We have two propane tanks that we want to get rid of. I figured that since Home Depot has them for sale/exchange, they might be able to accept them and give them back to the manufacturer. Definitely wrong. They asked me to contact the company directly and did not want to have anything to do with it.Just thought it might be a good customer service if they can help out since the deal with propane tanks frequently.
I shop at this location quite often and always have had a very positive experience. Today I stopped by to pick a fish tape for a small project and while I was going through available products, Ted stopped by to inquire whether I needed help. Ted was not only super polite and helpful but was very knowledgeable. I would encourage anyone looking for assistance in cable and equipment Isle to speak with him. Thank you Ted.
We had to wait for a whole hour and not one person showed up not even the manager we asked different people for help and they all said different things and nothing worked no one had a solution.

I went to purchase a Portable A/C. I checked website and it was in stock. When I walked in, there was a guy asked me what I am looking for. I told him what I am looking for, even I showed him from my phone the model number as well. He said, I came way to early. They dont stock the A/C when summer time. He said, it will be somewhere in the back, they are way too busy to bring it up front. He told me to order online. Before I turn around, I went to customer service to see if I can order head of time and I was planning to come back when it is ready to pick up. Then the lady was helping me, she told me to follow her. And the A/C was at the front of the garden area. It was not high up, it was on the very low the first place. I was able to puck it up myself. I understand, you cannot remember what is there or not. Yes, he was being nice to help me. But the guy was looking at me very stupid that I was looking to purchase a A/C in May 3rd.??
I purchased the Brondell comfort+ bidet. I will admit I have more than the novice experienced individual with plumbing, but this was super easy to install, and, wow what a great product. The fittings that come with the package and instructions are easy to understand. If you want to have a great clean feel everytime you use the bathroom, without the hassle of paying a plumber hundreds of dollars to install something that is probably the same thing, this is the way to go.You can easily install this in all your bathrooms without hassle. Top notch! I will be buying more and installing them in all the bathrooms.
This Home Depot has been my home away from home over the years as it has been convenient to where I live in this area for over 20 years. Its always nice when a regular customer gets to know their staff as it makes it easier sometimes to resolve issues and such. This is a large clean store inside and out with plenty of space to move around and does not feel cramped like some older stores. Pro Desk staff has always been good to me over the years and their free coffee is a nice perk especially early in the morning.
Just save yourself the time, money, and hassle and go to Lowe’s. Super lazy employees here.
Its fine. Its HD. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I got some cheap flowers that will likely die tomorrow but at least I wont be that neighbor who didnt do anything in their yard 🤷🏾♀️🙃

Drove to home depot since Lowe’s didn’t provide any help.Found the right part however the box was not labeled lady at the front said it’s the last part an could not be sold. Had to purchase a 1 1/2 adapter in order to take the part I actually needed which was a 1 1/4 adapter. I’m shocked on the lack of service or care to make a sale. 5hr job we all want to go home. Received the email, Your order XXXXXX is ready for pickup at your S Riding store! Clicked Im at the store and submitted my information twice. Had to wait at least 5 or 10 minutes. Finally, someone came outside with my order. He asked, did I want him to put the item in the back. I said, yes. He said there is a survey and it seemed like he was going to ask me to fill out the survey via paper and pen. I asked him to email that to me. He said okay. I dont know how well the text option works that was posted on the curbside parking sign. It seems as though the sign is not consistent with the email.

Overall very disappointed with quality and customer service. I ordered some patio furniture from Home Depot like Weber Grill, umbrellas, sofa, table, chairs. The umbrella was delivered, but the box was opened and fixed with a tape, the product was damaged and it had several scratches. The rest of the products were not delivered. I spent hours on the phone with them and sent multiple emails but it never got resolved.

I placed storm door order at this place around February of 2021. Contractor came and got the measurement as requested. I went to the store to pay and follow up the orders, no one has a clue. I almost every week visit to this store, so I inquired about the storm door and my orders none has any idea whats going on. Again, in April, I happened to meet a guy in the storm door section and he tried to help me but said I have to get another estimate and measurement since the measurement taken in February is not valid. I placed an order again. Contractor contacted me and and suggested me to purchase the door. I even could not purchase the door until I found the same guy who had ordered my storm door measurement order. After I paid for the door, locks, required materials and installation fee, I had to call, visit and text every week to get the status. On June 18, contractor came to install the door and said your door has some damages, you need to pay $150.00 extra to get additional materials but still we can not guarantee that it will hold your storm door for more than a year. Sorry get your door BACK. Thank you.What a loot! Wow, Home depot at this place rips, Be cautious, look for the options.
Very nice lady helped me look for the cordless vacuums. (Bissell airram 1984 burnt out and we were looking for other attachments for hard to reach places so decided to look at the shark cordless pet ) One young guy told me it was in cleaning section. I asked, is it in cleaning ? He said yes. But at the front of the cleaning section was just brooms etc things like that. I was very confused. Asked sometime at customer service and The lady came with us all the way to the back and looked on the computer for it just to help us find the right location. 5 stars for this and my first time here too. Love that is near fords fish which also was my first time goingP.S. dont listen to those people saying bad customer service. They should say for that day not all the time.....

Home depot has never been my favorite place. I find the employees extremely rude and unfriendly at every branch. The one in South Riding is the only site I like that is organized but still staffs are always unfriendly. Lowes, on the other hand, is a much friendlier place.
Four times now Ive come in for various items, and this location doesnt have it in stock. Its ridiculous, no one to help, no stock on the shelves.
Could have used some help but staff seemed sparse. Only self checkout available. Had to beg someone to come over and give me a veteran discount. Otherwise standard home Depot. Nothing special about this location other than Ive been to better locations.
Went to the Home Depot in South Riding to pick up a few decorator items for a powder room project. The young lady in the paint section, Enza, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.When we had trouble at self checkout, someone came to help almost immediately. They also seem to be extremely attentive to sanitation in the store.
Its close, affordable, and almost always have what I need. No issues with Veteran discount, just show your ID. Always helpful staff.
I don’t think I want to use Home Depot ever again. Ordered a fridge, & it was finally delivered. But after 4 days now they’re telling me it will be another 7 days till the installation. Moving our installation day on your own without telling us?

I am done with this store!!I have had so many bad experiences with this store and more specifically the staff. So few know where things are or know anything about the products they actually sell. Now, they have stopped honoring the 10% military discount. I will now drive 5x as far to go to their competitor which has employees that know what they are doing.

Only go here if I have to now. Had a really, really bad experience with an installation of a door. The product or installation was deffective and caused damage to my hardwood floors. We spent the better part of 1 year (yes, you read that right, one year to get this resolved and it still isnt resolved).Home Depot pointed the fingers at the installer and the door manufacturer, who both pointed the fingers at each other continually. Very convenient.We finally had to go through our home owners insurance policy to fix the damage that was cause by the shoddy workmanship and/or product.The Jen-Weld (door manufacturer) did replace the door, but they didnt accept product liability for the damage the defective door caused.All the time, Home Depot folks stood back and took absolutely no responsibility whatsoever.I do not want to take anything away from some of the customer service folks who tried to help, but ultimately their hands were tied and the corporate stance from Home Depot on self insuring and then pointing the fingers at their vendors left a sour taste in our mouths.We still go here if we have to, but a majority of our home improvement money is now going to Lowes rather than this Home Depot. Its unfortunate because this location is so much more close to our home.
Had to buy a special bit. Went into their tool Section found the bits which were well organized, selected the bit I was looking for, paid, and was on my way home in a matter of minutes.

I do not understand the reason for having curbside pickup if same day service is not the expectation for in stock items. One star reviews come from not being able to do what you offer well. I highly recommend reconsidering doing away with services HD cannot do well.
Great looking place, friendly, and helpful staff. The store usually has everything we need in stock. Cash out lines havent been crazy like some other stores. So overall a really great experience time and time again.
Update:Curbside is better. Super fast when I came on a weekday. Great if you have kids with you. Still seems like you have to get there before 6 though which can be an inconvenience if you have to work.Delivery from this location was good but it can be pretty expensive.Curbside isnt so great though. Sometimes orders take forever to be fulfilled and the phone isnt answered all the time.Be aware the cut off time for curbside pickup is at 6pm and will not help you with your order after that.
The lady at customer service was super friendly, and she worked by herself. There were 3 guys just standing there did nothing, but they were curbside service. There was a long line at customer service, so not sure why they needed so many curbside service people when they had nothing to do.
Store is clean, staff were very helpful. I asked where items were located and personal opinion on certain products, everyone was able to help. Self checkout was very quick.
Home Depot was great. Wonderful customer service (wish I noted her name) while purchasing a new washing machine. In and out within 40 minutes. Typically its difficult to find assistance but now I know, just purchase a major appliance and you get to interact with the pros. Would shop there again.
Never again. Came all the way from WV, waited 15 min,I had to ask for assistance twice. I was getting a fireplace 157lbs!! No one helped. I put it on the cart by myself and put it my car by myself. The guy outside gave a little push, I already had it in the car!!Never again!!

The layout is fairly intuitive and the stock is usually good. The staff can be helpful but there are issues in some departments. The mask policy is, unfortunately, not enforced so there is always at least one person without.

3 months ago I ordered paint. They asked for my phone number to look up the paint colors in the future to ease ordering again in the future.I went in to order the paint...and they said no such system exists.So apparently they have a creeper employee asking for womens numbers!!!??!!!

I had some heavier items than expected and went into the self check out area. The clerk immediately ran over and started to ring up the items for me. He took everything out of my arms and helped me. Unbelievable service, very impressed. Home Depot is still one of the places in the area that really does treat the customers with respect. During these tough times something like this really does help to make your day better. I will try to do the survey later on that I received when I exited the store. thank you for your help.

Spent 10 minutes the first time trying to get someone to answer the phone regarding an order that I placed at 9 am....its 7pm, we have no one to pull the order. Tried calling back the phone rang for 30 minutes (yes, I stayed on that long)...no one answered. I would not recommend using this Home Depot.Day 2 - Still have not received an email confirmation that my $700 order is ready for pickup...which was supposed to be same day as the items were available. Tried calling again...no one answered. Does anyone actually work at this store? I would not recommend this Home Depot.

Awful experience today. Was purchasing over $3000 worth of items, including over $2k in plywood. I asked 6 separate employees and waited over 45 min for a forklift to lower a new pallet of plywood. I ended up going to customer service who tried to call the forklift again and I was told once again just another 5 minutes. The forklift never came and after an hour waiting (an hour of my working day with another worker), I ended up having to leave and purchase the plywood elsewhere. Will not return to this home depot.
Dropped in to see if Freezers were in stock. Great customer service from the guy who assisted me. He checked the truck, scanned the bar codes to see if they had any in stock.

This is absolutely the worst Home Depot I have ever been to.I purchased lumber as contractor and they key wrong SKU number. I waited for over 2 hours to find someone to tell me that I can not buy that SKU and I had to get it fixed. Then, it was hours to get rental truck. 5 Hours, no system for waiting, just try yourLuck around the store and come back later . No system! Then it was 2 more hours to get a forklift operator .

We love this Home Depot but we also have another fan in our family, our son. The Home Depot went all out in making our sons Birthday party there so special. He had a blast and so loved using a real hammer for the first time. Mark Clem organized our date and time and Raquel did an amazing job helping the kids and entertaining. They all loved her and hugged her when they left. I highly recommend this for your young child who loves Home Depot and tools.

Going early, when it just opened, was so much better than going when it was busy. We practically had the place to ourselves.
Lot of parking. Tools rental is awesome. The staff is very helpful especially in tools when I rented a tiller. The rep suggested me all the options and took me to the rack to show them physically. It helped me to choose the equipment best suited for my need. Did not try to upsell additions like insurance or other accessories. I highly recommend tools rental if you are in need.

Not the fault on the Pro Desk. I saw 6 bath fixtures available at this location online. I didnt see any, so went to the Pro Desk for local assistance. He too had them listed, right where I looked. To avoid confusion he went back with me. No stock on the shelves, or in the overhead storage Id neglected to check. And of course its HD exclusive, so no alternate source. The client will have to pick something else. Oh, and we already installed the valves for the tub and shower. Not a happy camper.

Go to the Ashburn location instead, its worth any extra driving time!! Customer Service at the South Riding location is very bad. As a new home owner in the area I had great experiences at this store until something went wrong as part of a large appliance order. I was given misinformation to secure a sale before the holidays, and the communication following was terrible. I made calls to Home Depots customer care number several times but each time I was told the store would have to call me back...which they never did. I wasted a vacation day as well as hours on the phone. The worst, and most helpless, part of of this entire thing is that the Home Depot call center and the Ashburn store both fully agreed that South Riding is a mess. STAY AWAY!
This is the worst Home Depot we have been in. Customer service no such thing. We came in to purchase some plumbing supplies. We needed some help. No one around. I seen three to four people standing at the end of isle near registers. Talking and doing nothing. They couldn’t help said they would page someone. Waited! No one came. So I went to ask again etc. I asked four times only heard them page twice. We wasted 20 to 30 minutes. Still no one. We ended up using pvc pipe we already had and getting a sink drain. 😡This is our last visit here. I guess we will go the extra miles to go to Lowes.
This home Depot is always sort of like a junk store: you can never find anything, theres always stuff thrown where other stuff belongs, and the new items are picked over before it hits the floor. The only saving Grace for it was that they used to sell Christmas blow molds, but since the company making them went oob, Im guessing I wont have much reason to go there anymore.

Generally, a good enough store. However, I recently purchased a dishwasher and was promised delivery on 8/31. No call no show. After repeated calls to Home Depot with very little follow up, I was given no reason for the failed delivery and unacceptable compensation for the inconvenience/time. Decided to cancel the order and purchase a dishwasher from Lowes (which offered free shipping and installation). Will not be returning to Home Depot for a large appliance purchase. Very disappointed.
