I have been with CubeSmart off and on for years now . The units are clean never have had any issue with my belongs and know my stuff is safe in here . The staff Ray and Trevor very knowledgeable, cheerful, polite, helpful and always makes me and my family feel welcome. Thank you for making my stressful move very easy .

Reserved a Penske truck and picked it up here. Super fast and convenient to get!! Please be aware that the furniture blankets may not be available due to a shortage, we were able to get some but there was only one set.

Frustrated that the exit gate was not turned on for the entire time I had my stuff in storage. Five months I kept trying to use the exit gate, but I would pull up and the panel was blank. Other than that, friendly service and helpful.

I work with i9 sports and the concrete paving needs to be a lot better, I have to fix my car because of this.

This place charges $550 for a 10x8x20 that has no lights, at all. In or outside the unit. Pitch black out there. The worst driveway area Ive ever seen. Will mess your vehicle up. Def. Not worth it.

After having my reservation for three weeks, I arrive to pick up my truck only to find out they did not have a car carrier that was on my reservation. The clerk asked, Nobody called you? We havent had car carriers here for months! He arranges for me to drive downtown, 19 miles, the following day to pick one up. Once we get to the truck, its filthy, hadnt been swept out, and the check engine light came on within 5 miles. I asked about the furniture dolly I reserved and once again, they hadnt had them in months. I dont know how an authorized dealer of Penske can be allowed to operate this way. Maybe if the employees left from behind the desk and actually worked for their pay, other customers wouldnt have the same experience!

I have had multiple wondeful experiences with this crew. Ray and Larry went above and beyond to take care of me. When I first came in they helped with a much needed fast move then when I needed my broken lock fixed and one last time when I needed help on my moving out. I have and will continue to recommend this site and company to anyone I know. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Storage space was clean and ready when I arrived and most importantly Ray was GREAT to work with. I could tell he was smiling from the time we were on the phone to when I saw him in person and there was the same big smile behind the glass. I will go to him and his place for all my storage needs and will recommend him to all my friends and family.

This place hasnt received any type of upkeep in many years it appears. There is weeds growing out of the road pretty much everywhere that are well over 6 ft tall. anytime after dark I I must bring a flashlight because all of the lights are either broken or flickering

She called us back after reserving a unit online and offered multiple times to meet and walk the unit to ensure it would be the best fit for our needs. She continued to follow up with us to make sure we had a great experience. Very personable and friendly. This location has a great staff! Units are clean and easy to navigate. I would recommend reserving online, as those prices are a little bit better than the promotions they can offer in store. Would highly recommend this location!

**Edit: we ended up agreeing that I would pay the extra month and be done. 6 months after, they tried to take me to court for nonpayment! Even though I always paid on time and I even paid for that extra month... it ended up costing me hundreds of dollars, hours and hours of my time to get this settled, and working with multiple agencies to get this FALSIFIED attack off my record.**The storage unit itself was okay. I felt pretty secure leaving my belongings there. Reasonably priced compared to other locations. But I guess you get what you pay for.HELL IN A HAND BASKET when it comes to functioning. They changed the times of operation without telling me, and I had just moved back to CO and my keys were in the unit (I had to rent a hotel to stay at that night.) ... They billed me for an extra month, even after I had notified them to end my contract. Then, they refused to work with me, and fought me every step of the way. They insisted that I had to fill out a certain form, even though I was told that simply emailing would take care of it. I am very very disappointed in this company and I will be ACTIVELY advocating for people to avoid this storage rental.

Decent experience, been here for over a year no interaction with staff. Prices creep up quickly to the point as to where it’s no longer a value for what I’m storing. This latest price jump made me leave, overall good facility, clean, nice area never worried about belongings.

I wanted to post a shout-out comment for my experience w/ the Smoky Hill CubeSmart storage location. While I didnt end up renting with them since I ended up not needing a unit, my experience (across investigation, asking for info, reserving, and ultimately canceling) via phone (from overseas) was excellent. I had good communication with the call center, and my follow-up conversation w/ Ray was very informative. Ray displayed excellent customer service in listening to what I needed compared to the available inventory on what would work best. In the future I would consider this location if I need a storage unit.

It goes like this Myself and a roommate had a unit here for approximately 8 months. After 4 months I relocated out of state and turned the unit over to my roommate. After speaking with the counter person I was instructed to complete the necessary documents in order to be released of any future liability. The counter person was very helpful, as I was in the process of moving out of state that very same day. I was assured this was all I needed to do in order to be released of any liability. As a good measure I called a few days later to confirm everything was good and was told everything had been taken care of. 4 months later I get a certified letter stating they were going to file suit against me, due to unpaid charges (keep in mind I had no calls, no letters, no notices at all prior to this). Obviously I was shocked they were trying to sue me! I called immediately, and found out the business had sold to a new management company and the new owners would not be honoring the release given by previous. Though I was disappointed I understood. After talking to the counter person I was told I would need to talk the manager Michele to resolve the issue. I had no idea what I was in for. After calling repeatedly I finally got a hold of Michele, and she was the complete opposite from the her employees. Michelle was an absolute customer service nightmare, argumentative, rude, and 100% disrespectful. All I wanted to do was apologize for my roommate who had not been paying and resolve the issue. Michelle stated she would prefer if the unit were not paid up to date and the belongings in the unit could be sold at auction. WOW! I explained to her that would not be necessary as I would take full responsibility for any fees and get the belongs removed asap. After sending certified funds overnight my 75 year old uncle showed up to clean out the unit. Michelle proceeded to yell, scream, and shout everything but obscenities at him. Who does this to a 75 year old man? I have a small business myself, so I do understand how these situations can happen. However, customers should never be talked to this way, let alone a 75 year old veteran! Never again would I do business here!!

I got to the storage unit with my 16ft uhaul, and 4 friends to help. As I arrived, Ray (property manager) was about to leave, but the code I was issued for access to the property wouldn’t work. I was made to feel like I was an annoyance because the code THEY gave me didn’t work. Ray was very agitated that he had to get out of his car and accompany me back inside to verify I wasn’t doing something wrong. The customer service was not amazing or anything to boast about. It was quite the opposite. Had I know before hand this was the type of service I would have, I wouldn’t have rented this place.

Ray (manager) was absolutely awesome. He was very helpful, as well as being very friendly and accommodating. This is my first storage unit experience, and it was great.

Richard was very informative, kind, and understanding. His customer service was great and I would recommend this company to anyone needing storage!

I have had a unit rented here for almost a year. Facility is near Smokey Hill and Liverpool in Aurora. Easy access, however you can not enter after 8:00pm until early morning. Older facility. I found that my unit has developed a leak in the roof. It is not temperature controlled.

I signed up online at 10 on a Saturday, got a call at 10:30 and had a space by 1 p.m. This is the only place nearby that was open on Saturday. Nice storage space. The staff were all friendly and personable.

I should have read the lease before hitting next. The fat guy said if I had the renters insurance policy with me when I rented the unit he would not have charged me for their insurance, if he had told me that before whisking thru the agreement I would have provided the declaration page. Shady practice. And all of this is after I told him what one of his competitors tried to scam from me and he made this big speech about how he tells his people to just be up front with the customer from the beginning, it’s a better way of doing things, he is a dam liar and a cheat. I will not rent from them again and I will not recommend them to anyone.

This was a great experience for my family. We didn’t know what to expect but they showed us great respect and helped us to get things done. The staff was great, friendly, and most of all respectful.

CubeSmart off Smokey Hill Road had great service and we are very pleased so far. We had a pre appointment call and were greeted by Ray who took care of us from the start. We were showed a unit, found supplies, and could move in right away. Ray took time to clean the unit and walk us through the whole process. As a first time storage unit renter, we feel great about this choice.

I moved all items out of storage and there was water damage within my unit. My mattress and box-spring had black mold and was ruined. The office was unhelpful and gave me an 800 number for Great American insurance . Im still waiting to hear about my claim. Extremely frustrated and unhappy.

Whoever wrote their legal documents is a hack, they have the same paragraph for accepting auto payment and declining it in their contract and a lot of blurred lines on their wording. I have also seen multiple cars enter after 1 scan multiple times. They just raised the rates for no reason other than that their facility was now fully occupied. Its close and convenient but thats about it, looking at other options.

I have my items at Neighborhood Self Storage on Smoky Hill Road and I cannot say enough about the staff. I stood in line while some woman absolutely berated an employee and then the manager Michelle. For 45 minutes this when on all the while Michelle was calm and courteous. Finally this woman was finished her temper tantrum and stormed out in a huff. The staff was visibly upset at the horrible things that were said to them, but they thanked me for my patience and helped me with great ease and professionalism. My business is staying with this company!!

Staff was short with us and we didnt get the stuff we had ordered. Was not a very pleasant experience with our move. Penske messed up as well.

We needed storage for our overflow from an interstate move - the staff were helpful, quick and efficient. The only issue we have is thy don’t pro-rate when you move out early so we paid for a month we didn’t need.
