I was having terrible problems with my 2011 Buick Lucerne and needed to have a new transmission installed. I randomly choice Adams automotive from a list of shops. My 1st contact was with the lady who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment. Her name is Samantha, and she is awesome. After setting the appointment I had to have the new transmission sent to them. I must of called a dozen times and she never made me feel as if I was a pest, just the opposite. She made me very comfortable and answered everything I asked of her with patience and understanding. After given me a price quote for the installation, I was delayed at lease 2 months be fore I was able to get back and set something else. She quoted and honored the original price she gave me. ( unlike the transmission place I bought it from that raised the price 300 dollars in that same time period) . I have my car back and I could not be happier with the results, everything is working perfectly. They started on installation the day after they received the transmission, which was a Tuesday, and totally finished and I picked up on Friday of that week. I Brought my Chevy Cruze in for a head gasket replacement, they said it would be a couple weeks before they can start we’re booked up. I thought that’s fine I understand. So a couple weeks go by I call and they haven’t started it no big deal. 7 months go by and they haven’t touched the car. I was told they keep putting other jobs Infront of my car. So I call about every other day after it had been 7 months because at this point I need my car back. They didn’t even fix the issue they gave me my car back with a huge oil leak parts broken and missing. Bolts not tightened or just missing. Unprofessional shop as well as sloppy work. I recommend going to nocturnal garage, Kelley’s auto and diesel repair, or Justin’s automotive. Do not waste your time with this place they don’t care about the quality of their work.

I usually avoid smaller shops for big work, but seeing their reviews I decided to give it a shot. They replaced the transmission in my 2014 Silverado, and I cant say enough to describe how well they did. They worked with my calls to schedule delivery of the new trans, pickup for the core, and even dealt with me taking the truck in the day they could work on it instead of having to get a rental while it was waiting to get done. They got it done fast, the tech replacing it even stayed late after installing it to get it flashed for my truck because they knew how badly I needed it. Hands down the BEST shop in the area and any time there is work I cant do myself I will absolutely be going back to them (with fewer phone calls due to me being nosey). 100% satisfied!

I brought my boosted 2000 civic Si in for a dyno tune, Johnny patiently and thoroughly went through everything absolutely perfect, he didn’t want me to leave until the car was up to his standards. We didn’t have any issues as he was getting a perfect map that the car liked. He performed drivability tests on the car because I’d like to drive it more than just on weekends. Very conservative tuner but also makes power. Highly recommend for anyone who has a turbo car and needs a tune, or all motor or anything you have, he can do it!! Much appreciated to him for taking his time and making my car drive like a brand new Honda.

Primarily an automotive service and repair shop. Does custom Dyno tuning, on Saturdays. Ive never had any automotive work done here...only two Dyno tuning sessions. Johnny tunes for max power, on a conservative and safe tune. Id recommend this place, to anyone.

Id like to start off with saying that this shop is excellent. I went to Adams Automotive for a clutch cable replacement and engine compression test. Upon working on my car, the mechanic, Johnny, informed me that my clutch master/slave cylinder had gone bad (older car). However, unlike most mechanics, who would immediately jump to a conclusion and charge me more money for a master/slave and labor, Johnny spent at least an hour of his own time, at his own expense, trying to pump my system and get clear clutch fluid in. He then demonstrated to me that the fluid turned black and the system could not be flushed because of bad cylinders. Johnny also took the initiative of calling at least three other automotive shops trying to get me the part that same night (he stayed past closing to try and get my car back to me that night). Never will you find a person of such high character and integrity as Johnny, who also does top notch, quality work. Overall, he is probably the most knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met. Not only did I leave with a perfectly functioning clutch, but I was also surprised that what the bill came out to. It was much lower than I expected! I recommend this shop to anyone within an hour of crestiview (I live in Navarre, it is worth the drive!)

I drove from Franklin KY with a civic that I had built, after swapping in a K24 K20 into, hoping to get it dyno tuned and reap the benefits of my efforts. I get there and Johnny Adams greets me with a warm welcome. I’m stoked! Long story short, after Johnny and his employees help diagnose why my car won’t engage Vtec to actually dyno tune my car, FOR 4 HOURS..... PATIENTLY might I add, they did all they could with the time they had and got it narrowed down to where I could get it fixed myself. Probably about 300$ worth of laybor and time. Didn’t charge me a thing! Folks, any other shop that offers dyno tuning would have ran it and as soon as it didn’t engage Vtec they would have send me on my way and told me to figure it out, fix it then come back. And if they would have diagnosed it, they certainly would have charged the time in labor. Even after a trip to Florida and not getting tuned, I can honestly say, Johnny and his awesome crew genuinely cared and helped me out in more ways than one. I’m going back in two weeks to get this build finished and looking forward to doing business with these cats. Thanks Johnny! See you soon

They were very professional. I was told by one shop that I had an oil leak, but they check told me there was no leak and showed me what to look for just in case. Great experience and I highly recommend them for anyone new to the area.

I have lived in Crestview for almost 30 years and know all of the mechanics in this town. Johnny & Mary at Adams Automotive are inexpensive and do a great job. They always have a waiting list but its worth the wait.

Though I did not end up taking my vehicle here, they were very honest with me, and told me that the repair I needed was more costly than it was worth. Honesty is not easy to find in the automotive repair world. This is a business you can trust! (They were right about my vehicle too.)

These are some awesome folks working here! Adams Automotive is well known locally for their expertise in Honda tuner cars. I have moved away from the area, but last week, my Honda CRX stopped working so I made a quick phone call to Adams Automotive. They were able to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone down to being an ECU problem. I mailed my ECU to them for diagnostic testing and they were able to confirm the problem not to be the expensive Hondata s300 chip inside it and recommended that I replace the ECU itself. They even did the leg work for me and found a replacement ECU! A week later I have my ECU back and my car is running again! Thank you so much and I will continue to recommend my buddies to your shop!

Okay, just a heads up, the location in the photo is the OLD location. Adam has moved into his own shop right down the road so dont be afraid to ask around.I am not a Florida native, I drove down to this area from ATL to look into purchasing a car. I needed an experience mechanic who could give me a thorough breakdown on what the car needed and if it had any engine problems. Adam and Disco spent an hour and gave me all the details I needed to know and for only $75 bucks. Thats cheaper than what it costs up here where I live. Reasonable guys who know what the hell theyre talking about without the Stealership fees. Thanks guys, I hope your business keeps growing!
