Thank you Piedmont Eye Care for a very positive experience during my recent annual exam. Dr. Scott Philippe, OD and his team were very attentive to my eye strain problem and dedicated the necessary time to find just the right prescription solution to meet my needs. Brandon efficiently placed the new prescription in my eyeglass frames, and was kind enough to place the old lenses in another old frame so that I could have a spare set of emergency glasses. Everyones friendliness, professionalism and kindness was appreciated greatly!

Great experience, very knowledgeable doctors and staff. Kris was very helpful in picking out new glasses and found me the most comfortable pair I have ever had. Julian brought the glasses out to be fitted in my car so that I didnt have to disturb my my sleeping infant. Wonderful service!

We called and immediately were cared for by Stacy who compassionately and professionally cared for her and took us through the steps to secure a visit within the hour. I managed to sit on my VERY pricey prescription eyeglasses (worth every penny I might add) which left the frame completely out of whack. I ran over there on a whim this afternoon to see if they could be adjusted for me. Julian Velasco greeted me in the parking lot, took my sunglasses, and came out five minutes later with them fully adjusted and back to normal. He did a great job. I love this place.

The entire staff from was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. The technician, Ben, explained all the equipment and initial tests which was appreciated. Dr. Major provided a recommendation for my long-term allergies that lead to major eye irritation, and explained my lopsided vision (minor farsighted in one eye and very minor nearsighted in the other). Finally, Shaina was great going over my options for both glasses and prescription sunglasses.

I recently called to schedule appointments for my 2 children, 8 & 11. After scheduling the appointments online, which was a very nice feature, I received a phone call from the office to confirm. I confirmed the appointment and then I had the lady ask me if I had two adults coming with me to the appointment. I told her it was just myself and she than told me that as I was with one child the other would have to wait in the waiting room by themselves. I said that was fine for my older one but after my younger one sees the doctor he could just stay in the exam room with myself and his brother. The lady told me that was not possible due to social distancing and too many people in the exam room. I just reiterated the fact that the doctor just saw my younger son and what was the big deal. She again said that was the policy. I clearly dont understand it especially since you are required to mask up while in the office. For this level of stupidity, I decided to go to another practice because Im not leaving an 8 year unattended. She then told me well you can bring the other back on another day...you know I work too lady!

The customer service at Piedmont EyeCare is second to none. Everyone is extremely helpful and attentive to your needs. Especially Brandon and Julian. They both went above and beyond to ensure I had a replacement pair while my new lens were being made. Thanks guys!!!!

As a long-time client, I am consistently impressed by the staff at Piedmont. Of course I love Dr. Johnson, but the rest of the staff is equally impressive. Drew made me feel very comfortable and was very personable and thorough with my initial examination. Michaela was so nice when completing all of my initial testing. I have to give a special shout out to Julian! This is the second time he has helped me pick out glasses, including prescription sunnies and computer glasses. He is very in tune with what I wanted and while I was in my exam, he hand-picked a selection for me and there was not a bad choice! All were spot on with my style. Today Was my first time at the Blakeney location and I highly recommend them. I met with Dr Major and she was so sweet and easy to talk to. They did certain test that I’ve never done before and it really made me feel they go all out to make sure everything is ok with your vision. When it came time to pick a pair of glass I had the pleasure of working with Kris Jusino. I really enjoyed chatting with her while looking for the right pair. She picked out some great frames for me to try on and was even honest with me on what looked good and what didn’t. Which I appreciated. I’ve already recommended them to my husband and my mom. I definitely will be going back every year for my check ups

It’s sad for me give a bad review of the Blakeney location. I went in to get an eye exam in April and got a new pair of glasses, the prescription was so strong and caused me headaches everyday. The same doctor did a re-exam in May and replaced the lenses, but the prescription was still far off. They refused to change again and asked me to try the glasses for longer time and adjust my eyes to get use to the glasses. The glasses are really uncomfortable. I had to make an appointment at another store to get the correct prescription. After that when I call them to see if I can replace the lenses with the new prescription they stopped taking my calls and never called me back. I highly recommend anyone to go and get eye examination in this location to be careful, the doctor tent to give strong prescriptions and that could easily cause headaches and even migraines

I have been with Piedmont EyeCar for about 5 years now and I am as satisfied now as I was the first visit. The doctors (specifically Dr. Johnson) have always exhibited extreme knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. The staff (specifically Julian, Ben, Jordan, and the front desk) are a reflection of the great people Piedmont EyeCare has on its staff. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Start to finish my experience at Piedmont was outstanding. The tech that did my testing, the intern I worked with before seeing Dr Major, and then Brandon that helped me pick my frames- all of them well exceeded my expectations. On my most recent experience, I was notified that things were changing with my eyes now that I am in my 50s. Dr. Sheth took good care of me and then handed me off to Kris in the glasses department to get me set up for some great sunglasses to protect my eyes from further sun damage. Great service!

Since recently relocating to Charlotte I needed a new eye doctor. I can’t say enough high praise about PiedmontEyecare. Dr. Major took her time and made sure my prescription was accurate. Ally (front desk) was always very helpful with any follow up calls and made sure I had the correct contact lens samples. Brandon was unbelievably helpful with my new glasses. He spent quite a bit of time over several visits to make sure I was 100% happy with my new glasses! I am definitely a happy customer with this entire practice!

Chris, in the glasses dept, has alway been great to work with. I recently got a scratch on a lens. Julian ordered a replacement pair, no charge. New lenses arrived quickly and Julian swapped them out in 5 mins. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have been coming here for many many years and have always had a great experience. Dr. Johnson is an amazing doctor and is always up to speed on the latest technology. The optical department is great with a huge selection of beautiful glasses. I work with Julian, who knows absolutely everything about glasses. He will fit you with the exact pair that fit your face shape and coloring. Most importantly, in my opinion, is that he will tell you the truth. If a certain pair of glasses don’t look good on you, he will tell you. That is something I really appreciate. He’s awesome!

Was very impressed by the cleaning and disinfecting procedures to keep everyone in the office safe. The staff there was welcoming and friendly. After seeing Dr. Major, who is awesome, I met with Kris J. to get glasses. She was so sweet and patient, helping me pick the right computer glasses...she knew what I was looking for and gave me an honest opinion. I picked a very cool and funky pair of red, cat eye frames. Kris showed me additional frames on the computer that were not in stock. I fell in love with a particular frame, but since they werent in stock, I couldnt try on. She ordered a sample and I was able to try them on when I picked up my new computer glasses. Loved them! Ill be buying those frames next time when I go in for an updated everyday prescription. Kris went the extra mile to order a sample for me... I greatly appreciated it. Hope to see her again when I go back in a year or so for my next pair.

The staff and Julian were also really good with getting me checked in, checked out, and making sure I understood my insurance coverage. Everyone was very friendly! My reading glasses were in need of repair because of a broken hinge. Julian called me right back and said to head over, where he turned the repair around in a matter of minutes with kindness and professionalism. What can I say! I took my son here as a new patient and we were blown away with absolute kindness and understanding and everyone was down to earth- it was quite refreshing. The practitioner -sorry I forget her name- she is the one who did the color blind testing last and things- very thorough. The doctor was well versed and was very good at exposing things and explained that contacts would be a good decision for him - due to my son plays sports- which - I didn’t sign him up for a contact appointment- so they fit him in the schedule for a contact class and he met with Kellie - who my goodness was fantastic and patient as the day is long- my son walked out with contacts. But wait - let’s not forget he got glasses! That’s a whole process as well! Kris- she is an expert in her own right - patient and has an eye for eye ware and was able to honestly judge what truly looked good on his face shape- I must say from beginning to the end it was truly a painless experience. I honestly was hesitant at picking this provider due to it was a bigger provider - that means nothing here- you didn’t feel rushed like you were just a number. We feel like we were people here - moving to Charlotte from a smaller community- it means a lot. We are grateful for the experience. My daughter had an appointment next week for her contacts as well!!

Shaina was excellent today! She brought my glasses out to my car so I didn’t have to get out my car and limited my exposure! She made sure of a proper fit and great look for my new Maui Jim sunglasses before leaving!When I came to look at glasses, I didn’t have my prescription from my optometrist but Shaina recorded what I liked and took all the necessary measurements. Then I was able to email her my insurance information and prescription and pay over the phone to order them without having to make a trip back to the office. Outstanding customer service and convenience (or am I just lazy but I don’t live close by lol)!!

The staff at Piedmont Eyecare took extra time to ensure I had a thorough eye exam, spent time discussing my results in detail and answering my questions and provided me with the best options for seeing better. I highly recommend this facility!!

Dr. Sheth and everyone I saw today was amazing! Personable, friendly and Dr. Sheth made sure to give an in depth explanation throughout the exam. Eye exams can sometimes be awkward but I felt at such ease here . Also, Brandon helped me pick out great frames and was patient and so helpful!

Julian was so kind and helpful! My husbands glasses had broke and Julian was able to find frames that fit my husbands lens. My husband was so excited! Thank you Julian!!

Five star treatment!!! This was by far the best experience I’ve had in the last decade. I went for a routine eye exam. I was extremely pleased with the extra, yet necessary precaution the office was taking due to the pandemic. They sanitized and cleaned EVERYTHING.Loved working with Dr Johnson and his team. Every person I interacted with greeted me warmly, made me feel comfortable and at ease. Allie was very efficient over the phone and set up my appointment quickly. Shaina helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. And to the young lady who helped prep me for Dr Johnson, she did a phenomenal job with the initial screenings. They were efficient and extremely professional. Highly recommend this practice.

Me and my kids come here for our annual eye exams and glasses/contacts. We always feel comfortable. Today I went in to see if they could help me replace a ray ban sunglass lens. I was helped immediately by Julian and he was able to order the lenses for me. When they arrive at the store, they will contact me and put them in for me. Great Customer service at this place. Especially the Blakeney Location. He was the one that originally sold me the sunglasses. I was so happy to see that he was still there! Better than ever customer service!!

Had an awesome experience. Everyone professional and courteous. Dr. Patel in particular is great! Also worked with Kris picking out new glasses and she is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process.
