They rebuilt my transmission about 10 years ago while on vacation and bailed us out. Had a breakdown again and have my truck there. I know they will take care of us and get the job done.

Steve especially helped us a lot. We had previous issues with a different location and he did what he could to help us out. We had to take the car in for a watantee replacement transmission and they kept us informed and once it came in, they worked on the car quickly. We just picked it up today but so far so good. My son is a student at Coastal Carolina and his mom and I are nearly 4 hours away. When his transmission began to act up, we had no contacts down there so we held our breath and contacted Stephen at Aamco based solely on his Google reviews. He got the car in the same day and called with an estimate that evening. Frankly, he could have burned us and I half-expected him to do so, requiring me to have the car towed home for the repair.However, this is clearly not how they do business. The repair was minor, the work was fast and first rate, the price very reasonable and the service was superb. Dont get me wrong, I hope I never have to deal with them again, lol, but if we ever need auto service down there I wont hesitate to call them.

I was totally impressed with Aamco in Conway. The staff was great. I have an older jeep that had several issues, and they were able to help me resolve them all. This is truly a one stop shop. I wont need to look around anymore. They have it all.

I was so happy. My car drives like a new one. Not only that, with their easy financing, I was able to get 6 months, interest free. A complete slam dunk! The receptionist is very willing to help and sweet. The owner is very hands on and treats you like family. Not like most mechanic shops, there prices are good and dont try to up sell you on everything. Would highly recommend!!!

Brought my daughters car here for transmission problems, they wanted to charge 2500 for a used transmission. That was too high so they recommended a place in Lake city who sells used transmissions and said they test them before selling. We bought the transmission and AAMCO installed it for 1285. Picked the car up and it had no high gears and tried to tell us that 3200 rpm at 60 mph, was normal. Brought the car back and they said the transmission was no good and im pretty sure they had to know that before it left their shop. Before the place where we bought it would send another, AAMCO had to have it programmed which I was told had to be done before you drive it, so AAMCO drove it to the dealer knowing it was broke and it completely broke on the way there and had to be towed, they now want us to pay for the tow and to install the other transmission they want another 1285. Forgot to mention we had to pay before the work was done, never experienced that before. Would not recommend!!!

Excellent diagnostics and repair on my Ford Exployer. Other shops told me I needed a new transmission. Not so at Aamco, couple hundred dollar fix and down the road I go.

They where pretty pricey for a transmission fluid change only 20 bucks less the the DEALER.

I was in Myrtle Beach for a vacation and a brake line on my F150 blew. It went out on a Wednesday evening and I was leaving Saturday morning. I called Josh Thursday morning (he was the only one to answer the phone out of 5 shops I called) and he told me to drop it off so they could take a look. He called me with an estimate as promised on Thursday afternoon and my truck was repaired by Friday before close; Josh even waited around after closing for me to get there. Brake lines are difficult to provide estimates for, but I feel he did a good job and kept the price close to the estimate. They are in Conway and I recommend them to anyone in the same situation.

This place is the best!!!!!!!.saved me 400 dollars from the dealer. i have a 2012 dodge ram. had a transmission problem.i was going on a trip in 2 days. had it done for me in one day.the staff is great the manager is great. i just cant say enough. thank you for the great service. and also cleaned the inside of my truck. they went over and above just the repair.the technician that worked on my truck Albel. was great also.very friendly people. I highly Recomend this repair shop. I will send all my friends there. thank you again ammco for getting me back on the road.just moved here, and they made me feel like i was family.

I was on my honeymoon in Myrtle Beach when my transmission went out. AAMCO came and picked us up, found us a room, and fixed the transmission and put us back on the way home. We moved to North Carolina and it still works wonderfully.

I will always recommend this shop, I took my Cruze in yesterday morning for a leaking valve cover gasket..and I had an idea I had more leaks then I wouldve cared to admit but instead of just fixing the valve cover gasket and sending me on my way they notified me of other problems and gave me the option to fix it now or wait. At the end of it all I was a very pleased customer and I can honestly say this team is the only people I can trust to work on my baby because I know theyll take good care of me and my car. Thank yall again for everything! Oh! And they offer financing on bigger jobs! So if you have a car that the transmission is going and you dont have 500 to 3000 just laying around they can help.

Gave it one star only because I couldnt give it Zero stars. Took my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado for all new brake and fuel lines and new brakes all around. Over 3k later and the work performed was absolutely ridiculous. Had to fix it in less then 1,000 miles. Truck was broken into while it was there and it took months to get them to fix the damages and to keep fixing the work they did.

Took in for a leaking transmission. Busted starter while fixing. Wouldn’t fix or replace what they busted without me paying for new starter. Would not recommend.
