I went about a month ago with a friend. It was my first time buying makeup and I knew absolutely nothing! A very kind lady (named Amy I think, she had a bedazzled mask) helped me out. She didn’t make me feel embarrassed that I was clueless, but rather kindly guided me throughout the whole process. I couldn’t have done it without her. I am so thankful for her patience and kindness! I will never forget her! Thanks Ulta for a very pleasant experience. I will be coming back!

I had a brow wax with Antoinette. She is an excellent aesthetician, and very nice. All store employees are friendly and helpful.

If i could give zero review I would. One of the worst ulta to go. The staff is terribly rude. The security thinks that she’s a mall cop and will follow you and make it so obvious. 0/10 do not go to this. Racial profiling at its finest

They didnt have trash cans for their perfume testers.

It was very busy, but you could still get around without to much problem.

Helpful. Clean organized. I imagine its difficult to run a store that has so many touch items in a pandemic like this but theyve certainly done a good job. Most of the stations dont have samples anymore but I think thats perfectly ok given the climate. Disnt wait in line very long and the staff was very helpful

I ordered on line, when I went to pick up they came right out to my car, didnt have to wait long at all.

The security guard started following me as soon as I came in the door, it was my first time at this location, and never left my sight. I was starting to think maybe I did steal something. I simply left because I was so uncomfortable; he was watching me like a shark getting ready to attack. I felt so uncomfortable all I needed was sunscreen and I couldn’t even shop for that.

Love this place. Everyone Ive encountered has been very helpful, and nice. The store is well organized and stocked. Ive never had an issue with them running out of a product I usually purchase. I did notice they no longer sell rimmel, but who cares, crappy brand anyways 🤷‍♀️.

Been in here several times, fantastic service each time! It is a no hassle experience; no pressure to sell a pricey product over a less expensive one. I appreciate staff that is willing to offer different options and opinions.First time I went, I asked for a moisturizer from a product line I’m familiar with, but never used. The salesperson walked over and showed me several of their options, as well as mentioning other product lines of a similar style. Very helpful, courteous, and professional service!My second visit was because I wasn’t thrilled with what I picked. I used one product, but it didn’t react well with my skin type, so I returned another product from the same product line because I figured I’d give another company’s line a try. When I explained this to the cashier handling my return, she mentioned a couple items she likes and advised me that they offer services that might help address the problem. She explained they offer a 10 minute facial and they could maybe suggest something a bit more personalized about my routine. Hey, that was a great suggestion to a customer who is confused and frustrated about skincare issues! I really appreciated that!So today... my regular hairdresser wasn’t available and I’ve had a super tight schedule. I remembered my last encounter at Ulta, the cashier mentioned the hair salon in our conversation. I figured I’d call and check it out. Maria was so helpful and super patient answering my questions and was kind enough to make an appointment for me with Clarissa this afternoon.OMG!!! I love, love, love my haircut! I super love it! Like I’m showing it off to everyone love it!Clarissa was on time, discussed what I wanted, my hair type, my face shape, how I style it, products I use, etc. She was professional, friendly, and caring! She knew exactly what I wanted, but much more importantly, what my hair needed! We talked about various ways to style my cut, as well as maintaining it. She showed me the products she was using and explained why she chose them for my hair type. That was extremely helpful, but in a no pressure sales way. She is a fantastic hairstylist and just a pleasure to talk to! Clarissa, thank you so much! I’m going to recommend you to everyone I know. Oops... maybe you’ll get too busy to cut my hair if I start telling people how awesome you are! (But she really, really is!!!)

Ive come to this Ulta many times and each time its hot or miss.... Either the employees are GREAT, Super helpful and friendly or everyone seems like a nervous reck because of management. It feels like someone is watching them, like breathing down their backs.. its just tense sometimes and seems like the employees are scared to do something wrong. The employees are knowledgeable, somewhat friendly and efficient, even tho it feel Iike their owner will pull their choke collar at any moment .

This was the first time I had been to Ulta and see why. They have a very wide variety of products but the service is terrible. We walked around the store for 15 minutes and saw at least half a dozen associates, non of whom asked us if we needed assistance.The prices here are higher than other beauty supply stores and most of these things I can purchase from my neighborhood department store, also for less.I would not recommend this place nor will I be returning.

Horrible customer service Walked in today to pick up wifes wish list and supplies and encountered Leslie. Leslie seems to be the most arrogant and rude manager I have ever met. She was barking orders to all her employees and spoke to the customers in the same condescending tone. If I ever walk in here again and run into leslie it will be the last time I shop here again. Her tone and rudness is fine for the urban locations but she needs to check it at the door here at Cerritos.

Large store full of affordable treasures and good customer service.

First off, it’s an off day and I came in without my hair or makeup done (lookin a hot mess). I had a huge list of items to pick up, and they watched me shop almost the entire time. The first red flag. Politely asked if I could compare an eyeshadow palette off the floor to one from the back to cross-check quality, JUST TO BE SURE before I proceeded with my $340 PURCHASE... there were two eyeshadow palettes that I did this for. I use/ collect high end makeup products and want them to be in PRISTINE condition, especially when I’m dropping this kind of money. So yes I will be particular about which one I choose but I am always, always, extremely polite about it and explain to whoever’s helping me, why it’s so important for me to thoroughly check the condition. I don’t even have to explain myself, but I do anyways. Once I completed checking my products and was ready to check out, I overheard the heavier hispanic lady who helped me whispering to another employee about me (there was barely anyone else in the store) !!!! So I turned around and quietly observed. I literally watched her say “she’s crazy!” as she gestured pointing to her head, while making an exaggerated face at the other girl. Once she realized that I was paying attention, she immediately stopped and got back to work.... I left the store feeling absolutely AWFUL, disgusted, and humiliated. Almost wanting to go back and return everything that I had just purchased. Avoid this location at all costs if you’re someone that cares about what you buy, and expects a little DECENCY from employees of such a large and highly regarded company. YOU WON’T GET ANY RESPECT HERE. NEVER COMING BACK. I almost feel like I would have been respected more by the employees if I came in all dolled up and having an attitude instead. I will happily take my business somewhere else that doesn’t give attitude/ throw shade towards careful customers. PISSED.

Always clean and staff always helpful. The unfortunate thing is that when they have their special deals never enough stock for those who work and cant be there when they open.

This place is one gigantic beauty store. I mean they have an entire huge wall of hair dryers alone.

I prefer Sephora much more. Everything there seems to be in disarray. Sales people are much more friendly and seem more knowledgeable at Sephora. I think I’m going to bring back the things that I purchased from Ulta. The mini HooIa I bought the box is not closing correctly and the urban decay concealer I bought I can get for a fraction of the price from the drugstore with a dupe. However I think I might keep the Benefits eyebrow product I got. It was my first time there and unless they have something exclusive to them it probably will be my last, very unimpressed and disappointed. The only reason I went there was because they had the tart concealer which was awful by the way as well.

Went there to get color matched and not only did I have to grab the associates attention because ahe was on her cell phone but she did not seemed pleased to want to help. She had no knowledge of what brands I was asking about and did not recommend the righr brand for my skin type. She basically sold me a brand she uses and we clearly had way different skin types. I also overheard how the manager was apeaking to her employee and it made me cringe and made me never what to shop there again. I will be trying out thw ULTA in Whittier. So so disappointed and I spent over $100 dollars this visit but after trying them at home i knew this associate just wanted to sell me anything. Not my color and did not work with my skin type.

Come on ULTA MAKES MILLIONS AND MILLIONS and too hire mediocre employees your customers and sales is going to drop..aside from what i hear your ulta employees complain about the wage.. display products are a mess thats where the monitoring should be at.. When i discovered ulta a few yrs ago i loved going in with such an enthusiasms now i dont bother..

If you go in dressed like a bum or not feeling good they wont help you, in fact they treat you like your poor trying to steal free samples lol. Went in again feeling better dressed ready to go out and I was surprised by the amount of unwanted help I got. Plus they dont ever give you the free gifts super stingy. Btw I learned that it wasnt just me who felt like the employees and manager were rude. Remember ladies beauty is truely within. Rather go to Brea, whittier, lakewood mall Or even COMPTON becuase cerritos ulta is the worst.
