Kims CCW course was an excellent experience. Kim is a very knowledgeable retired marine with lots of life experience as well as stories to go with it, hes also very down to earth providing a family feel. I took Kims private CCW course with my wife which was well worth the money for the individual attention and a sooner class date. 10/10 would do it again! Thank you Kim.

I had Kim Rodecker for instructor. He made it fun and enjoyable. Great sense of humor! Yet he was very strict and serious when it came to safety, responsibility and the law. The gentleman at the range made everything smooth and gave extra attention to beginners. No pressure. My advice is practice shooting with both right and left handed, single handed and two handed. My shooting left handed for the first time spoke for itself. 😉 Highly recommend training with this group. Thanks again for everything.

If I could give Kim and his crew 10 stars I would. The 6 hour class with my classmates was very informative and fun. Then the following week, range time was a blast. Learned some techniques, instructors are cool. Love the outdoor range. They also dont want a piece of your soul to take the class. Definitely looking forward to taking advanced classes with them.

I highly recommend Kim Rodecker’s Concealed Carry Course. Kim taught me how to safely and properly handle a firearm and Michael, my shooting instructor, helped me become a more accurate shooter!

Let me tell you I thought about going to several places, because of the timing between class and shooting range time, and Im glad I didnt.This class is very professional, and Mark & Kim are class acts. These guys take the time to make sure you know your stuff, and wont let you leave the class till you do. The class itself is 10 hours, but it flies by, and they give you sufficient breaks, so you dont have to worry about stretching or whatever, basically Youre treated like an adult not a 5 year old.Range Day - Man it was a blast once you get to go up and shoot. It can be a long wait, but its worth because you get hands on training one to one instruction. I have Doc, who went through some advanced drills with me after I had already show proficient at CCW standards. It was great he didnt say okay youre done good by, he said how do you feel do you want to try some advance tactics as well, even though there were others waiting in line. It just goes to show you that when they say One on One they mean it.I would definitely recommend these guys for novice or expert shooters, because they assess where your skill level is and then go from there.Great Job Guys!

We had the whole family take the class. Learned stuff I would never think of doing or not doing. When we went to the shooting range we all had Mike Buchanan. He was patient, comfortable to work with and taught you things you didn’t know. Will definitely be calling him for more shooting practice.

My experience was way more than expected, The owner kim really has a great program. I would highly recommend this class!! I walked out of there with so much confidence. The learning experience was something I did not expect, my instructor who I worked with at the gun range, ( mike) was an amazing instructor. I learned so much.. outstanding place

I had Mark as my instructor,,he is stern but fair,, I would recommend these fellas to anyone looking to gain information or skills...Kim and his crew are straight forward and to the point... I love them Guys they aren’t all soft and sweet on you they make sure you learn you stuff inside out without baby. The tough love allowed me to take this a lot more serious than I was before. Bought a groupon for the CCW class. Made numerous calls for weeks, left messages, no answer or call back. Truly unprofessional business. I would avoid and seek a more reliable business such as Pointblank for CCW.

This being my first ever experience with a gun, Ive found this to be a necessary, no-nonsense tolerated gun handling course thats geared toward the responsible gun owner. Dont let Marks & Kims character scare you away--theyre ex-military and are passionate about safe, proper gun handling. A couple of my many take-aways: handling and using a gun isnt difficult, but it demands rational thought and common sense. Regardless if youre familiar with them (common sense & rational thought), pay attention and youll come out knowing more about weapons and in which scenarios to use them than you ever thought possible. Mike, my range-time instructor, decreased my anxiety almost immediately. If youve never shot before, let your instructor know. I cant say enough about his patience with me. Drew came over to assist with my aiming process (its amazing what a #2 pencil can do to help you line up your sights effeciently). Their calm demeanor, voice tone, and respect for me and my weapon during my range time was exceptional.

Short review: A+.Long review: Instructor Mark is polarizing in his strictness, the range is an hour away in the stix. Bad stuff. Sorta.The class time is used to go over advanced stuff: bullet incapacitation qualities; laws and legal defense (the instructors remind you to talk to a lawyer though for better info), demos on gun malfunction and solutions, the NRAs efforts to protect gun owners rights, possible home break-in scenarios and appropriate responses, and a bunch more stuff I cant remember off the top of my head. Actual time shooting at the range varies; you keep trying until youre proficient at CCW standards, and at a few more techniques like breaking tunnel vision. Very good stuff. More bang for the buck.
