I was referred to MBT from a local gun store (Defender Firearms) and couldnt be happier. Tim (owner pictured below) is a highly skilled craftsman! I had inherited a rifle from my grandfather and not known much about it other than it was his hunting rifle he used in Germany after WWII (pictured). I wasnt sure what caliber it fired or even if it was in firing condition. I had taken it to MBT to drop off, but Tim was able to inspect and repair the rifle for me on the spot. He also was providing me a history lesson about the rifle and crafting process from that era. It was amazing to learn a great deal about the history of the rifle and it was an amazing experience. If i could give 6 stars I would. I brought a remington 510 Targetmaster in to have the receiver drilled and tapped. Not only did Mr Malcolm drill and tap my receiver perfectly, he went above and beyond the call of duty. He cleaned my firearm and waxed it at no additional charge. My receiver and barrel were not exactly square with one another. Mr Malcolm took the time to not only explain to me exactly what was going on, but also how we would correct it should a issue arise. You will not be disappointed with this man or his team. Ill gladly continue driving a hour and a half to bring my guns to him. He is a true professional and is a master of his craft. Not a parts changer but a GUNSMITH. He and his staff together made my day and earned my repeat business.

From the second I walked into this place I knew there were good people doing good work there. Tim Malcolm, the boss, is very intelligent and knowledgeable about many guns. He can cover any of your firearm needs.

Excellent work, excellent service! I took a muzzleloader barrel to Mr. Malcolm that belonged to my step dad. He passed away some years ago so the gun had sentimental value. I was afraid it was beyond repair. Not only was he able to fix and clean the gun, but he taught me a few things about cleaning and caring for the gun so it would last for generations to come.
