The staff is really easy to work with. I have bought beds from original mattress since 1994. I bought another last week and they did not pressure sell anything or any price level. They said this row is this much this row is this much and if you have lots of money this row is this much. Take your time and let me know if you like anything. I was able to get the bed I wanted and they delivered it to my daughters college 120 miles away the next day. The drivers were respectful and checked there shoes wore masks. They gave good time frame updates. The service was so good we went back and ordered another bed for my other daughter and it will be delivered next week.

Poor shopping experience. I went in to take a look at a mattress today with every intent in purchasing. That is until the sales man basically forced me to go through his sales pitch and neglected the fact I wanted to take a look. Sales 101 LISTEN! He was very abrasive and unwelcoming.I literally reached out and touched a mattress with my hand and was scolded and told if I want to touch them that I would have to put a sheet in the bed. I was not trying to sit or lay on the bed.As a sales professional for many years this experience has caused me to look else where for a mattress. Wouldn’t recommend this location if your looking for a positive experience.

Im an original mattress factory customer for life. Had pain in my shoulder so bad and lost half my movement and ready to go to the doctors. Than got one of their mattresses and the pain was gone in days. Then got a cheap box spring for my son that broke in a month from another store. Just bought an original mattress factory basic box spring and could instantly tell the quality was so much better.

I had a fantastic experience here, which was my first time buying from this company. The salesman we dealt with was great - knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, etc. Were very happy with the mattress we purchased, and I feel like the price was very fair and a good bit less than if we bought from a national chain. They were even good with my three kids who were all in energetic moods. The sales rep also inspected the mattress before loading it into my truck and in fact he found a minor defect and thus traded that one out and made sure I had one with no defects. I like that they manufacture the mattresses right here and like supporting a local business rather than a chain. This will definitely be my first stop the next time we need another mattress.

Our mattress has not yet been delivered but we had an excellent experience at this store shopping for our mattress. I was actually dreading the process of shopping for a mattress but our salesperson, Sam Ewing, made it absolutely painless. Sam was low key, yet very knowledgeable and efficient in working with us. He shared the history of the company, pointed out the differences in the different mattresses as well as the types of mattresses offered by some online stores. Sam covered the exchange policy and 12 year guarantee.He led us on a quick tour of the manufacturing shop, which was of interest to my husband. He answered all of our questions knowledgeably and listened to all of of our comments. He was then able to guide us towards the mattress best suited for our needs. We like the fact that our mattress is being made locally. It will be delivered in a few days.

Very helpful staff and honest low prices. No sales and no gimmicks. Went to mattress firm and a couple other places to compare. I cant believe the markup at other places! We are definitely going to buy a mattress from The Original Mattress Company. We were encouraged to spend 15 minutes resting on each. We were also given a tour of their factory. Very intriguing!

The delivery guys pulled off the coverings off before I had a chance to accept the delivery. When I realized the box springs were not correct I called the store and they saidBecause the coverings had been removed there was nothing they could do. Do not buy from here.

Terrible customer service. The salesperson was very rude to us. My husband and I were about to spend $1650 on a mattress but when my husband asked if they could give us 2 pillows with the deal the salesperson very rudely said that they don’t do that. The thing is, both pillows were about $20 dollars, which for the company it might cost $5 to make it. I wonder how many more sales they are losing because of that.

I will not get my mattresses anywhere else. Nearly every part of their products (steel to linens) are sourced in the USA!

I am very happy with the product. The delivery men were friendly and on time. My only hesitation with the purchasing process was that the sales associate in the store was not proficient on the computer or with the system. Happy to report that despite that, we got exactly what we ordered.

Theyre not bad people they just do not know how to communicate. Their one-year warranty is not really a warranty so dont depend on it. I believe what they said but it ended up costing me a $1,000 that I basically just threw away.

My husband and I purchased a queen size mattress from the original mattress company about six months ago. We have had a good nights rest every single night since our purchase.Before the original mattress company, we tried Macys, the mattress firm, mattress plus, and we were so unhappy. All we talked about was how sore our backs were, how awful we slept, and how tired we were in the morning. But now, thanks to the original mattress company, we both sleep very comfortably, and wake up refreshed and renewed. Every single day!

This is a representation of my mattress, not the company. Overall I am disappointed. I got a $1,300 mattress that feels nothing like the one in the store location. It is much harder, and after 6 months was less comfortable than my previous mattress. Store representative told me it took time for it to break in. Yeah, not so much. From a quality perspective, the mattress has no defects, but the comfort level was so bad I had to add a 3” mattress topper. I have learned my lesson, and will not invest in products that do not have a better comfort/ satisfaction warranty.

Descent beds at a reasonable price, but not as good as brand name mattresses

Worst experience ever - do not buy one! We shopped every mattress provider to find a replacement for our beloved pillow top. We chose the Original Mattress Company and their pillow top Luxury mattress based on what we thought was a reputable company who used only high quality materials and construction. We tested out all kinds of mattresses including the sleep number and decided on this one. What we didnt realize was their customer service is the PITS! When the mattress arrived we contacted the store and asked why it felt SO different from what we laid on in the show room. We were told it would settle and to give our bodies time to adjust to it. Well, after just 90 days, this mattress had very deep impressions, grooves even from where my husband and I lay while sleeping. They were so deep that we took pictures and contacted the store again. This time we were told someone would need to come to our one to inspect the mattress. He gingerly led us to believe that maybe we just chose the wrong type of mattress and should move up to highest quality mattress they sell which would cost us another $700 put of pocket plus delivery charges. We just want the mattress we thought we were buying so we said no, perhaps the mattress was poorly constructed and being only 90 days old, no mattress should look like this. What we were told was that they would send a truck to pick up our mattress to take back to the warehouse. There they would take it apart and determine if it was correctly made and if not, would correct it and bring it back in couple days. And just what were we supposed to sleep on during this time? The floor? The couch? Are you kidding me??? Its not even 90 days old - its the holidays and Im not one to even return my food to the kitchen must less my mattress? No thanks. Well then we were told the impressions were visible but not deep enough to warrant a replacement. REALLY? So were stuck with a mattress thats now 6 months old with impressions now 1.5 inches deep before we lay down. The middle of the mattress is a hill from top to bottom of hard packed material. The sides where we sleep are so deep that when you lay down you have to roll up the center hill just to roll over. and the sides are sucked so far in that you cant roll over. Even with the bed made with fluffy down comforters, you can visibly see this hill and the side impressions. So how deep do they need to be? When we finally find out well include that in our next post and report to the Better Business Bureau. In the mean time, I hope this will help others who just want a good nights sleep. Everyone should know what a horrible experience this has been.

We purchased a mattress and boxsprings on 3-28-15 (invoice # W3229). We were told by the salesman, Cedric Rush, that if we wanted to switch to a low rise box spring within 30 days he would make that exchange for free. I called on the 28th day to make that switch and was told we misunderstood and there would be a 25% charge for the cost of a boxspring, a $45.00 delivery charge and another charge.I spoke with Jay Slone, the store manager and Keith Baker, one of the regional owners and neither one would make any kind of accommodation. That is not consistant with the win win mission statement. We would have been happy if they agreed to split the cost.For approximately $60.00, you are costing yourself many negative comments we will make. Anyone who asks us for a reference we will tell them of our dissatisfaction.Hope that was a win win for you!!!!!
