Wow this place is Amazing! We git our kitchen and 3 bathrooms installed yesterday Absolutely stunning. They had the largest selection from all the other companies we went to. You cant even compare the inventory theses people stock. Massive inventory!! We enjoyed working with them . What we also loved is that they have their own installers and fabricators all in 1 place!! No headaches!!

My experience was so poor that it has taken me weeks to post this. I needed to step away from the situation. I had previously posted a negative review and the owner contacted me. He asked me to take the negative review down and he promised that would come up with a plan to make me happy. I removed the post in hopes we could work something out. He asked for 1-2 days but I never heard from him until I contacted him. He had no interest in working with me. The whole project was a disappointment. Many many scheduled appts cancelled at the last minute with no regard for the time I took off work. The installers broke a counter during installation. They did replace it but it took weeks and again, no regard for another missed day of work. In the end, my island counter was installed with a crack that went from one side to the other. The owner knew it was cracked but installed it any way. I finally agreed to accept the island counter because I was so sick of dealing with them. I asked for a discount on just the island but the owner refused.Instead he became aggressive and accused me of trying to get the counters for free. The counters were paid In full months before installation. Save yourself the aggravation, shop elsewhere !

Amazing selection and very nice to deal with!! What I enjoyed about them is that we were quoted for 55 sf from another granite company and that was what we were willing to pay for, Marble Builder beat that price by $400 also telling Marble Builder we have 55 Square feet and placed an order, they came out and measured and told us we have 53.5 Square feet instead of 55 which shows they are honest, and also deducted another $112 from our balance!! They have done an amazing install!! We are Happy!! Thank You!! Kaitlain

My husband and I went to Marble Builder Direct after visiting several local granite companies. Wow we were amazed with thousand of slabs everywhere!! They really know what they are doing and we loved their selection and they were the lowest prices out of 4 quotes we had. What I loved more about them is that they did not have to order anything for us as everything was in stock for us to see and they also cut and install everything through their own company, as most others tell us we will have to send your slab to another company to cut and install. They even had a huge selection of undermount sink all in stock and not just a sample!! They 2 girls in the front were very polite and we love the guy who cam out and measured and installed!! We are Thrilled!!

Ive been shopping around for countertops and happened to visit Marble Builder Direct in Cleveland. What I love about them is they offer a start to finish service. They have a team who come out to measure the project and this same team are the ones who deliver the install. This is not always the case with many home improvement businesses, say Home Depot, and I am just glad they took care of this project as if it was their own.You will notice they have a huge selection of granite and marble and other material to choose from. I was referred to Marble Builder Direct by a good friend and I am glad that I picked them for my project. Honestly at first I was kind of hesitant because of some of the feedback here but after meeting them in person and trusting the person who referred me to them, I decided to pull the trigger! I was amazed with all the slabs they stock!! I was stunned with thousands of all kinds of slabs you can imagine. Never thought such place can exist in Cleveland. I first spoke to Farhad the owner. OOOOHHH boy this guy knows his inventory!! I had a quote from 2 other smaller granite companies for my kitchen and 3 bathrooms for $8800 and Marble Builder offered me the same granite for $7300. I am Very Happy with my countertops installed this afternoon. I really got to tell you they did an amazing job!!! I cant ask for anything more!!

Easy to work with. They stock a large selection of all kinds of granite and quartz and many other stones that I had seen for my first time. They measured and installed my upper and lower 2 unit in Tremont. Amazing Job! They also have a large selection of undermount sinks.

My first impression of Marble Builder Direct was a bit confused; they have such a huge selection of granite slabs, however, I had a specific granite in mind that we found at the supplier. Low and behold, MBD had one in stock! My experience from dealing with the sales office, to Fernando who came out to my home to measure all areas where granite was to be installed, to the installers was nothing but outstanding. Everyone was very friendly, did their job professionally, and I am very happy with my new granite countertops! They are absolutely beautiful!!!!

Endless selection of material! Installer Justin and his assistant Alex were efficient and professional. We were sorry they got caught in a rain downpour when they arrived at our house. That didn’t stop them, and thankfully it was only a few short steps from their truck to our front door with their needed equipment to do the job. The wife and I are very happy with the quality of service Marble Builder Direct provided. The office team are very pleasant and easy to deal with. Our bathroom project has come to full completion and these guys really did a fantastic job delivering quality work.

One of the worst experiences Ive had dealing with a company. My experience was a total nightmare. I had to deal with numerous delays, day of reschedules, poor communication, poor empathy from the employees, and poor quality installation. I will never shop here again and make sure to tell anyone getting countertops to stay away from this company.

This company is great. Bought new house and had all 4 bathrooms serviced with countertops with Marble Builder Direct. Went with Black Marble with undermount sinks. And in current house just had new countertops installed in the half bath and full bath. Great price, great installers, great people to do business with.

My experience with Marble Builder Direct was a pleasant experience. Im a Chicago-based investor so working with them via email/ phone communication was a smooth process. They came out to measure and installed 2 weeks later. This newly built home just went on the market and sold. The new owners complemented the outdoor patio noticing the value added with granite countertops. Thank you MBD for a professional service your team provided. Without a doubt my office will be doing more business with these guys.

My whole experience has been a nightmare. Constant delays, quality and installation concerns including some corners being rounded, some not, gaps where my stove is, and so on. I would not recommend this company whatsoever.

Im glad i took the chance, (with my own judgement), after reading the bad reviews, and drove over 1 hr away to check out Marble Builder Direct. I am so happy i did, they have the largest selection of Marble and Granite, and i was able to find the exact Marble to match my tiles(which was not easy for me to find since my tiles are statuary with calacatta running threw it) . I like how they let you walk the company with out bothering you. When i had a question, the owner was there to help me with his knowledge, he is so nice and let me know what was the best piece for my layout. The prices are so low that it was worth me taking the drive, double that price on the east coast. When i was done with my selection, Hanna was in the office for me to pay and set everything up for me. Maddy; the installer came out to measure and then install, a very friendly guy and knew what he was doing, a pro.I am so glad i shopped there! I love the bull dog, my daughter has one like him. :-)

After going to about 7 different granite companies my husband and I came back to Marble Builder as they have the largest selection and lower prices than other companies. We noticed that they are not confusing like other granite companies as most of them have all theses other extra charges. Finally we ordered our entire kitchen and 1 bathroom and we LOVE IT!! they originally told us about 14 days install from the day we ordered but got delayed 2 more days which we are very happy with all their staff and installers!

I could not be any happier with our new counters. The quality is excellent the workmanship is perfect. From start to finish everyone was a pleasure to work with.

I was hoping to find a good company to install my bath vanity tops. I wanted good quality and was willing to pay for it.We ran into some issues and I called the owner with my concerns and he said let the installers finish and they will fix all the imperfections and if you are unhappy we will tear the whole thing out and cut a new stone and install it.1.The slab we picked out was not the slab we got. I was willing to accept the ones we received though as they were ready to install and we had been waiting for the tops for a long time.2.The sink cutouts were not square, at all. Four different cutouts and everyone was off by as much as 1/4 inch. This is highly visible especially once you put a square sink under it. This issue had to be fixed and installers were not willing to fix them.3.The sink cutouts had huge chips missing on the bottom sides of them which they wanted to caulk over.4.All the edges had chipping. The installer tried to buff them out and could buff some but it affected the edging making it wider in some spots and narrower in others, which looks really bad on polished marble. I was willing to accept these as I understand marble may have chipping occur.5.The flat surfaces all had scratches on them from the cutting process. The installer was going to try to buff these out once installed.6.The largest one in the master bath had a chip next to the sink cutout. The installer tried to fix it but ground so deep into the marble and still couldn’t get to the bottom of the chip and said that he couldn’t get it fixed.When the installer said they couldn’t fix the issues I said, “Let’s stop at this point and call Farhad and let him know that the two worst issues can’t be fixed and let’s get a new stone cut. I tried to call him but got no answer. The workers tried and tried to call him but he never answered or called them back. I didn’t want them to continue to work until we talked to Farhad as if they completed the install with permanent construction adhesive it would ruin our brand new vanities and destroy the drywall as well. The workers wanted to glue everything in place and I told them to stop what they are doing and wait until we heard back from Farhad. The workers left and about an hour later I received a call from Farhad who was immediately shouting at me telling me I threw his workers out of my house. I explained that I asked them to wait until we got a call from him as there was no sense in having them install the tops when they couldn’t fix the problems. He told me to stop talking and repeatedly shouted at me. My wife was proud of me as I quietly listened and waited for him to stop his rant. He said I know nothing about marble and that I will have to pay and additional 350.00 to have the installers come out to finish the job. I said again the installers told me they can’t fix the bad cuts and the deep chips in the tops. He hung up on me at this point.I have always tried to be a patient and understanding person and I complied with all of their requests to make a full deposit and paid in full before the marble was cut and let them try to fix the issues with the marble. I now understand why they want all the money up front and charge extra for the installers to come back. This has been a very unpleasant experience. I wanted to stay local and support a local business but this company is not one I would ever do business with and I recommend that you try elsewhere and save yourself the headaches and problems.

Great Experience! After much research we finally chose MBD and happy we did. We had help from the moment we walked in the door. The same day we made a decision on granite countertops. Within just a few weeks they professionally installed the countertops and they look great!

They came out and did the work but they left it incomplete. It was a gap in between my wall and the granite top. They left an electrical receptacle in my wall they were to sorry to remove. They told me that my wall was crooked. I called to tell them the problem and got the run around from the company.

This was the best experience. I just happened on this company while driving around. Farhad was friendly and helped me with purchasing marble for my kitchen countertop, which I had never done before.The demo and installation was so smooth and the guys were courteous and knowledgeable about their job with regards to installation. The price was also very good. I would use them again in a heart beat. My kitchen looks great.

I would not recommend this place. They promised to be at my house three times and rescheduled all those times! Put in my countertop and know I’m unable to open my dishwasher which is brand new. I have tried to talk to the owner and he will not get back to me, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Great and prompt service! Mahdi and his crew took over after the company I had initially hired told me, last minute, it would take an extra 3-4 weeks to install due to them not having good slabs (thats after having ordered the slab 4 wks before). I found MBD and was immediately able to go chose a slab, was measured promptly and installed a week later. They really saved us a lot of trouble and delivered as promised. We are very happy with their work and promptness. Would definitely recommend them.

If you are looking to gamble your project on the prize of cheapest prices then here you go. I am sure they have gotten a few jobs done correctly I am sure the reviews are true. I dont need to rewrite the same. I would take to take a closer look at the work in the 5 star reviews before purchasing if I could. Even the purchase agreement is all set up to make sure they get the money and are not liable for anything else. Go to a proper company that uses computers and lasers. These guys are using crayons and routers. I recommended 4 other companies to my client. They chose this one on their own. There will still be only 4 recommendations on my list next time. Ugh are you guys serious!?! They also really do lie... 3 times in one phone call and all I had was a question!

We used Marble Builder Direct to Install our kitchen and bathroom countertops. We worked with Cassandra who is an absolute pleasure to deal with, she is very responsive and knowledgeable. Mahdi and his team did the installation and they were very accommodating to our schedule and fast timeline. We looked at several different companies and picked MBD because of their customer service and price. When they give you a quote they stick with it, no hidden charges. This business is not staffed, knowledgeable or competent enough to earn your business.That’s all you should need but if you want the back story; the place is a dump, scattered remnants of stone everywhere, inside they have 2 people that work the desk. They are quick to over promise and under deliver on quality, and expectations on timing. Our marble countertop was selected, we added a sink from them as well. They had to cut the stone and the holes for the sink and faucet, it will be done Wednesday, call on Wednesday that it will be done on Thursday, call on Thursday that it will be done on Friday. After all the inconvenience I asked if we could come a few minutes after they normally close, not being able to shift my schedule, the answer I got was “we close at 5”. We finally got the countertop, they didn’t attach the sink, I get it if that’s normal but tell me that, I didn’t expect that, I now have to figure that out. Also there is a small chip in the back of the countertop, at this point I don’t care. I’m sure the service and experience is far better at another store, if anyone would ask me, I’d go somewhere else.

The owner, scheduling person and I worked by phone and email with the layout, scheduling and cost quote.The job was meticulously fabricated and installed .The Installation crew was courteous, worked with our personnel onsite and cleaned up after themselves well .We are very happy with the final product !

Worst place ever I purchased counters from here and they were false advertisement as quartzite and was actually marble. The work was Done very poor. They also do not back there work up because he knows that he got your money already and has no care or regards of the amount of money you spent after it’s done. The owner is a pathological liar and has no morals. This company is complete garbage! Trust me I would not take time from my life to write this down if it were not true. If you don’t want to take my word for it and you want to listen to a pathological liar of a owner then all you have to do is call the police station located in there district and ask them how many complaints are on file for this place then you will believe this message. I am going to court now with them don’t make my same mistake there is plenty of other place to go spend you hard earned money with. This place is a disgrace and a joke don’t get fooled by them!

Just walked in looking for 2x4’ piece of granite and the lady at the desk gave me a $350 price without asking any questions. The sign said $12 per sq ft. She was not helpful and did not appear to be interested in my business.

We were quoted one price on the phone, but when we showed up to their store...they quoted us a new price that was almost 3 times more. It made no sense! If they would have been straight with us from the beginning...we wouldn’t have wasted our time, gas and energy to drive all the way up there! Not cool! 👎

My wife and I were a bit concerned after seeing a few of the reviews listed here. I figured those that are happy tend not to leave reviews vs those that arent. They have the biggest selection of stone slabs you will find so we decided to take a chance. The owner was outstanding telling us the difference between the different types of stone and explained the process from start to finish. They are upfront with you that it your responsibility to examine the stone you select for imperfections, we did this and found a piece of quartzite that we loved. The owner was able to get us scheduled in under a week, the installer Maddy was awesome, very good at what he does and just a great guy. The cuts were a perfect fit and the installation was seamless. We were thrilled with the service and more importantly the final product is the highlight of our new kitchen. Thank you guys for a job well done!

I do not recommend working with this company for several reasons. 1: the young girl (Cassandra) who works in the office is very rude and the farthest thing from a people person. 2: they did not call the day before install to let us know what time they would be there. When I finally called in the afternoon to see what time they would be there the next day, they said they didn’t know and would call me back. Never did of course. 3: they called the MORNING OF INSTALL (a Wednesday) to say that the materials weren’t ready and they would have to postpone until Monday. 4: the person who does the measure and install is very condescending. He talks to you as though you’re uneducated and he’s much smarter than you are. 5: there is such poor communication between the office and measures/installers. We were told very rudely when they came to measure that we needed a specific sink. Why would the office not let us know that when we scheduled the measure? She specifically told us to have the sink ready when they came to measure. Terrible experience. Will never use again.

A friend referred me to Marble Builder when I mentioned that I needed something unique for my master bath. I found the perfect piece in their warehouse, even better than what I had imagined. I am so impressed with the professionalism and great craftsmanship done by the installers.

Worst service in history!!!! Paid the down payment in August they came out the next week and measured all seemed great. Received an email that they have the measurements and ready for final payment and start the work. 2 weeks went by we were expecting to hear from them for delivery. We called and they said we need to sign the final invoice and they didnt start the work yet. Never told me we needed to sign anything else thought the link they sent me to pay was my acceptance. I sign and send the invoice and they schedule my install for two weeks out. I call the day before my install to verify they are still coming and they confirmed that it would be sometime after 1PM. I receive a call the next morning that our slab is buried and they want to move my installation out. I explain I took off work and have been waiting for over a month for our counter top. Owner says I am not an understanding person and said he would not do the job, not to call his shop and hung up on me. Beware once you have an issue and try to call they will not answer when they see your phone number. It should have been a red flag when I went through the trouble with the invoice I tried to call from my personal cell phone they wouldnt answer, but right after I tried on my work cell and they answered right away. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and wish I would have checked there first, I notice they have a D rating. If you look at a review further down you will notice the owner gave himself 5 stars trying to get his rating higher. We took the advice of one of the reviews below and went to Cabinet Builders Direct. They are rushing our order and will have it for us installed in 4 days. Not sure they can do this in every case, our order is fairly simple but great customer service so far.

I am extremely happy with my new kitchen thanks to Marble Builder Direct! I had difficulty finding the exact stone I wanted for my remodel. I decided to just start calling around, and MBD had exactly what I was looking for and was very helpful, even sending me pictures before I made the drive out. The price was incredible and the work was timely. I was nervous because I needed all of the stone they had for my large kitchen (115 sq ft of it) and there was no room for any errors! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Please read the reviews on this company. My experience was no different but I was able to get away from this deal but had to pay to cancel.My story starts with an order at around 1pm on a Saturday, I did not feel comfortable when I walked up to the door and it said no pictures or videos but I thought they had a great deal until I was surprised by the install fee which made this place the same price as others, but I decided to move forward anyway, I could kick myself for that decision. Sunday I had a personal situation which would have me put EVERYTHING on hold including this. Monday I called just before noon to cancel the order and the response I got on the phone threw up a red flag, she said you need to talk to the owner and he would call you back. I didn’t feel quite comfortable with her response and was like, oh boy… so I got online and researched and WOW!!!! Everything from threatening text messages to bad workmanship, delays in job, you name it… Now I was in major concern after I looked at the invoice and it stated no refund… I called back Monday afternoon to talk to this Farhad, and got the same response again, he will call you back, the girl on the phone said he has to talk to me she can’t. He eventually called me back on Tuesday and I explained to him that I just had a personal hardship and I needed to cancel the order, it had been only 6 hours of a business day when placing the order and calling to cancel and they had DONE NOTHING other than except my down payment of $1500. I asked him for some compassion and humanity that his decision would define the future, he said he would need to talk to his partners and get back with me, he said send him an email, which I did. He responded to my email and basically said that even though they did not do any measure or cutting, contract states no refunds and danced about some things they were throwing in like sink cut out for cutting boards and upgraded edging, which is not relevant, they still did not do anything other than some ink to paper for the invoice. He response to cancel, $150!!!! $150 for doing nothing, but you know what, given what, getting FAR AWAY from this company, it was worth it. So, if you decide you want to deal with this person even after you have read this and all the other feedback, ask for a $150 discount, shouldn’t be a big deal to him, he didn’t do anything to deserve it.

Hired these people to install my granite top and their installer scratched my top while cutting for my sink and I also found a round scratch from the installers clamp and I brought it to his attention and gave them a chance to fix it but instead the installer and company owner insisted I was being too picky. The owner threw a fit because I was upset with the horrible service and said hes just gonna come rip it all out and refund my money and when I told him if he damages my cabinets he will have to pay for it he said my jobs done and theres nothing he can do for me. I strongly advise anyone not to deal with these people.

As a home owner and house flipper, I have ALWAYS used MBD. Farhad is awesome and the prices and quality are great. Installation is impeccable. I had a chip once and someone was out in two days to repair. (Cannot notice!)To the person who felt ignored, take it as no high pressure sales!

I decided to write a review this time because I was very hesitant to work with Marble Builder Direct due to reviews I saw on internet but Im so glad I did end up working with them...Farhad (not sure I spelled name correctly ) the owner was awesome. Very patient with me (I can be difficult and picky) and made me an offer I couldnt refuse. I had gone to many other places to get quotes. I also must say the installer Magda (not sure how to spell his name )was such a wonderful man who knows his job! Made suggestions as if it were his own home.. They came to install at 5 and left at 10. He did not leave until everything was done and perfect! My kitchen looks wonderful! Thank you you guys for everything!!

Horrible customer experience and prices! Do yourself a favor and go to Cabinets And Granite Direct! If you use Marble Builder Direct, you will wait MONTHS for them to get everything together. THEN when they jack your expensive countertop installation and dont properly secure the countertop to the center island, they will call you back (in a week or two) and charge you $150 more to fix THEIR MISTAKE!!! Never using this company everrrrr again.

We hired Marble Builder Direct to do all the countertops in our new house. It was a horrible mistake. The quality of the work was average at best, but dealing with the owner was a horrible experience. We caught him in several blatant lies and many half-truths. When wed catch him, he was quick to anger and scream. And he would let his bulldog, Oscar, walk through the shop and urinate on the slabs. BTW, the one 5 star review currently posted is from the owner, based on the name of the reviewer. That should tell you enough right there....Edit: And in response to the owners reply (below), yes, your records will not show the name I used on here to post my review.

My husband and I went to over 6 granite companies,, marble builder had the largest selection as well offers low prices! I am very happy with my kitchen granite installed by them!!

Amazing Counter tops

Walked in and was completely ignored. Owner or worker was on phone yelling obscenities to some one . Not good business .. I would not recommend
