Seems like its nice and secure although a bit pricey but I guess thats the cost of security so if you value what your putting in storage a whole bunch I think this is a great place. I knkw it soynds crazy but I have known other places that have been broken i to and folks lost all their stuff. Somethings are golden I suppose. Peace im out.

I have rented here for over 7 years. When I first started I was paying $75, which was below average as I understand. It has gone up to over $143. Just now got a letter saying it was going up to $148. No improvements have been made to this facility. Go somewhere else.

The property manager Patricia was very polite and explain to us everything we needed to know. The price is perfect for the units . The units are not luxury looking but a good paint job would make a difference.I would recommend Covington Stor It.

Unprofessional! Setup afterhours for truck to pickup at 8am. Ubered up there and got there about 8:15 am. Unfortunately, when you book the truck under the option to pickup yourself they dont give full detatils. For one inside my email it told me to setup and then once i setup it said pickup your truck so i did. It then sent me to another screen from my email which wouldnt allow me to go further because it couldnt pickup my location. Never once did it say download the uhaul app which is what i eventually did after trying several different apps making sure my location services was on and working and it was. Even when i googled uhaul and used their location services IT WORKED but would not work from the email that they sent. Ive used uhaul before and never had to download app to do it. This is a stor it place so once i finally get code to get in i walk up to truck, make sure its my truck it then tells me to get my keys which is locked in the back of the truck. Its almost 9am by now. They give me password and i try it several different ways and it doesnt work. I call.for help and i get this nasty representative that tells me to wait until they open. Only problem is when i go to walk back out the gate i am locked in. I guess it wouldnt pickup a humans signal to open the gate, only a truck or car. I am still on the phone with the representative and she tells me someone should be there yet im sure they see me at the gate (camera)and no one comes to help. Mind you there is a truck there but no one comes to help. I had to call my brother and wake him up for him to come and let me out of the gate. What if i had ubered there at night? What if i didnt have anyone to come and let me out.? This was so Unprofessional to say the least. If its a storage facility their shouldve been way more instructions than what was given. From needing ro download the app, to a picture of exactly where and how the password to the lock should be placed. I googled the lock snd it still didnt work and it kept getting stuck and would hardly turn. Should you match the lines before or below the password or dead center of it. Googlr said dead center and spining a few times. It damn sure shouldve been instructions on how the hell to get out of the storage facility. This is ridiculous! I started having a panic attack in the midst of all of this not to mention it was hot as hell. Point blank more instructions should have been given because everyone is not familiar with storage places or the locks they used. I have never even seen a lock with letters on it before.

Spend to much on a unit

I would of given four stars but the end lot is really narrow and my movers had a hard time driving through to get to my unit, my movers had to back up and reverse a few times to get in and out of storage facility, they have steels posts in the ground and masked it really tight to make any turns. A plus for the friendly workers they are really sweet.

This place is over priced and dilapidated. It really needs some TLC. They do not take care of these properties or the storage closets.Horrible customer service and hidden fees thrown into your contract.You can definitely find somewhere better closeby and very reasonable compared to this junky place. The roof looks like its falling in and be careful even riding through the parking area, you are likely, VERY LIKELY to pick up a nail or screw In you tire! Steer clear of this place!Doesnt even deserve one star.**SMALL REVISION IN REGARD TO OWNER RESPONSE**I do not, did not, will not have an account here, however, my aunt, Carol Rainey did for several months. I moved her in there and moved her out.She had a very tiny 5×8 closet for a storage space and was charged over $80 a month, a deposit that was never returned to her when she moved from there and an additional MANDATORY fee for Insurance!! Which I am sure they charge just in case the unkept building surrounded by rotten overhangs, posts, eves, boards and roof that her storage closet was located in just happened to fall in or leak!We had problems with her code (a code they made her use, not one she chose herself) to get into the gate initially and was unable to get anyone on site to handle it because there is rarely if ever, anyone in the office! We called the main office which happens to be in another state, in order to try to get it straightened out which led us back to trying to catch someone at the office. Once it was resolved she was told she could choose her own code??? at that point and we were able to enter, which was the only good thing but of course it was hell making it happen!But I am serious!! Watch out, the parking lot was full of screws, roofing nails, and broken glass. I picked up 6 screws just around her tiny little door area where we unloaded her belongings, thank GOD we did not pick one up with the truck or trailer tires!🤬WE GOT HER OTTA THERE AND MOVED HER TO A VERY NICE PLACE WHERE SHE HAS A HUGE 10x10 WITH AN EASY ROLLUP DOOR, TWICE THE STORAGE SPACE FOR $20 LESS!!!, THE PARKING LOT IS CLEAN AND KEPT AND THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ON THE PROPERTY.THE NEW NICE PLACE WE MOVED TO DID NOT CHARGE HER ANY ADDITIONAL FEES FOR INSURANCE OR DEPOSIT!!! (Which I have NEVER heard of any storage place charging - Guess they saw a little old lady and thought hey we can take this one for more money, she wont be the wiser)COVINGTON STOR-IT....You know what your facility looks like, its terrible, and over priced and you apparently have scammers in the office whenever they choose to be in there! I believe some house keeping on staff and facility along with some remodel is in order if you are going to charge such bank breaking prices, at least make the customer feel good about leaving thier belongings there and maybe that you care a little once you have taken thier money! Especially an elderly person!

The young lady that helped me was very nice and polite well spoken and personable, as for the two units I saw they are old and run down 10×10 is $91 a month plus tax so $106 I found a place cheaper 10×15 $55 a month. I loved Lisa which is the only reason I was still considering storing there after seeing the units until I heard the price rundown and over priced not a good combination for me.

The unit I had had holes in the bottom of the door. Also there is at least 2 people sleeping in their cars. I dont feel safe going to my shed unless daytime bc of this.

The staff is so rude. I wouldnt recommend this place. I didnt, my mom did. Jennifer Norwood & I was there with her when the woman was rude to my mother. This was 2-3 yrs ago.

Easy rental process and competitive rates plus 24-hour access. My only complaint so far is the narrow unit door, unlike what Ive seen at many other locations.

Wow! The new owners have made a lot of nice changes to the place. The place is now fenced and has gates. The managers are friendly and prices are great.

Our paperwork was relatively straight-forward and we had a unit in just a half hour. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a spot, especially toward the start of May as Oxford students are looking to stow away for the summer. Facility seems secure and our unit was clean, just have to see if everything is still ok in the fall!

It could be in a better neighborhood

If I could give them a piece of a star I would but unfortunately thats not possible! I paid $114 for a hot raggedy hole in the wall (literally) the ceiling appeared to have had leakage at some point. It was covered with old cardboard and had a big hole in the ceiling! I told Lisa that I was concerned about rodents being able to get in through the hole. This was around their closing time. I called to cancel the next morning because of that and the fact that the unit was too small. Lisa Hardy told me that per company policy she could not refund my money and had the audacity to offer me to pay for another larger unit!!!! So she thinks that Im a d fool...I can read and I do read, and that is not stated any where on the contract ! I will be contacting the BBB about this matter and proceed to small claims court if necessary!!!! Very unprofessional!!!

This place is TINY and needs new doors. The wood around the door was rotten and the door would barely shut.

Ooooohhhhh where should I begin! RATS the size of a full grown cat!!!!!!! Destroyed a storage FULL of furniture, I SPECIFICALLY ASKED before paying “do you all have rodents?” A lady that sits behind the desk (Michelle Tiller) SPECIFICALLY stated “no, we do not have rodents” *with a fake smile and laugh*. My gut told me she was lying.... and she was. Units are overpriced; they’re old and run down and stored RIGHT BESIDE A DUMPSTER. I can’t believe this place is still in business. Oh, and one of the 5 star reviews on this thread is actually the lady that sits behind the desk (Michelle Tiller). Now why would a GREAT place of business need to review themselves? Lol. RUN FAR AWAY FFOM THIS PLACE!!! FILTHY and falling in.

They have rats the size of squirrels & lots of them. They chewed thorough my mattresses and left droppings everywhere. The insurance is BS to. I took a loss of things that were costly. The insurance wants price value on certain items damaged. Styles change on mattress sets every year. Dont use this storages.
