sunday with the same lady!! I even tipped her $20 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Rita was extremely helpful in the Cartersville store today. She was very friendly and helped me find several products. Especially my MAC lipstick that I had lost a few days ago!!!💄 I wanted to cry when I couldn’t find it on the display, but she looked in the inventory and found it for me. Made my day!!!! Ive been getting my eyebrows done by Jessica here for three years. She is incredible and so nice. Definitely recommend going to the Brow Bar. The people who do the make-up in the Mac section are very nice, too! Did some fabulous prom make-up.

September 2020 darlene refused to cut my hair in a layered bob like the picture i had brought. She burned my scalp 3 times with the hair dryer. All she would say is Ill take care of you dear. I complained to the store manager. I was told no refund was possible but I could get a store credit. Ulta obviously has a reputation of discreet cover up by forcing store credits instead of cash refunds. Btw, I did email the main corporate office with pictures of what I wanted and what I got. No response. Bad experience. Im going to a local salon owned by a individual, not a chain store. And I am going to give the coupon for a free hair cut away. Someone that has not had the same problem as me.

Terrible customer service. They refused to allow me to shop because I didnt have a face mask. Their signage states they ask that customers wear them, but not that they require them. Only a few weeks ago this was not an issue. While Ive been an avid customer, I will no longer shop with Ulta because of their ridiculous policy and inability to accommodate all customers and be respectful of their rights

Worst Ulta experience in my life . My 10 year old son and I were literally followed around and watched then approached multiple times by the aggressive employees . First time the usual annoying “anything I can help you find” . Second time I was told the products out you could not touch just look. The third time I was in MAC section getting my foundation . I let a woman in front of me get her foundation and nobody said anything to her . I reached for my foundation as the other woman did and I got approached again and harassed for the final time . I was told she was “just a greeter” but she was harassing me and telling me I couldn’t touch a thing and only allowed to use an app on my phone to pick out my shade of foundation . I told her that’s not the way it was going to happen and although I understood and respected the policies I told her not to be telling me how to shop and told her to get out if my face and stop following myself and son and to go back to the door and be a greeter not a police for ulta . I broke no laws . I was harassed and followed THE whole time as were other customers . Will not be returning and I’ve shopped her for half my life !

I was taking my daughter to get cosmetics. As we entered the store an employee announced in a loud voice that since we didnt have a mask we had to remain 6ft away from customers and other employees. If a vocal announcement of this is going to become a habit at Ulta then I will have to find somewhere else to buy her cosmetics. In addition to this a single beauty blender was $20.

Nice store with a small section for mens colognes. The rest of the store is blatantly for womens beauty and health products. Prices were a little more than what you can pay online, but you are also paying for convenience and the knowledge that what you are getting is the actual product that you paid for. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Great experience, good store.

Very helpful staff, they escorted me to right to the skin care section I was seeking. When one of the items I was looking for was not on the shelf, the associate offered to check stock in the back for it. The cashier was very friendly and it was overall a pleasant visit.

Well, if ur a real shopper that loves a deal, Ulta is the place to go. If you shop/browse by app, usually, there will be a $3.50 coupon you can apply.

Staff has always been helpful at every other Ulta Ive been to & this store is the exact opposite. Not one sales clerk greeted me or asked if I needed any help when it was clearly obvious that I needed assistance.

The Mac rep - Sheryl was totally awesome!! She very patiently showed me the correct way to apply eyeshadow using lots of colors in the pallet. My husband never comments on my makeup, but over dinner he said your eyeshadow is pretty!! I couldn’t believe it. Sheryl - you rock!! See you soon.

Darlene did an impeccable job on my hair! She took her time and made sure she did it right and Im so grateful for her! She really transformed my look and I would recommend her without second thought to ANYONE looking to get anything done to their hair! She was very polite and knew what she was doing!

Went in looking for a specific product. A staff member noticed I was not able to find it quickly. He inquired if I needed help and then showed me exactly where it was. He was also able to make a quick recommendation about the product I was looking for. Check out went smooth and the woman working was incredibly nice. Ill be back!

This was a big store with lots and lots of name brand beauty products to check out. They have lots of friendly associate on the floor to help your shopping go easy and enjoyable for you. I absolutely love this place!

The people at this location is always so friendly and helpful and they always have great sales so I dont have to pay an arm and a leg for products.

I was visiting from outta town this past weekend and left my Hourglass Foundation stick back home (in the shade ivory). In a hurry, cuz my boyfriend was patiently waiting, I walked in to find a quick dupe. They dont have this brand at Ulta. Right away there was someone there to assist me (sorry didnt get your name or the other ladys either). She suggested the Clinique nude stick and the 1st lady helped me find my shade (abundant alabaster) and pulled the product for me. Thanks to both of you for your wonderful, speedy service and southern hospitality. I hope you both get some well deserved recognition!

Shelby cut and styled my hair today. She was so friendly and highly skilled! As someone who had previously used The Fringe and The Cut Above, I was initially skeptical about The Ulta Salon. I will definitely have Shelby cut and style my hair again!

I love going to ulta! Their always friendly every time I go. 5/21/19 I got my Eyebrows waxed and tinted the lady was nice, however she talked a lot it took an hour and a half to get my eye brows done. This caused her to lose a waiting customer because of it. I looked at myself in the mirror I noticed a burn mark she had left and did not notify me about it. Overall I wasnt very happy when I left..

I have no complaints or concerns. The service at this store is phenomenal. Every single employee I passed asked if I was finding everything ok, and were most helpful when I didnt know exactly what it was that I was looking for looking for, but helped me find it anyway. They went above what I would consider the call of duty, were very helpful the entire time, and didnt seem at all inconvenienced to help me find what I was needing. The store was clean and well lit. Ill be happy to keep spending money at this establishment as long as the service level remains this awesome.

Never been able to get help on the floor when I needed it, but the people at the registers have always been nice. They do not have a stellar stock though. I end up ordering the important stuff that I want to make sure I can get online.

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! Was totally ignored by all staff. I got in line for check out and when it came time for my turn, the girl walked off and let me standing there!!! When she came back like 3 minutes later, she went to another register and just stood there. I finally walked up and said can I pay for this stuff or not? She again ignored me!!!! I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The name on the receipt says Caleb as the cashier, but this was a heavy set blonde for any managers that happen to be reading this!! Also the selection there isn’t nearly as good as other stores. Will NEVER go in Ulta again.

Its ok, expensive unless you catch a really good sale.I am a rewards card holder and have spent $100 for a $3 reward.

Clean store, pretty good stock but didnt have the sunscreen I wanted:( Sales staff were nice. UPDATE The last 2 visits were unpleasant. Staff was inattentive (snobby) and selective when speaking with customers. Will be shopping online in the future. Also-Coupon policy is at the whim of the cashier you get and favors the store and never the customer. I did however use my coupon online. Prestige products included! Disappointed with this particular store!

I went to ulta today for a 12:15 hair appointment and they decided to put a lady in front of me that DIDNT have an appointment. So then they said “oh sorry there’s a delay of 10 mins.” I knew good and well that lady they put in front of me wasn’t going to take 15 minutes. I got up and left. By far the worst place ever. They judge you for looking a certain way too. And always judge you.

Salon is always clean, it is always a privilege to help stylist be their best. I am super proud of all the master stylist at Ulta. You girls are awesome 😊

I walked in and was not greeted which would not have been an issue if ALL the employees working that day didnt stare at me the entire time I was in the store from the moment I walked in. It was completely uncomfortable and I decided to just leave. I felt very singled out like they were worried I was going to steal something. I will most likely NOT be coming back. I would much rather drive to the Kennasaw Ulta where I can shop peacefully and not feel like I cant use the samples to see if I even want the pallets or lipsticks.

The last time I went in, I was stared at the whole time and treated like I had no clue what I was doing or like I was going to steal something. I was just browsing (and planning to buy something) and one of the employees literally followed me around and kept asking if I needed help. I politely told her no several times and she continued to ask me. This has happened to me more than once and is extremely annoying and uncomfortable. I dont need someone standing and looking over my shoulder or following me around. Ill ask for help if I need it

Dont! I went there and spent enough money to get a nice hair cut. Uneven...chopped and just wrong. I am not saying a hair cut that didnt fit my face etc...I am saying cut incorrectly in anyones estimation. I called and was told that the manager was out but would call me the next day...that was October...I am still waiting for the call. Obviously at this point it is moot. Ultas Brand should be much more careful about who they put in there with a pair of scissors. I was told when I called that the hair dresser was no longer there...I said, Why? Because they realized she couldnt actually cut hair? I am sure my response didnt help with the getting things set straight.

My girls favorite place to go shop ! People are always friendly and helpful . Its a clean and fun atmosphere.

Makeup is seperated into the expensive side and the inexpensive side....which I like because I can browse the regular/cheaper priced makeup without worrying something is $30+. The back had the hair, perfume and skin care products.The staff are friendly. They ask if you need help finding anything. In particular, I was looking for the Nyx Eurotrash lipstick and a staff member helped me look for it.I was also looking for an battery cleanser brush and found a few options there. Seemed like the prices were either $25 for a couple options or $50 for a couple options.I got one of the $25 cleanser brushes and the replacement heads. The boxes suggest the brush heads be changed every 3 months.I have had a problem with dry, flakey skin because I wear foundation makeup. I tried the brush last night and my face already feels smoother this morning. Thanks ULTA!

Until this Ultra opened up, I would shop at the Ultra in Kennesaw which was inconvenient. However, I still prefer the Kennesaw location because of the staff at the Cartersville location. I try to only wear cruelty free make-up, and on the occasions that I have asked staff to help me find a product, they always seemed annoyed when I told them I couldn’t buy a specific product that they recommended because it wasn’t cruelty free. On one occasion, I asked a sale representative if they knew of any foundations that were oil control; the sales rep almost dragged me to the MAC counter while I tried to explain to her that I don’t use MAC cosmetic because they’re not cruelty free. The sales rep then continued to push me towards MAC by saying that they only did animal testing in China (where it is required by law). I was already aware of this information, and told the sales rep that I didn’t want to use a brand if they did any animal testing what so ever, after which the sales rep said that she couldn’t help me and walked away. I understand that it’s difficult to recommend products when a customer has limitations like being cruelty free, but the sale team at this location just doesn’t seem to care or respect those limitations at all. Not to mention that the sales reps always seemed annoyed when I knew more about product than they did. If you are going to shop at this location, I suggest that you already have a product in mind when walking in the door because you will not find much help from the sales team unfortunately.

I was at first super excited. I was going to be able to save money in gas by coming here instead of going all the way to Kennesaw or Canton and spend that extra little bit here.Not at all. I dont plan on coming here again.I walk in. Was not greeted. My hair was not done and in a messy ponytail (I do hair for a living and it was my day off. I gave my hair a break that day from the flat iron) and no makeup on (hence why I was there in the first place). I saw they were out of the Shape Tape concealer and needed help. I smile and wave to a redhead who worked there for assistance. What does she do?She looks me up and down with a look of disgust on her face and turns her back on me! Are you kidding me?! One: I dont appreciate being judge by my lack of effort in my appearance. Two: I dont appreciate the fact that she seemed to assume I was window shopping. I planned to have spent almost $100 that visit.Ill stick with Ulta in Kennsaw and Canton from now on.

I am not one to write reviews but i feel this one is much needed. I went into the salon on Saturday 05/26 and had a partial highlight done, 1st of all it took 2.30 hours to get my foils in by that time it was 8:35 and the they were closing at 9:00, the lady doing my hair realized the time and rushed me out the door, she didnt even let the last foils stay in long enough before she washed them out. and told me to come back tomorrow and she would finish. I forgot to mention as she was doing my hair she was digging the comb into my scalp and pulling my hair like you wouldnt believe (and im hard headed). In the process of rinsing my hair she soaked me and then joked about it, said i wouldnt have to take a shower when i get home. I was also suppose to get my hair trimmed and she kept saying come back tomorrow and i will finish you up, i knew i was not going back so i made her cut it. I went up to pay ($110.00) and i guess the look on my face said it all. I was told the salon manager would contact me in the morning, well before i got home she called me and ask me to come back in tomorrow and she would fix me so i did. Darlene the salon manager was great to me when i went back. Well today i called back because im am just not happy with it my scalp hurts and the color is not right. I was kinda talked to a little hateful and was told i only paid for a partial highlight and they done a little more, well you had to do more because it got screwed up. Lesson learned and i still have screwed up hair and i have to go spend more getting it fixed, just becareful.

Walked around the store 3 times before getting anyone to help me. If a man walks in a make up store they probably need help and ignoring them is not cost effective. I went to get a present for my niece and was treated very horrible. I told my wife not to buy anything from ulta because if they dont have time for me than they dont have time for my money.

Came Into the store today for an appointment with Mac. It was amazing, milka was the best. She really took the time make sure I understood and really walked me through the application process. I LOVE the products I got today and cant wait to come back. I learned ALOT. And milka made it feel like I was shoppin with a friend! Great job.
