Service department is the worst. Phone rings all day w/no answer or u get a voice mail. After leaving several measages & no one getting back to you at all. I finally talked to some one on a monday. The soonest i was able to get a hold of them again was on thursday after numerous calls & msgs once again.... (4 days later) Really?? Please check & respond to the voice mail messages or hire more people in your service department. It is absolutely horrible!!!
Worst service ever. The only thing they know how to do is take your money. I took my vehicle to get fix and they left it worst. They told me it was the turbo that I paid 5k for and it wasn’t even that it was a engine cylinder. The employee JOE worst employee I don’t know how he even had a job in vehicle service if he doesn’t even know what he is doing. That JOE guy said my engine had gone out and wanted to change me 10k when it was just a cylinder that cost me 2k to fix elsewhere. This dealer rips people. I have to give a start but it actually deserves 0 stars. Pls don’t go and get your car checked or service here. I definitely do not recommend.
My wife and I brought our Range Rover sport for service a few n giving you updates for your vehicle. You call service, and can never get thru, just a random voice mail box that never gets checked. Believe me, I did leave a message. I have given the place benefit of doubt that the service writers were having an off day. So we tried going there again. Our last service they had a problem with a tire (which wasnt there fault) but didnt call me. I tried calling, again, no answer, just a random voice mail box. So I drove there to see what was going on. The service writer told me to he was going to check on it. He walks into the mechanics bay and comes out, walks right past me ignoring me. 20 min later the service manager comes out to explain what was going on. Really????? Service writer cant just give a simple update???? Just a simple heads up on whats going on???? You have to get the manager to talk to me????? Ill give props to the service manager, he actually gave me updates on what was going on. But the service writers are the worst Ive ever dealt with. This place is horrible... Were going to drive 20 miles farther and hopefully have better service than here....
Simple warning if you want to lease or buy a Land Rover from this dealership dont! I talked to the sales team about buying a new defender and the 1st thing they tried to do was up charge me $15000 on a $50000 vehicle. I have talked to over a dozen land rover dealerships and not one has tried to rip me off like this place. There is a chip shortage but you dont try to screw over your clients like this place. If you want to get ripped off and pay 15 to 20 grand over what a car is worth this is the place for you.
I recently leased a car from Land Rover Cerritos and had a great experience. I knew what car I wanted when I got there, so with that in mind the whole process took about 2 hours which I very much appreciated. I worked with Tibo specifically, who was extremely helpful and friendly - he made the leasing experience super smooth and easy. Finance was also great to work with. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, it was hectic. Sean spotted us and told us he would be right with us. After looking around we found the car we wanted by that time Sean came back to us and asked us to join him in his office. Sean asked what is was that I wanted in a car and showed me to the vehicle which had it all. Sean knew exactly what they had and didnt have off the top of his head. I want to say everything went smoothly but I was indecisive. I had originally been interested in a Q7 or Q8 but after speaking with him and checking out the Velar my mind was changed. Then the deal was made and I had a new car.If you want someone knowledgeable, friendly, energetic. Look for Sean hell probably be busy with someone else at the moment but hes worth the wait!
Make no mistake, I received excellent customer service at the Land Rover Dealership service department. The advisors were wonderful and friendly. Also, I received excellent service from Jim; one of the advisors! He walked me through the issues I was experiencing and helped facilitate a visit to the dealership to get an immediate issue resolved. I’d purchased a Land Rover vehicle from a non Land Rover dealership and was already experiencing issues. Jim coordinated my vehicle being looked at and serviced speedily, which was incredible! My vehicle is still experiencing issues not due to the service department but due to the fact that the dealership I bought it for did not sell me the vehicle in the condition that they advertised. So I will be calling back again for further instruction.I only have one tiny observation which takes my rating from a 5 to a 4.85 approximately. That is, on the first day I came to the dealership there was someone who worked in parts smoking a cigarette. I had my window rolled down and asked him if he smelled smoke before I realized it was him smoking while inspecting another vehicle. When my car was returned to me after excellent and prompt service I did faintly smell smoke. As a non smoker I am very sensitive to this type of thing and smoke also agitates a condition I have...Of course this is not a reflection on the overall service I received. I cant say enough about this particular Land Rover/ Jaguar delaer in Cerritos.First off, Suren aka Sean who was my sales guy and Michelle at Finance were both really straight forward and welcoming.Second, this dealer in particular does not look to rip people off and the reason why I say that is that realistically most dealers these days do and its rare to find one like this one that doesnt. Their used cars are well priced and they work with you on financing terms. Their new cars have good rebates that save you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Major electrical failure with Jaguar I pace in an otherwise wonderful vehicle. Primary difficulty was support on phone assist and with jaguar call one for service which were not practically helpful or understanding the gravity of my problem. Unable to get rapid appt, I called a private tow and contacted a service agent directly and just delivered the car! Subsequent service with my representative Chris Labady was wonderfully kind, helpful, knowledgeable and professionally handled.

My experience with Thaibaud at Penske Land Rover was, dare I say, fun!!! Yes, no cheesy sales pitch, just pure authentic honest conversation to help me find what works for me, patient while I evaluated all my options at Land Rober(as I also went back and forth between dealerships for many hours that day). I just kept returning to Penske Land Rover. Had Thaibaud been so focused on “selling me”, I never would have returned, because my intention that day was to buy from another dealership in which I had already selected the car I wanted(after not such pleasant treatment by their salesperson Which left a bad taste in my mouth). That bad taste gave me a wild hair to just stop on the way and check out Land Rover just before going to sign for the other car. It had been a longing to have one for many years but I didn’t think it was possible and that it was out of my league. His ability to just allow MY process for even considering this change in my original direction and honoring my way of evaluating all that helped me to know this was right FOR ME, is what gave me the ability to get crystal clear in my decision without remorse from pressure. Thaibaud was personal, and someone who is definitely knowledgeable and passionate about helping people find their dream cool ride at whatever stage they are at. Penske Land Rover dealership was nothing like I’ve ever experienced in car shopping. It was relaxed, educational(which was key to me seeing that financially this made so much sense), had some laughs and I felt he got it with what would make this right for me. It felt like having a friend helping me out. If you are looking to lease, or to buy new or pre-owned, I encourage you to go see Thaibaud and get yourself educated. The experience is a smooth ride! I went to Land Rover looking for a New Range Rover Velar. I met a sales man named Alex and let me just tell you he was the best car salesman Ive ever met. Now, I do not mean that he sold me on something I did not want and that makes him the best sales person. He actually took the time to listen to everything I needed. To understand me in order to understand what vehicle would best fit me. In all my years of buying cars I have never met someone at a car dealership who is more composed, calm, knowledgable and more willing to work with me to get me the exact deal I was looking for. Now that is a good car sales person! I left extremely satisfied and he left with a sale. Fantastic experience at Land Rover of Cerritos!!
This rating applies to the service department. I purchased a used Land Rover this week from a private party so I wanted to have a Land Rover dealership conduct a coplete used car purchase inspection of the vehicle, as well as order an additional key. I first called the Pasadena Land Rover dealership (the closest to my home) and made an appointment with them for the inspection. However, Pasadena quoted me approx. $700 (key plus programming fee) for 1 key, which I found excessive. Suspecting Pasadena was overcharging, I called this Cerritos dealership YESTERDAY. I spoke to Jim Lynch, who quoted me much less ($) for the same key (including programming) and offered to get me in this morning for the inspection of my vehicle (at a fairly reasonable price). Jim scheduled my appointment and updated the vehicles information in their system to show me as the new owner. He was very friendly and professional.TODAY, I arrived at the dealership at 8 a.m. for the inspection and all my info was already in their system. I was told it would take approximately 3 hours to complete the inspection. By 11 a.m., Jim was sitting down with me patiently going through the inspection report item by item. I was very pleased to discover that the entire car (down to the windshield wipers and license plate lights, as well as the upholstery) had been inspected. Jim (while working with the service technician) explained to me what services were really needed and what services could wait. He did not push me to get any services done at all, but wanted to make sure I understood the current state of the used vehicle I purchased and what I should probably get done to make sure it continues to work great. I decided to get most of the recommended services for the mileage of the vehicle and held off on a few things. I feel the prices quoted for the services and replacement parts Im getting are very reasonable for the type of luxury vehicle I chose to buy. I decided to leave the car there for service, so Jim offered to get me a ride to my home in South Pasadena/Alhambra. Within minutes, someone picked me up and drove me home. Moreover, Jim told me the vehicle could be ready for pick up by the end of the day.In sum, considering I have never purchased a Land Rover from this dealership, I was very impressed with the level of service Jim provided. Ive owned several luxury vehicles and can honestly say the level of service I have received from this dealerships service department so far is on point. I am very happy I chose to go to this dealership instead of the apparently overpriced Pasadena dealership. Also, I am hopeful that I will not need to retract this review after I pick up my vehicle;)

I live in Orange County but bought my Range Rover in Rancho Mirage. When it was time for the vehicles first service I decided I was going to give Land Rover Cerritos a try since it was in a convenient location. When I tried setting up a service appointment and asked if I could get a courtesy vehicle I was denied and told since I did not purchase the vehicles from this location it was not possible. I was told I would have to set up a service history with their dealership and for the NEXT service I could get a car. I would have been a paying customer for an expensive service for a very expensive suv. What difference does it make where I bought the car from when everyone is paying for service. They treat potential customers like its a used car lot and not a Land Rover dealership!! Get it together. Obviously Ill be going elsewhere!

We used a broker to purchase the vehicle. However, because of this we are not able to see the vehicle first hand. We love the vehicle; but, the voice control does not work and the speakers crackle every now and then. Car scheduled to go to the dealer already to check the issues mentioned above.
Got everything I needed for the Jag and they even gave me real metal license plates that said Penske Jaguar. Good deal.

Just had a nice service experience at this location. My adviser, Vanessa, was helpful and expedient. Its a large production, but they seem to handle the volume very gracefully.Even though it is farther than the South Bay dealership, I will return to Cerritos for future service. The difference is notable. South Bay allowed me to book a wait appointment online over a week out. And the morning of the appointment, they called me and said I would have to leave the car for 3 days... for regular service. Like, an oil change and tire rotation type stuff. Seriously?But Cerritos got it right. Thumbs up.

Today, I upgraded from a 2016 Range Rover Sport HST to the 2020 Sport HST. The sales rep. Sean Khnkoyan was super helpful. He helped me 4 years ago with my 2016 purchase and because i loved his service and expertise, I made sure to use him again with this new lease. He was very nice, listened and made sure he got me exactly what i was looking for. At one time, I wanted to see a specific color (Corris Gray i believe) and he went out of his way to search for this car. Although i ended up getting the red, i still appreciated all his efforts towards meeting all my needs. If anyone wishes to test drive or purchase/lease, i suggest asking for Sean Khnkoyan. He is the BEST!!!

I have been a loyal customer of both the Jaguar and Land Rover service departments for the last several years. I own and have owned several late model Jaguars and Land Rovers some of which are over 10 years old. They have always been very helpful and educational about the repairs that are suggested to be done. They do not pressure me to make any repairs that are unnecessary for my vehicles, but they do inform me of the repairs that could be made. The sales staff are always accommodating and informative about the new models. Penske has done a great job presenting these brands the way they should be presented.
For the last 10 years, we have had our Jaguar XJ8 serviced at Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos because they are the closest dealer. Initially, their service was OK, but for the last few years it has been pretty unacceptable. It was very difficult to schedule an appointment - even when we had an urgent safety issue that needed attention, and all but one of the service technicians we usually dealt with were totally unresponsive failing to take calls or return calls for days at a time.Recently, we had a brake issue. I called for an appointment explaining it was urgent and was told it would be 4 weeks before I could get an appointment. I left a message for Chris Labady - one of the few responsive service technicians. Not expecting a call back, I found another dealer and made an appointment. Chris called me back within a couple hours. I told him I appreciated his call, but explained I had made an appointment elsewhere because he was the only one who seemed to be concerned about customer service. He urged me to reconsider. I declined. Within thirty minutes, his boss, the service department manager, called me and told me they had made changes to improve customer service and didnt want to lose us as customers. To show how serious he was, he offered to send an employee to our home with a loaner car and to pick up our car. Two hours later, an employee arrived at our front door, took our car and left the loaner. They had our car for several days, during which they communicated regularly with us about the progress on the repairs.Its not often that a business actually turns around their customer service and commits to action rather than just words, but in this case, Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos demonstrated their commitment to good customer service. They really couldnt have done more for us in this situation, hence they have earned 5 stars.

I had such a great experience at Land Rover Cerritos. I originally came in to have a safety recall taken care of on my Jaguar F- Pace. After I met Tim in the service dept I mentioned that I was disappointed that I didnt lease a Range Rover. Long story short, he brought me to Sean in sales and a few hours later I drove off in my dream car. Sean was so friendly and not pushy like many salesmen can be. He genuinely cared and wanted to help me. Tim from service stayed the whole time I was there even though he was supposed to be off work already. I felt so comfortable during the whole buying process. My experience here at Penske Land Rover was great. All the people were nice fron sales dept to service and even the tech that worked on my car talked to me. The facility is very nice and well maintained and the lounge is nice with coffee, waters and soda in the fridge. Chris D. who was the advisor that helped me was great. I bought a Range Rover over two years ago. I have taken my car in for different services over the last couple years. My experience each time has been very positive. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Chris Davila has been my service advisor I believe every time I come in. He is always helpful and knowledgeable. Just recently I brought my car in for a regular service check. Chris gave me a loner car for the day. The next day I had to leave out of town and was not able to bring the loner car back and pick up my car. Chris was kind enough to offer to bring my car to my house, park it in my garage and pick up the loner car. That was most generous and in this day and age not the norm. As I mentioned before I have always had a great experience at Land Rover Cerritos but this was the cherry on top!! Thank you so much!!
I live in Arcadia, near the Pasadena Land Rover. I went there and was ignored. I came to the Cerritos Land Rover and they showed me what real customer service is like and actually treated me like a paying customer. I ordered a full size Range Rover for $110k+ with Sean. I just leased a new Range Rover Sport from Brennen and I could not have been more impressed with the level of service he provided today. He was courteous beyond my expectations and blew the other 2 dealers that I visited away! The General Manager Robert was also very helpful with all of my questions and I felt like they were bending over backwards to help me and to make me feel like a rock star. I have returned to Cerritos Jaguar for the purchase of a second vehicle because of the excellent customer service and sales staff. The process to purchase the newest Jag XKR was uncomplicated and the transaction was completed within a couple of hours. However, what brings me back to this location is really the customer service. It is easy to purchase a vehicle but when you drive off with your new car and have to bring the car in for an oil change, tires, etc. it is important to have someone pleasant to deal with, who is working with you to get your vehicle back to you as quickly as possible, and if that individual can make it a pleasant experience, there is no doubt I have found a stellar dealership to continue to do business with. If purchasing another vehicle, it is important to consider all of these items. By providing this information to potential buyers, anyone interested in purchasing a Jaguar really should Cerritos Jaguar because this dealership has been so successful in providing me with the entire package.
