Went there with a destroyed AC compressor clutch at 8 am without an appointment. Told them what I thought the problem was. They confirmed what was wrong and quoted me to replace the ac compressor and recharge the ac. $1200.They did the work the same day. Car was fixed and ready to drive home by 4 pm.Its been a couple weeks and everything is good thus far.

Ive had repairs done for the last 20 years at Ice Cold, and though the ownership has changed, the quality of service has not. Dennis and his team are experienced, professional and courteous. I brought my vehicle in for a new starter and the work was done right and the same day. Though it wasnt part of an oil change, they also checked and topped off all my fluids and ran a computer scan to detect any other problems - and there were none. We all know some places will scan to get other work out of you but Ice Cold did not. The price for repairs was lower than any dealership or other shop, plus they let me use the online coupon discount. I cant say enough about Ice Cold, they go the extra mile! Would recommend to anyone looking for repairs done right the first time with warranties and with very good pricing, and extra consideration.

Dennis is the best! 2 weeks ago, we went there and asked our AC to be fixed. We don’t know anything about AC we have Jeep Wrangler 2002 it’s old and we knew it’s going be a challenge. At first he told us that we just have to be patient to it, we paid like $830 but it didn’t work at all for a week so we had to go back and have it check again this time he told us about the leak we can’t afford to pay again so we left but then the next day he called us and told us we just have to pay basically just the piece for it and now it’s been 5 days it’s working perfectly. We just cant thank him enough! I really recommend this place they are very hardworking and awesome guys!

Rolled in on a Saturday an hour and half before closing in my hot truck with no ac knowing I had a freon leak somewhere, but my toyota dealer could not find it ... and said the dash would have to removed to do it etc....but these guys said not so and did confirm the leak... and by 2pm closing time they had me all fixed with cold air blowing and my nasty evap core replaced. I was astounded and left with clean fresh cold air blowing ... Dennis the owner working on a Saturday and his techs got it done. AWESOME JOB. These guys are honest and fair and COOL!

I visited this location today for the first time for an oil change on my van. I was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of the service and the lack of up cells. What a truly refreshing experience! They gave me a $7 bumper sticker for future oil changes which I will be taking advantage of. Im super pleased with the service that I received from this location and the staff here. They did a fantastic job in a short amount of time for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them for any car maintenance needs you might have.

I came with an estimate from the dealer due to allegedly leaking ball joints that needed an almost $1,400 repair. In fact we were going to get it done with some coupons there but they were unable to schedule us on 3 different occasions.The car ended up with Dennis on Court Street for a second opinion. After his Tech found nothing wrong with the car, Dennis himself checked it out and still found nothing wrong. He then allowed me to look at it myself and I was shocked to realize that there was in fact nothing wrong despite what the Service Advisor at the dealership told me. Dennis in fact insisted that this was very unusual and he even attempted to protect their reputation.I know that this might have been the error of some untrained or new Tech over there or someone who is just a crook. That is not the point of this review, it might have been an honest error and I will definitely give them the benefit of the doubt.At the same time I want to thank Dennis and acknowledge him for his honesty, integrity and professionalism!

New manager Bob is great!! Bob is running a clean shop with knowledgeable technician’s. Bobby worked with me to get my car running again understanding my budget and keeping in mind the safety of my vehicle. Recently moving to the area I am happy I found my new auto repair shop that is trustworthy and not just trying to make money.

Total rip off. Dennis tried to get me for over $1300. I got my car fully repaired for $400. Was told that I needed an upper control arm and that my bushings were completely gone. Other mechanics showed me that the bushings were perfect and all that was wrong was that the bolts had worked themselves loose. Oh and my ac worked intermittent till I brought it to them. They tried to make sure I would come back and get it fixed there and the way they did that was to unplug my compressor. This place is a total rip off and I would urge anyone to go elsewhere and make sure these crooks get exactly what they deserve. How do you sleep at night?

I got my oil changed here, no problems there. I requested a brake pad change and I was quoted at $900 to have my calipers, rotors, brake pads and break fluid flush. I was told my front left caliper was not working, despite the fact that it was and still is functional. This was very expensive, and not necessary. I requested a brake pad change only and unfortunately this shop was not able to only change my brake pads. I took my car to another shop, and had it appraised and the only changed I needed were brake pads. All of my calipers and rotors were fully functional and I ended up doing brake pad change myself because it was cheaper. Likely will not be returning due to unnecessary upselling..

Had a very small hiccup in my experience and can’t totally prove it was his fault, but it didn’t make a difference, he fixed it anyway at no charge. Dennis gave me a great feeling of trust and confidence, and be a woman I needed that. I have been in whole house air conditioning for 35 yrs. but didn’t tell him that, because I wanted to hear what he was going to tell me what needed to be done. He past with flying colors, and I am no novice when it comes to air-conditioning. He also gave me a deep discount on the work. I would recommend Dennis to any one, any day of the week. Wow, I probably would not have gone there if I had read the posts. My experience was very good. Its an old building, but was clean and tidy. I had already bought my parts, but had been sick and just didnt feel like crawling under a truck on a rain soaked day... they used MY PARTS... how many places will do that. I spoke with Sharon on the phone, she was great... manager was great... and got a Thank You note 2 days later. I would certainly go back there...

I had an evaporator core replaced in my Ford truck. This repair is (unfortunately) a very labor intensive job. Ice Cold did the job for $600 less than the Ford dealer was going to charge. The work was done on time and with no problems. I would use them again.

I took my car in for a minor issue it was having shutting off when idle. When I received the estimate, it not only included several things that would need to be done in reference to this issue (throttle body cleaning, spark plugs,etc.) but also included engine mount replacement costs. When I asked why that was the woman at the desk said there was a strong vibration in my car and all my engine mounts were damaged and one (though they didnt specify) was completely cracked. When I told her there was no vibration in the car, she looked at me and said there is no way you couldnt feel it.For what should have been a low-cost repair, they estimated almost $600! Naturally I got a second opinion from a friend of a friend who owns his own shop. He took the time to drive it, examined the engine mounts and said there was absolutely nothing wrong. He looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned the vibration.As for the issue I originally had the car examined for, it was nothing but a loose valve.Save your money and go elsewhere!

I had a rack and pinion replaced and aligned in April when Sharon owned the place. The steering wheel was never put on straight and I thought the other issue with the front end may be that I needed to balance my tires. Life is busy so I blew it off until July. I went into another shop that told me the alignment is off and showed me that my tires are pretty much ruined. They were at about 50 percent tread but not anymore. I called Ice Cold Air to be told by some guy that they basically took the business fron Sharon and provided me her phone number. I called and she actually answered. Was pleasant and told me where shes working and that the new owner should help me. I called him back up and was told that Im screwed and have to go after Sharons LLC. Unbelievable. A corporation that allows people to get screwed over by people they franchise out to and no accountability. None at all. Just in disbelief. My car is an all wheel drive so I will have to buy all new tires and get an alignment. Guess who this purchase will not be through! Theres more to the story regarding the place across the street who Sharon contracted out to complete the alignment and they are saying I dont have the proper paperwork stating the vehicle was even there. They know they had a contract with her at that time. I watched the vehicle go over there twice. Why is it so hard to find quality work in Florida!?

I spend over $2.000 on repairs where some of them where not needed and informed them so - but they maxed up my bill anyway. 3 Weeks later I had to get into the Garage again - this time to a real professional (Chrysler/Dodge Dealer) and they told and showed me several things I got charged for where not done at all - other where done in a very cheap and poor way.

I bought a car 3 weeks ago and brought it over to ice cold air for a routine inspection while the car is still under warranty. i was told it has 2 major oil leaks the oil pan gasket and the valve cover gasket. the bill would be 430.00. i was also told several hoses needed replacing so all together total bill 820.00. i told the guy i dont see 1 drop of oil on the ground . he told me its probably burning off when you are driving. i dont smell any oil burning and the oil pan is bone dry. i checked the oil level the first day i purchased the car and 3 weeks later checked it again and the oil level is still full. wheres my oil going then if i have 2 major oil leaks. the car was fully serviced by the place where i bought it. they told me there where no oil leaks and if there were they would have been fixed. i read another story on here where someone brought in car for oil change told them they had valve cover gasket leak and the person brought there car to another shop and was told there car was fine. it appears this place likes to rip off there customers and i will never go there again !!! professional thieves this place stay away !

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This is wiring that this garage hacked away at INSIDE a vehicle that this garage was working on a brake job for... Brakes are OUTSIDE the vehicle, obviously. WHY is this garage VANDALIZING cars that have the unlucky fate of being inside their garage? Absolutely unacceptable.edit: in response to owner. yes the vehicle belongs to my husband so no its not under my google account. he frequented your garage for awhile and one of your techs/workers would surely remember this incident lol white 1989 volvo (might have been gray back then.)

Went in for belt noise. 350.00 later they said it was belt tensioner, took them 5 hours to replace. When done still made noise and I replaced idler pulley and noise is fixed. In fixing it I noticed they left engine cover off. I went back to the store next business day to find out they THREW AWAY my engine cover. They could of called me and told me they forgot it. Very disappointed thought this might be the shop I could trust. HahaUpdate: Seems like they care about customers posting, too bad they dont take care of customers before they have to resort to posting. 2 calls and they offer coupon book to remove posts, they can keep coupon book, Ill leave the post up.

Giving a star is being nice...I took my car for a regular oil change. I was told I had a horrible oil leak and needed to fix the valve cover gasket, at first I was worried so I wanted to get it done...was quoted $400. I ended up backing out and asked to show me where the leak was...it seemed serious. But there was no evidence of a bad leak on my driveway.I drove to Gainesville and back and a few weeks later I went to get a second opinion, showed them the picture (taken at Ice Cold Air) of where the oil was sitting, the guy looked and felt with his finger, his finger was bone dry!! He checked under the motor too and no evidence of a leak. He checked my oil and it was full and good. Im truly disappointed that this company almost took my $400 for nothing.Funny thing is when I backed out, the manager said but we took everything apart already...after insisting that I didnt want the work done, all they did was close the hood and pull the car out...so what did they take apart??

Both mangers, Sharon and Paul Tyrell have always accurately diagnosed the problem and then delivered thorough and comprehensive repairs at the best prices Ive seen anyhere.The amazing thing is, Ive even had them do minor repairs on my car, and when Ive gone to pay - get this - its at NO charge! Incredibly good. Their knowledge, their professionalism and most of all, their welcoming, genuinely friendly, quibble-free customer service is simply outstanding.Whenever I have any problem with my car, Ice Cold Air on Court St. is the first and only place I call. I KNOW theyre the best around.

I told them AC is blowing Luke warm, they said ok well test the system by draining all the freon (which my Walmart refill can-hose said full) and refill and top it off with dye included. He said return when it starts blowing warm...I said ok np. Not an hour after I left it was blowing warm. When I got home i checked for dye exposing leaks and didnt see a single sing of dye. I also tested the amount of freon with the same refill can (which he said was junk) and it read empty! So I refilled the freon and sprayed the evaporator housing seam with Great Stuff foam and now it remains blowing cold. They got me for $126.....I will never go back!

Lets see well i took my car to be fixed for one thing they claim to have done that but two more things mysteriously went wrong with the car after I picked it up. I took it back to be told itll be $800 to fixed,so I took it to another place for a second opinion and i didnt need but one of things I was told about and i saved $600 dollars

I had to wait to calm down before I wrote this review:Ice Cold Air was running a brake promotion. Saturday May 21, 2016 I sent my great niece to get her brakes done. I got a call from (blank) and he said that her front brakes were totally wore down and that it wore out both rotors which wore out the tie rod which wore the tire that was ready to blow.In 2011 I had the same experience with another Ice Cold Air so my first thought was NO just put the brakes on.He tried again with the scare tactics. She needs this done right now, its dangerous etc etc. I told him just put the brakes on and send her on her way.I called her and told her to go straight to ABC Tires on Park Blvd I have used them for years and have the utmost trust in them to be honest with me.I did not tell ABC Tires anything about what Ice Cold Air had said I just asked them to check the car out which of course they found nothing wrong with the rotors or the tie rod, the tire did have wear on it and they said that I should replace it. I decided to put 2 front tires to make sure the car was safe.Then I told them what Ice Cold Air had said and 2 workers re- checked those specific items, and assured me that there was no problem. Trust me there is no business that would pass up making money if something were wrong.Years ago I used another Ice Cold and I was told you need a timing belt it is not safe it has to be replaced etc etc. I said ok because I trusted this person. I had him replace the timing belt and when I picked up the car I asked for the part which looked new. I said to (blank) it looks new, I dont see anything wrong with it. Which (blank ) replied it should be replaced so many yadda yadda miles. He should of said that, instead he made it sound like an emergency that any minute this belt would snap.Years later I gave them another chance and brought a Truck and paid (blank) to get it inspected before I purchased it. This time I was told both pulleys needed to be replaced. I told (blank) that the dealership said if I found anything wrong they would take care of it. I brought it to the dealership told them what (blank) said and they told me that there was nothing wrong with the pulleys. I did not believe them I thought they were trying to get out of the cost. I ended up buying the truck since I had been looking for 3 years. I brought it back to Ice Cold Air and had (blank) do the work. Again when I picked up the truck I asked for the parts and again I saw nothing wrong with them. Again I was told by (blank) that yadda yadda so many miles they should be replaced. That was the last time that I used Ice Cold Air near me that was in 2011.Apparently this is Ice Cold Airs (M.O.). to make the customer think that it is an emergency and that your life is in danger along with everyone elses.I wont lie I do worry when they make it sound like an emergency and that my vehicle is putting mine and everyones safety into jeopardy. I guess they count on that.I wont use them again.

READ EVERYTHING, PLEASE... You will not save money here but thats how they get you to come to their shop!! I had all kinds of coupons & savings so I took my Maxima there. These guys did a great job. So, I simultaneously referred my boyfriend, another friend & my mother.My mom said she took her Matrix there for maintenance-type stuff & the next day her a/c didnt work at all. Coincidence? Okay. My buddy took his Mustang there & the engine blew the third or fourth time he drove it afterwards. Coincidence? Okay, maybe because his car had a lot of miles. My boyfriend had the power steering pump replaced on his Titan & just a few days later, had to take it back for the same problem. They took care of it & did a tune-up, too. Now, a few months later its throwing codes for misfires. I decided to take it back to a guy Ive trusted, & pay more for. When he pulled the spark plugs, two werent gapped correctly & were only screwed in BARELY hand-tight, none had anti-seize on them & that was only one side! I thanked him & brought it directly back to Ice Cold Air where I assumed they would be apologetic; willing to correct the situation.NOPE!!I was told how they dont use anti-seize ever, which I found odd. Maybe that is a personal preference thing, but not using this simple compound puts them in the minority. I also heard how he did the work on the truck himself so there was no way anything was wrong. As an upset customer who has spent $800 in the last six months, & referred literally thousands of dollars more work to them since, I did start to vent. He retorted how his life was even harder & more stressful than mine. The big difference between he & I at that moment?? I wasnt on the clock. I wasnt the one who made big mistakes, probably because he was right. His personal life sounds sad & distracting. Maybe he should take some time off instead of fouling up peoples daily transportation!!This place does shoddy work & does not stand behind it. I am pretty sure they are responsible for blowing two engines.Oh!! & corporate barely exists, let alone cares. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!

As a former employee of these franchise owners, here is the scam: The lowest Labor Rate is based on actual time not book time. There is a standard 300% parts markup to balance out the low labor rate. They pay their mechanics a few hundred bucks a week.I have done $22,000 in total reciepts per week by myself in a busy garage, I kno what im talking about.So they mark you up, bid you long and hire the cheapest mechanics they can get. How do you think your car is going to comeout? expensive and incomplete likely missing splash sheilds, rock guards and the like. Good luck with this dump... I went back into aerospace
