Excellent customer service and understanding of my time critical situation. On day 2 of a cross country road trip I started hearing a knocking from my front wheel well. I called needing desperately to get back on the road ASAP. Although they were booked full for weeks, they were able to slot me in same day and get me back on the road in a few hours. The team was wonderful and I would certainly recommend.
Absolutely great service. The salesman Taylor worked with me on a price and was extremely helpful, transparent, and honest. I have never had or witnessed a better car buying experience. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about this dealership. I love my new car as well and when a tail light went out, they fixed it, no charge and in less than 10 minutes. I had an amazing experience with this dealership. Desperate for inventory and a good deal, I sent an online inquiry all the way from the Bay Area. The sales associate, Isaac called my mobile phone in less than 5 minutes and within a few hours I purchased the vehicle I wanted. Unlike other dealerships in this crazy market, Chico Hyundai does NOT raise their prices above MSRP. I was looking for a specific vehicle at a certain price range. I called many dealers local to me and most were playing games. I gave Chico Hyundai a call, Tyler answered and gave me a no BS answer. Tyler pulled the vehicle aside while I made the 130 mile drive to Chico. When I arrived at Chico Hyundai paperwork was drafted, price was as quoted, and I drove away with a new vehicle. I got in a car accident and was not looking forward to being forced into buying a used car but I was not in a place financially where I could get a new car. I went to several dealerships in town and didn’t have a very enjoyable experience…until coming to Chico Hyundai. They were very relaxed, nice, and didn’t come off like typical sales people. Isaac was very helpful in finding the right car for us and getting us a great deal. When a service light came on shortly after purchasing, they didn’t hesitate for a moment to go above and beyond in completely covering the cost of the inspection/repair. They didn’t even make me go through the hassle of filling out a ton more paperwork. 100% will recommend and will be back next time I’m ready to buy a new car.
Taylor helped me through the process of purchasing my new Palisade and trading in my old whip. This process could not have been any more efficient. It was not only painless, but quite enjoyable. This is the best place to get your Hyundai serviced in Northern California. I have had both Remy and Justin help me whenever I have been there. They are a fantastic duo, and they do not attempt to flatter, intimidate, or push any service onto you. Those three hallmarks alone set Remy, Justin and this overall dealership apart.The dealership is fairly new to the area, but that is not to say that they are inexperienced. I have always felt respected, welcomed, and well-taken care of. Took my Hyundai here for service. Due to a family emergency requiring a long trip my mileage was slightly over, and they took care of me anyway. Friendly, customer oriented, great experience!
I had an issue with my Kona and made an appointment to bring it in for service. I brought it in on a Monday and did not hear anything from them all week. I checked in on Friday and they said they were just getting around to looking at it. They ordered the wrong part the next week and didnt realize until too late. Weeks went by without any progress on my brand new vehicle. They said they needed to order another part and it was backordered for a month. I suggested getting a lemon law lawyer and magically, two days later the part had arrived and the vehicle was fixed.When they called to let me know the vehicle was ready to pick up, I asked them to charge it for me and they said they would be glad to. When I arrived later that day, the car was parked in front of a charge port, not plugged in with 40% battery remaining. They offered to plug it in when I was there. It wasnt a fast charge - and I wasnt about to sit in their waiting room for hours while they charged up the car. I chose to leave as it was. The vehicle was dirty inside. The steering wheel had that black greasy grime all over it and there was their trash in the car.I contacted them when I got home and let the service manager know what happened. I was offered a car was at their Nissan store next time I was in Chico. I said that was not OK. They ended up mailing me a certificate for $20 off a future service at the dealership. How insulting! 1) the car is brand new, service is complimentary for the first few years anyways. 2) You had my car for a month and couldnt fix it, left it a mess, why would I trust you to service my car again?Dropped it off April 5, picked up May 3. They had my car for 4 weeks and all I got was the impression I was an inconvenience to them. Sad times that they didnt even try to make things right with me. :-( Waited about a month to write the review here to be sure I wasnt going to respond with raw emotion, but with sensible words and facts of the situation.Sorry guys, you blew this opportunity.

Above average customer service and no bull. They didnt try to sell me services I didnt want. I was there for a recall inspection for my anti-lock brake system. They got me in and out in good time. Overall I was satisfied. Pretty cool people work there.
The staff was not very attentive. I give them 2 stars because they were nice. And even though they assembled the item at no cost they didn’t actually fix it. I would have paid for the service too. If this is the service I am to expect I will take my car elsewhere even if I have to drive a longer distance.
Remi was friendly and explained to me in simple terms of the issue with my car. He even said someone could give me a ride to a nearby restaurant to have breakfast while I waited for my car. (I asked him if there was some place nearby to eat.) However I had my bicycle in my car and rode it to the Farmer Skillet. They were very friendly there too. Good food and reasonably priced. I was shocked at the quote I received to replace the transmission. My regular mechanic is able to replace the transmission with a HYUNDAI part for one third the cost. I’m taking my car to my regular mechanic. Thank you for the friendly customer service.
Absolute horrible customer service was trying to do lease to ownership and was given all great expectations and timeline. Tyler I dealt with with finance dropped the ball had to call more then a handful of times and finally talked to the other finance guy josh just for Tyler to call me back. Then told we can’t do it
I am a customer from southern California. So in order to buy this particular vehicle that Im looking for is gonna be a challenge. It takes 8 hours to drive. The only option is to fly to the nearest airport which is Sacramento. Chico Hyundai sent a Nice Lady name Julie to pick me up and bring to the dealer. She drove 1.5 hours one way. OMG. Talking about premium service here. Once I got to the dealership, I saw they already prepared the car, wash it. Nice. The Sales person name Taylor Warren is very friendly. He guided me through this buying process with respect. I remember on the contract, theres item that as usual dealership installed as option, he even gives option to take those option off without being pushy. Great experience. Good teamwork.

Im another satisfied customer of both Chico Nissan and Chico Hyundai - my husband and I have purchased two cars there, one from the Nissan dealership and the last one from Chico Hyundai. We happen to have a long time neighbor, Ron Ricci, who has made our car purchasing very easy and simple over the past several years. Car purchasing isnt always an easy task, but thru Ron each car weve purchased was fast and hassle free. I personally would not think of going elsewhere to purchase another car - why when my neighbor makes it so easy. The service department is great, and both Nissan and Hyundai make great cars.

I purchased two cars from this dealership, an Ioniq PHEV, which turned out to be a lemon (endless electrical issues) and a Kona EV, which also turned out to be a lemon (after replacing the reduction gearbox, AC compressor and the motor -- twice). Both were repurchased by Hyundai under the California Lemon Law. I still have not been reimbursed for the extra payments I had to make on the Kona EV.But thats Hyundai. Chico Hyundai is a reputable dealership. During 2020 - 2021 before vaccines, were they laissez-faire about masking? Yes they were. Did that factor into my decision to finally let Hyundai buy back the Kona EV? No question. Feeling unsafe, having no other drivers in my quarantine bubble, and living all the way across town definitely made all of the mechanical issues with my (brand new) car even more stressful.I was further dismayed to be told by the person who sold me both cars that the dealership employees were under tremendous pressure to earn 5-star reviews. Anything else was a fail.So here you are. A five-star review. Remy is the bomb and will bend over backwards to make things right when you need your car serviced. No matter what hes being paid, Im pretty sure he should get a raise.Toward the end of the ordeal, the service center made every effort to provide me with a rental at no cost to me. I greatly appreciated that.To have Chico Hyundai send me the request to write a review (again) is surprising, since its been more than a year since I bought the Kona EV and two months since Hyundai Motors bought it back. Im hoping this will satisfy the bot that keeps sending me these requrests.
Very quick, and professional, had problem with back up camera, called for appointment, Remi took the time to listen to problem and saved me an hour drive by helping me over the phone reset my system. Very helpful and I will be a loyal customer here from now on. The location I purchased the car from was going to set an appointment in a month, wont be calling them again!

I bought my car there and have continued to take my car there for all service work. The are polite and through. All the service records are kept by the dealership and they make sure that work is done as needed. My car is now 11 years old and is in tiptop shape. I really appreciate that I don’t ever feel like they are up selling or recommending work that does not need to be done.

My 1996 Hyundai had reached the end of the road. Though it had only 70K miles on it, the computer would no longer allow the smog man to get it to “code”. I took it to the dealer on their recommendation only to discover it had worn out, and would need replacement. Not wanting to bear that cost, I declined. Disappointed yes, fearing a high bill also concerned me. Recognizing my plight, Chico Hyundai actually reduced my fee due. Staff were helpful and friendly, however I called them twice asking if they were the closest Hyundai dealer from Redding and if I had to come there for my oil change since I have a maintenance package on my car. They said they were the only ones that could do my warranty work. I then made an appointment and took off two hours of work to get there on time from Redding and they still charge me for my oil change because they said I hadnt met the correct mileage which I have never heard before from Hyundai. Very disappointed since I could have driven 5 minutes away from my house to get this done

I had a great experience buying my first PHEV, ioniq limited. My first commute to work I averaged 89 MPG, that is for my total 82 mile round trip with a fully charged battery before departing my home. Chico Hyundai (Tyler) and everyone else made my purchase a good one. I really wanted an electric vehicle but I was not ready to go all electric. I decided it would be a prius prime or ioniq plug in. I feel I made the best choice with ioniq. Test drive and you decide.

Small things can turn a deal sour. A lack of communication with the sales staff about what I thought to be a missing accessory caused me to initially post a negative review. When the reason was finally explained, it was clear the accessory was not included with my purchase. But because of the confusion, the agency decided to include the item anyway. You cant ask for more from a company. Clearly Chico Hyundai puts a high priority on integrity and customer relations. And if you are looking for a good salesman, ask for Dominique.

I had a check engine light and my transmission was slamming gears. I made an appointment online to get this serviced, my appointment was confirmed via text message which was very convenient. I arrived for my appointment with my car ready for service. they told me I would be leaving the car for the day to be diagnosed. Then this diagnosis was determined to be my transmissions second gear has failed according to the code that had came up It would mean replacing the transmission. This was fine because it was under warranty. (Also I am the second owner on this car so I had figured this was going to occur) Remi was very communicative with me which is always appreciated. Got me set up with a rental. And a week and a half later I have my car back no hassle just back to driving my hyundai.
