Phenomenal experience from start to finish! The technician was nice and explained all the tests to me. Dr. Badwan took the time to explain to me how to take care of my eyes. I am also terrible at picking my own glasses and Rick helped me through the whole process. I didnt feel rushed at all and he answered all of my questions. Ultimately ended up picking a fabulous pair that really complimented my features.It was a little pricey for my student budget but they accept Care credit which is a huge plus.If you are looking for a place that actually cares about its patients then look no further. Overall, very kind and knowledgeable staff!

I had a great experience at Wake Family. I received the special attention I was hoping for to get a custom tailored prescription that was practical for my needs. Both the tech and Dr Badwan understood my concerns and desired outcome and tweaked my prescription to achieve it. Dr Badwan took the time to prepare test glasses twice and walked around with me to make sure I was content with the results. The tech allowed me to turn down a couple complimentary tests I didnt want without pressuring me, and there was no pressure to buy anything at the end. That said, they have a good deal on frames and lenses that comes with benefits of buying in-house so Ill likely buy my glasses there. The entire staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful and after hearing my great experience, my sister is already interested in going there for her next exam. Highly recommend this place

I switched to this practice about a year ago and am incredibly impressed with Dr. Badwan and his entire team. Dr. Badwan takes time to figure out unique problems as my eye sight was worsening quickly—but, all other doctors were moving the wrong direction with their approach to my contact lenses. He quickly figured out that the problem was that my eyes were actually, at the tender age of 55, getting better significantly due to a number of factors he has seen during COVID while we have stayed glued to computers. That resulted in way too much power and difficulty seeing close up. By dropping my power significantly, he improved both distance and close-up reading at the same time. I strongly recommend that you consider making a switch—you will find a different and caring approach with this practice.

Everyone at this practice was professional and extraordinarily friendly. They really took the time to listen to me and make sure that all of my eye issues were addressed. Angie, the woman who fitted me with new eyeglasses was exceptional.

Very prompt service. I had scheduled appointments for myself and my two girls, one of who is very shy. Everyone was very pleasant and the doctor was fantastic with my girls. The visits were done quickly but with attention to detail. It was also informative, as I learned why my daughter might be more sensitive to light (larger pupils). Also got a referral for vision therapy for my other daughter. Will definitely make this our primary eye doctor.

When I picked up my new $700.00 glasses I asked to have them fitted but was told that they were busy and did not have time?

I had a great experience with Dr. Badwan and the rest of the staff. My visit was speedy, detailed, and everyone I worked with was super friendly and helpful. Dr. Badwan made sure I knew everything pertaining to my health and more. I was able to get multiple tests (the goals of which I was informed of) and learned how to insert and remove contacts within the span of 45 minutes, including the time it took to do the new patient paperwork, and I had a very short waiting period. I will definitely be coming back here for all future eye needs!

I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 and contacts since I was 14. I am now 39 and my eyesight definitely requires a high prescription. I was delighted to as tart going to Wake Family Eye by chance. I googled eye doctors near my house at he time and came across Dr. Badwin. He informed me that my prescription had indeed gone up but that the prior eye care doctor I had seen did not carry my level of prescription to keep costs down. I knew my eyesight had gotten worse and my current prescription was not meeting my needs. I have been very pleased with the professional service from the front desk staff, assistants to the doctors in finding me the best contact type for my eyesight. My eyesight is far better and more clear now with these doctors expertise and care. I highly recommend Wake Family Eye Care. They take care of you and make sure they can assist you the best they can with integrity! I admire the feel of a small town doctors office in the way you are treated as a client and the availability of the best contacts that you may receive at a larger establishment.

I had a fantastic first visit to Wake Family Eye Care this week! All of their staff and office members were personable, helpful and professional. I had a very thorough eye exam. I have worn contacts for 20 years and assumed I was seeing as clearly as possible; however, Dr. Badwan adjusted my prescription considerably, and I am seeing more clearly than I ever have! He was very thorough and patient in explaining the change in prescription to me. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who has recently moved to Cary or who is looking for a change in doctors!

Full disclosure - Dr. Badwan is my brother. But even as his younger sibling, I have to admit he is an excellent eye doctor! He does especially well with children. He prescribed glasses to my 3 year old daughter (his niece), and Dr. Badwan made the experience of getting glasses so delightful for her. Recently, she scratched her lenses, and the office staff was very helpful in getting the lenses replaced - all while we waited in the car. And now that she has to wear a mask and glasses, Dr. Badwan recommended we use an anti-fogger cloth that he conveniently sells in his office - and it actually works! I tell everyone I know to visit Dr. Badwan, and not because he’s my brother, but because he’s the best at eye care.

Started going to Wake Family Eye Care for dry eyes. They have several treatment options, including lasers. They communicate extremely well and offer you appropriate optional treatments. Over the years I had built up a lot of anxiety due to my dry eye syndrome. But both Doctors have been very helpful and Valerie has made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. I definitely recommend them for their knowledge, experience and more importantly, because they treat you like family.

I am so thankful that I find this place!I had an issue with my right eye that bothered me for my last 2 months while I was overseas for a year. There seemed to be something in my eye and it bothered me every time I blinked or closed my eye. I was able to make an appointment here on the same day when I returned to Raleigh.The doctors thought after examination was that I had an allergic reaction to whatever went into my eye, and it created bumps on my eye surface which gave the scratchy feeling in my eye. And she was right!I had no insurance since I had just returned to the US and no insurance/no job yet. She was nice enough to give me a free sample of an eye drop that she thought could fix the issue, and it did!! I am so thankful for everything and was also super happy that I did not have to return for a follow-up visit, and that i could see normally again after 2 months. You guys are amazing!

Doctor Badwan has served our family for over 10 years. We started as new patients, when his office was located in Morrisville, NC. My husband is a diabetic and I suffer from an autoimmune disease, both can have adverse affects on our eyesight.Dr. Badwan encouraged my husband to get his diabetes under control, so it could improve his vision. As a result, my husband no longer needs to wear eyeglasses.Dr Badwan left the Morrisville location to open his own office. Our family continued attending the Morrisville location, even after we moved to Creedmoor NC. However, we were disappointed in the level of service and lack of connection with the doctors.We tried to find Dr Badwans new location for over a year. My family refused to go anywhere else for eye care, until we found him. One day, I saw an article Dr Badwan posted on LinkedIn. Through LinkedIn, we were able to reconnect with him.We now drive 45-50 minutes to his Cary office, because of the level of service and professionalism he and his staff provide. We also appreciate the fact that Dr Badwan makes diversity and inclusion a major focus with both his professional staff and his patients.If you are in need of family eye care, that is over an above your expectations, I recommend you contact Wake Family Eye Care. Wake Family Eye Care has a really friendly and helpful staff! They made sure I was taken care of, and even got me in as a new patient the same week I called. I was seen by Dr. Badwan.
