Warm, friendly, accommodating demeanor with a friendly customer service. Not deal with a customer with a bad attitude. The only person whom I could say is good to deal is John. If I remember his name right. For the rest, you’ll just get unprofessional dealings.

Its not easy finding an honest service advisor. Many years and multiple cars ago I found Joe. I cant imagine going anywhere else for service. Joe is a good person and an asset to Toyota of Colchester. I can honestly say that he has repeatedly gone out of his way to help me out and do the right thing.

About 5 years ago, we changed our routine Toyota maintenance needs to the Colchester Toyota dealership. We had been very disappointed, frustrated, and frankly maddened after several years using a Manchester place.  Colchester Toyota was like night and day!! Their service  is personal, organized, friendly and professional. They make it stress-free! They treat you like a neighbor.  All our maintenance appointments & work have gone smoothly. So I have purchased 2 RAV 4s in the past 2 years from this dealer, and its gone well. However when I first started bringing my 1st car in to the dealer fro service, they seemed great. Not trying to get all my money out of me, and actually listing to me when I try to explain what might be wrong with my car. This past year there seems to be a shift in the service department. They seem very eager to sell stuff, and their patience for the customer is not the same. I feel like I am at a Jiffy Lube, not a dealer where I just purchased 2 cars from. Just my experience!!!!!

Brought in my 2012 4 runner for a simple oil change and they broke the oil filter adapter and said they always brake.could not even drive it home until I had to pay another $110 for them to replace it. So bring in a running driving car then cant even drive it home

I recently bought a used car from Toyota of Colchester and worked with Gabby. Gabby was so helpful and not at all pushy. She encouraged me to drive different vehicles and answered all of my questions honestly. She stayed after the dealership closed to ensure that all my paperwork was completed and that I could pick up the vehicle the next day. I requested some small additions/repairs and Gabby ensured that they were completed by the next day. I would be happy to work with Gabby to purchase a vehicle again!

This dealership lacks integrity. Was told I had to fill out financing forms to check my credit before even being able to look and test drive the car I was interested in. I drove an hour for my appointment and was told the car would be ready. Upon arrival I was told it wouldn’t be ready for an hour. Shouldn’t you want to show a car before telling me to fill out financing forms? After reading a lot of their reviews it seems like a common problem. Lastly the sales representative told me their credit check is only a soft pull on your credit. This isn’t true, a bunch of hard pulls of actual loan requests will show up from this.

I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone. After taking my truck to get aligned it left in worse condition than it showed up. The tech, Advisors, or even the General Manager would not own up to their mistake and wouldnt do anything about it. Over an $80 alignment that didnt actually align my truck, nor a $100 axle. After spending thousands on my truck in upgrades recently, they claim its a setup after trying to cover my own ass, and over $200.00. Very disappointed that from top to bottom they arent truthful about their practices and wont alleviate the issue over a drop in the bucket to them.

Again and again Im impressed with Toyota of Colchester. I had a couple maintenance lights in my Tundra nothing crazy, the General Manager picked my truck up, dropped a loaner vehicle off, then Alice the service rep called me with in hours. She politely and proficiently solved all my Tundras issues and went out of her way to cover what they could on a warranty. The next day my truck was returned to me detailed You cant make this up, never have I been treated so well at a car-dealer ship, 6 stars

Everyone was very cordial and friendly. My salesman, Darrel was very attentive and went far out of his way and spent a lot of time with me, The GM was very concerned and went out of his way to make me happy on more then one occasion, he got me a good rate. That said, come to the dealer prepared with your numbers and credit score. Write down your specs/demands on paper and check mark them. Go home sleep on it, do not buy same day, digest offer, make sure you get their deal all on paper to do your research to ensure the deal is good for you and meets your expectation.

Had a great car shopping and car buying experience early this week. Gabby the saleswoman helped me. As a female Im always nervous, going to a car dealership. It was awesome being helped by another female. She totally made me feel comfortable and was a no pressure, which was a welcome change.

I have been a loyal customer of Toyota of Colchester for approx. 4 years. In that time I have received great customer service from the people in the front service desk area and they have always gone above and beyond for me especially if I had to wait too long, until today... I was called into the shop during my routine service and tire rotation to see a mechanic holding a broken wheel stud in his hand. They proceeded to tell me that Im lucky my wheels havent fallen off cause the studs were too short. Then charged me to fix the part that they broke. The lady in the front office shrugged her shoulders when I asked why this hadnt been found sooner. On top of that, they have rotated my tires at every service for the entire time that I have gone there. Then when I called to tell them about my concern, the service manager argued with me and continuously tried to pass blame. So much for Toyotas safety inspection. Ill be taking my truck to someone who cares about my safety. To the people up front, please keep up the great customer service! At least it takes the sting out of my years of unsafe driving.

Staff are all great. Found a 2017 Tacoma with lift kit and wheels/tires already on it. Was a scratch in the tint, and they are currently fixing that issue now. Worked with Byron the salesmen, and he was awesome. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and didnt try to bull me on anything, which is huge. Couldnt have stumbled upon a better dealership if I wanted to.*1 year later: had some issues with the truck. Chris, Mike, Vern and Colten were amazing through the whole thing. They attempted fixing it, then worked with me at the end to get into a new 2018 Loaded Sport 6M. Couldnt be happier. Definitely have never seen customer service go so far and above as Colchester had with me, and will highly recommend them to anyone thats in the Connecticut area. This past Saturday Sept 23 2017, my husband got to take home his new car. He had been in a couple days prior, was greeted and assisted by a very professional sales man name Bryan Flowers. Mr. Flowers has always been helpful and made the buying experience the best weve ever had. The Sales manager John is a breath of fresh air. We have been doing business for the past 10 years and not all of the interactions have been a pleasant one, but now I have a new found respect for Toyota of Colchester .

The actual car buying experience was great! Mark (Internet sales) was great and got the deal I was looking for on a 2015 4Runner LTD. The aftermath however was WORST experience of my life in car buying....I live in MA and was told they would transfer plates and my registration within 7 days as says by MA law..well it is now 3 weeks later and I have just found out the plates were never transferred and I am driving illegally....I am currently waiting to get this resolved but I get the run-around everytime I call....gives me a bad taste about these guys....I have never had this happen before...I am in Sales and on the road every day and have lost a week of work now and still waiting at this point....UNREAL!!!

Ashley is one of the rudest customer service members I have had to deal with in quite some time. Theres really no need to be snotty every time she answers the phone. Lighten up and have some respect for the client. Someone may want to listen in on her calls to see how she really treats YOUR clients.

I had a very good experience at Toyota of Colchester. My sales rep was excellent and the load coordinator was excellent, too. The service department has been friendly and helpful. And finally, I LOVE my car - a Camry hybrid. I highly recommend this dealer.
