Upon going to this place, I heard many mixed reviews about the staff, food, etc. But i can honestly tell you that we had a great experience. Staff was above and beyond friendly, food tasted great imo, and the beer selection was just enough to satisfy my needs. Definitely is a great atmosphere to watch some sports with the ones you love while enjoying a nice thin crust pizza and a cold one to go along with it. I love the vibes of this place, will definitely go back again. Also, their specialty pizzas are all great but i bet you could make an even better personalized one if you wanted!

This is a design your own pizza restaurant and it’s pretty darn good. The only criticism I have is for the pizza mushrooms, I’d prefer slices of mushrooms instead of small pieces. The buffalo wings were not too spicy, exact how I prefer, and the stuffed mushrooms are pretty good as well. We carried out our order and when we got home we discovered our blue cheese container had melted a bit within the container of the wings.Prices are on par with the island, more on the higher side but that’s the price we pay for living in paradise. We got the Tuesday deal so that might have helped mitigate the overall cost. They have a decent lunch deal so I’ll be checking that out in the future. We recommend and will return.

Its about the same price as Dominos and way better! Best Pizza Ive had on the island! Id recommend this place as a must for anyone with mainland pizza blues. 5/5 for the pizza, beers, and cheese bread. I appreciate the covid precautions too!

Great customer service. Was my sisters first time going and she enjoyed it too. My first time I guess I wasnt feeling it but this second time it was amazing. Food was so good and it wasnt greasy or heavy at all. Kinda wish the mozzarella sticks were more gooey and cheesy but overall it was worth coming back and trying again.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely place for pizza. The staff explained how you can build your own or select from a list of pizzas already designed for your taste. The selection of toppings was absolutely amazing. (including the Italian Pasta Salad) everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best pizza, and pasta salad we had in awhile. Cleanliness.I ordered the Tribune as advertised on the menu and an order of Garlic Cheesy Bread. The first pic is the cost to give you an idea depending on your budget....the second one is the Garlic bread with Marinara sauce and the third is a slice of the Tribune left from almost inhaling it before I remember to take a picture...lol. Overall this was an amazing takeout experience. I hope you stop by there and order some amazing food. Its Absolutely worth it!!! Mahalo aaand Aloha!!

After visiting four different pizzerias on island, this is so far my favorite. The pizza options are great and the environment is amazing. The portions are perfect as long as you go in with sizable appetite. Big screens all around to catch your favorite team in action too. I highly recommend checking this place out.

The pizza press is a real hidden gem at pearl highlands. They offer pizza with unlimited amounts of toppings with a very wide variety of cheeses and meats. They are similar to pieology but im my opinion pizza press is on a whole different level of awesomeness compared to pieology. Their ingredients are very fresh and it shows in the taste of the finished product. Their garlic cheesy bread is out of this world. Their prices are also very reasonable and the staff there are very friendly and helpful especially to first time customers like myself. All in all I highly recommend pizza press and I will definitely will be going back here again. The pizza and cheesy bread I got was so good it was out of this world!

I gave 3 stars because the pizza was good, the wings had good flavor, and the restaurant was indeed tidy, but I’m unsure if the experience was pleasant enough to return or recommend. The garlic cheesy bread was nothing special, the ordering/pick-up/payment process was confusing, and the price felt too high for the overall experience.

Theres plenty of choices th choose from and your free to make your own. So far, there hasnt been a pizza I havent enjoyed. Their service is quick and friendly. Its a great place to watch the game with some friends, while cracking open a cold one. The seating is mostly high tables, some spots at the bar, and a few booths. For as busy as it can get, the pizza press feels clean and maintains a friendly atmosphere

Great quality and on time service. They are taking all necessary proper covid precautions. Also great drinks and desserts if you wanted something extra. I prefer to order online ahead of time so that is fresh and ready when I get there.

Covid has slowed down service but has not hit quality. Everything is still very good here.As of May 17th 2021 its the first time Ive been back in over 8 months. Dine in is open. Its quite nice.

Went on opening day and got an opportunity to taste the pizza. I was literally first in line on the second day. It was maybe because they were giving out free pizza... Nonetheless it was a much needed upscale pizza joint that also had a bar. Pearl City doesnt really have upscale bars, only strip clubs and seedy ones. Making your own pizza it always fun and the pizza tasted great.

I ordered the Chronicle pizza but added the red sauce and subbed the onion with olives. It was so good. They have a lychee cocktail (I dont remember the name of it), but the bartender said she was out of the lychee syrup or something, but she said she normally subs it with pineapple juice. I said ok, Ill try it like that. It was so good, I ordered it 2x. I ordered the 2nd one after I tried the Moscow Mule and didnt care as much for it like the pineapple one. All in all, it was a great experience, great food and drinks and most of all great environment.I went there to watch the UH football game against Nevada and I didnt want to go to Buffalo Wild Wings as I expected it to be crowded there and I dont care for their food as much as Pizza Press. Im so glad there were lots of space to sit to watch the game. I decided to sit at the bar. It was an excellent choice and will return the next time Im watching the game alone.

So tasty and yummy place to eat. Reminds me of the places in the mainland where you pay $12 and all the toppings you want. Of course it cost extra for the other extras like cauliflower crust or gluten free, etc. They serve alcohol too if youre into that kind of meal. Overall family friendly and yummy.

The Pizza Press is an excellent experience! You customize your own pizza just like you would a sandwich at Subway, and yes, its every bit as awesome as it sounds. Their ingredients are all very fresh, with tons of choices and premium options like smoked Gouda cheese and fresh basil and cilantro. They also offer some delicious salads and sides. Plus, they boast a great selection of craft beers on tap. Theres plenty of seating. Everything is really reasonably priced, too! The bar even has huge screens for watching whatever sports event youre into. This is a great place for the whole family, pau hana, game day, or any time you have a pizza craving. Definitely going back!

As a mother of 5 kids, you can imagine that we eat pizza quite often. A friend recommended The Pizza Press. I wasnt excited about eating pizza at all. Ive been tired of it for some time. But I did it because I was hopeful that it was as good as my friend said it was. Well, she was right!! This place has fresh ingredients for you to create whatever pizza you feel like eating at that time. My husband and I enjoy a good beer with pizza. Their selection of local beers was great. My entire family really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. So much so that I asked for an application for my son. Lol I highly recommend this place.

Fun dinner date night idea. We enjoyed creating our own personal pizzas & had leftovers to take home. We waited in line for about 10 minutes before we got to the counter to start our order, but it was worth it. Definitely a busy, packed, & loud... but fun place to be on a Friday or Saturday night.

Great food, unique building of your own pizza

I created my own pizza. Only because I didnt wanna try something new at this place, it being my first times and all. From the moment I walked into this place I was greeted and had friendly conversation with everyone. Being new and all I didnt know what to expect but the guy that started my pizza was extremely helpful in getting me started. So many good options to choose from. My pizza consisted of marinara sauce, minced garlic, caramelized onions, pepperoni, sausage, shredded mozzarella and fresh mozzarella cheeses. Once my pizza made its way onto the belt to cook I spoke to the guy by the register who helped me pick a beer to go with my pizza and some wings. Not to pricey for what your getting. What made the night better was the conversations I had at the bar with the manager and bartender. If not for them I would have ate my food and been outta there shortly after. But they were so friendly I ended hanging around talking story for about an hour or so. The atmosphere here is so much quieter than other places, where the music is too loud and you have to yell to tall to someone 2 feet away. Which was great. All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely be back with the family.

Tried going to eat here on a saturday, walked in at 9 and was told they close at 0930 and was not cooking anymore. How can you close an hour earlier, doors still open and say your closed after we stood waiting while the employees were all goofing off. Very poor management.

OMG... I love the freshness of all the pizzaAll the toppings the yummy breadsticks & salads & dipping sauces too. Oh yeah the deep dish chocolate chip cookie with ice cream is so yummy. I usually make my own pizza and add on the toppings. The Best Pizza Ever!!! And it doesnt take 30 mins to arrive at your door. Its out of the oven in like 6 mins or so. Super fresh and very pleasant workers and clean at The Pizza Press. I have gone there at least 4 or 5 times now. I will be back. The leftovers the next day are just as yummy too.

Its almost unfair to present me with a newspaper-themed restaurant, because of course Im going to eat it all up. But this place is genuinely good, doing the design your own pizza thing right.Though they only offer regular and broccoli crusts (which are a fascinating non-carb option), and pretty much the same crispy doneness, the variety of sauces and toppings is good. And I do like the sides, from chicken wings to stuffed mushrooms to garlic bread to salads.Okay, I need to try their salads.The place also has a bar, and it looks appropriately hip and modern, but I wouldnt know a craft beer from a hovercraft.It is one of those places that feels compelled to have sports on big TVs on every wall, but as long as the sound is muted, Ill give them a pass.

The Pizza Press is a good place to stop in a get a personalized pizza for lunch or on the go if your busy like me. I got hooked up with The Sun super good and even better with a Big Wave to wash down all that deliciousness.

I just left your establishment and wanted to say how impressed I was with one of your male staff who wore a hairnet while making food. (Not sure why you dont require the same level of cleanliness from some of your female staff who wore a half ponytail and loose hair all over the pizzas she was making....) Also the hardworking taller gentlemen at the register who had several tasks to juggle including removing pizzas from the oven, cutting and boxing the pizzas on top of ringing up customers on the register. His work ethic was outstanding and should be modeled by the other cashier who shooed me away from his register while he was on the phone and pointed me back to the hardworking gentlemens register.I am quite sure you guys are busy. But I would suggest that you put up signs for pickup orders to reduce wait times during this pandemic, provide a standard of cleanliness for all staff to prepare food by, not just the men, and you divide the workload fairly amongst your staff.

Ordered special pizza and the the listing of ingredients DID NOT include Bacon. Some how bacon was on my pizza. I DO NOT eat any pork items. Very dissatisfied!Also they had a young man working handeling food prep and his mask was not covering his nose. Had conversation with 2 employees about this and it did not get resolved. This same employee was in and outside 2 times during the visit, did not see him wash his hands at all. He did put gloves on when he went back to food prep.Wont be visiting this place again.

Bottom line up front, Pizza is great, selection of beer is nice, but this place is beginning to fall from grace. What started as a neat spot for great pizza and good beer is beginning to become a trashy sports bar to rival BWW. The menu at the entrance has been removed in lieu of a scannable QR Code. Problem is the QR code doesnt work properly on Android or iOS. There are advertisements for their Modelo Mondays and other beer bucket weekday specials EVERYWHERE! If you are new to Pizza Press than you will be left clueless as to the ordering process because they have covered the 5 steps of ordering instructions with filters advertising chicken wings, appetizers, etc. Then crew members expect customers to order the next layer of a pizza before they have even seen what their options are. This problem is exacerbated by wearing facemasks and the fact that the music from the bar is being blasted at nightclub volume levels, forcing customers and crew members to yell back and forth at each other. When you arrive at the checkout counter you are bombarded by what feels like a convenience store level selection of wine bottles, 6packs of beer, premade desserts from different companies, and even a table of girl scout cookies (seriously?). This place used to be a gem, but is beginning to take a serious fall from grace. It feels like a CiCis Pizza mixed with a BWW... I really hope the management puts this place back on its pre-Covid track.

I do wish on uber eats app they had more customization options as they do in the resturant. Overall clean and decent place to eat.

Really well priced! 12 dollars for a pizza, and the price of a make your own is the same as the price for one of their signature pizzas. I highly recommend The Tribune. The pizzas are out FAST and both of the times weve gone the staff were super sweet. The seating area is always clean.

The place is super cute, the topping choices were extensive, and all the employees were genuinely nice. So, I was bummed when the flavor of my pizza ended up a little lackluster. Maybe the quality of the cheese? I got a combination of the shredded mozzarella and the fresh ball-shaped mozzarella. Still, it’s worth checking out, and you definitely won’t go home hungry.

This is a make your own pizza format place. I love their ingredients since they have a wide selection and everything is always fresh. If they’re busy, it can take a little awhile for the pizza since they all go through the same converter belt style oven. They do also serve alcohol here and you can sit at the bar, great place for families and to have pizza and beer!

My husband and I had The Pizza Press at 1000 Kamehameha Hwy Suite 233 in Pearl City tonight for the first time and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was perfect for a modern take on a pizza bar. It was structured very well with the bar serving craft beers to the left and pizza on the right.But what made the experience worth going back was the customer service! Preparing our pizza was Sean aka the Notorious Big Sean! He was literally the BEST; so funny and so sweet!My husband gets an extreme meat lovers pizza and I get a vegan pizza which is two opposites. But Sean was able to deal with my nontraditional order and pickiness, professionally and hilariously! Also, he ensured to change gloves when handling my pizza separately from my husbands pizza.Serving our pizza was Jo Anne and she was just as sweet; handled cutting the pizzas separately and packaging them!For unlimited toppings, vegan friendly options, the ability to create your own, and the flavor The Pizza Press is the place to go!

Flat crust, fresh ingredient, made-to-order pizza. Great concept! Tried the Herald signature pizza and added roasted garlic. It came out of the oven looking so good and mouth-watering. How disappointing it was when the taste was bland. The only thing I tasted at all was the basil in any bite that had basil. I would consider giving it one more test to try a pizza with one of their red sauces but it wont be anytime soon as I just wasnt impressed.

I really loved this place. It was the first time I have been to a place like it. And it was awesome making my own pizza just how I liked rather than picking from a menu and then asking to take ingredients off. I love spicy food and I was able to make a spicey pizza. And on top of all the good ingredient choices the servers were very friendly and they had a great beer selection. I will definetly be coming back again

The Pizza Press has great personalised pizzas! The staff is extremely efficient and definitely takes pride in what they do. The crust is light and not at all burnt and the topping amounts are perfect in my opinion. Everyone should visit The Pizza Press for a delicious custom pizza!

Good selection of fresh ingredients and you get to pick all toppings! They do have vegan cheese and gluten free dough if you wish to have it. Staff were super friendly and we met the owners!! My whole family got to have their very own customized pizza and the bill was about $30 less than going to the national chain pizza places. Oh yeah... they have Maui Brewing Co. on tap!! The family agreed that we should definitely go back again!
