Mr Tire came thru when all others could not. They had my size tire in stock and put it on quickly. They did an amazing job. Even went the extra mile and torqued my other tires. I will definitely return! 👏😍❤

SCAM ALERT!!! They tried to charge me $600 for an oil change and inspection, saying my front driver side blah blah blah something and something were bad. The last time I brought my vehicle here was about 3 years ago and I kid you not they tried to get about $600 out of me then too. Ever since this location changed from Appalachian Tire to Mr Tire, its become nothing but a scam shop. Im not even mad at them. Thieves are thieves. Im mad at myself for giving them another chance. But just like last time, all I wasted was my own time. And just like last time, a place up the road a little further laughed and said theres nothing wrong with it as they put a new sticker on. I will never make the mistake of giving Mr Tire another chance. Ever.

It was a much better service experience than with Monro. Mr. Tire did honor my coupon by checking & rotating my tires as well as changed my oil. Great price for discount coupon . I did arrive on time for my 8am appointment, however, my 2017 Nissan Versa didnt get seen until almost 40 minutes after I arrived. Luckily, I was off work and was able to wait in the lobby area. Left the store at 920am. The coupon said no waiting. I guess it depends on the day of your appointment or lack of enough mechanics to accommodate each customer. Overall, I will be back when oil change is due again.

Last week, Mr. Tire tried to steal $600 from my 18 year old son. He was experiencing some squeaky brake issues, and Mr. Tire said he needed new brakes and rotors and the total cost would be $600. He took his car to another tire shop in Charleston, and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes. I think this speaks to the moral compass of this company.....in that they are willing to take advantage of a young teenager trying to make a living. WATCH OUT YALL!!!!!!!

Right at almost 4 thousand dollars later had to be the rudest place Ive been in for a long time. Walked in the and got a can I help you and before could get it out he said he couldnt do anything till Tuesday. That was repeated three times. I spent over 1800.00 dallars on tires and rims and he never offered to look at them . They were pulled off and in the back of my truck. One is all it needed was a valve stem the other a ug. When bought tires was supposed to have road hazard found out today that was not on there. I never buy tires without road hazard.. anyways it goes on but I wont be back. They mest up twice and beat me out of a 200.00 dallar rebate also. Rant over Tim Adkins

Went in for 4 new tires, sales person was very pushy with all of these extras they just tack on automatically. Okay I get it, theyre commission based... You have a right to say no and they need to make a living too. They told me my brakes were almost metal to metal and needed replacement immediately. Car has 30,000 miles on it and when I took the wheels off at home to check they had 6-8mm all around (2mm is minimum spec) PLENTY OF LIFE LEFT!!! Dont fear sell because it leads to negative reviews like this!

When I purchased my tires I was given a 25% discount on my entire bill (oil change, new tires, alignment) because they had my vehicle 6 hours and never touched it. This trip, it took them 2.5 hours to change the oil and rotate and balance 4 tires. One was brand new. The gentleman told multiple customers they weren’t busy at that time as well. $27 more dollars for the oil change than my usual place. Buying tires from this place is the worst vehicle purchase I’ve ever made. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. These guys are so disorganized, calling them clowns would be an upgrade.

No issues with my vehicle until I took it for a simple oil change, two weeks later my car breaks down apparently I need an axel/ball joint, and something else for which was never mentioned in thier standard oil change policy, most of the staff is ok just certain individuals that present a very unwelcoming presence to certain individuals that only God can fix.

Purchased new tires with road hazard warranty, front breaks, and had an alignment. Excellent service. Competitive and fair prices. Have been going there for years and never disappointed.

This was a good place to get your vehicle worked on when it was a Good-Year store. And I used them for years for all of my vehicles. Once it changed hands to Mr. Tire, the service has gone steadily downhill.At this point, I would not recommend that you use them to service your car.After todays visit, I will be looking elsewhere for my automotive/truck servicing needs. My evaluation is that this store suffers from very poor management.

Nice place very friendly

Waited a few hours to have a wheel bearing changed, it wasnt their fault, had a bunch minor issues with the specific model of car I had but I got the new wheel bearing fixed in no time after they got the part. They had to order it a through a few different places but finally got it from Mitsubishi & the part itself was 300 but they kept the price the same for me waiting so long. That was a really good & honest move. I highly recommend them.

The employees were friendly and knowledgeable about vehicles. However, I did not appreciate that no employees or customers had masks on (except for me). I did not feel very safe in that environment. The service was slower than anticipated due to a mechanic calling in the past 3 days. If I get covid, this will be where I contracted it.

I am happy to have started bringing my car here! The first time, I dropped my car off for an oil change. I work nearby, and it was convenient. I previously got my oil changed elsewhere, and my low oil level light continued to come on. Turns out, the previous shop was putting 2 quarts short what my car requires. Mr. Tire informed me when picking it up, my car requires 7 quarts. I decided to go back today to replace my front tires and have my car aligned. The employees were excellent communicating with me the status of my car. They called when it was ready. When I came to pick it up, I was told my car didnt need alignment so they removed it from the bill. I went in fully prepared to pay for it, but they were honest! I am so grateful for the honesty and service I received. Ive always hated servicing my car, because I am usually told I need services which arent necessary to drive up my total. Overall the service was great, and I feel like the prices are reasonable. I trust taking my car here over anywhere else in the valley. Mr. Tire will continue to receive my business!

I was traveling through WV and something felt strange with my car. I pulled in to Mr. Tire and was greeted immediately by the guy at the desk, when I walked through the door. In no time the problem had been diagnosed which luckily for me was only low air in my tires and was taken care of. The guys were all very nice; made me feel welcomed and that I was important to their business. I would recommend Mr. Tire to anyone who may need service. Again thanks for all the help!

I have been a customer for a long time. My work requires that I drive quite a lot and I always have my car serviced at this store. I have gotten to know the staff and they always give me the best service available. I trust the mechanics and they always let me know if there are any problems that need to be corrected. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. I recommend this store to my friends and family whenever they need to have their cars repaired.

I have only had good experiences at Mr. Tire on Kanawha Blvd. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had my tires replaced here for a reasonable price. A few weeks later, one of the new tires was leaking due to a broken valve stem. They fixed the tire very quickly and did not charge me. Very good business and I will be back if I have issues with my cars.

I had a flat and went here as a recommendation. They were very busy but still got me worked in to replace my tire. The man at the front desk was very nice.

The mechanic failed my car for inspection. I took my car to a mechanic and showed him what the guy said was wrong with my car and my mechanic just laughed and said theres nothing wrong with any of that on that paper. Like any other garage in KANAWHA county, anything to have them fix your car. Bad service and full of it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE FOR AN INSPECTION.

The Service was great and staff was super friendly. My tire size is non standard and the other stores I called all were more expensive and also could not install it the same day. MR. Tire had me back on the road quickly. I would recommend them to anyone in need of tires.

I’ve always gone to this location for repairs, regular maintenance, and tires. I have consistently had a positive experience. Each person that has helped me has taken the time to explain to me exactly what is being done and why it is necessary (which is SO appreciated, because I am not exactly car savvy). Though they can appear expensive, that is simply the nature of their business. A huge thank you to these guys for taking care of me each and every time!

Have only been here twice, but both times were positive experiences. The second time I was there, the bill was 200 or so more than expected, as a particular bolt or something was rusted and not able to be removed as easily as they expected. When I expressed my surprise as the bill, without a second thought he reduced the bill when I showed him the estimate from the first time I was there and telling him I was not expecting something quite that high. Something like that will keep me coming back.

I needed tires quick, they had to order them which was no big deal and the price was decent, However they have a big problem with Hispanics, the guy at the front desk, Brett was his name if I remember correctly, he treated my husband terrible. My husband is from Puerto Rico, he was very rude to my husband they charged me for a part that I didnt even need, without even calling me first to see what i wanted to do. I will NEVER GO BACK. I would not recommend them, they are crooks!!! Save your money and go to a reputable place of buisness. If I could give no stars I would. NEVER GO HERE.

Great place to get hassle free auto services. They gave me a $10 coupon to use on my oil change, which was awesome. Their prices are prominently displayed as soon as you walk in the door, so you feel like everything is up front and non-shady before they even take your car back.

I made an appointment two days ahead of time. They canceled it when I showed up. They said they were too busy. No one bothered to call me and tell me before I drove all the way there for nothing. I wont go back.

This store was recommended to me by my friend. It was my first time visiting this shop and it won’t be the last! Brett and his crew took great care of me and my car. I was just there for an inspection but I plan on making this Mr. Tire my go to car shop.

I’ve used these mechanics for many many years, I’ve never had a bad experience with Mr. Tire store 1514. I really like that they offer Saturday hours. Great mechanics that work on great timelines, for great prices.

Ive only been to this shop once, but they were fantastic. My tire has been patched THREE times over the last month by a different shop, so I wanted to try something else. I actually just stopped here for air in my tire but they offered to fix it for free since the other place had charged me to essentially not fix it.

Every time I tried to call and schedule an appointment by selecting from the options given (1,2,3,4) it told me my choice was invalid and wouldn’t send me to a real person. I tried 4 times.

Well, came in on Saturday to get an inspection sticker. I knew my back brakes were getting close but they weren’t metal to metal or anything. They came back quoting me saying I had to have back brakes and routers plus the front for $897!!!! 😳😳😳 I told them no way. My husband rechecked everything and front were fine but getting a little worn. He called around and auto zone had front and back with routers for $300. I’m sorry but their price is just astonishing high and ridiculous. sadly many people don’t know how to put brakes on or check around for a better price. On a good note, at least they do inspect everything for an inspection and they are friendly but not $897 friendly.

Good deals when you catch a sale... But avoid them for oil changes. I tried them for a promo oil change of $15.99 (normally 25.00) and was surprised when I studied the bill. Unlike other places that include everything in the price, Mr Tire still charged parts/labor for oil filter (4.99), then added environmental recycle fee (2.90), plus a final shop fee (4.68). Sure I saved around 15 off a oil change, but by the time you add all the extras in your better off going elsewhere. Yes other shops do this kinda thing too! But thats the shops to avoid, not everybody has fees like this. A conventional oil change at regular prices with all fees and taxes included is roughly $40 😣

I needed a tire and after calling several places I was either told they didn’t sell Dunlop tires or couldnt get my size... I called Mr Tire and the gentlemen that took my call was very knowledgeable in the tire, size and brand. Put me on hold for a few min came back and told me when he could get the tire and the cost. Very nice and friendly shame that’s not the case for the others I called(most anyway) Very Satisfied Thank!!

We were traveling from Columbus, Ohio and got a flat in Charleston. The service was speedy and we got in right away to get a tire change. On a long distance trip in an unexpected situation, the service this store provided really made the best of our situation and we were back on route in less than an hour!

Well, I actually spoke to several mechanics here that said that they/Mr. Tire charges two to three times more for their labor and parts then any local tire brake store in Charleston West Virginia. Ya-see, Mr Tire is out of New York and they think that they can charge the same prices here in Charleston WV that they charge in New York here? ...Sadly, I get the we regret bologna, but come on guys... at least be competitive and stop ripping off your customers. What I will do is price around, again on my vehicle in the future, and if youve changed your dastardly ways, then Ill do my best to bring in more customers. Cool?

Came in after a bolt had pierced my tire, and Mr. Tire manager Brett took care of me right away, and even offered to do my inspection (which I hadn’t even noticed was expiring!) & oil change at the same time. Win win instead of a bad afternoon. Also, I couldn’t find my registration and Brett accepted the authorized receipt of the copy I ordered off of the dmv website. The place is friendly, professional, courteous and efficient.

Would’ve gave 0 stars. Told me I had two front bent rims and that my tires weren’t balanced. I ordered the rims online and went to get them put on at a different shop only for the mechanics to ask me why I thought I needed new rims since mine were fine and that my tires STILL weren’t balanced after the Mr.Tire told me they fixed them.
