I had four young men helping me with my move. All four were respectful, social, and worked very hard. Plus, all of them seemed to get along very well with each other.They took their time, and made sure that all of the furniture (including an antique baby grand piano) were properly padded and moved with the utmost care.I really appreciate these young men for their diligence and hard work.Thank you so much!!

Arrived on time (slightly ahead of schedule) and called ahead before heading over and when a few minutes away. Very easy to coordinate with the office for the estimate. Very efficient move where freight elevators were reserved both moving out and in and timing was important. Professional move with safeguard of all furniture. Have used on multiple apartment moves over the years and would 100% recommend over some of the advertised discount movers.

Moved from a house in the burbs to a condo in the city with 1/2 my stuff going into a storage locker. Carson and the crew did an amazing job! They shrink wrapped and blanketed everything and handled all my belongings with care. I had two trucks with seven guys, they were very efficient and kept moving the whole time. They stacked everything professionally and worked through some tight spaces with ease. I anticipated a stressful day but really was at ease how well things went. I made a lot of special requests and provided a lot of direction, all of which was received well by the crew members. They arrived promptly, communicated very well and finish before the estimated time which brought the cost in 10% below estimate. I strongly recommend Two men and a Truck!

I had a generally positive experience with this company. Their office is very very responsive and answered multiple calls with questions. On the day of the move, the men were very quick and polite. My couch was stuck in the stairs of the new building and the company sent an extra crew to help without charging more. So overall everything got done and the administration of the company seems good. However, the movers did not bring their own tools or doorstops which was kinda ridiculous given how expensive their hourly rate is. Im glad I read reviews beforehand and saw that this happened to someone else, so I kept my own tool kit and drill on hand. They had to use both. Id say service is decent but maybe not quite worth the very expensive rate.

Contacted them on Friday afternoon and the next day they were moving my mother’s furniture to her new apartment. Received call from the movers 15 minutes before their arrival and the moving process was very quick and items wrapped and handled with care. The two movers were courteous and friendly and answered every question my mom had . Definitely will go with 2 Guys for any future moves.

We had the *best* packing and moving crew, led by Dane. The men that did the work were funny, friendly, fast, professional and absolute pleasures to work with. Could not recommend more.The office was absolutely the worst to work with. I called and was told an account was being set up and a proposal being sent. When I called back 24 hours later, there was no record of my first call. Got all set up, got a quote. Once I signed the paperwork and sent it back, I never heard from the rep again. I emailed her a week before our move to confirm the details of the move and the amount of the final payment - no response. Called and left a message - no response. Sent the email again 48 hours in advance of our move - no response.Its too bad, because the crew was so wonderful but I couldnt recommend the company because the customer service from the office was so terrible.

My move ended up costing double the high end of what I was quoted. As soon as the movers showed up they remarked that there seemed to be a lot more stuff than was listed, even though I gave a very accurate inventory when getting a quote. The movers worked very slowly and didnt adequately pack/insulate/protect many of my items. They wrapped two large wood bookcases in plastic, which provided zero protection, and thus the bookcases received several dings. The movers also lost a bunch of shelf pegs that they didnt bother to collect beforehand. Overall the team seemed impatient, and yet still took over 6 hours to complete a pretty straightforward move—from one apartment to another, both in Chicago. I wont be using Two Men and a Truck ever again. For the cost (over $2,000) I couldve hired a much more professional company that wouldve taken way better care with my things.

Had such a great moving experience! The guys were so nice, professional, and diligent, made sure all my stuff was safe, worked so quickly, and it ended up being cheaper than I anticipated! Definitely comparable if not cheaper than other moving companies and such a great experience, would definitely use them again for my next move!

I used 2 men and a truck for the first time this wk. I was extremely pleased. They called 30 min before arrival as promised, they were on time. They worked quickly but cautiously. They listened and followed all instructions. No items were damaged. Before leaving they checked if everything was were I wanted it. The 3 guys were all pleasant and professional. I am bad with remembering name or I would name each of them. I have a bad back so I am so thankful for folks who are willing and able to do this hard work.

Two Men and a Truck saved us at the last minute! We had booked with another moving company and they canceled our move with less than 7 days notice and Two Men and a Truck were able to squeeze us in at the last minute and provide incredible service! Matthew and Devon worked so quickly, efficiently, and kindly. They treated our move with respect and worked extra hard to help two social workers save money on an already pricey move! I am so impressed with the service I received from Two Men and a Truck! They arrived within the window I was given- and I was even contacted about it being within the second half of the window. The guys backed the truck into a VERY difficult driveway (and honestly made it look easy). They wrapped all of the furniture well, and everything arrived in tip top shape.They were kind and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again!

Matthew and Lopez were terrific to work with. Arrival was near the beginning of the arrival window. Started by getting a clear idea of the full task. Both men were very propane friendly.Work was done as quickly as could be done safely. Expectations were clear for all aspects of the move from the first conversation and went as expected. Do not trust this company to do their due diligence to you or items. I moved last weekend and although the movers were nice, many issues occured. The base to my bed was ripped out, pieces to my table were misplaced, and two boxes was missing. I have called customer service and the only thing they offered was 75 dollars for my bed. Im currently waiting to see if my table will be replaced. As far as my boxes, I was told that they were not going to do anything. I am so disgusted. This experience has been very stressful and draining. I did everything that I could as far as paying for the movers insurance and making the proper correspondence to customer service. The manager also had the nerve to tell me that corporate will back up his statements if I tried to call them about my issues. RIDICULOUS AND DISAPPOINTING. Please go with another company.

This is my second time using Two Men & A Truck. I really enjoyed the service they provided. They showed up early and got my move done quickly and efficiently. Full disclosure, there were a few scratches on things, but the movers asked permission to not wrap the things that got scratched and that happens :-). I really enjoyed the process. The only challenge I had was playing phone tag initially with the person who scheduled my appointment, but when it got scheduled I had no issue.

This is by far the best moving experience Ive ever had. Two movers completely emptied out my two bedroom apartment in around 2 hours. This included wrapping some of the big furniture items. The movers were positive, creative, and efficient. When we realize the box spring would not go up the stairs one of the movers figured out a way to get it up onto the balcony and move it through the door. Thanks for making everything so smooth.

Pedro, and Theo were exceptionally adapt at maneuvering all of my furniture and big items, the completed there job slightly above the minimum estimated time but did three flights down three flights up with little to no issues. They worked so hard I told them to stop for a few minutes and have water. Had I not forced a break on them I am sure they would have hit the three hour mark.

I am amazed at how polite, hard working and professional my movers were. Given the heat was brutal, they worked tirelessly and were so helpful. I highly recommend this company!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!We had the most awful moving experience ever. They did not plan my move well and are very unprofessional. First the movers were late, we were moving only a mile away but it was midnight and the movers were still moving in furniture. I had neighbors knocking and complaining. The movers did not have time to reassemble my furniture so we had to sleep on the floor and spend the following day assembling furniture. They damaged my furniture, including a brand new dinning room table, damaged the hallway, damaged my recently painted walls, and broke one of the legs of the couch. I paid the insurance and complained over a week ago and have not heard from them since. They are not replying to my emails, do not answer the phone and do not return my calls.

Just wanted to share how great Zain’s customer service was this morning. I made his morning pretty difficult by requesting a quote, scheduling the move, and working with him on the inventory. After we got through all of that and a lot of back and fourth, I quickly realized that the day we picked would not work for us anymore. I called back to cancel and he handled it amazingly, offered advice for a future service, and was extremely accommodating. Even though we didn’t officially use them for a move yet, their customer service (especially Zain) was outstanding. Because of that we hope to use the service in the future.

I used this service to move somethings in and out of our storage unit. They also helped me assemble a queen sized bed and move some furniture around for me. They were very professional and helpful!

I hired Two Men and a Truck for a local move. It was quoted to take 4-6 hours. They were done in 3.5 hours. They had four guys and they were so quick and efficient. They wrapped anything I wanted them to and nothing was damaged. Ive moved myself before, but I dont think I will ever again.

.Over charged by hundreds of dollars. Broken handle, broken trim on wooden dresser, missing screws. All hidden in drawer. No receipt. Apparently it takes weeks for the accounting department to produce a receipt.

They were awful. They hired it out to a different company and charged us more than double the quoted rate. They also took 3 extra weeks to deliver our things and many were delivered severely damaged. They were not careful and some things never arrived. There was no tracking down of the missing items and no refund of any of the moneys paid.I would never use them again, ever

I have used Two Men & Truck for 2 prior moves and have been satisfied. It’s been 8 years since the last move, so I checked their reviews while deciding on a mover. There were a couple unfavorable reviews that worried me (about movers being slow or breaking items).I reached out to Olivia and told her my concerns. She promised she would get me an experienced crew. I Loved Kyle & David. Kyle is the experienced guy and he was super personable and both worked really hard and efficiently. David was new and he didn’t act like it.I did move 2 standing lamps and a glass table from my mom personally before moving day because I didn’t want to risk anything, but they wrap up everything really well. I was worried about my sectional sofa fitting through the narrow door. They “shrink” sofas with the covering and the tape over it (think girdle) and it all went smoothly.David gave me an idea how to set up my sectional sofa at my new place that I never considered before (splitting it up) & that does work best. Kyle explained that when the client underestimates the total number of items to be moved (boxes and furniture), then the estimate will be on the high end or even over the estimate.Meaning, when Two Men & A Truck estimate 42 items for a one bedroom condo and I have 70 items (we all have more then we think until we box it all up), of course it’s going to take longer in time than 42 items.I had all my boxes stacked up in one place & my unit was located at the end where the truck could park, so my actual cost was a little less than the estimate by Olivia. I hope my review helps others when deciding and clarifies how the price range is calculated.If you are accurate with how much “stuff” you really have, then the estimates are fair. I thought I could save money in my past move by hiring two college guys and renting a truck. Both moves cost me about the same and Two Men & A Truck are professionals.
