Our experience at Eastern Shore Hyundai was five star. We had previously shopped there when the dealership was closed on a Sunday. On Saturday we met our sales representative Lucas. He was very knowledgeable about the type of car we wanted. There were 2 cars we were interested in and we were able to test drive one of them, the other was in the show room. Lucas spoke to us about our options and then we also met Joel, who was also very knowledgeable in all aspects of our purchase. We decided on our car. We returned on Monday and Rick had all of our paperwork ready and presented our options.Our buying experience with Eastern Shore Hyundai was seamless! Thank you!
I just recently bought a 2019 Hyundai Tucson with the excellent help of Woody. I found several cars on their website and got to test drive them all. Woody was so patient in helping me find what I was looking for and had no problem explaining the (millions) of car features to me. And a big thank you to Joel who helped get me the best deal possible. I’ve been so pleased with my experience, my mom is looking for a car here too!
My salesman Josh was friendly, professional, very accommodating. All the staff were engaging and helpful. My only complaint was the wait time to see Tony the finance man and complete the sale. I have excellent credit and had pre-qualified for the sale and scheduled an appointment, which led me to believe it would be a fairly quick process. I had test driven the vehicle and decided to buy within 45 minutes of arrival, and yet was still there 3 hours later. Would be great if the actual contracting and signing process could be more streamlined and time efficient. But I am very happy in general with Eastern Shore Hyundai and my previously leased Jeep Renegade !

My second service visit to this dealer, this time on a Saturday. Purpose was to install manufacturers recall item, an auxiliary canister kit. Was advised beforehand that the wait could be up to 2 hours. Actual time was just under an hour. Waiting room comfortable. Fresh brewed Coffee available with disposable cups that were individually sealed in clear plastic (good health practice). Lots of friendly folks around. Spoke to a few employees - service, techs, sales folks - without feeling any sales pressure; even had a nice chat with the number one person - the General Sales manager. Good trip.

Well……..was down in Gulf Shores for a short vacation for the 4th. Drove over to Eastern Shore Hyundai to “look” at some used cars. Woody greeted us at the door. Woody asked what our needs were and quickly jumped into action. Not pushy at all. We told him we were looking at the Santa Fe. Woody took up most of his day with us, showing us some used vehicles and then suggested a new one. We really didn’t think we could afford brand new at this time, but Woody showed us some options in our price range. Long story short, we bought a brand new Santa Fe and couldn’t be happier. Entire staff was great, but a special thank you to Woody. He is genuinely caring and very attentive to customer needs. Thank you Woody!
Service is always top-notch at Eastern Shore Hyundai, but I must commend Wendy for outstanding customer service this last visit. I was awaiting parts to repair my car before a road trip. When the parts arrived, the entire staff of mechanics was out with COVID. Wendy suggested a I book a tentative appointment, hoping the staff would be in better health. She worked me in at the first opportunity. Parts were installed, and I left on my trip with 100 percent confidence in my vehicle...and Wendy.
Only issue was the rec lowered my tire air pressure to 36psi, tires call for 38 but they ride and control better at hot pressure of 40. Other than that everything was fantastic as always. Thanks guys for great work as you always give in a timely manner.
My salesperson was Woody. He was very patient as looked and test drove several options. I came in looking for one thing and through conversation Woody helped me pick out the perfect vehicle. We discussed the pros and cons of both options. After a three day marathon I came to a decision. Through it all, he stayed patient and took every request to his upper management. In the end I am truly satisfied. Woody will definitely be the one Ill look for when its time to get another.

Super friendly Staff! Leah was quick to respond to my online inquiry, text back and forth to answer questions, and even had a vehicle waiting on me when I arrived that fit my specifications. When that one didn’t work she spent as much time as it took patiently looking through the lot with me for the perfect car. The sales team is spectacular! The amenities are fantastic! The only negative thing I could say is that waiting to go to finance takes a long time.

Found the car we wanted. They made it easy for us to bring it home.Oct 14 2021Took the Kona in for 6 mo check. Scheduling on line was easy. After arriving it was a quick in and out after an oil change and filter. And they told me how to program my door locks and then did it for me. Very efficient service department

I had an absolutely wonderful experience here. I stopped for an oil change while visiting family and was extremely pleased by their service and customer service. I wish it was close to my house because Id rather go here than the one close to where I live.
I originally gave this store a bad review. Upon further investigation I found that the dealership had been hit hard by COVID. Many of the employees were sick or in quarantine. The remaining employees were doing many tasks. Since finding out all of the facts I must apologize to the dealership for my impatience as I accept theirs for the miscommunication. They have made things right with me and I am grateful for that. All of it was an unfortunate convergence of circumstances. I would recommend this store. I would also ask everyone to get vaccinated. Go to Publix. They have the J&J one and done. I did.

I had an appointment, and they were ready for me. Promptly took the car back, and when it was done (less than 2 hrs), the technician himself came to explain the problem and what they did to resolve it. This is why I go here for any work.

Overall a good experience. I am not in favor of dealers charging more than MSRP given the amount of profits included in MSRP. I sold myself on this vehicle and, although the salesman was good and communicated well, there was little effort that ESH had to provide.
The dealership is very clean, warm and inviting. The entire service team is awesome. Buyer Beware!This is the most unprofessional dealership Ive ever dealt with! I wish I had read the poor reviews and saved myself a serious headache!I live in Pensacola and had found a car at Eastern Shore Hyundai online, I called about it and was very clear to my piss poor salesman that if the car had any defects, please just save me the time and aggravation and Ill just continue my search, no worries at all. I guess that was asking to much because when I arrived to test drive the car I immediately noticed a rock chip in the window! When I said something my sales guy said I didnt see it LOL! Give me a break, he saw it just like I did however, he said they would have it fixed which was put in writing and the sale moved forward.Once I left the dealership the communication from them stopped immediately. I waited patiently for a week for someone to contact me about the repair of my windshield and that day never came, so of course I had to reach out multiple times during my busy days before finally getting a repair company to come out and have a look. When the glass tech looked at the windshield he immediately told me that the windshield couldnt be fixed and would have to be replaced, he reported his findings back to Eastern Shore Hyundai who said they would send a second company out to have a look and when that was finally scheduled the second company agreed that the window couldnt be fixed and would need replaced. After texting my sales guy back about what the next step was, he told me its my understanding that we are not going to replace your window! All I could think at this point was are you kidding me?? Youre just going to leave my with a cracked windshield over $500! SMH! SHAME ON YOU EASTERN SHORE HYUNDAI!!I guess whats the most bothersome is the fact that while I was waiting for the finance department to finish my sale, I had about a 45 min conversation with the sales manager on companies that do business the right way, and the way my issue was handled was certainly NOT the right way. Its just hard to believe that Eastern Shore Hyundai would loose a great customer over $500! Thats all this would have cost them and now they have another one star Google review and I have nothing but bad stories to tell to all of my family and friends and why NOT to buy from this terrible dealership!Ive taken the time out of my busy day to write this review in hopes that if I can stop just one person from falling prey to Eastern Shore Hyundai and there lying ways then it was all worth it. If youre in fact reading this and thinking about buying from Eastern Shore Hyundai please heed my warning and BUYER BEWARE!!

Delivery drivers can’t find locations and threaten to take your stuff back if they can’t find you.
I would definitely recommend Eastern Shore Hyundai if your looking to purchase a new vehicle! We were looking to upgrade our Sonata to a SUV with 3rd row seats because we have 3 kids. Travis was our sales guy and he found us the perfect SUV for our family! We really werent sure if we wanted to buy another Hyundai because we had so many issues with our 2012 Sonata, but after talking with Travis and researching many reviews on the Sante Fe Limited Ultimate, we went ahead and decided to purchase it! I love my new Sante Fe and my kids love it too! The entire process was smooth from start to finish! Thank you Eastern Shore Hyundai for everything!

This has to be one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had in dealing with a car dealer. From the folks at the front door, to my sales rep Seab Campbell, his sales manager and the financial rep I could not have asked for a better experience and deal. You owe it to yourself to at least give these folks a look before you make a decision on a new vehicle.
Good review but not excellent.... because of mistakes in my paperwork when I purchased my car. First mistake : VIN number was wrong on the paperwork and my insurance company caught the mistake. The problem was corrected due to the fast and efficient action of my salesman, Travis, but should have never happened. I blame finance totally. That guy was too quick.Secondly, affidavit form with wrong dates on it that had to be corrected before car could be registered. I had to wait longer at the DMV than needed waiting on a correction through a fax.I blame the finance department for quickly rushing my paperwork. The guy was not attentive to details and couldnt wait to get me out of his office. I say SLOW DOWN..two mistakes too many.Karen Price

The dealership is great. The cars are very good. I have a big problem with the poor quality of the backup camera in my NEW 2021 Tucson. Dealership submitted a repair/replacement order to next level and it was refused. Calling customer service at the next level put me off until they could review the problem last December. No response from anyone. No recalls, etc. so I am assuming this is just a poor backup camera and I will have to deal with it. I personally feel this is a safety concern especially at dusk and at night. Before you buy a 2021 Tucson you might want to check/compare the backup camera with another model.

Called for a service appointment for three warning lights that came on. The lady that made my appointment was not friendly, in fact she was rude telling me “it’s only sensors” when i asked about continuing to drive until appointment date (two weeks) with warning lights on.
Been waiting on a motor swap for 4 months now. My service advisor Michelle seems to be the only one that understands that you are costing people massive amounts of money, then we have to turn around and pay t for working slowly on a vehicle...I understand things take time but we are talking 4 months..this entire fiasco has turned me from Hyundai in general..extremely disappointed...
They have always done a good job and they answer any questions I might have.
