New Elephant Resale has many great items. Seems like all the employees do not wear mask.New Elephant Resale please support your community by wearing a mask!!!!
This place is sick. Why have I never been here before?? The guy running the shop has some great connections to collectors and vintage sources. He was also able to give me some history on the various items I bought. They have reasonable prices and quite an interesting collection.
Weve purchased several things there. The has been great.
Nick is a wonderful proprietor. Very helpful and MOST kind. Wishing him much success!
I live close to this shop and have casually strolled in a couple times during Corona.Let me say that, first of all, that I am not interested in shopping here anymore.COVID--The staff all do not wear masks to both set a good example, protect themselves and, most importantly, protect their customers from the people they are coming into contact on the daily. Not following the general precautions makes this place a hot spot, so if you feel uncomfortable during COVID, dont shop here. Not only that, other thrift shops have been reorganizing their shops to have wider isles and arrows to lead people in a clockwise direction. They dont have any of this and one of the re-stockers that kept flying hither and thither in the small isles, in-between customers (additionally while not wearing a mask), gave me such attitude that I was in his way. I was shopping and looking at items on a shelf! Re-arrange the isles to be wider and wear a mask!I do agree that their prices are overpriced here for what they have. If you shop at the local charity donating thrift shop, Brown Elephant, which isnt too much farther, youll find a similar item listed for $2-5 (that is listed maybe $20-30 here), their staff is all so pleasant, their staff all wear masks, and they have the shop mapped out wider and with arrows for general direction. You can additionally find the same items, but cheaper on Facebook Marketplace or Ebay.
Imagine discovering a hidden treasure chest and being starstruck in awe over the copious gems of vast variety. That is the closest I can get to describing the feeling one gets upon entering the emporium that is the New Elephant.
2 stars for the products: sometimes there are great finds, its not cheap, its on par with Ebay prices, but you dont have to pay the shipping fees. Only 2 stars because the people who work there do no wear any mask, would touch their face, then touch your credit card. They would yell on each other and talk to you up close without any mask, honestly it was concerning. Since the space is so small its literally scary if you dont want to catch COVID.
Sweetest owner ever. I found so many things that I love!! I highly recommend coming here.
Nice place and helpful and friendly staff. The only drawback is that their ask-price is usually high and you definitely should negotiate on the price.
Tried to do some shopping here but a sales associate told me that my disabled two year old daughter was not welcomed there because of her special needs.Your demeanor and lack of empathy was enough to never make me want to come back to your establishment. To my understanding any public place should be up to ada standards and apparently you are not. How have you been able to keep your doors open without being sued or reported?
I was surprised to find New Elephant had so few reviews. I almost don’t want to post a rating to keep this spot to myself. This is an awesome vintage store with beautiful pieces, priced to sell, in a building with an interesting story behind it. The store clerk was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.
I had I had a wonderful time there. We were looking for specific items. They are so nice and friendly in this place. I will truly come back again. We were looking for teapots and teacups. You found exactly what you were looking for and I will be back to this place.it is nicely stopped on the floor everything is just fantastic yes we will be back
Love this shop! Beautiful furniture. Vintage shop with an Egyptian motif!
This is a great store. The staff is friendly and always helpful. They have an eclectic mix of everything with great pricing. Plus they give to youth charities which makes it more appealing to go there. Check them out you wont be disappointed.
This place has no class, dirty and also very rude workers and the stuff inside is over priced. NO GOOD place to shop! 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Some cute finds and bargain prices. Ive found a couple of great necklaces for $4 and two great frames.
Great store! Found adorable jumper for $7. Cute Boho style furniture finds and super sweet staff!
Sweet spot to find random cool stuff and decor. Reasonable prices. Its also in an awesome historic building.
This is a relatively new store (as of March 2017) which a great selection of furniture and trinkets. There are some clothes and books, but this place is mostly for furniture, household decoration, and more. Check it out!
Great finds in a beautiful setting. Always something unique. Fun helpful staff.
A wonderful shop with reasonable prices and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delivery available for bigger stuff. Just go already.
A teeny bit better for a thrift store, especially odd-end furniture, but it is crowded and harder to shop.
Its so much fun looking around here!
Clean shop with lots off great priced furniture and household furnishings.
Nice place friendly staff interesting items!! Found a few gems!!
A quaint second hand store with products that are full of history.
BEAUTIFUL store and lovely customer service thank you!! I will be back.
Very nice staff, but didnt find what I was looking for.
The isles are narrow, but there are piles of treasure to sift through.
This place is very expensive and unorganized
