I went in today to purchase the #3 welding pony kit that they have had a display for at least 8 months with price boldly stated @419.99. Me having spent over $8,500 in the last 2 months at this location purchasing Hobart welding equipment, tanks, consumables, steel, tools and other items since it is almost nextdoor to my shop. I have looked at this big display for the welding pony setup at least twice a week for the last 6 months. I went to purchase 1 today along with $300 in other items when they tell me the price for the equipment is $999.99. NOT WHAT THE DISPLAY HAS ADVERTISED FOR OVER 6 MONTHS WHICH IS $419.99. They said I Can not discount it even thou the price and display says $419.99. So i left without purchasing anything and I am now boxing back up the $1099.99 air compressor i bought 3 days ago to return to this location with my receipt which they better honor. Tomorrow Im going to box up my Hobart Handler 210 welder i bought there 3 weeks ago to return to them and I will take that money elsewhere to purchase my welding equipment. As well as probably not go back for even the smallest item ever again due to the worst customer service and price gouging i have ever seen 1st hand. Ive places multiple orders with this establishment only to have them all cancelled. Gave them one last shot as they are literally the only store with this item in stock. Scheduled a pickup for today only to receive an email stating my order was cancelled! Cannot say that I will be giving any Tractor Supply stores our business ever again. This isnt the first TSC to do this, should still to ACE or any other store who isnt them!

Inside they have a price for a welder at $3,099. I waited a couple weeks for my new bank card to come in so I could purchase the welder, I come back and the same price is still up. I go to ask somebody for help on how to purchase the welder and he told me he didn’t have any in stock, so I asked if I could purchase it today and pick it up at a later date and he said that wouldn’t be an issue. He brings me over to a computer pulls up the price and it is listed 200 more dollars than the listed price. He told me he wouldn’t honor it because he’d have to get a new welder in and by then he would have changed it to the price on the computer. He told me there would be free shipping to the store, so I decided to buy it anyways. Apparently there was not free shipping, 150 dollars more for shipping, so I left. A 3100 dollar item went up to 3500 not including tax.

Super nice staff; literally every one I encountered spoke to me. Thats solid management and I appreciate it! Its well-stocked, but not quite as much so as their larger stores. Love having it close to home.

This location is useless. I went to the store on 5/15 at 5:30pm and there was not a single person helping anyone. I needed to locate a product and I was gestured in the general direction of where the product was located with no further guidance. The website said they had inventory but nothing was available in-store. Since I couldnt find the product, and no one could help me, I placed an online pickup order for the same day. Had to wait until the next day to get a notification that my order was cancelled. I went to the location in Hutto the next day and it was a 180 experience at that location. I dont know whats going on at this location but management needs to get on the ball, this place sucks for customer service.

Usually, I love this place but warning, DON’T buy your baby chicks from here! We bought four chicks, at two different times, labeled Leghorn (a hardy egg layer) and found out later that we were sold Cornish hens (meat chicken to be harvested by 5 weeks). Three have died and we have one left, who turns out to be a rooster. I also bought two americanas (egg layers) who turned out to be ornamental Polish chickens (not really egg layers and kinda jerks). Nobody who worked at TSC could tell me anything about the chicks so we just went by the labeled bin. There was no bin labeled Cornish hen/meat chicken or Polish/ornamental chicken so either the supplier or recipient was incompetent. Either way, my kids were devastated each time one bird died. Completely avoidable.

Masks aren’t mandatory, to customers or staff. Social distancing isn’t one of their concerns at all. Helpful people, well kept work space but not making it mandatory for everyone to wear masks is stupid and unhealthy.

Great place to get about anything you need for mowers, maintaining a property and more. They had just what I needed. I needed a blade lock to hold a blade in place while you remove it. Sure a block of wood works but this was the safer option. If you need blades they have a huge selection.

Almost always has what I need at great prices and no long lines, important when you are a senior in Covid times.

I have always thought this place was a little pricey on some of their merchandise and maybe so, but having a respectful and knowledgeable staff goes a long way with me for a few extra pennies, overall I find their employees to be at least courteous if not always helpful. Lately, I have been most impressed by the depth and variety of hardware they have available. It is like the hardware store of old that actually has what you were looking for instead of the run of the mill wood screws and common stuff you get in a home depot or wal-mart. Even a whole section with automotive specialty items. My new go to first place for locating anything to do with hardware items.

Ive always experienced great customer service at this location. Today, Michelle helped us locate the cattle panels and posts we needed, and Bill helped us load them up. They taught us how to bend the 16 panels to fit in the truck bed so that we didnt need to cut them. Wish I had learned that little trick 20+ years ago, but better late than never 😉

Good place to get ag, farm and pet products not available in traditional big box or pet stores. Also carry a wide range of other things you never knew you needed. Even have chicks and ducklings. Very interesting place to visit.

Purchased my 1500 gallon water tank from here. The 3 layer design works fine, water is cooler, more durable against elements. Price was comparable to lesser quality at Tank Depot and other competitors.Two minor complaints. Spent a fair amount of money, and being a frugal shopper asked for use of rental trailer for one hour ($14.00 for half day). Manager said no free rental. Lack of diplomacy.No problem. Rented trailer, it was not in great shape. Right tail light out, hole in the gate mesh with sharp Rusty edges, the lift was not functioning and bent, and the trailer was filthy. Took it to the car wash before using it and returned it much cleaner.Employees are friendly and helpful within their range of knowledge.

Yall I came here from south Austin to get a 16ft gate and they gave me the wrong one at first I called to get the right one bc they left didnt even help just gave me the product and left. I had to re call them to get the right one I was going to explain and DYLON said I know what you want without letting us explain anything then he brought me a different one I told them it was not that one and he said its the same price so its that one. Seriously?? Update your pictures if its not gonna be the same gate or at least explain before making someone go. Last time Im buying from there.

All of the TSC stores I have been in, are employed with helpful and friendly people. There is a lot of cool stuff and some things that I have not found other places. Maybe I am not looking hard enough or maybe they just have it and others do not. I prefer a place where the people make a difference. Now the negative. The sell chickens. Little baby chicks. So cute (I will add potentially tasty). I cannot take my daughter because inevitably she will try to talk me into buying a chicken. She does not understand that the HOA says No Chickens.

Looked like they had 2 registers open. Walked up behind the lady that was talking to cashier. When that lady left I walked up to put my stuff on the counter and the cashier asks me if I need help with something. Told her I was wanting to check out and she told me I needed to go to the other linr which had 6 people already waiting. I had no problem waiting but right when I went to other line the cashier went and sat down. 4 employees that I saw were not helping anyone. I would think employees would care more about their customers.

Bummed out... drove from pflugerville to cedar park on toll... to pick up an item onlie said was in stock.. when i got here apparently there was non... ask for help from service rep who was rude. I asked for a possible discount on a similar item for time and gas and not leave empty hand or having to travel to another tractor.. Disappointed in Tractor Supply... so much for satisfaction guaranteed on the side of the building.

I always go in here for chicken food and mealworms. But I love looking at all the other stuff they have. They have outdoor decorations, baby chicks, jewelry, clothes and much more.

The cashiers here are always helpful and engaging. Hard to find cashiers with personality sometimes, especially at a store like this. The staff here make me want to always come here rather than other big box retailers - just for the small town hardware store experience, if nothing else. And the prices are comparable, if not even less expensive. Definitely recommend TSC.

I ordered an item online and it was not available in the store even though the website said it was in stock it was not. The staff were very helpful assisting me in voiding the online order as well as showing me alternatives. I ended up buying something else that suited my purpose just fine. Everyone was helpful and happy to help!

The Carthart t shirts were supposed to to 2 for $25.00 like the sign said. When we went to pay for everything, since 1 t shirt was a tall it wasn’t included in the 2 for $25.00. Why were they placed all together with the sign above them?

I was trying to squirrel-proof some blackberry plants I was about to plant on my patio. I believe the same employee helped me over the phone and in the store. I dont remember his name though. He was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.Ive been here a few other times, and locations in other cities while camping also. Ive always had good help. Dog friendly also. 🐕

I always love coming in here. Everything is priced reasonably, they have a great selection and the chicks we pickup from there usually are in good health. It seems like a well managed store and the employees are always friendly.

Had a great experience as soon as we walked in a man came and helped us. We were getting propane for the first time and the gentleman who helped us was personable friendly and gave us some tips. I am really glad I went here there price for propane was excellent. At checkout the lady was efficient when the woman in front was having a price issue instead of me waiting for that she moved me to the next register to quickly check me out.

I was dealt with the rudest customer service over the phone to handle and online order I needed to cancel. The whole process was chaos. Why do you send out emails to let customers know an item is in the facility, if in fact the item has a high probability of not being delivered yet? When asking for a refund they wanted me to come back into the store, which is out of my way, to make sure the item is in fact in the store to then have them refund my money?? Their customer care hotline fixed the issue in less than a minute without me having to go into the store. I would not recommend this store for anything.

I love this place. I have always loved hardware stores and farm stores, and this is a combination of both. As in most such establishments, everyone who works there is helpful. They take you to what you are looking for -- never point or say down aisle 3 and to the left. They problem solve with you.The assortment of goods is amazing but organized. There are live newly hatched baby chickens. And straw for the doghouse. And all kinds of gardening potions and equiipment. And dog food geared to working herding dogs that no pet store carries. And of course hardware. Go. Youll love it.

Good bird food selection. Every time we go only one cashier working. Line was 8 people long. Someone finally asked the cashier if she couldnt get help, just expect to wait in line. If I could find comparable bird food somewhere else I would stop going.

Tractor Supply in Leander had what I needed and they are always helpful and friendly any time I go in.

I really like tractor supply. Im just a home owner with a duplex. I was buying rat bait as they stock it in bigger sizes than Lowes and home Depot. Seems like a great place for small ranchers as they have a good supply of trailer supplies, horse, chicks, welding, and misc lots of stuff.

The great thing about living in Texas, is that I can find a Tractor Supply Company just a short drive away from my city-slicker home in Austin. Youd be amazed at how useful this place is for urban gardeners, chicken farmers, and more. I come here for cattle fencing, which I bend and manipulate in my garden to support various plants. Friendly staff and a huge selection - think Tractor Supply before you think of the big orange box store.

Never have feed on the shelves. Always in the back. Can’t get anyone to wait on you. Takes 30 minutes to get product even when it’s not crowded. Horrible

Came in to purchase a Hog Panel. Good panel for the money. The store had no one waiting in line. Now the service: it was anounced that help was needed out at the panels (they have to unlock them). 20 minutes later i walk back inside to get help. It was announced that help was needed out at the panels. 10 minutes later, or more, i called the store and asked for help. Someone finally came out. Over 30 minutes since i paid for the panel. Worst customer service in years.

I love this place. I get all my field fencing needs there. Repair parts. Dog food. Great casual atmosphere. I am thankful that I have one close by.

Now these are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.Every employee has a great attitude and will go out of there way to help you.Lots of different items for sale from tools, .clothes,, .trees.propane,you name it.They even have a veterinarian come in on the weekend to give dogs and cats their shots.This is a awesome money and time saver because .you just pay for the rabies shot and thats it.If you go to the vets office for a rabies shot you pay for the appointment,the exam,and the shot.Instead of 10 bucks its costing you close to two hundred..If you have never been in this store stop by and check it out.Its a little bit country..

People are friendly and I can usually get help pretty quickly. The problem is that I only go there for dog food and 90% of the time theyre out of what I want, and the other 10% its not on the shelf. I have to go find someone to go to the back and get it. Yesterday they were completely out of all the Diamond Natural types of food, but theyve got plenty of the Purina junk.Id give 5 stars if I could just get my dang dog food off the shelf when I go in...**edit** I think they’ve listened!
