I am one of the most particular and meticulous persons. My goal was to find the best value and high quality window to replace my deteriorating wood windows. I landed on the Andersen 400 Woodwright (wood painted interior and composite exterior). I was on deployment and my wife used FaceTime so we could talk to Jeff together. Jeff answered all of my questions in depth and gave me many alternative questions. He didnt try to sell me on anything but instead told me what the options were for what my desires/wants were. Window Works recommends a full frame replacement at a value price which is the ONLY way to go because the frame will rot before your window needs replacing. The crew was local, professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves. The best part was that they took the time to demo the product and show me things that needed replacing/repairs before I had a chance to find anything myself (as I said I am very particular). Jeff wouldnt let me pay the complete invoice until the damaged sashes were back in stock and installed (minor dings or scratches on the interior wood that I didnt notice at first). Replacements came quickly and were installed timely. I did a TON of research before landing on a window and a company. Save your time please, go talk to Window Works! They know what they are doing and are the BEST at it. FORGET Pella or Renewal by Andersen, dont waste your money. You can get Andersen Windows and other great products at a great price with Window Works!

We had Window Works replace all of the windows in our home. We had the original low-end builders-grade windows replaced with Anderson 400 Series. Full frame replacement involves a lot of work. In addition to the windows, we also had a 4-panel door installed to replace a set of windows, and a window installed to replace a door, which entailed additional carpentry and finish work. The crew was very professional and I was really pleased with the quality of their work. Its made a huge difference in our home. And the owner Jeff is very easy to work with. I highly recommend, and I plan on using them again to replace our front door.

We purchased 5 Anderson windows and a storm door to enclose our screened porch. Jeff did a wonderful job presenting the various options we could use which made it easy to select just the right products for the job.The installation was outstanding. The installation crew, headed by Will, clearly knew what they were doing. They first had to remove the existing screened in parts and make modifications to the existing wall and doorway to enable the installation of the new windows and door and all the necessary trim to finish the job. This was not an easy task but Will and his team had all the right skills, experience, and attention to detail to do an outstanding job. The result is a completely functional porch consisting of excellent products and excellent installation.Window Works is the company to go to for excellent products and installation.

Before choosing Window Works to replace my windows, I did my homework and looked at multiple manufacturers and installers. I decided on Anderson Windows due to the look of the particular window I wanted and the excellent reputation of the brand. The Window Works bid was competitive for the type of windows we wanted, the staff at the office has been responsive, and the installers were very professional. I can say after observing the installation over the past couple days that this company hires experienced, hard working clean cut people. I would definitely recommend them, and the new windows are great.

Buying windows and doors for my new house through Window Works has been one of the easiest parts of this building process. I went in knowing that I wanted to buy through a company that I could easily call if I had questions, changes, or issues and the guys at Window Works definitely fit this bill. The shopping process was easy, the windows came in very quick, and they offered to hold them until I was ready. I ended up with Anderson E-series windows and I’m very pleased. Great quality! Every phone call has been pleasant, efficient, and to the point, which I appreciate. I have recommended them to everyone through this building process because the windows have been one of the few easy parts of this build thanks to Window Works.

I am completely happy with the work that Window Works has done for me on two occassions: installing a new sliding glass door, and then putting all new windows on the house. We took the budget friendly option on the windows, but even with that, we were assured that they had pages of references and that we would not be disappointed. I got their referral off of NextDoor, from someone who had picked them after doing a lot of research, and I am very happy with the results. On time, work done when said, followed by professional invoice. Top rate all the way!

We drove two hours and thirty minutes to see Jeff @ Window works. The seven errors that he found from the local big-box store quote would have cost us thousands of dollars and yet, he was still kind enough to beat those prices, and direct us towards decisions we had never considered. His extensive knowledge of the products and the companies that he sells for made our visit informative and well worth the time spent driving up from South Carolina. We met his son while there, and they both worked so well together, so that anytime we called we never had to worry about tracking down information. If we could have a company like Window Works in South Carolina, we would be all the better for it. Until then, go see him in North Carolina -- it will make all the difference in your project.

Jeff and team had installed a custom door for one of our neighbors...they had good things to say...so I gave it a shot. My expectations were exceeded on the great job they did installing the door. Had a hard stone surface on the exterior and they blended it in great!

When it was time to replace all of our windows, working with Justin, Jeff, and their team was very easy. We were happy with the quote and the timeline for installation. Unfortunately, some of our windows were an unusual size/frame, but Jeff reordered the correct windows with a rush delivery and made the process seamless for us. Thanks, Window Works!

Window Works Co. Cary, NC (WWC) entire staff is a very professional group providing high end quality manufactured windows and doors at the best market pricing in our regional area. Jeff, Justin and Will definitely delivered as promised on prompt quotations, quality installation service and care of my property, which proved to be hassle-free. Has a home owner and as an unclassified general contractor, I would highly recommend using Window Works Co. to anyone who is wanting to upgrade their windows or doors. From the time we placed our order to the completion of the installation, took just about eight weeks in our case to replace 36 windows and our front entryway storm door. Jeff was very responsive and was always following up to ensure satisfaction. Will and his Installer(s) were very meticulous and did not rush anything. After a long product search, I choose the Andersen 400 Woodwright double hung prefinished wood interior with the Fibrex exterior. Jeff answered all of my questions in depth and provided many alternative questions. He didnt try to sell me on anything but instead educated me what my options were. The entire installation crew was local, professional, showed up on time, and were constantly cleaning up debris generated during the replacement project. Final payment invoice was presented only after the project was completed as agreed. Save yourself a lot time and frustration by talking to Window Works first. No one knows more about windows and doors than Jeff Reif and he gave me the very best price, the first time for my replacement window project.

My wife and I finally decided to replace the windows in our home...yes, all 32 of them! We shopped various window manufacturers and local suppliers, finally settling on Anderson E-Series from Window Works Co. to handle the project. As you can imaging it was a sizable project especially since all the window turned out to be custom sizes. Jeff Reif (owner) and Justin were very knowledgeable and patient with us as we navigated our way to our final choice of window type / stain finish that would best suit our home style and decor. A few months after ordering the windows finally arrived and the day came to begin the tear-out and replacement. Our job went very straightforward thanks to the most professional & skilled craftsmen used by Window Works. Special thanks to each of them (Scott, Will, Mark, Jason & John) as they paid such close attention to detail on each and every window replaced, all while being extremely neat and respectful.Choosing the right window for your home is a big decision and in my opinion only half the equation... Choosing the right supplier of that window is equally important. For us Window Works & Co was the right supplier as they were knowledgeable, patient in working with us throughout the entire project while providing an experienced & highly skilled installation crew. The entire installation took 5-days and now that its done, we love our new windows and recommend Window Works without any hesitation!

Justin and Jeff were terrific to work with. I had some 20+ year old sashes that were showing some wood rot. They came out to measure, gave me a reasonable quote and didnt try to pressure or upsell me. When the window sashes came in, my installer told me they were measured so perfectly that he barely needed to do any adjustments and were the easiest hes ever done. Thanks Justin and Jeff. Ill be back this fall for more and Ill recommend you to anyone who needs new windows or sashes.

Our house is 25 years old and has the original contractor windows. They were falling apart and clearly needed to be replaced, so we began investigating our options. Our decision point was Replacement vs New Construction windows. Having had experience with Andersen Windows at my other home, we decided that Andersen Windows would be used. We were able to check out Andersen Renewal Windows installed at a neighbors house. They were looked pretty good, but there was a lot of plastic showing on the inside of the window. Window Works had demo models of the New Construction windows in their showroom. After comparing the price quoted by another contractor for Andersen Renewal vs Window Works quote for Andersen 400 Series for 19 windows, we picked Window Works. Not only was their price better for new construction windows with brick molding, but reviews, like those noted here in Google were very positive. During the installation of the windows they found a major wood rot problem inside the wall on the front of our house between the 1st and 2nd floor above one of the windows. The wood rot was due to water leaking inside the wall from the original windows. Though this previously unknown problem increased the price of the job, it was a hidden problem that would not have been uncovered had we selected Andersen Renewal Replacement windows. The problems and future repair associated with this wood rot problem could have been dangerous & very costly. The work by the Window Works install team to fix this issue and installation of the windows was top notch. We are very happy with the windows installation, and this year had Window Works come back to install a Therma-Tru front door. They stand behind their work.Highly recommended.

First I would like to say that overall I am pleased with the new door and glad that we replaced our old patio door. I also feel that the guys who did the install behaved professionally, were friendly, worked hard and deserved the tip that they received.. We met with Jeff and asked him to show us options for Anderson products to replace our patio door and side panels. Since they had a busy schedule we returned at the beginning of January to place our order and pay the 50% deposit. We were told that our order would probably there in about 2 weeks but it would likely be about 6 weeks before the install. When paying and signing the contract I scribbled on a few notes that Jeff reviewed. I discussed with him that (I assume like most people) we had an issue in the past of not having work done professionally or needing to have others clean up afterwards and I wanted to be sure there was a clear agreement between us.1. Upon final inspection before the installers left, I noticed that the grills dont match the door and side pieces. When I asked them if that was typical they stated they didnt think they had ever seen that before and they were certain it was never an issue with Anderson doors. They let me know the product I have is Therma-Tru. On viewing the contract I noticed that it says Anderson Windows and has that Anderson logo but under details it also mentions Therma-Tru Fiberglass which when ordering I thought was the type of Anderson door since that was the only brand we discussed. My mistake for not having that clarified but there is no way I would have knowingly ordered a brand that I never heard of before.2. So the Therma-Tru door looks nice and is fine but certainly I cant leave it with grills that dont match. Jeff then told us that the door needs to be painted and within a certain time period in order to not void the warranty. Weather strip and hardware removed and all 6 sides painted order to keep the warranty on the door according to the manufacturer!( If I had known about this I would have at the very least schedule painters to be there the day after the install.3.They added quarter-round molding all the way across under the 2 side pieces and the door. I have never seen a piece like that under a door opening and think it looks odd. (This also needs to be painted)4. Threshold has several pieces in various colors and to me it doesnt look great that way and one part is raw wood and needs to be painted.5. There are black pieces used for threshold and under side pieces. I think it is an odd color to use with such light colors on the home but I think it looks fine for the door threshold but really strange and ugly under side sections.6. Lots of nail holes showing that will need to be filled 7.The flashing was showing under the door and it looked awful. When I told the installers that I really couldn’t accept that they found a nice solution and fixed it.8. They didnt clean the door or glass. NOT a huge deal for me in this case but I certainly feel that it should have been cleaned. If you are ordering windows or doors Id highly suggest that you write CLEAN All on the contract. (BTW, on our first visit we did let Jeff know that one of our next projects was going to be replacing all of the old windows in our home.)9. When we told Jeff that overall we were pleased with the new door but had some issues he just kept telling us how amazing he feels it looks.10.Another HUGE issue is that the following day I found out that I can’t have any blinds or curtains installed on the door for privacy!!! Um, I sure could have used that info prior to ordering- thanks:( Therma-tru states that can void the warranty and that the solution would be to replace the new glass pieces and purchase new glass with the blinds inside! Certainly I don’t want to pay to replace the new glass but even if I did that would still mean I can’t put up my custom made valances !
