My Jeep had a couple of recalls that I had been postponing because of COVID. Once vaccinated, I took my car in to correct the recalls and to have some deferred maintenance performed. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. Several people were ahead of me, maybe because there was only one service writer on duty for Jeeps. I only had to wait a few minutes when I returned at the time they told me my car would be ready. While correcting the recalls was free, the other services were expensive.$20 each for two windshield wipers.$70 for an air filter. I declined to pay another $70 for the cabin filter.$99 for changing the oil and oil filter.There were a few problems with the services. For one thing, one windshield wiper was loose; it had not been properly installed. I was lucky were out of the rainy season. Had I used the wipers I believe the loose wiper would have fallen off the car, probably leaving a semi-circuital scratch on the windshield from the metal arm.Another thing, after about 2000 miles the Change Oil warning came on. For oil changes in the past I had always used the Express Lane. That service writer always explained the options for service … did I want synthetic oil? Did I want the tires rotated? Not the same at the main service counter. To be honest, I think they gave me the gold-plated upgrade without explaining what I was getting for my money.Another thing I very much like about the express service is they give me a report on the tread depth on the tires, the air pressure, the thickness remaining on the brake pads, and a few other things. That information helps me keep my car safe and reliable. No such report this time, which was a big disappointment.When I paid, they gave me a coupon for a free car wash at Scrubs but not when I bought my car back in to have the windshield wiper properly installed and to have the Change Oil warning reset, which wasnt done the first time.

Avoid Chuck Patterson at ALL COST!We took our 2020 Jeep in for service, when we arrived for our appointment, they sent us to the Quick Lube lanes rather than drop off lanes. Turns out, the appointment scheduler failed to note that we needed the steering checked as well (strike 1). When we expressed our concerns to the service writer, an older gentleman, he told us it would be resolved. When we picked up our Jeep, we asked about the steering issue and we’re told the parts would be ordered. A week later, we called to check on the parts, and we were told, no parts were on order or waiting (strike 2). The service department, Cy, told us that he would have the other gentleman call us to get things taken care of, and that never happened (strike 3). Jeep is still not fixed and steering is still loose.

I attempted to buy a new Ram from CP. I told them what I wanted and I also told them what I could get it for at another dealer. I was told they couldn’t match the offer, so I bought elsewhere. I then bought a Chrysler company maintenance agreement that would allow me to take my vehicle to any dealer for maintenance. No surprise, Chuck Patterson refuses to abide by this maintenance agreement contract. The service manager was rude and almost obscene when I questioned why wouldn’t they honor a Chrysler Corporation contract. I bought 2 previous vehicles from them but I’ll never buy another. Unprofessional and rude.

Excellent experience buying a 2017 Prius Prime. The atmosphere was friendly and low key, our salesperson Conrad was helpful and straightforward. The accessories I ordered came in withing two days, and the service dept did there job quickly and well. Shuttle service was excellent. Would recommend.

Car shopping certainly isnt high on my list of things to do. But, my experience at Chuck Patterson was very good. Just went to look around. Had a lot of questions and Adam Huettig was most helpful. Answered my questions without blowing smoke. No pressure. Certainly will give Adam and the dealership an opportunity for the sale when Im ready to buy

Took my truck in for service, Cy Woodworth was the service advisor . They found a bad fuse. But did not fix what blew the fuse just told me buy a fist full of fuses cause I was going to need them. Received the survey in email. Filled it out honestly. Received call from Cy Woodworth telling new I destroyed him on a survey and to take my truck to another dealership. The service department at chuck patterson dodge Toyota is not to be trusted they are very deceptive and not to be trusted to give customers reliable service. Was forced to give 1 star cause 0 stars were not an option.

The people are nice, but i took my truck in here to get fixed, and it came back worse. Wont go back for service. The used car market isnt anything to write home about, with most of the cars overprices compared to the market.

Went in looking to replace a vehicle that was totaled in an accident. We didnt have much down, or great credit, but they worked with us and we drove away with a brand new Jeep Renegade and a payment not much higher than I had previously.The entire process took less than three hours, and Adam was great through the entire transaction.Shout out to Wendy for getting us signed, sealed, and delivered.Thank you Chuck Patterson and company.

This place is terrible! The service department is a joke. They are denying a warranty repair on something they fixed that broke 2 days later. My Jeep is a 2018 Rubicon with only 8,000 miles on it and the rear defroster has been broke for months now. I was honest in my survey, that I received from Jeep after the initial repair, and gave the Service Advisor Cy, a bad review. The reason I did this was because, when I brought my Jeep in for the repair he tried to tell me that the rear defoster broke in a car wash. I told him that wasnt possible, the part that was broken is not on the outside of the vehicle. I did not care for his demeanor or the fact that he tried to make me believe a car wash broke my defroster from the outside. Now they are denying the repair, beacause of my survey. When I tried to contact the Service Manager, I was transferred to a Human Resources manager. I was never able to speak to the Service Manager. She called me back to say they are suggesting I get a second opinion at a different dealership. I shouldve listented to everyone when they told me this place was terrible. I have worked in this industry for 19+ years and I would never treat our customers this way. I was always taught that you should make it right with the customer. Not turn them away and tell them to go to a different dealership.

Caveat emptor;-( If you dont know what this means, look it up!) This place is atrocious. They are a dealership to stay away from. I believe you do not need to look any further than their rating. It is 100% accurate. You would have to be in dire need of a vehicle to purchase anything from this place! I was quoted a price over the phone and after I test drove the vehicle and told them to do the paperwork, they informed me that the price I was quoted was too low and not the actual price, so I walked out. A couple of days later I went to Auburn and bought a vehicle (an hour and a half away from home). If you want a used vehicle and a great experience, look up Pacific Auto in Auburn.

Made an appt the night before. We were 25 minutes late coming from out of town. They still saw us. They got our new key FOBs programmed. Took about an hour, but they got it done and squeezed us in. Bob was very helpful and friendly. Huge clean garage too. Impressed.

We wanted to shop local and tried to get them to sell us a Pacifica Hybrid. Bafflingly, they didnt return our calls or emails after our test drive, so we had to get one delivered (for free) from Fremont Dodge instead. (Fremont was great, btw.) When I complained about their limited shop hours during some recall work, the service department guy actually suggested I bring it back to Fremont because they had weekend hours. Really nice. Incompetent is one thing (sales), rude is another (service). Heres hoping a competitor comes in and puts them out of their misery sooner than later, it wont be hard: 1. return calls, 2. dont be a jerk.

The only reason i am giving them a 4 star is due to the service manager Cy Woodworth. I had scheduled an appointment when I arrived my appointment was not registered eventhough I wrote it down. Cy was very kind enough to give me another appointment for the following week understanding that I did not live within the Chico area. When I arrived he checked me in, escorted me to waiting area. The facility is very nice offering coffee, donuts, water; very clean and friendly. My wait time was about an hour. A few days later I received a call reminding me of an appointment, when I stated I was already taken care of the person became a little rude and hung up on me. I will not return for any service on my vehicle nor will I give them a reference. Word to employees of the company.... if you are going to work with the public check your rudeness at door. As for Cy Woodworth thank you for being professional.

Took my 2012 Jeep GC in for a recall repair. Darryl, the Service Manager for Jeep said hed NEVER heard of the problem (TIPM) and it would cost $170 for an ESTIMATE!!! I had a picture of the recall notice on my phone, but he just brushed me aside saying I dont know what that is. Unbelievable bullsh*t and bold lie right to my face. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

From start to finish, I was impressed with my car buying process.I went in with a very specific idea of what I wanted: compact car, preferably a Prius or Prius C. I did a little bit of research online and found a used Prius C on the Chuck Patterson website. Unfortunately, I live in SF and it was sold before I could get in to look at it. Fortunately, Kendra and Steve in online sales were patient and politely persistent in calling and checking in. When I finally went in this Saturday, I purchased a 2017 Toyota Prius. Steve was really helpful and pulled out cars for me to test drive (as a Prius owner himself). Conrad was super friendly and helpful in teaching me all the new computer aspects of my new car. Erik in finance was explanatory while signing all the papers (he also had a great sense of humor). Brad, the sales manager, was super friendly and laid back, checking in with us all along the way to make sure that the process went smoothly and quickly. Brad also had a recommendation of where to take my car in SF to avoid the headache of trying to find a trustworthy place. Also, on my drive home, I received an email from Kendra, wishing me well and letting me know that if I had any issues to reach out to her at any point. I had went in with the intention to buy used, but am completely thrilled with my new car! Also, my parents purchased two vehicles from them in the last year (which was the reason i drove from SF to Chico), and they only had wonderful things to say.

What ever you do, do not buy from them, we have 2012 jeep it has the 100 k or 5 years, we bought it as the 2nd owners, it has 80 k on it an the trans is going out so, we take it in thinking OK warranty, not a chance from then they say the warranty was up the day before are you joking me, ive filled out a complaint with bbb, an Im made a you tube channel to show how shady they are, its a joke, your being warned now do not buy from them, I got a toyota from another dealer, an even without my warranty they are more then happy to fix anything, its oroville toyata that is a true dealership for its people, no I dont work for them, just stating that jeep dealer is shady, also look at my Google guide, ive rate alot an have alot of pics I am a trusted Google guide user. Any an all who have complaints report them to bbb, lets help the people who work hard for the new care not get worked over by this dealer who cares only about there own deep pockets not there customers.

I had a bolt fall out on my jeeps caliper. They replaced the bolt and were very honest with me and didnt try to screw me over. Other places would have tried to get me to pay for a new caliper just to get money. They also didnt have the part they needed and had one rushed from Roseville so I could get my car back in the same day. Very happy and everyone was very friendly.

I went to Chuck patterson to buy a prius and trade in my truck. After wasting 2 hours there they decided that I didnt deserve a Toyota. So they told me to walk across the street to their other dealer, Dodge. The only vehicle they offered there was a Dodge Dart. In what world is a dart an acceptable substitute for a prius? Never again will I go back to that dealership.

Terrible experience. customer service is not a priority here and it is evident. Waited FOUR HOURS for my spark plugs to be replaced - with an 8 month old. Last time I got them replaced at a different shop it took hour and a half. (if you have had babies you know thats a long time to try to keep baby content I would have had a ride set up so we didnt have to wait there) Upon leaving they told me that I have a tube that is leaking oil and pooling on my spark plugs. SO WHY DID YOU PUT MY NEW SPARK PLUGS IN THAT ARE $53 A PIECE IF THERE IS OIL LEAKING ON THEM?!?!? I paid $211 for my spark plugs. $180 for labor. What a joke. They should have came and got me and asked me if I wanted the oil leak fixed BEFORE putting in new spark plugs. They had my name down as Teresa. My name is tesla? They had my phone number wrong! Do they double check anything?! The manager called me after they talked to the woman ( Kim ) who told me I had a leak & now she is changing her story that there isnt a leak that the oil is seaping not leaking and doesnt need immediate attention. Although it even says in my paperwork that there is a LEAK AND THAT OIL IS POOLING ON MY PLUGS. There goes their credibility right out the window. They tell their customers one thing but change their story when they speak to the manager. I am taking my car in somewhere else tmrw & they are going to take a look. I did read the reviews before coming to this dealership and I was quite nervous to come here. I guess I shouldnt be surprised so much went wrong! Horrible horrribleeeeeeee 😡

Chuck Patterson Dealership of Chico, CA lost out on the possibility of a $50K sale on 8/12/14 due to their TOTAL lack of interest in selling us a car; and their downright rudeness. We went there specifically to check out a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, which we had been searching for over the internet, and finally found at this dealer. When we got there, we were told they didnt have it anymore. Then we were told someones wife was driving it around, and they were trying to get hold of her to bring it back to the dealership. While we were waiting, we decided to check out a nice Grand Cherokee Limited; which we ended up trying to get more information on. We even had them do an appraisal on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, which we were interested in trading in. Forty-five (45) minutes later, STILL no Overland for us to see! Neal was our (supposed) salesperson, who was totally preoccupied with something else. Chuck was the (supposed) Manager on the premises. Chuck was also so totally pre-occupied with some other matter, that he spit out a quote on our trade-in, waved the paper at us, and then turned away and went about his business! We replied: Thanks, but NO thanks, and walked out the door. Turn to the next day: We just got home with our new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland that we purchased from John L. Sullivan, in Yuba City! Too bad, so sad, CHUCKEE!
