My wife picked up a couple of items from here--ham and cheese croissant and a coconut tart--and brought them for us to have together. Everything was very tasty and flavorful. Bread was a very good texture. Seems like a nice patisserie.

Pretty good bakery !We had a pain au chocolat and a croissant.As a French native I can say that there are pretty good, the taste is buttery and there are fluffy as it should ;).Tha pain au chocolat was great and the chocolat bar inside taste like my childhood;)The puff pastry is tricky but they did a good job, could look slightly upscale with a better touring technique BUT they are great !!

The most beautiful desserts, the best part is that they are not only pretty but also very tasty too. A good selection of patisserie.My recommendations are the Tiramisu and the Passion fruit tart

My macarons were both crunchy and crispy. They were not the normal consistency a macaron should be. I’ve had better macarons frozen from a grocery store. I also bought a cookie and it was hard as a rock. Total waste of my money

I ordered this cake on their website with an easy breezy process. Hubs and I picked it up on the day we got married in court. The cake was just how I ordered and absolutely delicious with white cake, vanilla bean fillings and fresh strawberries. Highly recommend.

Idk but they have some of the BEST cheesecake I’ve ever had 🤤 spent roughly $30 on 4 small edible pieces of artwork, worth every penny. In 2020 can we all focus more on quality vs quantity??

Always a great experience! Vanille has the best pistachio macarons I’ve had in the city, the fruit tarts are delicious, and their buche de Noel is a crowd pleaser around the holidays.

Bought a Le Brownie to go... there was a chocolate brownie at the bottom with a velvety mousse, hazelnuts and a ganache. So amazing...

We went there with lot of hope to order a cake from far distance. The lady at the shop was not willing to give her service or take an order.. We just wanted to order a cake. There was no brochures and no options. Even we agreed to wait for 48 hours and asked about a chocolate cake. But she told at the end only one kind of cake i.e some vanilla chocolate which was on display at the moment can be prepared without any option. They cannot prepare a cake even in 48 hours for any occasion? finally we made it to magnolia bakery which was very nice place and delivered it in next 24 hours only..The last st the counter on Wednesday evening, her attitude was not customer centric or helpful. You wont get variety of cakes in this center for any occasion. You can get only limited option and only pastries.Dont go there. I would like to give zero star. Very bad customer service.

The most amazing desserts. The desserts are small works of art. I love bringing these for birthdays, anniversaries, promotions or other celebrations. They make any occasion special. They look too good to eat and taste even more incredible.

I usually love Vanille but today I visited the Lincoln Park location and Janette (long dark hair) was EXTREMELY rude to me. Snapping at me for no reason when I came to pick up a cake I ordered because she couldn’t find it. Very rude. I won’t be going back.

The pastries are beautiful looking, but the macarons we purchased were somewhat dry and crackling in an unpleasant way, with rather unimpressive flavor (gingerbread had a bit of an off bitter taste, raspberry didn’t have much fruit flavor to it), either a technique or freshness issue, regardless a macaron I wouldn’t try again.

Seriously people - these are called MACARONS. They are not macaroons, which is a completely different thing. I understand these are incredibly difficult to make, hence why they are so outrageously expensive, but there are a ton of delectable pastries and desserts to choose from here - if you like that kind of thing.

Everything is amazing. Nothing is too sweet- which I hate for my pastries. The macroons are rich chewy and creamy all at the same time... I dont know what they do to it but its the best Ive had in Chicago.

The presentation of the desserts are all great, but the delivery is lacking on the taste. The individual cakes are good, but the cupcakes are dry and really mediocre. I dont even like the frosting on their cupcakes. Macarons are alright, but I would just stick with one of the richer cakes.

Everyone should know about the location North Clybourn. Here is the satellite location closer to the loop. The sweets are not too sweet but the chocolate is out of this world. I love the deserts and will take one home to surprise the better half. If you ride the Metra, you have no excuse but to go to the French Market and treat yourself to some french inspired goodness.

We tried 6 macarons (rose, red velvet, black currant, vanilla, mango passionfruit, and salted caramel) and only one was stale/old. We were disappointed, but didnt want to make a fuss with the cashier. However, we will be coming back for the rose water macaron!! It was such a delicate flavor with the mimosa amazing buttercream filling that melted in your mouth. Hands down one of the best tasting macaron we have had yet.

I love the macarons here but I wish they had a few more flavors. Im also a fan of buttercream filling and most of these have some sort of jam. The entremets are good, especially the chocolate. I havent had the cupcakes so I cant comment on those.

If you like whipped frosting that is basically tasteless, youll love these cupcakes. The red velvet macarons were delicious, but all the macarons with the whipped filling were mehhh

Did not live up to the hype. Cupcake fairly tasteless (but expensive at $6.50). Macaroons are okay but Ive had better. Too expensive for the quality.

My personal favorites are the royal, passionfruit tart, and ambre. All unique, all incredible.
