Best pawn shop in Chicago when it comes to fair exchange. Even if they can’t take your item they’re good at helping find an alternative for you. I’ve been going here for years because in a clutch they always give me exactly what I need and it’s never too much to get back my pawned merchandise. Plus they’re funny, friendly and I always feel welcomed.

I got good money for my gold chains. They gave me more than I was offered downtown. Dont waste your time somewhere else.

Came here a few times to pawn different objects. Overall, If you have electronics or a game system I suggest going to the EZ pawn on 48th Ashland. You’ll get a lot more.Edit: It’s courteous of the owner to reply, but that’s just false. This store is convenient when you’re in a jam, but overall EZ pawn gives better prices for electronics. You gave me $80 for something you went on to sell for $250. I know you sold it for $250, because I know the person who bought it from you. I asked for $100. You actually told me $80 was a deal and you could really give me $70. That’s a petty business practice. EZ pawn is better.

Everytime I have visited United Loan Pawn Shop, I was always treated with respect. Their staff is knowledgeable and they have a wide variety of items to sell. They also give you a fair loan on your items. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Theyre awesome in my opinion.

I had a good experience here. The store is run by a brother and sister team with their mother still coming down on occasion. They seem pretty fair and honest. It is nice to have a business that has been in the community for so long and I was surprised that they seemed to know many of the customers by name and the customers knew them. This was my first time pawning and they made me comfortable with the process. The deals of the items they sell cant be beat. A friend recently bought their wedding rings here and they were just beautiful, plus the price was amazing.

Told me I had to be 18 or older I was just trying to make a quick 100 dollars with stuff that had more value and they didnt help me out

False advertisement called them told them I had a nice watch they toldCome on down we can take care of you we can watch it when I got there not only did they not put on my watch and that been in worse shape then I would ask before I went there because when I left the animal money for gas so please do not go to this party shop they are not honest

I was offered an extremely low amount for a top of the line television. Then when I requested more money one of the employees started laughing as if my situation was funny to him. The guy in charge was ok but the employee was extremely unprofessional and I was not impressed. EZ pawn was extremely nice and I was offered almost twice as much money. Needless to say Ill never go back here and definitely wouldnt recommend it.
