I’d like to start off by saying this place is stunning! It’s very cool and interesting to see the staff make the milkshakes so quickly from the ice cream bases. You can really taste the alcohol in these drinks. I got a regular sized drink which has 2 shots (the small has 1). They also have a vegan base option for shakes. I opted for this since I have a milk allergy. The drink I order was the lemon cake with strawberry mix-in and opted for moonshine (as suggested by the staff) instead of the vodka/gin pairings. The moonshine does blend very well and is very smooth. The regular is definitely a dipping drink. I was only able to finish half of it 😂 it was just a lot of shake for me to handle, but I love that it came inside of a reusable container. I popped it in the freezer once I got home and it’s still just as good. I highly recommend checking this spot out. NOTE: it’s a small space with maybe 5-10 tables to chill out.

Decided to stop by after dinner for a sweet buzz, and it was amazing. I got the Honey bourbon and my partner got the bonfire both vegan based and spiked. Now this is the third time that Ive been to this location. Never have a experience my tongue feeling as though it frost bitten, I got the same ice cream twice before and I did not experience this feeling. The next day my tongue is still feeling like this.

Buzzed Bull had excellent ice cream made right before your eyes! I loved every flavor I tried! The owner and staff were helpful and friendly....but sadly it is closed. I went to visit in October 2021, and its not open any more. :(

Found this place on a whim!! And oh man am I glad we did!!! They make your ice cream right in front of you with nitrogen. I love it. Its so many different flavors to pick from and when they mix them together its the most creamiest, smooth, and flavorful ice cream I have had in a very long time. I will definitely be back to try some other flavors!!! Parking is a little hard! But definitely dont let that stop you from stopping here. Its a nice place for a first date!!!

The Red leg ice cream with an extra shot is the best absolutely! If youre a strawberry lover this is your choice. They have so many different flavors. Pretty cool spot to hang with friends or family. You can also get shakes for the kids with no alcohol in it of course.

Absolutely love this place never knew that you could get drunk off of ice cream. They make custom ice cream bowls and shakes using liquid nitrogen when you walk in the shop youll see all the liquid nitrogen tanks along your right side as you walk up to the counter. You should absolutely get the upgraded bourbon to get the bourbon pecan ice cream. I promise youre 100% not disappointed and very happy when you leave.

Of all the liquid nitrogen ice cream I’ve had, this one was probably not a top pick. I was expecting a creamier texture given how it’s supposed to be made, but it was the opposite. The texture was somewhat in between a sorbet and an ice cream. Flavors didn’t really stick out. The toppings just blend in so you don’t get any chunks of any toppings you picked. Altogether, probably won’t go there again. Worth a try tho! Be your own judge.

As many of us know, liquid nitrogen is some wild stuff! You don’t have to be a science geek or a Terminator fan to try this place out! Kids will definitely love watching them freeze the ice cream base and parents will love the “buzzed” add-ins. We all had ours milkshake style since we were walking and was a great consistency. We all loved that it wasn’t over the top sweet. The one thing we all thought though was that the add-in flavors and ice cream flavors themselves could be more pronounced. I had mint ice cream with espresso add in and I really couldn’t hone in on either flavor, almost like they canceled each other out. Fun to try and worth the ooo’s and ahhh’s by the kids. And I should add, most importantly, the staff was AWESOME!! Super friendly, helpful and you knew they were smiling even under the masks!

Buzzed Bull is a cute ice cream shop that makes its ice cream on the spot using liquid nitrogen, giving the ice cream a delicious, fresh taste. There are numerous toppings and flavors to choose from and you can add alcohol to your ice cream or milkshakes if you feel like spicing things up. Last time I visited here I had chocolate ice cream with fresh banana mixed in and it was a delight!

If youre not careful, this place can get real pricey real quick. But man, its good stuff! Theyre regular with a buzz could definitely be shared been two people and I definitely plan on coming for my occasional afternoon dessert and kick to get thru the week.

Amazing experience start to finish. Staff greeted us as soon as we entered the door. Their menu was explained to us and they had a variety of different options to choose from. Ice cream was made from scratch and in front of our very eyes. Very fun and entertaining experience. Before walking in, we could already see that it buzzing with excitement. They have an amazing staff, very welcoming as soon as stepped through the door. Their options were endless. You can add or drop anything on menu, mix and match, add alcohol or just go simple. The ice cream is prepared from scratch in front of your very eyes which is a great experience. I had the peach, pecan waffle and it tastes so good. It has pecans not just a flavor so crunchy. Loved it. If you try with liquor u wont be disappointed.

They have an unique way of making ice cream, using all liquid ingredients and fresh ingredients then use liquid nitrogen to freeze it into ice cream. The specialty flavors were complex and very tasty.

Cool concept but the ice cream flavor itself is mediocre. Got vanilla mixed with Oreos and cookie dough. Nice combo but the ice cream itself lacked creaminess. It felt watery as if it had a low fat content.

Most allergy-friendly ice cream shop EVER! Im used to limited options due to my allergies (nuts, chocolate, etc), but wow -- once I mentioned my allergies, the staff member taking my order was able to tell me -- from perfect memory -- what items had my allergens and what I should swap it for so I could get the same experience without risking an allergic reaction. They used a separate mixer, took extra care to prevent any cross-contamination, and handled everything so kindly. Plus, absolutely amazing ice cream! I cannot recommend them enough.

The staff are really friendly but it takes a long time since they make your ice cream from scratch. Wouldnt have minded were it worth the wait, but the ice cream and the milkshake we got were so overly sweet that we threw them out. It was like eating and drinking pure syrup.

From the second you walk in youre greeted kindly, I love their ice cream flavors not too sweet but the alcohol isnt over powering either. I love all the options and that anything can be alcohol free or buzzed which is a plus when you have children but also want something adultish.....my favorite summertime peach buzzed

My first time here and the young lady at the register was very helpful on making my experience a wonderful one. I got a small Southern peach cobbler ice cream with bourbon and it was very good..I also got the cookies and cream ice cream with pecans added with Hennessey now that was strong..but overall the taste and quality was excellent.

This was my first time getting alcohol infused ice cream and it was a great experience for multiple reasons. First, The liquid nitrogen was cool to watch, and there was a Great variety in flavors from which to choose whether it be the toppings, the ice cream, or the alcohol lol. They have visuals and descriptions on their Instagram/Facebook pages. In addition, The shift lead at the time that I was there, TC, was extremely pleasant, she provided excellent customer service, and was very accommodating/patient when it came to my picky taste and indecisiveness. I highly recommend and I will certainty be returning!! TC you are greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Rarely write reviews but this place was amazing! Neither me or my friend had been here before so the owner explained everything to us and gave us great recommendations as well. He was so nice and kind! We had hot spiked ice cream lattes and theyre definitely one of the best drinks/desserts Ive ever had. Highly recommend the Cherry Cordial drink!

Had the best strawberry shake mixed with vodka. Great staff and the customization options have something for everyone. Watching the process is an experience of its own! The off-menu mango with tequila and tajin was amazing as well!

I went there last year and it was great. The experience and shake were really good. I couldn’t wait for them to open again this year so I can go. I went Tuesday night at around 830 and it was swamped. Of course the hype is worth it so I made line, placed my order, and waited with my 2 little ones. I knew it would take some time for my order to be ready so I was ok waiting a bit. After about 25 mins of waiting I began to suspect that maybe my order was not going to get called because I would see people who ordered after me get theirs but I didn’t say anything and waited a bit more. After maybe another 20ish mins I finally asked the guy and he said he didn’t know what happened, and went to ask his peers, and when he did they didn’t know either but ultimately my order had gotten forgotten/missed. He ended up making mine right there and then but by then i was already pretty annoyed.Milkshake was great but the experience was a very very unpleasant one.

I recommend this to everyone, my friends and I drove 30 minutes to have late night ice cream and we were so happy with our decision! I got the nutella ice cream with gummy worms, and my friends got an ice cream and a shake. The staff was incredibly charismatic despite it being closer to the closing time. The process was so fun to watch and the outcome was a delicious, high-quality frozen treat! The appearance was fresh and clean with a lively ambiance. Something to note is the all-inclusive bathrooms, which was very cool. Overall, I had an amazing experience and cannot wait to come back over and over again! :)

Honestly my strawberry ice cream had no actual flavor at first, it tasted like cream and sugar and it was disappointing since it cost around $15. But then I had my friends espresso ice cream and it kind of cleared my palette enough for me to taste a smidge of strawberry in my ice cream

Came here with a birthday month coupon. The sizes are quite large—a small can be split between two people for a nice snack! I would recommend getting a richer flavor like chocolate because it keeps better with the nitro freezing.

The first and only in Chicago. They have the highest quality ice cream I have ever tasted.. They make it from scratch, right in front of you with LIQUID NITROGEN (-325 degrees BELOW 0). And of course, infused with liquor. Ice cream, milkshakes, coffee or lattes. Very clean and family oriented place. Ive dumped Starbucks for BUZZED BULL.

My fiends and I went to this location for the first time last night around 9:00pm. There was a bit of a line outside due to COVID but it went relatively quickly and person outside was giving discounts to people who had been waiting awhile, which was really nice. It was cool to watch them make the ice cream using the nitrogen. We ordered our two Tiger Strip shakes and waited, and waited, and waited. After about 20 min someone at the counter asked for our number and what we ordered and apologized for the wait. All the staff seemed new and like they were not in sync. After another 15 min we got our shakes. The Tiger Stripe shake consists of chocolate, peanut butter, peanut butter cups, and peanut butter sauce on top. It literally tasted like skim milk and peanut butter with a hint on chocolate. No “peanut butter cups” to be found. I wanted to go back and let the manager know but my friend didn’t want to make a big deal about to. Unfortunately neither of us enjoyed the shakes at all. We would have been better off going to a diner down the street or more satisfied with a frosty fromWendy’s. This place looks really cool but the product, at least from experience, is not worth the hype or wait.

This unique ice cream is an healthy sweet desert to me. It takes a little more time to prepare but worth it. Like it not too sweet not a lot additives.

A delicious alternative to everyday coffee and ice cream places. The friendly staff will make your drink the way you like it. They say to use the menu as a starting point and go from there. Our daughter was captivated watching them make the drinks using liquid nitrogen.

The staff were friendly, and the environment was nice. However this is the La Croix of ice cream. And I like La Croix, but it isn’t pretending to be something it’s not. There just wasn’t much flavor, unfortunately, and for the price I expected better. And the whole liquid nitrogen gimmick seems awfully wasteful and kind of pointless. I just want ice cream, not cold milk with a hint of banana.

Their milkshakes are so creamy and delicious! The best Ive tasted. I stopped in while walking through Wicker Park on my visit to Chicago. I have only seen a boozy ice cream/milkshake place in Austin and will definitely try the buzzed milkshake next time. Had a chance to talk to the owner and staff... All very friendly and easy to get along with. Local businesses like this need more support during this covid situation.

I ordered a vegan chocolate and espresso milk shake and they made it with real milk. They swapped my buddies order and mine. Made his vegan and mine not vegan. I was sick for 2 days... lucky it wasnt an allergy!!!

Really good ice cream on North Ave that recently opened in Bucktown. Lots of interesting options that you can add booze to (for an adult spin). They make the ice cream right in front out you.

Great addition to wicker park. The bon fire is a smores flavor with a toasty marshmallow taste. Its not FAST, it takes time to create the ice cream, but its well worth it. I cant wait to go back.

We got a Tiger Stripes buzzed milkshake and a Hard Apple Pie buzzed ice cream. Milkshake was amazing - peanut butter in every sip! I wish the apple pie had more caramel and apple flavor. However, it was over priced for what you get. We spent over $30 for just those two items.

The way the make it to order is great for lactose intolerant folks like myself becuase you can have any flavor you like. Serving size is also pretty generous.
