I went in yesterday to get the new iPhone since I needed an update. Michelle and Maria were outstanding. I recommend asking for them since they were informative, knew the differences between each model, and truly made my shopping experience quick. They made the set-up easy for me and explained how to understand the phone. They were super friendly and helped me out with the T-Mobile deals that the store had! If you ever need help with a phone, go to Michelle and Maria.

This store is an authorized retailer. It is not a corporate-owned T-Mobile store. The nearest corporate store is right up the street in the complex next to WinCo.On a different note, super happy about T-Mobile Network Exchange / TNX on my Sprint account. Stop by a corporate T-Mobile Store and get your Sprint SIM exchanged for a T-Mobile SIM. You keep your grandfathered plan and get T-Mobile network priority. Loving my dirt cheap grandfathered plan now!!

If i could give them no stars I would. They are so rude and flat out unhelpful. Im a metro customer and i was sent a T-mobile phone from ins. The Ins company conference called t-mobile said i could walk into any t-mobile to get the phone unblocked. so thats what i did, the manager refused to help me. he straight refused to call customer services to help me out instead the jackass tried to sell me a phone and was only concerned about himself and his commission. he said his name was Howl. Rude and very unhelpful.

The guys are great! Will never go anywhere else. I was having some problems with my phone. They gave me excellent technical advice, and when that didnt work they quickly processed a claim for a new phone. The store manager runs a great store. Id never go to a different T-Mobile after my experiences here.
My experience getting the new galaxy s7 edge was amazing. Jason Saroya was extremely helpful and explained everything. He answered all of my questions and helped me transfer all my files onto my new phone. I will definitely come back here for any questions that I have. I have been a t mobile customer since 2003, and have always come to this location. In all the years, nobody has done a more truly excellent job than Sam, Dominic, and Danny. They always take care of me and I love coming to see them! Thank you!!
Intially, when I bought the phone I was told my monthly bill was going to be 170 (4 lines) a month. When I got my first bill, it was approximately 300 dollars. They said it was for the activation fees and etc. On the second month, my bill remained the same. I called their hotline to complain and was told there may have been a misunderstanding. They would try to correct the mistake. They cancelled all of these services I signed up for (hotspot, ID caller, and etc.) which I also never agreed to nor was explained to me. The representative claimed my bill was better as it was 244.50. This was still different to what the rep, Sam, claimed. I was stuck with them because if I left, I would have a penalty on my purchase.Note:-TMobile reps claimed they used all of Verizons towers and has great service (Calls were always dropped...).-TMobile discounts....(Really, none. My bill was still 70 dollars more than it should have been.)

Switched over from Verizon and had the best help. Albert was willing to go above and beyond and because of his service I had my mom go in to switch over to T-Mobile. Customer service from everyone there was great.
They were nice and everything until we had to go back about a problem with a Tablet they tried solving the issue... but then we got a bill that was 100 dollars more then the monthly bill I spoke to 3 representatives and they told me they couldnt figure out why they had charged me that much and they had overcharged me so OF COURSE they HAD to fix the problem I wasnt about to pay what I didnt have to... I have only been with them for 4 month and until now the problems with them just stopped last month FINALLY after fighting for what was my right.

The staff were cool, but T-Mobile is trash. They reimbursed me because I was unable to pay the bill for a cycle. They had gave me a confirmation number for the reimbursement and was told I could pay it with my upcoming check. So I was reimbursed and what do you know, it had charged me again causing my bank to go negative and I got an overdraft fee. The T-Mobile service is shady.
The guys here helped me switch over from Verizon, and I couldnt be happier! Sam and Ryan treated me so well, and helped me turn my car into a smart car! Ill be back here for any future needs

This rating is for Anthony.During the evacuation from Oroville, I left home without a charger. I went to the TMobile store, where I wanted to buy a charger, but the store was closed. Luckily, there were 2 guys in the store & they told me that the system was shut down as well. Anyway, Anthony could see how panicked I was and he told me that he couldnt sell me anything. He actually gave me his personal charger for my phone. He didnt have to do that, but he did. I SINCERELY appreciate the empathy that he had for me & I appreciate the help.Anthony went above and beyond his duties as a customer service rep. I hope he is recognized for being an outstanding person, who clearly was caring about my situation. Please let him know that I wrote this. Thank you again Anthony!

I came into the store today because my cell phone has been having issues charging.Cris plugged it in and it gives the charging signal but as I had told him it is not actually charging it was just staying at its current percentage. He then asked me for my password, I was uncomfortable giving it to him but he seemed understanding. He started going in and doing things to my phone like erasing my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth information and changing the permissions and trying to backup photos. I immediately told him to stop because he did not ask if he could make any changes to my phone he just started going in and doing whatever. I told him that any changes he would like to make he needed to okay with me first. He gave me an incredulous look but then proceeded to tell me that he was trying to backup my photos to make sure if the phone died I did not lose anything. First off he was backing them up to a Google account that could have been the wrong one since I have my work and school emails also attached through my phone. Secondly all of the photos that I have that are precious to me I keep on an SD card I have in my phone. If you would have asked my permission he would have known this. Also I dont know what erasing my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth had to do with anything as he never explained but now I cannot connect my headphones and a pair of headphones that were still paired that I had stolen a few months ago are now erased so anytime I am in the vicinity at the gym I cant check to see if that person has my stolen pair. He also kept pushing on me a $600 Galaxy 9 phone that I told him multiple times I did not want. He gave me quotes for another product that was a device you put in your car as well despite me not asking for that information. He wrote down all this information on a sheet of paper and then said he needed to take a picture of it for his boss. I dont know what kind of training this man has undergone but I absolutely did not appreciate him going in and doing what he did on my phone and I also dont appreciate, after telling him multiple times that I did not want a product, that he still pushed it on me. I will need to replace my phone but I will not do it through this location. Such a bad experience for me I will not be returning.
Theyll rip you off!!! Be careful!The manager promise IN WRITING that wed receive a $25 monthly discount but he immediately left the company and the new manager wouldnt honor the agreement. When I called them, they also wouldnt honor and promised me free internet for 6 months. That later became a $10 discount which they also failed to apply. Ive called them 5 times now and theyve promised to call back but did not, and, when I tried to cancel, they hung up on me 3 times, and the last time I called, they said they would not cancel me until I paid their overcharges!!! PLEASE CONSIDER ANY OTHER CELL SERVICE!

I can in to find out why my phone was using so much battery? I have been to several T-Mobile places, but all I got was, you probably need a new battery. Today I came in to the Chico Mall and had a young man help me with my problem. He was attentive, asked questions, and solved my problem. He deserves a promotion and his name is Albert! Why didnt the others do what he did?

Our experience in the t-mobile store in the Chico mall today was excellent! We walked in with our phones looking for the appropriate sim cards for our new Christmas toys. Albert Larios greeted my wife and I then immediately addressed our issues. Being the troublesome couple we are we also wanted to get screen protectors and review our plan. He patiently addressed our nit picking questions with a positive and energetic attitude. While we were waiting for our screen protectors to be installed we were given some water. By the end of our visit not only were our new phones ready to go but we were in a great mood and ready to continue our Christmas shopping.Good job Albert and the t-mobile team.-Ken & Niki

Gave the illusion of good service, but gave a lot of mis-information just to make a sale. Felt very rushed.Update: after 8 weeks of waiting for my device buyout money, I go in to find out the person who submitted it did it wrong. The manager then re submitted it and a week later i am denied. I am now in contact with the regional manager. While tmobile is great, every employee here has lied to my face and made switching a complete nightmare.
Steven and Anthony were great! Phone took forever to transfer all my data to new phone. Was there from 11am-9pm. Very helpful! There a girl that I forgot to get her name as well that was outstanding as well!! Cool people to have a chat with otherwise it would of been dying borIng haha. All in all Ill give them a 10/10 the phone wasnt there fault just slow internet and a lot of data to transfer but were amazing during it! Thanks guys!!
I came in with the intention of only to look at merchandise and not wanting to switch, but I was graciously greeted by Tatiana and she was the best! She convinced me to switch from Metro PCS and AT&T. Both of them were just a headache and a half for years! Now I have just one phone company to focus on and no more headaches! Unlimited everything with a 4G LTE hotspot. I can now use Roku worry free and stream all I want! I am so excited to be a part of the Magenta Family! She definitely deserves the most recognition deserved! She deserves a raise and a promotion!!

Do not go here! I just finished filing a collections dispute and fraud! I received a collection letter because the people at tmoble decided to open an account under my name with out my authorization! I went in to inquire about an account. I only wanted to ask how much it would cost me to open an account and they were super pushy about checking my credit score so I finally accepted to have my credit score ran. They continued to be pushy about me opening an account. I repeatedly told them no. Everytime I said no they grew even more irratated and more pushy. I finally just left the store. I left with no cell phone, no open account (at least none that I was aware of). Oh by the way it wasnt just the sales rep, it was also the manager. They were both very unprofessional. I cant remember their names all I remember was the Hispanic female manager (heavy set and tall girl) and the sales rep (a thin tall Hispanic male). Save yourself the hassle of being put through all of this. Dont go to the tmobile in the Chico mall. I hope it isnt like this everwhere.

Do not buy your phone from the T-mobile store in Chico Mall, its almost half the price on the Net for the same phone and there is no in store tech help etc. that might make buying locally of any benefit. The manager used bait and switch techniques to sell us on the phone and plan. We were told we could upgrade the phone if we wanted after 40 days (just paying the additional cost of the new phone). He did not tell us there would be a $50.00 restocking fee to do that. We did not get what we thought we were buying (instead of 3 gigs of data as promised we got 1, the voice dialer does not work...). Note that the Alcatel One Touch Evolve does NOT have a magnetic sensor (aka an orientation sensor) and so has no compass capabilities. We didnt ask about this as we assumed that was standard on all phones. We were given a promise on our monthly payments and they added $10.00 to what we agreed to without telling us. Their monthly usage pricing is still pretty good comparatively and no contract is great, but going through the store is waste of time and money.
Terrible service, this store is NOT part of the franchise and does NOT care about the reputation of t-mobile. Go to the other store, avoid the mall location at all costs. Even the manager is terrible.

I wish I had read the reviews before going to the T-Mobile store at the Chico Mall. I was sold a broken tablet with an addl fee of $10/month after being told my bill would go DOWN, and that I could just sell the tablet. There is no way to remove the $10/mo charge, unless I buy the tablet. I have been a T-Mobile customer for 12 years, but not any more. Stay away from this store, they are crooks!
