Worst company ever! Not only did they insinuate I was lying but then denied what they said when presented with the proof!! They sell outdated equipment that doesnt comply with current technology as their devices do not contain current tech specs. Items sold were either discontinued 20 years ago or were found in someones great great aunts basement. Save your money and your dignity and do not order from them! OVERSTOCK YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AT HAVING APPROVED A VENDOR SUCH AS THIS AND PROMOTING THEM. THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.

I contacted Blair Tech in June 2020 right when the pandemic was forcing schools to go to virtual learning to get my family set-up for that. I was a little worried having seen some negative reviews online, but Jeff helped me find exactly what I needed at a great price and even added a 1-year warranty to ease my concerns. It has been 14 months now of almost daily use and we continue to be very happy with our purchase and are ready to make upgrades!

Sold me a $750 brick last year, contacted them and they told me I should either take it to someone myself or they would allow me to return it. I figured it couldnt be catastrophic, so I paid it forward and took it to a friend... Bad hard drive. When I contacted them again, they ignored me because it was past their given time frame. I understand that I should have dealt with the matter more expediently, but the issue remains... They sold me a worthless machine. Its with geek squad now, and they dont have a compatible hard drive to see if that is the issue or if its the motherboard. Extremely dissatisfied customer.

How does a company screw up 100% of my orders ? I dont know but Blair Tech managed to do it. I ordered a refurbished Dell tower with an i5-4590 CPU. After spending hours migrating my data and apps from my other PC, I realized that the unit actually had an i5-4570 CPU. A slightly slower CPU but not the one I ordered and Blair didnt bother to notify me before shipping it so that I might cancel or change my order.I contacted them and they said that they could exchange it if I wanted. That meant undoing all the work I had done, reboxing it and waiting for the shipping delays to and from Kentucky. After some discussion, they agreed to a simple solution : they would send me a used, 7 year-old R7 250 graphics card that I could install to compensate for the weaker graphics performance of the i5-4570.I was a happy customer while I waited for a week for the card to arrive. Surprise, surprise, in the box was a 12 year-old dinosaur ATI Radeon HD 4550 graphics card. It was actually slower than the built-in card on the motherboard. Now Im wondering what kind of job they would do if I had to return the tower for warranty repairs ? I mean, they cant even ship 2 items correctly, how can they manage a more complicated task ? At least now I know that Ill be buying my next refurbished computer from any supplier not named Blair Technology Group.

This is the third refurbished Dell small form factor PC I have purchased from Blair as secondary desktop computers for myself and my family. I received them three days after placing my order and have been extremely pleased with my purchases.While older models, they have performed flawlessly and have been perfect cosmetically. I have found you get a whole lot more for your money by buying an older refurbished PC than a new low end PC.I have been a very satisfied customer and highly recommend refurbished computers from Blair.

THEY HAVE **21 BAD COMPLAINT ON THE BBB WEBSITE!** I WISH I WOULD HAVE SAW THIS BEFORE I PURCHASED-THEY SELL ON NEWWGG.COM AS/AKA REFURB NINJA, BEWARE!!!.....I am a small business owner. I purchased $2000.00 worth of computers from this company. 2 set of computers arrived in a malfunctioning condition & useable. The company has attempted to replace these 2 computers and they do so with 2 MORE MALFUNCTIONG COMUPTERS. I ORIGINALLY ORDERED THESE COMPUTED IN JUNE 2021, it is almost SEPTEMBER 2021, they have been paid in full and I am two computers short...still waiting, no response from the company. The only person in the sales department lost his temper with me, laughed in my face today, and could not find my $2000.00 order in their system, nor did he offer any solution or was able to get a rep to help me- he just keep hanging up. He also told me that they are too busy-leave a message. I am on hold now and the sales team has hung up on me multiple times, I have not been able to reach a customer service rep in 3 days, nor have I received a call back form this company. They only offer call back after 24 hours or more. I have sent many email with the same info asking for help with my large purchase and nothing, once again. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE HASSEL, DONT BY FROM THIS COMPANY ESPCIALLY IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS. We had an issue with receiving the wrong item and Austin in Customer Service got to the bottom of the issue very quickly. I am a tech challenged mom of a tech savvy recent college grad who wanted a new computer for gaming as his Christmas gift. I use a computer every day but dont know anything about the parts. Austin was calm and patient with me while I tried to explain what we had received. He couldnt have been any nicer and I highly recommend Blair Tech because of Austin and his professional, kind demeanor.

After reading reviews we were worried about customer service and problem resolution, but found Jeff to be very helpful with the selection of our desktop and answers to our questions. When we changed our minds about the model and asked to return, Blair Technology was very prompt in their response, sent a shipping label, and refunded our money as soon as they received the product back. Our experience was an example that you cant always trust review.

I purchased 4 refurbished desktop computers from Blair Technology Group and so far they are working great! They were packaged well and the delivery was prompt. One of the computers came with a regular DVD player and not a DVD-RW/ CD-RW as stated in the description of the computers. This was a bit upsetting especially because the tech at BTG who revised the equipment marked it as a DVD-RW/ CD-RW on the order sheet that was received, which indicates he didnt really review the equipment at all. Like I mentioned before, the computers are working well so far and I havent had any issues. Just make sure you review your order upon receipt.

Bullet points;Ordered an item and what arrived was a different model then depicted in photo.My questions about an exchange caused confusion leading to me being referred to the sales manager.He essentially called me a cheapskate before admitting he did not understand my question because he did not fully read my email.After customer service claims he would be reported, they referred me to the ecommerce manager.He answered my questions, arranged an exchange, and agreed to the transaction. Then he failed to complete the sale. For over a week he gave me the run-around...First I would like to mention that I was referred to this company by my father who purchased two computer towers as gifts, both of which had to be returned and exchanged before the acceptable product was kept.I tried to purchase a Lenovo ThinkPad, primarily interested in the touch screen and 360 rotatable keyboard depicted in the photo. I was unaware the description had to mention yoga as what arrived did not have a touchscreen or 360 rotatable keyboard as depicted in the photo. When I notified them they seemed sincere and arranged the return and asked if I wanted a refund or an exchange.I looked through their inventory and found another computer I was interested in. However while comparing devices I saw some descriptencies and seeing what has happened already I asked if there was a way to verify if the item I was interested in was actually what I wanted. Thats when I was referred to their sales manager.He first contacted me emailing me simply saying call him and providing his contact information. However since I was at work and did not get the email a couple hours later he sent another message with a BS rambling about how listings changed daily and prices are dynamic that in no way answered any of my questions. I responded trying to explain my question clearer to which he replied it seems I just want a brand new computer for the price of a refurbished one and hes sorry but thats just not gonna happen. Trying to remain calm I explained he was mistaken and tried once again to explain my question to which he replied He was sorry he didnt understand my question because he never fully read any of my emails, and that I needed to just contact support for such a question.I explained to him that it was the support staff that had referred me to him in the first place and he didnt even feel like reading my entire email. Then I told him that I now wanted his supervisors contact information. He responded without the contact information saying that I just needed to contact their support staff and request a refund.I contacted the support staff demanding to speak to customer service and that is when I was referred to the customer service manager. She assured me the sales manager would be reported and assured me they would do what they could to help me. She listened to my situation and then referred me to an e-commerce manager.This man confirmed that the devices title meant it had the features I desired. but as far as I am concerned did not confirm the item on the shelf was in fact that item. He did however arrange the exchange and we discussed the difference in price would have to be paid by me to which I agreed. Then he never completed the sale. When I inquired about it he said he could send me a PayPal invoice to which I told him I did not have a PayPal account. He then claimed he could refer me back to the sales manager to see if he could complete the transaction to which I finally just demanded a refund.This whole ordeal took over a month of back and forth emails and phone calls.

Computer discount depot would have been a great company just thought i would try this company an boy wrong computer wrong screens, so called windows 10 but the computer runs so slow. Was supposed to get a dell 790 they send me this big junk of a computer. No one answers an they direct you to chat.... What chat, link is broken. Not sure this is a professional company me an my company will not be referring this company to anyone. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE not worth the WASTED TIME AN MONEY. BETTER OFF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE i got this on walmart.com so just look at where its coming from. Will be doing a full refund should have went with my GUT.

I ordered a desk top through Walmart with Blair Technology Group.When I received the desktop,it worked for all of 35 days before the computer stopped working and is not working at all and I couldnt turn the computer on at all anymore. They took 2 weeks to send me a faulty product. Im in the process of trying to return it now. I am not interested with this company

Do NOT BUY!! My computer broke down after a month of use!! SCAMMERS! It barely worked out of the box. It was a school or library computer. It made a loud popping sound and died. SCAMMERS!! This company is the BEST! I bought a refurbished Dell PC. Its works great. Microsoft did an automatic update and killed my ssd card. Blair replaced it and and patiently answered all my questions. I have spoken to Amanda, Steven & Spencer. They all are very professional and helpful. I never bought a computer from here but sold many of them. I am not writing as a customer but as a former employee.Do not work here. Probably do not buy from here either.I applied to work as a tech here in 2018, and it was decided during my interview to change it to an interview for phone sales. I still accepted the position on the grounds that I was told I could move into doing something else later. Any time I tried to ask about openings on the dev team or as a technician (I am a computer programming major with several IT certifications, so was interested in getting foot in the door) I was either ignored or told we will set up a meeting and never talked to the person again.Customer service had the most hostile attitude toward customers I have ever seen anywhere I have worked.Was told day 1, 99% of the calls we [customer service/tech support] get are the customers fault.Numbers got blocked so upset customers could not continue to call. Emails probably got blocked too.The customer service manager had a mantra on her white board - We are not a charity. We dont negotiate with terrorists.Just to give you an idea of how derisively most people here see the people giving them money.I actually ended up on customer services bad side at least once for overstepping in my position to try to provide technical support to someone just trying to set his computer up.The owner of the company, president, accounting, HR, legal, and part of customer service are all made of family or friends of the family. If you dont know or make friends with them, good luck!!You will be asked to do things outside of your job description and what you agreed to do, and if you do not get it done without help, thats your fault.What made me start looking elsewhere was when a weekend position opened for computer repair in the store front. I asked who I could give my resume to for it. No one. Was told they already knew who I was and would consider it.Never got the position, and found that out not from the hiring manager for it, who never talked to me again there, but from someone who worked for him who also told me I was immediately disqualified because women bring too much drama to this department.I noticed soon after that that in production, almost everyone building and imaging computers was male. Everyone on the dev team and almost everyone in e-commerce was male. The department I applied for when I got the job was all male. And almost all of the people cleaning and boxing product after the technical work was done were female.Maybe that was a coincidence but it became hard to not see it as a toxic/sexist environment after that. I do not blame the owner, but I do blame many of the people he hired to manage for that.I was fired before I had the chance to quit in 2019. And to this day, I still do not know exactly why. There were no warnings, and I was never made aware that anyone took issue with my work. But it happened less than two weeks after the rejection for the weekend position, and the same month several other people from sales were let go and not told why.I know thats going to make this review seem less reliable and more like I am just a disgruntled ex-employee. I recommend looking at Indeed employee reviews. Youll see a theme. You will see this on Glassdoor too, but youll also see some positive ones there. All from around the same few day span. I suspect people working there were pressured to leave reviews, since that was a thing we were often asked about when I worked there.Well. Heres mine, at last. For any of you who Google this company before applying like I should have.

I have purchased at least five computers from Blair Technology Group (either from their Amazon store or direct). They have delivered five-star performance on every one of them. As a computer professional I appreciate three key factors with Blair Technology Group: 1) the refurbished machines arrive exactly as described, 2) there is no bloat-ware, no extra games, unwanted utilities, or space consuming junk, 3) the machines work out of the box, without exception. They ship fast, the machines arrive in great shape, and they work. I do not hesitate to recommend them and I will order from them again myself.

Horrible seller. Sent wrong power cord for laptop. Went 7 of trying to contact seller with no response. When I finally received a response I was told “I wasn’t the one who made the mistake”, “you are a nasty person” and hung up on when I said I was upset and wanted to be heard. The email response I received from the company offered no apology, but said that when I said I wanted to be heard, they couldn’t help a customer who wouldn’t let them. Of course I wanted to be heard. I went 7 days without an acknowledgement. The offer I was given was to return to product and wait 2 weeks for a refund. I bought the laptop for my daughter to go to school virtually. She cannot start school on time because of this. Again, was NEVER offered an apology.

I have purchased 3 systems through this company. I have bought so many PC peripherals and PCs (& phones/TVs) over the years, and have settled on what I need for most electronics. This company is so efficient, and offers great customization options. One PC had a SSD failure due to a Windows update. This group had a replacement SSD mailed to me within a few days, with an explanation as to why it occurred. Zero stress.I have gotten a live person each time I have called also, credible in the consideration of how few big box companies are giving very good customer service! I am pleased to find a reliable company for a good price.

I purchased the 7010 Dell. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it. I was very clean, looked like a new machine. I was surprised they included a USB Wi-Fi adapter even though it was not mentioned in the description. LibreOffice (a free and open-source office suite) was pre-installed. Ive only had it a couple days, but the setup was easy and it works great.

Monitor came cracked, frame was completely off of the screen. Said it came with Windows 10 it didn’t. Keyboard cut in and out. Didn’t come with a product key or product ID. If I could leave no stars I would. To top it off they offered me a 10 dollar refund because I couldn’t send back the monitor before receiving a new one first (which after all of the issues is the least they could have done).

I ordered a refurbished Dell Precision T5400 computer tower from an ad I saw on Facebook, that I have been very dissatisfied with since I first opened the package. It was clear to me since I first unpacked the computer after receiving it in the mail that there was some shipping damage to the casing of the the computer. Also after starting and setting up the computer several error messages and dowload updates from the manufacturer didnt work which further led me to believe there may have been some damage internally to the PC. I called to complain but no one answers and there is only an option to leave a message, which i have left several messages with no return call. I have also sent many emails with my complaints continuing to go unanswered or unaddressed. Please do NOT DO BUSINESS with Blair Technology Group as they have very poor customer service practices and send out improperly working PCs to customers!!!!

We ordered a computer/monitor/mouse/keyboard package from BTG and we are extremely upset and disappointed with it. First this company sells Refurbished computers. The computer could have passed as refurbished, but thats it. Everything else was total GARBAGE. The monitor was scratched and damaged in multiple ways, and it was NOT FROM SHIPPING. In addition the specs on the monitor did not match the advertisement. It was packaged in such a way that the damage could not have come from shipping. They put a damaged monitor in a box and sold it to us. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. The keyboard was USED, not refurbished. It was filthy dirty. The tower did not have a wireless internet card as advertised it had a USB wireless adapter. That is a big difference. They also sent us a Display port to HDMI adapter that was total garbage and was broken. So overall I would have to say that this company is TOTALLY UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL. - Dont waste your money.

Its the worst place to buy from i paid 400 dollars for a computer and they sent it and got no plug for monitor so i call them and they said they send a new one got it and still wrong plug and when call again they said a tech will email you and he did and i sent picture to him he said send me the whole back so i did now i have to return the monitor so they can send another so that will be like a month with no computer but paid 400 dollars for it and so today i call and ask to speak to a manger they rold me she call me back that was two hours ago and now when i call from my phone its busy and the block my nuber so i called bbb and a lawyer they are liars and would never buy from them again.

I have only had this for one year and two days and now the thing is going haywire... good job guys... good job.... left corner has the error v.02.09and guess what. Purchased hp tower on 2/19/2020 for $369. By June I was getting emminet hard drive crash warnings. By August it crashed. NOT VERY EMPRESSED. Also purchased extended warranty.Not very EMPRESSED with them either. Amazon should be more selective with whom they partner.

On August 20th 2019 I ordered a desktop from this company through Amazon. The computer worked great for the first month and a half. After that it had issues when turning it on, it would say press F1 to reboot. Sometimes it would work. Then it completely stopped working. Hard drive failed. I contacted the company through amazon and they said I could ship it back to them for repair. I wasn’t willing to have to pay for that, when I had one had the computer for two months. I requested a refund and used the return shipping label amazon sent. Thankful I didn’t have to pay for that. I’m only getting a partial refund and got charged a restocking fee. That’s ridiculous but I was done at that point.

I was so excited about receiving my computer, I met the delivery driver at the door. He was getting ready to walk off. Once I opened my box I was disappointed because pieces of my mouse was the first thing that fell out of the box the mouse was in. I was not going to worry about that, until I notice my monitor was coming apart also... like it was a rush job putting it together before shipping.

I knew Computers from Blair were refurbished but my experience with other companies that sell refurbished electronics has been excellent and I saved a lot of money...BUT NOT WITH BLAIR. I paid them $372.59 June 2, 2020 for a Windows 10 HP Elite 8300 with lots of RAM and 2 TB HD. It worked for couple weeks and then went completely out. They sent me a 10 step Reset procedure which I tried over and over with no help. After working with them to Fix it for a couple of weeks, I tried to get them to replace it or take it back but my 30 day warranty had barely run out while working with them to get it going and they refused to make it good. I took it to a reputable Computer Repair and they said the expensive 2 TB Harddrive was bad and showed me it had an April 2012 manufacturing date on it....over 8 years older than the computer. Pointing out other problems, they did not feel it was worth repairing. I have tried calling Blair over and over but they apparently have even blocked my phone number because a friend tried dialing the same numbers that continually rang busy for me but Blair answered to their phone but not mine. I definitely would not recommend doing business withBlair Technology.

I purchased over 50 of their reconditioned computers and been extremely impressed with their service. The order time is quick and complete, the delivery time is also very quick. The Setup is easier that installing a new operating system (windows), the tech support is better than any NEW Manufacturer, AND the customer service beats all the other suppliers hands down.If I need a replacement computer for ANY of my clients I look at Blair first. After being a good customer, actually promoting the company to friends, I dont think I was ever treated so poorly by customer service in my life. I had some questions about a few technical aspects regarding what I thought was a dying HD. I wanted to be certain, talk to a tech, find out if I had done everything I could to either save it or fix the OS, If all else failed I was ready to purchase another computer from this company, but the Agent was so rude, she actually hung up on me and then blocked my phone number. I am still in shock. Perhaps they are going out of businessm due to COVID and just dont care anymore? They certainly lost mine and I will never recommend them to anyone again. In fact I will tell friends and family looking for a computer to shop elsewhere..

So far so good....I knew I was buying a refurbish computer. I have had my own personal computer fix so many times. The cost was great better than buying a brand new computer. It came with everything mentioned Windows 10Pro, 64 bit and 16 memory plus 20 inch monitor (older model) USB Wireless Internet (some people miss read that it comes with the USB Wireless internet) a nice keyboard and mouse may I add it was clean and everything was package very well and secure. I like the hard modem it is not huge it is a nice size to hide or sit your monitor on top of it...it was easy to download additional software. It came with Libreoffice 6.1 that works just like Microsoft suites you can save your doc save as doc etc., the monitors DO NOT have cameras (quick fix to buy one). So far I am pleased...they do offer warranty so I suggest you at least add warranty of your choice. The only reason I gave it a 5 Star but honestly I guess I was looking for an update today Monitor it is in good shape just a 2011 model. The key to this website is to remember they sell REFURBISH so if you are looking for brand new this is not your site...OH I did read the reviews and I mentioned to the sells guy that people complained about the monitor been broken...he did mention if that happens they will ship out another one to you at No Charge....I come back in a couple months to let you know how its holding up.

The prices were great but, I am having a problem with the service department. It seems that the monitor I received was cracked I requested a new monitor which I was approved for over the phone. A return label was supposed to be forwarded to my address, this did not occur. I have tried to get in contact with the service department once again by phone and I was assured that the label would be sent, I Received the same results. So I emailed them to try to remedy my predicament. It has been over three months now with no reply. I wish they would honor their warranty service.

This company is extremely unprofessional! I had ordered a PC within a few weeks it’s stopped working. I sent it in to get a new one because I was still under warranty. They sent the new one out and it was busted up. I then took photos and requested a new one get sent for the 3 time.. they then blocked my number, will not respond to emails. I don’t understand why they won’t send out a new one. Who knows what is going to happen with my money I spent! They shouldn’t be able to operate if they can’t keep up. I wouldn’t give them any stars! So where is my PC or my money Blair????????

Will not send me a shipping label. Now My warranty is up and they are refusing to help. Never buying from here again.Had to spend almost 200 bucks for a computer that cost 200. For the price of 400 bucks I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere. Also it does ‘t clearly state that is a certified computer with old shell parts. Also getting your employees to rate 5 stars to keep your rating up isn’t cute.

I was so impressed with the HP desktop and monitor package that I bought for my in-laws, I decided to buy another computer for myself. Both devices shipped quickly, and in fact the one I ordered for myself was shipped on a Friday for Saturday delivery, at no cost to me for the shipping. In both orders, the equipment arrived in very good condition, ready to hook up and use. The Windows 10 Home activation was very simple using the code found on a sticker on the side of the PC. I wouldnt hesitate to buy additional equipment from this company, and in fact I probably will soon.

Beware of this place. I ordered a refurbished computer from these guys via staples.com, the keyboard didnt work at all, the mouse was broken, a monitor was warped, and the USB ports on the monitors didnt work. The rear cooling fan was gummed up with dust and pet hair. It was a surprisingly low quality presentation of a refurb overall. Because the keyboard was trash, I cant set up the computer to check if I can toggle the monitor USBs on or off. When I emailed them about it, they said youre SUPPOSE (sic) to plug the keyboard and mouse into the computer, thats why its not working, with absolutely no offer to replace the broken keyboard and mouse (although I was suppose to, and did indeed plug them into the computer, and they both were in fact very cheap, defective, and still didnt work). Seems like a sloppy operation. Definitely more trouble than its worth when it comes to these guys. Totally unprofessional.

RUN....this company is horrible. Company sent computer with faulty hard-drive that lasted about 2 weeks so all the local tech spend I incurred to set up the new computer was wasted. They wanted to have me replace the hard-drive and and when I asked if they had a policy to reimburse customers for costs incurred from their failed equipment or pay for the service to have this swap performed the customer service rep had a snarky reply. NEVER AGAIN!

I recently purchased two Lenovo computers from BTG. The computers were excellent - very fast and efficient. I have returned them but not due to anything BTG did or is. The problem is Windows 10, which is junk (worse than Vista). If these computers had been able to have Windows 7 in them, I would be enjoying my new computers! The people at Blair were very friendly and easy to work with.
