The locks on my autos door were not locking as a result of a door ajar light appearing on the odometer. It first started out intermittent, then went to permanent. I had gone to two other mechanics who said it was an electrical issue that would be hard to prove. Leavins Automotive had it diagnosed within 30 minutes of me leaving the car with them. What a breath of fresh air. The replacement part was ordered and I once again feel save driving my vehicle. Thank you Leavins

Took my 2015 Ford Escape in. They were thorough and fair. The negative Battery cable was so corroded you couldnt remove it from the terminal. They had to get a special cable from Ford. No OEMs exists. They were prompt, and fair, with the pricing. This occurred on 12/23 and they worked me in. Great People and GREAT SERVICE.

Needed some work done on my vehicle. Its a 1995 year model. They refused to work on it and I will quote we dont want to work on a 1995 model, theres too much that can go wrong. But then they wanted to charge $60-$70 for an oil change on my 2018 vehicle. So I guess they just want to work on newer things. Not much of a mechanic if they cant fix something that needs fixing. Make sure you have a nice car and lots of money if you want these unprofessional privileged people to work on your car. And yes, I am mad!!!

Im in Seaside, California and recently needed the alternator replaced on my vehicle. The part was still covered under the 25,000 mile/2 year limited lifetime warranty provided through Leavins. I did not have the invoice (it was in the glove compartment of my vehicle that was being serviced) to give the information to the shop that was doing the work. I called Leavins and Les not only emailed the original invoice, but guided me through the process to get the part covered under warranty. After doing this, Les called back the following day to ensure everything worked out. The auto shop here in California and I called the wrong number and Les helped us to figure that out as well. I did not expect this kind of assistance, especially after the fact when Leavins will gain nothing monetary out of this situation. I have yet to see a shop that goes above and beyond what is required of them as Leavins done. To say Im impressed is an understatement. I hope everybody seeking to use their shop reads this post and seriously considers doing business with them. When I return to Florida in a short time I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Leavins if they need servicing. Hats off to a fine establishment that seeks to ensure its customers are taken care of, regardless of they will receive benefit from their continued customer service. Thanks to everybody at Leavins!

I’ve used Leavin’s a few times. They do great work and are very honest. Mark and the staff won’t try to up sell any work you don’t need. They are in tune to your financial means and will work with you to ensure you don’t spend money you don’t have on things you can get by without. Other places I’ve been to used pressure to get you to commit to repairs. Not Leavin’s. Leavin’s keeps great records of all your repairs too.

I am a tourist from birmingham, alabama. my vehicle’s master cylinder went out. these people were so nice to me and they did all they could to help me out! the price was extremely well, especially after i said money wasn’t an issue, i just need to be back on the road.I would very much advise doing business with these people. i own a hardware store in tarrant, alabama. and we know what good small business looks like. and these people have mastered it. i’m very thankful to have found an amazing shop such a Leavins Auto!please do your business with these people if you have the chance.

My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Leavins Automotive for 20 years or more. I read some of the reviews posted here and was surprised to hear any negative comments. To be quite honest, they arent the cheapest shop in town, however, they use quality parts and stand behind their work 100%. I very recently had my 97 Ford E150 break down on me out of town and had no choice but to take it to another shop... The out of town shop got it running, but it ran rough. I figured, well my van is just getting old and its at the end of its life.. I drove it around for a few months and the very same issue returned, so of course I took it to Leavins. I asked them to do a full inspection and find everything thats wrong with it so I could decide whether or not to fix it or just junk the vehicle. They found that the other shop had used inferior parts, but it was still under warranty, so they helped with that process and saved me money without having to buy parts. Leavins fixed the issue and did full inspection and did not find anything else wrong with it. My old work van now runs better than it has in a long long time, and for less than a thousand bucks. It will be a sad day for me and my family, if the guys at Leavins ever retire! Thank you Les, Mark, and crew for your honesty and hard work!

Great group of guys!! One local automotive dealer told me I needed a new engine. I figured Id go here for a second opinion and long story short, they fix my car and save me thousands of dollars!! Highly recommend!!

I hate writing bad reviews but I need to share this. We brought out Jeep in for diagnostic work on a problem. They told it was a transfer case and not a universal joint as we suspected. After purchasing a $700 used part (they wanted $1200 for a new part) and paying a mechanic $300 labor (they wanted $700) we were informed that the transfer case was NOT broken. It was the universal joint after all !!??!! So now we get to purchase that part and pay for the labor. The really sad part of this story is that Leavins Automotive charged us $65 for diagnostics and the only thing they said was “SORRY” ?!??! Nothing was offered to compensate us for such a horrible experience.

I have relied on Leavins Automotive for several years for both my personal vehicles and the VA Vans we use to transport patients. I have always been 100% satisfied with their service. Les and Mark care about each and every customer do everything possible to provide great service.

My Wife and I Live in Spruce Pine, North Carolina and had to come to Crestview Unfortunately My son a 15 year Air Force Veteran stationed at Eglin and his wife lost their second child at birth so it was not a pleasant trip, but just as we got into Crestview our fuel pump went out so I googled local garages and found Leavins and gave them a call. in a few minutes they had a tow truck pick us up. my car was fixed at a reasonable price early the next morning, { the tow truck got us there after 4pm } what really impressed me Mark called after we were home to see if we had a safe trip. My son and Daughter-in-law own 3 cars and told him if he ever needs repair work Leavins is where I would take them and if I lived there thats the only place that would do all my service or repair work on the 4 vehicles I own. I have been dealing with Mark and Les for years. I have never had a problem with their workmanship or recommendations for service. Most work Ive had done is completed the same day. They are not a discount repair shop. Go to some chain repair shop with different mechanics everytime you come back if you want that. This is good honest work for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I took my car to Leavins for ac repair. They called me with a quote of $1500 to replace my compressor. I went to the GMC dealership for an additional quote, which was $900. I can’t believe it! A $600 price difference!! (How can THAT be possible?!) I can’t believe people pay this! They may very well do quality work, but so does the dealership... this is NOT professional. I really hate it because I’ve done business with them before... It was a little high the last time I had work done, but sheeeesh! I also hate it because I like dealing with small businesses. I hope you at least consider my review before you decide to deal with them. I do NOT enjoy writing bad reviews.... but a duck is a duck....

Took my vehicle to have the starter replaced found out that it was going to be $400 to have the starter replaced so when I call to find a price on the starter found out that they up the starter by a hundred bucks from where they had bought it now they fixed it it runs but then it came another problem and went dead on me after I drove it off and it was the fuel pump ask them how much they were going to charge to do the fuel pump and they said $700 so I called to get a price on a fuel pump and they were going to up the price on a fuel pump by $200 they also said if I bought the fuel pump myself and brought it in they would have to up my labor charge they also thought maybe my vehicle was out of gas on the first time then they fix the starter and so they use my gas can went and said they got me $5 worth the gas to put in my truck and my gas truck only holds 1 gallons and theres no way that they could even put $5 worth the gas in This is a highly overcharging establishment theyve never ever charge the right price theyre rude about it they do not care and they think that he will just pay it and be on your Merry way I wouldnt never ever advise taking any vehicle here. These people are price gouging and they are the worst establishment and Crestview even Pep Boys is bad but I would take it to Pep Boys Before I would take it here

Would not recommend. Informed me that the maintenance code on my vehicle was just a take it back to the dealership code. The issues resurfaced. If I could give zero stars I would have.

They did my clutch, sort of... They sent me home and a few days later it started making a clicking noise thats loud and very annoying. I took a look and found a nice socket still hanging off the bell housing (in a hurry?). Took it back and the said the noise was the pressure plate (oem from Toyota) and since I brought my own new parts in they wouldnt do it. I did my own research and found they hadnt adjusted the clutch pedal!! Now my throw out bearing is shot and I have to remove the transmission to replace a brand new oem bearing ... Oh yeah, that job cost me $850 in labor alone, plus a $50 bearing that I now have to buy again...

I called in to see how much an Oxygen Sensor would cost to install as I already purchased one from ORillys auto parts store in Crestview. I was quoted $179.00 to install this oxygen sensor which takes about 10 minutes to install. WOW!!!!!They are taking advantage of car owners at $179.00 Per Hour!!!!I will not pay that price and I would advise you to go to Main Street Automotive, just down the street where the rates are reasonable.

My car broke down while outside the city of Crestview, following a leas from a local i went to Leavins where I met Mark Bean, the general manager who had a local tow conpany bring the vehicle in. It took less than a day for Mark and his crew to diagnose and make all repairs including the ordering and installing of a fuel pump so that I was ready and on the road in minimal time. Just goes to show locals know best where to go. If Iever need work done again in that area I know where to go now too. Thank You.

Finally...found a dependable auto repair shop. LEAVINS AUTOMOTIVE started the job on schedule, found the problem in minutes, and met their repair timeline and price. A nation-wide shop installed incorrect parts and supposedly performed an alignment on my 3/4 Ton truck. No other nation-wide shops for my vehicles. If you are tired of overpriced shops upselling unnecessary parts and labor, try LEAVINS AUTOMOTIVE its local, great technicians, excellent staff and they strive to keep customers satisfied.

I have never had anything other than superior customer and car service from Leavins Automotive. I will certainly recommend this auto shop to anyone looking for great, reasonable, and professional auto service.

They mis-diagnosed my problem which was to have new brake calipers with new pads, when the problem wasnt the calipers but the Rotors (with new pads). Further, they tried to charge me excessively for the work they wanted to do . Further, they said they fixed a noise i was getting which i paid $150 for, and the noise was still existing the same as it was before. I have no confidence in them .
