My experience was top notch today. The doctor was very patient and took time to explain everything to me. I really appreciate that. I was not given a lot of information with no explanation. I left the office a lot calmer than when I went in. Everyone was efficient and patient.

My two children were patients of Dr. Roberts from the time they were two years old and we never had any issues. Then, in May 2019, they both saw Dr. Sara Grace for the first time after Dr. Roberts retired. Dr. Grace wrote prescriptions for their glasses, which I took to an optical shop and had made. Immediately thereafter, my daughter started having headaches and complained that her vision was blurry. I took her elsewhere for a second opinion (an optometrist, not an ophthalmologist), and it turns out the prescription written by Dr. Grace for her left eye was incredibly overcorrected, to the point that it would’ve caused damage if we hadn’t caught it. So I had my son retested with this same optometrist, and sure enough, his left eye prescription was overcorrected too. After having their glasses remade yet again with the correct prescriptions, I called NCEENT in Cary and talked with the Office Manager. She said they’d had no other problems with Dr. Grace and I pointed out their numerous less-than-favorable reviews online. I am seeking to be reimbursed for the bill I had to pay for my daughter’s eye exam in Mary 2019, as well as the cost of the second opinion I solicited for each child. The NCEENT Office Manager in Cary said she would email the Practice Manager on my behalf because she is the only one who can issue reimbursements. She also gave me her name, Melissa Myers, and her phone number. After not hearing from Melissa in the promised one week, I began calling her. She never answered, and I left her message after message. I called the practice to ask for her email address, in case she prefers to communicate that way, but they “didn’t have one they could give me”. I have called Mellisa’s direct number and left messages for her for almost two months, and I know she has been in the office during that timeframe because the receptionist said she had been there. So now Melissa knows I am seeking reimbursement for TWO dangerous misdiagnoses for children, and her professional response to make the situation right is to completely ignore every call and message from me. At this point, due to a lack of response, I am not counting on NCEENT to make the situation right, so I am leaving a review to warn other parents and to help protect the vision of their children. I wouldn’t want this to happen to any other children. Protect your children’s eyes and your wallet and stay away from NCEENT.

I had an eye injury (hockey puck to the eye) and had to have emergency surgery. I called North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat to see if they had an Ophthalmologist available for me to see as a follow-up to make sure surgery went well and there was no further damage. The sooner I was able to get in, the better because of the trauma in the injury. The emergency room in which I had surgery provided very little in the way of follow-up directions. North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat got me in to see Doctor James at 3pm the same afternoon that I called at 12pm! Its very rare to be seen that quickly for a first appointment. However, Dr. James and his staff recognized the urgency of my situation and got me in as soon as possible. Dr. James was very clear and informative and I felt very comfortable during my visit. I have a series of follow-ups to track my recovery process and Dr. James has given me all the confidence in the world that they are on top of making sure I realize a complete recovery. Highly recommend North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat!!

Really happy with the care a received here from Dr. Kevin Hueman. He actually seemed concerned about my ear issue and offered a lot of helpful suggestions. Minus one star for the less-than-helpful office staff. They basically ignored me while I was trying to check in.

Dr. Kevin Hueman was awesome. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He engaged me in pleasant conversation the entire time he was performing the procedure. He was also very gentle. There was no discomfort at all. This was my first time visiting this office and he alone would be the reason I return.

Really like the practitioners (for the most part), but man, waiting an hour for a child’s appointment is a bit over the top. Great people just can’t keep your appointment times so be prepared to wait.

Great service all around. Got an appointment in 2 days. My wait at the office was barely 5 mins. . I wasnt able to complete the forms before I was called to see the doctor. Then the doctor was very pleasant, understanding, and through. So overall, I would recommend this medical office and doctor to anyone.

This was my first visit to the NCEENT Cary, NC office and my first visit with Dr. Novey. This facility is new and quite nice. Check in at the receptionist desk was very efficient and most forms can be filled out online ahead of time. I had to wait maybe 5 min beyond my scheduled appointment time, at most. The eye exam itself was comprehensive and I found Dr. Noveys staff to be friendly and professional. Dr. Novey was on time, attentive, and answered any questions I had. The Optical Center had a large selection of frames and a knowledgeable staff that listened to what I wanted, provided several choices of frames and lenses, and got me set up with a new pair of prescription sunglasses. In all, I was very impressed with this practice and look forward to being a patient there for many years to come. I would certainly recommend the NCEENT-Cary facility to friends and family.

Since NCEENT has been purchased by Duke Health, the fees for eye exams have gone up exponentially. My last annual exam cost $644, including a $255 office outpatient visit which was on top of the doctor and all the tests. They will not tell you the final cost in advance.

Took my 6 year old here today for his annual eye exam. He was rather scared of the eye drops process. The nurse shondra that helped us and did the intake/sight testing was AH-MAZING with my little boy. She got him to stop crying and got the drops in. She was super patient and gentle. Couldnt ask for better care. We didnt have to wait long like last year and everyone was pleasant. Dr. Dolan was a pleasure and answered my questions. Great visit today.

I have been having an issue with my eyes burning and tearing, and had not been able to get a good answer with another doc. I saw Dr. Novey after a recommendation from a friend, and I feel so good about my visit with him. He was able to tell me right off what he thought the problem was, and had four suggestions to help my symptoms. I was very pleased with my visit!

Able to get in when needed, wait time very reasonable, receptionists (especially Laura) are awesome, Dr. Hueman/ENT staff/audiologist are all awesome and the eye care side is good too. Also, it wasnt a nightmare bringing my toddler, she loved playing in the waiting room and everyone was understanding with her.

Absolutely terrible management. Extremely dissatisfied with billing/back office practices and lack of disclosures. Had several conversations around billing practices and sending bill to incorrect address with no resolution. This office previously had a 2 star on google with about 30 reviews and many similar comments (although it appears that theyve deleted their old establishment and created a new one in an attempt to start fresh).Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have been here for over an hour and forty minutes and still waiting for the doctor. The lack of information and no one knowing how much longer is ridiculous. I would suggest finding another doctors office all together. I will not be back.

The office Staff was rude from day one. Second time in for the ENT and I took the day off... they scheduled me for the vision department... wasted day... and a lack of money... then they told me surgery was the only option... but NO ONE could give me the cost or my out of pocket $$... I tried for 3 weeks... then the day of the surgery they wanted $3000.00... I now go to Alamance ENT... GREAT people... professional.

Office staff was rude and inattentive, I would call wait 15 minutes after giving all information and was hung up on, I heard the resever pick up people talk then hung up. Then told to wait another 15 to 20 minutes after I call back ? Phone operates would not even give me a chance to talk without an attitude. This is rediculos and I will be looking for another office even tho the cary office is right down the street from my home. I do not recomend this office at all!😡
