Visiting NC with a friend and looking for a place for a glass of wine. She said Ive always wanted to try this place. We had a blast! Loved that you could grab a glass and sample different wines at different quantities. Loved the helpful descriptions of each wine. You swap your credit card for a key card that you insert in the slot. Then select your wine and press the button. We relaxed on the nice little sofa to talk. When youre ready to leave, swap the key card and check out. Cheers! (Didnt have time to check out the interesting beer selection!)

Nice little spot for beers that you cant get just anywhere. I tried some nice stouts and browns. Great selection of beers from all over, great bartender, indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

Great location in a mixed use mid rise complex with a restaurant next door if you want a grab a bite to eat with your beer. Dont forget to visit the bottle shop in the back of the shop in order to take home a bottle of wine (or two) and a few beers for later!

Excellent service and the other customers were a lot of fun. A good selection and while I opted for a gose (absolutely excellent), the wine tap looked great and I look forward to trying that post covid.

The selection and variety of beers are great! I went with a group of friends to a class here, and the owner ensured we got to try an array of different beers and helped answer all of our questions. And the pizza from next door made a delicious pairing for the beer.

Great tap list, thoughtfully chosen packaged beer selection. They now have cold packaged beer available, and a nice wine selection. Outdoor seating for nice days and a pizza place next door. Altogether a positive experience.

This is a great bar in chapel Hill! The owner Lou is super charismatic and really knows his stuff. If you go youll most likely find yourself trying a beer from a brewery youve probably never heard of, but theyre almost always good. Also there is run club at 615 on Thursdays. Its a great way to burn some calories before drinking a few carbs.

Chill atmosphere with an upscale flare.Nestled in the Chapel Hill mid rise apartments is a relaxing bar / pub that is well suited for intimate dates or small parties with the girls. They take pride in their local brew selections of craft beers and wines with additional selections of beverages from around the world. Outdoor seating is available, and outside food is allowed.On Thursday nights at 6:15 PM runners gather for 3 or 5 mile loops in surrounding neighborhoods. Hope to see you there!

Just had a wine tasking birthday party for a friend. The great thing about Bottle Rev is that with the wine dispensing machine they have, you can sample lots of different wines inexpensively. Julie gave us an overview of each wine and was very knowledgeable and gracious and also flexible.

Had a great time. Low key place to hang out with friends. Great selection of 14 beers and the self-serve wine dispensers were a hit; just get a card and sample away. Beers from all over the state and region. And the pizza place next door delivers, what a great combo... Staff is great and personal... Think cheers with a smile... They also have a variety of wines to take back to house or hotel. Great find as we were headed south for vacation...

Great bar staff, beer selection is generally excellent and changes frequently enough that theres always something new to try. Pub run on Thursdays is well attended and a good social crowd! Self serve wine means its easy to try whatever you like. Great bottle selection too.

I love this bar. Good rotating selection of craft beers. Usually covering the waterfront of types and regions with a decent representation of North Carolina beers. Friendly helpful staff and clean place with character.

A large (12+ taps) and well curated draft list makes this bottle shop fun to browse. Not the biggest selection compared to other bottle shops in the area but there was still plenty of options Id never heard of. Staff was very nice and helpful when trying to narrow my choices down.

Where to begin: the beer? the wine station? the knowledgeable staff? the hospitality? All of the above—check! Bottle Rev is simply THE best place to hang out for drinks in Chapel Hill.

The bartender is an absolute Country Gentleman! He run over to move the barstool for me fearing I would break it or hurt myself instead of allowing me to move it on my own

What makes Bottle Rev special is that it isnt a one trick pony. While they have an excellent selection of rotating beers on tap, they also have a selection of wines on tap as well. Beyond that, they have a great selection of wines to buy (and fantastic knowledge of you need a recommendation). Add in weekly trivia, beer runs, wine tastings and more...not a surprise Im there every week.

Fantastic bottle shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A greast selection of beers and wines, with tastings on Mondays and Saturdays. Not to mention frequent specials and sales and a Thursday running club. If you are looking for high quality and often unique beers and wines to drink now or take home this is the place.
