Love the bubble waffles! So many options- we tried the bacon and cheese and the sea salt caramel truffle, and would go back to try the whole menu! They are great with pandemic precautions. Definitely worth watching them make the waffles! Would highly recommend anyone stop by for a delicious and unique dessert.
My girlfriend and I went into the store and we were kindly greeted by the person working behind the counter. The atmosphere was very calm and friendly. There were lots of signs for cleanliness and safety of others. The food was very delicious with many of other various flavors and options available. This place deserves way more recognition for the quality of the food served here. 10/10 would come here again and recommend. Hidden within the Asia Plaza in Cleveland. It’s a beautiful hidden gem for sweet treats and desserts!
This was my last stop dessert place before heading back to NY. I am surprised I found a Hong Kong style dessert place. Couple years ago, I went to the same plaza and this place wasnt exist yet. I was glad I swung by the Chinatown the last day in Cleveland. Owners are very friendly. I ordered 2 types of waffle, Portuguese egg tart and milk tea. The Portuguese egg tart was amazing, fresh made and hot (temperature wise). It did burn my tongue. The tarts top can burn a little bit more. Waffles outside of sponge areas are crispy. This is exactly what I am looking for and similar taste when I was in Hong Kong. For the Milk Tea, I felt there is a room for improvement. A little bit of watery taste. Maybe not enough evaporated milk. Overall, I love this place a lot.
Drop by here for some amazing ball ball waffle! Essentially it’s bubble wrap in edible form :D they have matcha or plain ones. You can add some chewy mochi or chocolate chips for the filling too!
I guess my anticipation was unwarranted having just read about the place, online. My bubble waffle was ok, never noticed/tasted the actual cookie dough though. Not sure what all the (online) fuss was about. The Hong Kong milk tea was better than I expected.Kinda pricey for a waffle & tea.
The first grab is the aroma of sweetness and deliciousness waffling (pun intended) in the air. I felt drawn to the place by that alone. The Waffles just bring out the kid in all of us too, especially when they are delicious and shareable. Ordered the Mochi Mochi and loved it. Not overly sweet but a little crunchy but with a tenderness that had us devouring it pretty. Cant wait for another one or two!!!
Ball Ball Waffle brings the taste of Hong Kong street food to Cleveand. Everything is tasty and prepared fresh, from the Hong Kong street style waffle to the Matcha Chocolate waffles, you cant go wrong! Pair each with the taste of Hong Kong styled tea, iced or hot, and youre in for a treat. The experience is complete when you consider the owners are some of the nicest people youll ever meet, and pour their passion into their business. You definitely need to try it out!
Very unique and super yummy! The owners are so nice and their waffles and tea are to die for. Great experience for kids. I got the mochi mochi with condensed milk and powdered sugar. They have tons of scrumptious waffle flavors with a wide assortment of toppings. They even have the savory waffles for people like my husband who are more into the savory versus the sweet. My husband got the one with bacon and it was pretty good.
Handcrafted, delicious and fresh. Great, prompt service and super clean. I love the cafe latte and traditional waffle before shopping. I just tried the hand made eggs tart and it was delicious. Thank you, Ball Ball Waffle! A taste of home ♥️♥️
Delicious, fun and tasty! I got the matcha with mochi filling and the matcha flavor was great and the chewy mochi bits made it a real fun, chewy texture. The milk tea is sweetened just a tiny bit, a great treat on a cold day. The owners are friendly and takes the time to talk to their customers and understand what they want. The waffles are individually made to order so it can take a bit of time, so go with someone you like to chat with.
My wife and I just came here for the first time today after getting Dim Sum at Li Wah. We were totally stuffed but couldn’t help but get drawn into this place due to the wonderful aroma of Waffle’s and sweet tea. They are so nice here and have really good quality ingredients. Soo good!! The Hong Kong Lemon tea was delicious!
Hidden treasure if you are looking for a treat this is the spot 10/10 5 stars would recommend
Amazing place! I plan to go back and try the cookie dough waffle ! Also a very clean atmosphere!
Didnt expect to find something unique like this in downtown Cleveland. I got the peanut butter cup waffle which was great. The matcha mochi waffle was good too. Matcha flavor is not too overpowering and you can taste and feel that mochi. The portuguese egg tarts were eggcellent too. Definitely worth checking out if youre in the area and looking for something dessert-like that is different.
I was visiting Cleveland from Alberta Canada. And what a delightful find!I love my Americana while my wife and children love their iced milk tea. And our little grandson loves the waffles.Nice ambience and wonderful friendly service. Highly recommended.
Tried the chocolate mochi and it was delicious!! Will be back soon!!
Delicious and everything is made fresh to order.
This place is the only real chinese desert restaurant I can find in Cleveland. However, I have no idea why they close at 5pm. I really don’t get it.
We are from Toronto where there are a ton of these places around but this place makes the best one we’ve had since Stanley Park in Hong Kong. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, this legit. They’ve really taken the time to perfect how to make these! The tea is also top notch, well done and truly authentic HK style. This place won’t disappoint. Great snack for both sweet, savoury and for tea lovers. Highly recommended!
Great little cafe. Had their pb cup bubble waffle cone with vanilla ice cream and their milk tea. Great flavors, awesome service.
Great waffle. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Waffle is so good. Not too sweet, just perfect. Go early on weekends. Will be back for more.
I love the milk tea! Ill have to go back, the chocolate banana ball ball waffle was nice, not too sweet, not super flavorful... but I think Ill prefer the crispy waffle!
Chocolate waffle with either condensed milk or peanut butter is delicious. Plus the tea with lemon was stellar too.Service was awesome too. Definitely worth the trip.
The only place you can get real HK Milk Tea. Everywhere else serves instant, but they make it for real. Also, very nice people and the food is delicious! So excited this opened!
A light dessert; very decadent . Great customer service! Excellent milk tea that pairs well with their waffles. 👌
The made to order tarts are good but since they are made to order there is a bit of a wait and they arent always available due to it being a specialty of the wife. The Hong Kong milk tea is what keeps bringing me back.
The best hong kong style milk tea l never have in Cleveland, we drive for 30 minutes from Akron to there for the milk tea,so good, delicious Hong Kong bubble waffle too, really recommend.we will be back try the hongkong egg tarts
Delicious! What more do you need to know?!
One of the best in town ... And very friendly
Great! Banana and chocolate and cheese with bacon awsome
Had a matcha mochi waffle....💚💚💚loved it !!
I love the egg waffle. Will be back
The iced Hong Kong style black tea❤
Great place to eat and stay
Not open until 4pm. Open until they run out. Second attempt to try to guess when they will run out and this will be the last.
Delicious! I never knew I needed ball shaped waffles in my life, but Im happy I found out. We had Hong Kong style which is peanut butter and condensed milk and cookie dough chocolate. Both were light and fluffy, and the flavors came through without being overbearing. Highly recommend for a unique treat.
