Really cute looking coffee shop but unfortunately didn’t get to try anything. There was what looked to be an employee running around doing errands but they didn’t say anything to us, and I’m guessing someone was in the back. Didn’t want to wait any longer.

My husband and I are visiting from IL and decided we were going to try a different coffee shop each day, so far this is my favorite. I had the pumpkin hazelnut latte and it was delicious. Decor is rustic and quaint.

My new favorite coffee shop in Cleveland, the atmosphere is very cozy. Staff is very friendly and what I ordered- iced mocha, egg sandwich on croissant, and the almond Danish were all delicious. Prices are very reasonable too.

Koffie Cafe is one of my favorite coffee shops, as the staff is super friendly and the coffee and food are great!! I love the atmosphere of the cafe, and it is a great spot to hang out with friends and study. As seen in the photo, the immediate interior of the cafe is a little cramped, however, there is a big back room that has a lot of space. Although there was a direct path to the register, I think some seating could be moved around to make it more accessible to those with disabilities.

Relaxing atmosphere. Located right next too the West side market, its a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and then do some shopping. The Vietnamese dark coffee was wonderful. 🌿

Drinks are perfect every time no matter what I get. Never had a single bad experience with staff, and the environment is perfect for any coffee shop.

Coffee and sandwiches were fine. Shockingly, one of the staff who so warmingly greeted all the other customers doesn’t, or perhaps pretends not to understand my accent. Having lived in US for several years, I’ve never experienced such unwelcoming behavior before. The other staff did apologize awkwardly. Thank you.

Great quality coffee, and the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced. Visited this while visiting from out of town, and I’m glad I didn’t miss it!

For my first time, I like it :) its a small coffee shop but with a good variety of coffees, some different options even and some food options. They probably could get rid of the cushions for the bench sides of the tables (just my opinion, i dont think theyre needed.) but otherwise, I like it.

My Cappuccino was good. But I was a bit freaked out that the entire 15 minutes or so it took me to drink it not a single other customer walked in. They also do not accept credit card except for purchases over $10 that was very weird (if youre from Columbus at least - Im not used to carrying around any cash anymore).

I like going to this place. The coffee is only OK in my opinion, but the atmosphere and people are lovely.

We visited while waiting for the market to open. The guy working there was very nice and welcoming. Wish we had this kind of place closer to home. He gave us a tour of the wine bar 🍷 which was nice also. Thank you!

This has quickly become our go to place on one of our Sunday bike rides. The drinks are fantastic, and the everything bagel with egg and cheese is out of this world! And the guy that’s always there, kind of tall, not the owner, is the best!We did a Thanksgiving day ride around town, and at one point about 20 miles in, my fiancé said “I really have a taste for one of those bagels, too bad they aren’t open on Thanksgiving…“.On the way back towards Gordon Square, we were passing by the Westside market and I thought just for fun to ride down Market Street where this coffee shop is… Much to my surprise they were opened! Till 2 PM.The gentleman we usually see it was there, we ate and drank and had the best Thanksgiving day ever! Keep up the great work.

I chose NERVOUS DOG COFFEE BAR, 1530 West Market Avenue, when offered a couple places to go to meet a guy fur a first date. The entire decor/visual appeal/seating says, get in here, make friends, stay a while Check the roasts...Check the roasts....ask questions! Youll be pressed to follow your taste buds and take more than a little taste bud excitement home with you.

This is one of my favorite coffee places in Cleveland. Their coffee is amazing and their staff is super sweet and kind.

Very nice place!! First time i went into there. I cant remember the girls name but she was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back and recommend to my friends and family.

The workers there are amazing! We got there right at closing and they opened up to serve us. Love places that are friendly to customers. Highly recommend this place.

Just ok coffee. I asked if they did a pour over and they said no. Only serve pre-made brewed coffee. It tastes a little old. They also do espresso drinks. I was not impressed. It is in a fun location though.

Bakery run buy real Chefs from France. Laurean and Gerard. We had a Sandwich, Salad, and a Soup. All were delicious. They also have lots baked goods freshly baked. Will be back for more.

Coffee was weak and too sweet. I specifically asked for a strong brew.The worst part was the poor attitudes of staff. I felt like I was putting them out by asking a few questions..The best part (and the sole reason for the 2 stars) was the location. Loved sitting there listening to the live music.

Koffie Café is an absolute treasure in the West side market. Walking in and the atmosphere reminded me of many cafes in Amsterdam. We chatted with the owner for a few minutes and he was very friendly. My fianceé got a chai tea and I got a mocha, and both were amazing. They also have plenty of sweet treats - I highly recommend the lemon bars! Overall a great place to stop and slow down for a little while.

Yummy iced chai, nice atmosphere and kind service. A/C felt great on a hot day, but many were enjoying the patio and closed off street out front! Nice place to sit and chat without feeling rushed.

Excellent, and, that, in a part of town in which its difficult to shine. With all Ohio City has to offer, including some really great coffee, Koffie is a great choice. The staff here is super-friendly, and the coffee is different than any other spot Ive been in Cleveland. Its a very European-style taste and an atmosphere thats disturbingly close to German and Austrian cafés. Their espresso beans are also great for home use, which isnt always the case even when a spot serves great drinks in house.

Coffee was really good, great price and the owner was friendly and gave us great service. Also had a breakfast sandwich which was made with fresh eggs... really good!!

For me, the atmosphere and how Im treated measures how good a coffee shop is. This place smells of mold the moment you walk in, food presentation is better in backstreets of India, has one ghetto power plug and to top it off the baristas are rude. No thanks. Only giving a second star because they served me coffee. The location is prime its a shame its run the way it is.

Koffie continues to provide stellar service, tasty coffee, and delectable pastries and other baked goods. They offer multiple varieties of coffee in rotation, hot foods, free wireless internet, indoor and outdoor seating, and an adjoining wine bar to wind down!

Have some great roasts as well as some delicious breakfast items. The atmosphere is quaint and authentic; with some adjustments to seating and slight decor adjustments it would be perfect for me! The kind of place Jean-Paul Sartre would’ve been seen if he were in Cleveland ha ha

They have the best koffie in town I always tip because they have awesome prices and excellent customer service.

You can go from latte to merlot in 3 steps. Its my favorite place to getaway on a quiet night with my boyfriend. The atmosphere is quaint yet hip. The crowd is always interesting and its one of the only places where conversations happen. Ive been to tons of events there too. The backroom is unique and full of vintage furniture which makes it a fun space.

Love this place. Homey and dark with beautiful indirect light and baristas who are allowed to act human. Great place to kill a few hours with a book or a good friend.

Great place! I have had several items off the menu and everything has been excellent. As I remember they make breakfast sandwiches all day, but you really cant beat and the quality is excellent. I havent had anything bad and Ive been coming here for over a year.

Quaint small and no frills coffee place nead the West Side Marker in Ohio City. Overall I would say great place to grab a cup of coffee and to relax for a bit. The service was quick and the staff was friendly, but seating is limites inside although they do have a nice little patio you can sit on in the front.

Whether just calling in for coffee and cake or a light lunch… the food and service here is excellent.

Great place with great staff. If you want coffee and a bite to eat and none of the pretension of what passes as cafes these days this is your place. Relaxed and Friendly. The kind of place you can get work done or pass away the hours with a friend.

Staff was helpful and nice. The inside seemed to have some wear and tear but was clean overall. The Mocha was just average. Grilled ham sandwhich was really salty and just average as well.

First time here today, service from Margaret was horrible. We ordered 2 marshmallow coffee and 1 peppermint mocha. I ask for a carry out tray she sat in on counter and cashed me out and walked away. I asked which one was mocha and she ignored me. I was expecting her to atleast answer my question and to put coffee in tray. Will never go back there.

Loved this coffee house on a street with great urbanism. Walkable, bikeable, livable. The mango-peach smoothies were great, as were all of the espresso beverages.

Chicken salad was runny, tasteless, And slapped together on cold croissants. Smoothy was not; blender for 10 seconds ice was separated from the nasty mix. Worse than institutional food service.
