I started going here about a year ago, very friendly knowledgeable technicians. The price is very fair, and honestly is a definite with these guys. No up selling, and claiming something is wrong when it isn’t.

New to Texas, I needed a new mechanic for my classic Cadillac so I literally drove around looking for one. The first few gave what I thought were very high estimates. Lucky for me, I found True Auto Sales & Service, where the quote was half that of the others. David and Carmen were outstanding people I knew I could trust. The work done by Shea made my ride smoother than it’s ever been. Without hesitation, I would recommend this place for its fair prices and quality work!

True Auto is a great place. I called them and made an appointment because my brakes were making noisy. David took a ride with me to listen to what I was hearing and then was transparent and honest with the work I needed to fix the issue. Ive lived in Cedar Park since 1999 and have used Dave at True Auto numerous times for my vehicles. Dave and his team each time that I have used them have done what I have asked them to do, on time, honest, and is very competitive in his charges. I trust him to do a good job and am confident that he is not taking advantage of me by doing things that do not require any repair. I have recommended his company to several of my friends and am confident of his service or I would not do so.Just this week, I took a carburetor to him for overhaul and he said it would be Wednesday before he would be able to get to it. He called me about 4 pm that afternoon and told me to come and get it. He said, after taking it apart that it did not need near the work that he thought it would need, repaired a couple of things, made a few adjustments and charged me for only what he did. I was impressed with that. The man is honest, and I like that and I trust him.Randy Read

BEST AUTO SHOP AROUND!I’ve been going to true auto for a while now and these guys are amazing ! Jose is very reasonable with their prices and will tell you what your options are. Great guy! Fantastic technicians there as well! Dustin, ( a technician that works there) has always been a hardworking and honest man, and he’ll get any problems you have with your vehicle out of the way. True auto is a company that never lets you down. I’ve gone to several other places and they either make things worse or couldn’t do anything to fix it at all. But with true auto? David and his staff do an excellent job, while not gouging you on the price. They provided a variety of options for replacing the brakes on our 2015 BMW 750li, each one was less than the dealer with the same OE parts. We come here for any service or replacement on both our BMWs and have never had an issue.

I recently had a complete brake job done on our Ford Explorer Sport. I couldnt have hoped for a better experience. Everyone I met was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and their concern for quality of workmanship was evident. Their labor rates were very competitive and markup on parts low. Overall I rate them as both fair and honest.

After dealing with the high-pressure, sigh-this-blank-document, terrible buying experience at a dealership, I called up True Auto and told them what I was looking for, price range, etc. Dave is very experienced and selective and found a few cars that met our request with good mechanics, and right price. Really great buying experience, no trickery. Having used True Auto for repairs for the past 20 years, I should have just gone there first instead of wasting time at a dealership. Thanks True Auto!

My car started acting really funny (making weird noises) and literally jumped when I got over 55 one day and the lights came on at the same time---check engine, oil light--i pulled over and the car was not driving, it was hopping down the street. Turns out, major oil leak. Went to True Auto the next day (after having it looked at and they were recommended for me to go see first thing in the morning. A Monday---i showed up by 9am...they confirmed major oil leak...and had my car READY AND FIXED by 3pm. NO WAY could I find this anywhere in town. They were the nicest, most helpful, amazing group of people on the planet. Never again will I go ANYWHERE else for a mechanic. They are hands down the best experience I have EVER had related to getting a car fixed. So nice to visit a LOCALLY OWNED small business that is in it to help and build a relationship. They are sensational and I cannot recommend them enough!

I am new to the area and having car issues is one of my biggest dislikes there is. I got a referral from a gentleman in line at Walgreens my tail lights were out and I had no idea where to go. He said True Car he has been going there for 22 years and just bought a car for his daughter from them as they are sales and service. I walked in with no appointment and all were so gracious, polite and took care of me at that moment I had a screw that was stripped so a little more than just changing bulbs. I came to Dave on a recommendation from a friend, I had been quoted over $1200 for my engine mounts and I was just going to have my steering wheel vibration done, but I asked on the off chance and Dave quoted a very reasonable price, so I said go ahead, The work was done, the brakes worked great, the car was again stable and not creaking, when I checked how much it would be over the phone, I was informed that since after examination I only need 2 out of the 4 replaced, they would only charge me half, which is now less than a 1/4 of my original quote. I am very happy with Dave he is very knowledgeable and is very happy to share his tips in keeping your car running well. I will not go anywhere else for any servicing of our 3 family vehicles. I also purchased one of his used cars for my son and we love it, it was a great deal, Dave gave it the once over to make sure all was well. I have 2 more sons, and guess where they will be getting their cars from. All the staff are professional but very friendly. I have to add I live in Brushy Creek Round Rock.

After I failed my diagnostic test at the nearby vehicle inspection station, I went in to True Auto to review if it was a fuse or something worse. Great service! Honest mechanics, worked hard finding the problem and replaced the fuse in less than 10 minutes without charging me even a dime! Ill definitely come back and try the drop off service they have.

I came in because my check engine light was on. I told David I had been to Auto zone and they told me I needed a part. I also told him I had just had my oil changed by his computer down the street. David lifted my hood fooled with a few things about a minute and said their problem solved. No charge. He has had my business every since. He and his team are awesome.

Absolutely awesome guys to do business with. I recently bought a lemon and they have been nothing but helpful in my numerous visits, never nickel and diming me. They are extremely great guys who I have nothing but positive things to say about them. They even gave me a lug nut wrench and jack free of charge when I first bought the car. (Needless to say, it has come in handy!) So glad they are my mechanics and they are the only people I trust with my cars. I have recommended them to numerous people on numerous occasions.

Unprofessional, unethical, incompetent. unbelievable! I purchased a car from these people, took it for repairs after my daughter had a accident. Told the owner to wait on my adjuster but he proceeded to fix the car and then refused to talk to my insurance company. He said he didnt know how to e mail and he tried to text pictures to a landline and had no idea what I was talking about when I said you cant text to a landline. I showed them how to e mail pictures with his phone and he acted like I was an alien from outer space. The owner said he didnt use an e mail address. I still owe on the car that Ive consistently made payments (on time) every month for 2 years! no respect for paying customers. Continually called my husband, who was out of town, instead of talking with me. Cant help but think its because I am a woman. Gave them my phone number 3 times and claimed they still didnt have it. How can you have a facebook page for the company without an e mail address?
