Switched to the TSO in Cedar Park finally after having moved to this area. It was a great experience! Ive very excited to have them as my new eye care facility. From the exam to the glasses buying purchase everything went smooth and was enjoyable.

Only deal with the list below as the rest are narcs and bullies hidding behind the name of TSO.Debbie, Barbie and Dr. Yonkers. Have not had experence with Dr. Murray.

I love TSO, I have gone to multiple optometrist to get my contacts prescription. After multiple failed attempts I was giving up on wearing contacts but I decided to try one more time and I arrived to TSO where the doctor took his time and did his best to have my prescription right. He was making sure that I can see and was able to determine why the other doctors where wrong. Im so happy I can wear contacts and they are so comfortable.

So friendly and knowlegdable. They didn’t pressure us to buy frames. No extra hidden charges. Im very happy with our first visit here and quite sure we will keep visiting this location.

I visited Dr. Yonkers office recently due to eye allergies...my eyes were pretty swollen. I was not able to remember what ointment I had used in the past, all I remember was it had pink on the tube. Dr. Yonker and his assistant, Summer, were very helpful and patient with my request to find the same ointment. He did some research, did not find a pink tube but he recommended an ointment. When I picked up my prescription, it was the same ointment I had used in the past...it wasnt a pink tube, it has a pink ribbon streamer on it. LOL. Im just grateful that this doctor didnt just make any prescription to send me on my way. Thank you Dr. Yonker and Summer for your help! My eyes are much better! Have an awesome day!

Good thorough eye exam. The doctor & staff are very friendly & explained all the tests in detail. I was in and out within 15 mins. They dont push you for extra procedures or to buy glasses from them.

This was my sons first ever eye exam. The staff (front desk and beyond) treated him with so much care and attention. They were awesome with him and put him at ease throughout the visit. I was called a half hour before my appointment to be advised they couldn’t find my insurance. After calling my insurance to get them the correct information I called them back and gave it to them. When I got to the TSO office they still couldn’t find my insurance. I advised the girl to call them to get the info she needed, and she replied that the wait time would be to long. I then told them to cancel my appointment for I was done. This girl needs to be fired for she is to lazy to serve the people and do her job. If TSO would like to give me a number to call I would be happy to speak with them. This was the second TSO I have tried and I have made a decision to not do business with any TSO again.

This is the second year Ive gone here for yearly checkups, staff is fantastic, Ill keep going until they shutdown or I move.

Great Doctor of Optometry. Knowledgeable, personable. Office Team very customer friendly. My appointment was close to noon so one of the office team was out for her lunch break-The young lady who also assists with the optical department and the equipment portion of the exam-(the preliminary stuff) handled the front desk with the incoming patients, the phones, and greeting etc. until the other young lady returned. The Optometrist did my eye photos and measurements himself as his assistant really could not leave her post while flying solo— to perform them at my particular appointment time. There’s a wide range of lenses and eyeglass frames to choose from. They are a little on the high side compared to discount stores but they do have several selections that start at $139 for the frames and they have many options on the lenses so you can get the very highest grade carbon lenses or you can choose something a little less costly. They do take many insurances and they do file them for you so that’s a huge benefit. I’ll be going to pick up my new glasses in about a week and I’ll follow up at that point. If you have any medical issues they also will take you and see you for those and they will bill your insurance on the medical side and they do accept Medicare-.I will clarify but I’m sure that diabetics would be covered under Medicare for their services.To reiterate, Dr Yanker was very personable and took quite a bit of time with me..

Doctor was amazing Kinna apparently a tech was rude to my daughter during the “exam” communicated to her as if she was speaking to an adult and instructing her in a way I couldn’t even make sense out of. She kept sighing as if she was frustrated w my child I just felt like someone else should’ve taken the time to complete the exam.Super disappointed as a returning patient this wasn’t the experience I expected.My daughter left feeling like a burden and was even told if she couldn’t keep her head still she was going to get drops in her eyes that would burn her eyes- way to make a kid wanna take care of their eyes.Dr. Yonker was still awesome tho luckily.

This place is great! It feels more technologically up to date than other optometrists I’ve been to, and Dr. Yonker really takes his time to ensure he’s getting your prescription correct! I also bought glasses here and they have a great selection!

I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of the exam. The optometrist Dr. Yonkers spent an extraordinary amount of time with me; testing, tweaking and tuning my aging eyes.The result was a prescription that gave me the best vision Ive ever had in my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but Ive been wearing contacts and glasses for over 40 years and always had a fishbowl effect regardless of the prescription.For the first time in my life I am able to see with perfect depth of field both near and far, and without any optical artifacts. They also restored an old expensive pair of Ray Ban glasses for me. They look brand new. Finally, the entire office is a relaxed friendly atmosphere.My only critique is the lighting. Im surprised that an optometrist is not using high CRI LED lighting, which makes everything appear more vivid and sharp.

First visit was great. Exam went as expected, Dr Yonkers was very nice and professional. But today I went to pick up my glasses.. My work hours are them same as theirs so I asked my work if I could leave a little early to get their before 6. Traffic was a little heavier than expected due to construction so I was running behind. I called five minutes before my arrival time to let them know I was coming to pick up my glasses. I pull up right front of the door at 6:00. I immediately see them flick the lights off as Im walking I up to the door and I run up to try the door and its locked. Not cool... You could have told me on the phone five minutes before that it was too late.

The staff is amazing. Dr. Yonker is incredibly thorough. He has a perfect way of dealing with patients. He is laid back and calm, yet very thorough. He explains what he is doing and gives the right amount of information so you understand what is going on with your eyes, without overwhelming you. This was my favorite eye exam I have received.

Dr. Yonker and his staff are great. His staff is very helpful and courteous. Dr. Yonker is professional and caring. He identified my glaucoma. The prescriptions for glasses and contacts were just right. Then when I had cataract surgery and only the right eye was completed, before COVID 19, shut down the surgery center, he worked with me to reach the best solution for the best vision until surgery on my right eye could be completed. And his caring approach for the follow-up after cataract surgery has been so very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Yonker for your eye care.

I havent received my frames yet and I didnt get an eye exam here but the office team here is amazing! After five minutes of trying on frames, this office felt like a family! Everyone is so nice: Khina, Autumn, Sierra and Kevin (sorry if I spelled names wrong). During my purchase of frames the staff went above and beyond to explain everything, show examples and give valuable opinions and feedback. They also worked everything out very well with my insurance and payment. I am recommending this location due to their outstanding service, Ive a new little eye care family now and will always use this location as long as Im in the Austin area

Not sure how anyone can give this place and its staff less than 5 stars. Dr. Yonker is great! In my 10 years of getting exams Ive never been so informed! He gave me a huge selection of contacts to choose from. He also told me how certain lenses work better than others. They gave me a great deal on a set of Costa glasses. Ive definitely found my go to place for exams and glasses. The ladies in the front were very helpful, everything went smoothly and rather quick. If your looking for a place with a great prices and selections, TSO Cedar Park is the place.

Dr York is very knowledgeable about your eyes. I appreciate the way he discusses his eyes during the discussing my eyes. He knows history and the latest about how the eyes functions and parts. I don’t feel rushed once in Dr York’s exam room. He takes time to explain photos, using the optometry equipment, and also additional lenses to check your vision.Thanks to you Dr York.

Let me start off by saying, I was being charged exactly DOUBLE by a competitor and didnt even know it. I had a slight suspicion that my bill was a little higher than it should be. I took it to TSO And they put all of the products and services I had purchased from their competitor into their system and lo and behold I was being double charged.I got a refund from the competitor and have been a TSO fan ever since. Ive compared prices multiple times since then and the results are always the same.Excellent product and service for much less than everyone else around here.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Yonkers at TSO in Cedar Park since we moved to Leander in 2012. He had just opened his office just before our first visit. We have both been very pleased with his personal attention to our vision needs. His staff is awesome as well.

Decided it was time for something better than off-the-rack readers, especially for extra detail while driving at night. Visited this new TSO in Cedar Park, near my daughters home. It was an excellent experience all around. The eye doctor was incredibly thorough -- I have a slight astigmatism in addition to old eyes -- and patient as we worked through a battery of examination procedures, explaining every technology and its purpose. The frame selection is beyond extensive. I found some wide enough and with a large enough lens area to fit my fat head and serve well for reading and general vision. Theyre light (titanium, I think) and unobtrusive. Was so impressed with the place I eventually treated myself to the best sunglasses Ive ever owned too. Would heartily recommend to anyone -- long-time wearer or relative newbie, like me.

Dr. Yonkers was great, to begin with. On the examination alone it would be a 5/5. However, the process is overwhelmingly flawed. First, I had to wait 30 minutes past my appointed time. Apparently he was overbooked and understaffed. Then, when I received notice that my glasses were ready that Friday at three, I got there at 4:05, walked up to the receptionist and she told me theyre closed. I told her Im just here to pick up my glasses. She just shrugged her shoulders and said again, more emphatically, were closed, come back Monday. Shes just sitting there idling, but fair enough, their operating hours does say until 4pm. So Im here Monday, doors are locked with a sign, sorry, were closed until Tuesday for training purposes. I cant help but feel trolled for my time. I hope the training was for the receptionist.

Dr Yonkers diagnosis is always careful, considered and well communicated. Furthermore, he follows up to ensure accuracy by keeping in touch with his clients. The office is a well-run operation as evidenced by the extremely professional treatment by all the staff - Crystal and Carla to name a few.

Thought I needed new glasses, couldnt see close up or far distance. Nope the Doctor and Technician found the answer after an excellent exam. My glasses needed to be adjusted to sit properly closer higher up to my eyes and now I see like I did before. Will go back when I need new lenses.
