I’m so glad that I went with this store for my mattress purchase. Eric, as well as everyone else who helped me, was super knowledgeable and informative. I was very thankful for the trial period that they offered because initially, I had picked the wrong mattress for my sleep style (it was my own fault), so I ended up having to do an exchange. They made it very easy to set up the pick up/delivery all in one trip to make the switch, and they were super understanding and helpful about guiding me towards the correct mattress choice based on my feedback about the first. They’re really good about staying in your price range if you let them know your budget as well. So far the new mattress is great! Thanks for all of your help and patience throughout the purchase!

I bought a very expensive mattress to the tune of $2793.93. I was told I have 120 days to sleep on it and if I was not satisfied, I can return it for a refund or exchange it for a different mattress. I have slept on it for 6 weeks and I’m not happy with it. I stopped into a store to tell them and I was told to give it more time because it would take some time to break it in. I never thought that I would need to break in a mattress. It should be comfortable from the first day you sleep on it. The one at the store I tried was comfortable. I did give it more time but I’m still not satisfied so I called to return it. They encouraged me to exchange it for something else. I had tried different beds and this was the one I chose so I don’t want to waste my time doing it again. I will look elsewhere. Since I bought it in Illinois but was moving to North Carolina, it was shipped from North Carolina. I called a local store, explained my dissatisfaction and was told there is a 20% restocking fee and a $99 shipping fee. The salesman never told me that part. I had to go into the store to fill out paperwork. Now I’m told that the 20% and $99 are taxed. So I ended up losing $608 for returning a mattress I wasn’t happy with. Mattress Firm should have been upfront about all the fees before I made the purchase. Never again!

My wife and I went into Mattress Firm in Crystal Lake before the pandemic started. Eric was trying his best to accommodate our budget, but unfortunately we were unable to make it work. A few months later, once we had secured the amount needed to buy the mattress we were looking at, I called and talked to Eric and he honored the deal he had offered us when we originally met. After spending less than 20 minutes going over Tempurpedic, Purple, and Sealy. I was 100 % confident I wanted to return and make the purchase. Knowledgeable, not pushy and to the point. I chose Mattress Firm because of all the great reviews and I was not disappointed. On my visit, Kathy greeted me immediately and was extremely helpful in my decision making. She made the process an absolute delight and I highly recommend them for any and all mattress needs!

Kathy at Mattress Firm is really great! I ended up getting the wrong size king so we had to do an exchange. They were very accommodating helping me trade it out. The only thing I dont agree with is having to pay $149 again for a new mattress when the sizing wasnt my fault.

Mattress firm had very reasonable prices. The sales person at the Crystal Lake location was not friendly or helpful. I visited the Palatine location to buy a mattress for my mother and the sales person there was so helpful and personable. I will never go the Crystal Lake location again even though it’s closer to me home.

The only thing good about the company is that I got the mattress i wanted. The salesman was a snake. There were sales and he wouldnt show me. There were clearanced items he didnt show me. I was going to buy the mattress and told me he was giving me a sale when he was selling a returned mattress. Didnt even tell me i was buying a returned mattress until after the paperwork. I was suppose to get a rising platform with a purchase of $999 and he made it like he couldnt give it to me because I was getting the sale. I realized what he was doing afterwards walking out the store went back in changed it to a new mattress with the free platform. Then went online and was able to get it 100 dollars cheaper. Then he adjusted price. Very disappointed worse than a car salesman.Update: I had a manager call me and apologize for what had happened and offered me a $100 discount of the final price. I appreciate that

After internet shopping, I went into the store to see what they could offer. I misread their hours and got there at 11:30. They don’t open till 12:00 on Sunday, but Eric was gracious enough to let us in. He was able to order me exactly what I was looking for and saved me some money! Eric in the store was great and professional, but we ordered in June and still have not received our matress. It has been rescheduled twice now. Meanwhile we are sleeping on couch til it comes in & on the floor before we bought the couch. We just moved into an apartment and it would be great to get our matress!

Buying was easy. Reviewed first on the web, then visited the store. We checked out the two different choices we had identified at mattress firm’s online website. Made a choice, paid for it, then drive home with the mattress. Too soon to comment as to whether or not Sleepies’ $200 phone mattress is any good, but we think it is based on our examination of it in the show room prior to purchase. And if not, I am fully confident that the salesman who helped us make the choice will work with us until we’re satisfied. So we are not concerned about the purchase and look forward to using the mattress for many years to come.

I went there looking for a mattress for my son and ended getting two Queen set, one or him and one for my mom. Wayne is very cordial and not pushy at all. We had a very unprofessional experience at this store and told to leave for no apparent reason. I would not recommend anyone to shop at this place, the salesman was very short and rude along with the manager. We went in looking for a new mattress and frame. We were told that all the ones marked blue and green were in our comfort range. So we went around trying them out as anyone would when shopping around for a mattress. This seemed to disturb them and we were very rudely told to leave. This shows the lack of professionalism in this store. I see that this is not a one time occurrence as a previous review indicates the same thing happened. I would suggest that someone from corporate look into the poor customer service practices and do something about it. I will not recommend this store to anyone of my friends or family.

We went in to buy a bed and when we asked about the signs that said the bed frame and pillows are free, the salesman told us, you can leave. So we went down the street to American Mattress and got a better bed than we would have gotten and the salesman was really nice and helpful at American Mattress.

I received a quick answer when I called regarding a box spring that started squeaking 6 months after purchase. New box spring will be delivered later this week.
