We got back from our vacation and realized we were in need of a new mattress, something that fits our active lifestyle and sleeping patterns. We drove by Mattress Firm and saw a sign for the purple mattress, and decided to check it out. Jaron was really kind and such a huge help in picking out what would work best to suit our wants/needs. We weren’t sure if we would walk out having purchased a new mattress, but Jaron made the process super easy and stress-free!!

Jaron was our sleep expert. He was very knowledgeable and taught my fiancé and I about our sleep preferences and why we have been experiencing the dreaded junk sleep. He helped us find the perfect pillows that cradle our necks and provide the perfect amount of support for our individual body types and build. We tried out inner spring beds, memory foam beds, hybrid beds and the purple beds. Jaron clearly explained the difference between the they types of materials in each bed, and the difference in support, movement isolation, pressure points and firmness. We decided on the Sealy Posturepedic and we never would have quested that would have been the bed for us. We are extremely glad we went to the store and tried all the beds out rather than trying to buy online because we really understood the decision and investment we were making in our sleep. I called ahead to check the in stock options for a twin memory foam mattress for my 9 year old. Hes been sleeping on a twin bunk bed mattress and its just horrible comfort wise. I was happy with the price quoted and came into the store only to find out that sale ended 2 days prior. They honored the price he gave me over the phone and we left with what we came for. Im sure he will sleep MUCH better tonight and I appreciate when someone stands by their word. A lot of places will give you a lower price to get you in the store and then its a hassle once you get there. Im glad I did not experience that here!

So I am moving into a studio apartment and decided to get myself a Full instead of the Queen I currently have. To save space and to get off this 33 years old mattress. It’s older than me. Gross. I called this location this morning and spoke to a very nice man named Doel. I went into the store a few hours later and was greeted by the same person. He listened to my needs and showed my multiple options in the store, working with my budget. I ended up with a great new mattress AND two cooling pillows. Doel really knows his mattresses and I would recommend paying him a visit if you’re in the market.

We bought a new mattress set today and while we haven’t received the bed we were very satisfied with the service and sales process. There was no pressure, no shady sales tactics and both the gentleman were courteous and professional. Based on that criteria it’s a well earned 5 stars from us.

Our salesman, Doel, was wonderful. He was patient and helped us find a great mattress in the price range we could afford. Well definitely be going back when were ready for the next one!

I tried to use my Visa/ atm card and told the salesman I wanted it charged on my Visa. Instead he processed it through on the ATM deleting $2,000 from checking. If the bed doesnt get delivered, I lose $2,000 and have no recourse .

They were great at both stores. We needed a mattress for our camper quick. We went to the Kannapolis store and he was so helpful and sent us to the Afton Ridge store which had exactly what we needed at a great price. Definitely will go back when we are ready to upgrade our house mattress.

The customer service at this Mattress Firm location was impeccable! Most Mattress Firm stores are like this, but this one was personal! I called and came in 30 mins before their COB, to purchase a box spring for my bed. The manager, Doel, worked so diligently with us, and kindly let me know that it was illegal to drive with the box spring on top of my small SUV without bike racks... as a 8-month pregnant lady, I was happy he told but was determined to get the box spring home that day. Long story short, Doel, helped us find a local truck rental, and stayed almost 2 hours past their closing time to make sure we were able to drop the box spring at my house safely! Doel was really amazing and personable! Please please only shop here for mattresses and their accessories. Aside from the extremely good customer service, the deals and discounts on actual quality mattresses are great! I had my mattress from here for 5 years, and it’s still in perfect condition.

Jack was very helpful and patient as he explained the differences between the different mattress options and very kind in taking the extra time to help me figure out what “modern day” mattress would fit with my antique bed.

Was welcomed immediately when I entered the establishment and was greeted by Doel who was incredibly polite and helpful who also abided by the face mask and constant sanitizing regulations. Was shown a variety of mattresses and all it’s amenities and decided upon one that same night. I didn’t even want to shop around anywhere else because the customer service wouldn’t have been anywhere close to the one I received there. I am not one to post reviews but I hope someone will read this and it will help them have a better experience.I have never experienced worse customer service than this location. Bought a soft clearance mattress of the “dream” mattress that we wanted through Phil who is the store manager. Whenever the mattress was delivered - it was firm. Somehow the labeling was messed up in their system. The solution given to us by Phil was to wait our 120 day trial for another one to be returned to switch the firm out with.Obviously sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress while holding hope someone else will return it was NOT something do-able for us. When we came back - he agreed to sell us a brand new one for $500 more than what was paid for the clearance one. While we did not want to pay more - it was an immediate solution and better than sleeping on the mattress we did not want.During this process - we got an adjustable base as well. Whenever that was delivered - there were no headboard brackets with the base (that we were told would come with). They gave us “extras” from the store that were the wrong size. Again we were told by Phil to contact the manufacturer to see why. Turns out - it did not come with the base. We had to pay over $100 to get them delivered to us to be able to attach the headboard.The icing on the cake with this whole process was that when we paid the extra $500 - we were told that it would be put on our card that had the 5 yrs 0% interest. We were charged interest on this $500 and when we called synchrony bank - we were told it had to be done by the store in the first 60 days. Turns out Phil didn’t take care of it like he said he did. We had to pay $350 out of pocket to make sure we didn’t accrue interest.Basically we’ve paid almost an extra $1000 along the way from the mistakes of the store manager. To say I will never ever buy another mattress from here is an understatement. Save yourself the time, heartache, extra money, phone calls, etc. and go somewhere else. I promise you will have a better experience.

It was an amazing experience. I enjoyed a great many beds. Each one had advantages and disadvantages. The salesman was very professional and the staff is diverse.Also, they required healthy strategies like wearing a mask and pillow coverings.

Steve was great! He helped us pick the perfect mattress with zero pressure. He was honest and respectful. After months of shopping for a new mattress, we were finally able to find the one for us. Jerry and I were in desperate need of a new mattress and box springs! Jerry was not sleeping well at night, and I wasnt doing much better. We decided to go to Mattress Firm at Afton Ridge. We met with Doel, who spent a couple of hours with us. He was very knowledgeable about the product and we eventually picked out a king size tempur-probreeze medium hybrid mattress. We bought on Saturday afternoon and our new bed will be delivered on Monday! It cant get any better than that! If you are looking for a new mattress, this is the place to go!

Very helpful staff helping find mattresses for our teenage kids. They swapped out mattresses on the floor so they could try each mattress to see what suited them the best. They even helped me carry the mattresses to my truck and offered tie down material if I needed it. Great buying experience at the Aton Ridge location!

He made me feel warm and welcomed and didnt shrug me off because of my age (Im 24 and that happens quite a bit unfortunately). I went to purchase a king size mattress for my new bed and wasn’t happy at first by the way I was greeted in the store. The associate was on his phone when I walked in and continued on his phone as if I wasn’t important. When I finally greeted me it was like I was interrupting him. No one else was in the store, so to me I should have been top priority. Now I understand the covid restriction are in place but the associate acted as if he didn’t want to be at work. If I had more time to shop somewhere else I would have but I was under a time crunch. I walked the whole store asking questions and the associate never moved from the desk to assist me. He clearly asl how much you want to spend and I’ll tell you which bed to get. To me you should sell me your top product. I will not not be returning to this location in Kannapolis.

Meh. We ordered a mattress was quoted two weeks, it took over a month. They didn’t charge us for the platform bed as a make good for the delivery debacle. We wound up not liking the mattress so we returned it. They refunded us the cost of the mattress and then charged us for the bed. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service.
