Great place to shop and some of the nicest people you will ever meet in a rouses market.. very helpful..and laid back atmosphere makes it easier to find what you need. Even a place to sit and eat and watch TV with free coffee too

So we love Rouses, but this particular review is for Sarah in the Floral Department.I work at a local funeral home here in Daphne and we have been using Rouses for our casket sprays for a little while now. For one, the prices are great, and two Sarah is the best in the area! Her work and attention to detail is amazing. If we have families wanting something specific, she always delivers. Not only is her work great, but everything she does is in a fast and timely manner. I will also say this, there are a lot of great florists on the Eastern Shore, but Sarah has just been doing some incredible work for us.Great work from Sarah!

Lovely local fare available here. Peaceful & friendly place to shop & so close to the Church of the Highlands 😇 Cajun shrimp boil and Conecuh sausage, artisan baked dreamy lemon desserts, pecans, fresh olive bar. Well managed establishment.

Nice and clean as Rouses are that Ive been to! Great sales. Seafood & meat dept has great product and produce is fresh. Keep hoping for one between Daphne and Gulf Shores! Dont need another Publix!

It was my first time in this location, all I have to say is good things, it is very clean and organized. The staff is lovely as well! I used to go to Publix, a lot but this market it as it all! No other market as what this one has! Keep it up! ❤️🔥

I alternate between this location and the Spanish Fort location... I think I prefer Spanish Fort a little more than this location. No major complaints though. Rouses is the only place around that I will eat King Cake from during Mardi Gras season. Louisiana is in my blood.

Employee freedoms and personal safety are in danger by mask mandates. Masks are not only ineffective at stopping the spread of viruses masks trap bacteria causing people to become sick.

I’ve attempted to shop at this Rouse’s three times. Every single time I get to the part where I give the store money for what I want (CHECKOUT, kind of important), there is a extremely long line and only one cashier who moves at a snail’s pace. Every single time. There’s ZERO hustle. I see other Rouse’s employees walking around but no one jumps on a register or addresses the bottle-neck. There are no self checkout stations, which I’m beginning to like more and more (thank you Piggly Wiggly & Walmart), and apparently only one cashier at this location. The last two times, I’ve simply put my items down and walked out. That’s money they could have made with more efficient processes. I’d heard rave reviews about Rouse’s but apparently the Daphne store is a dud. One star, thumbs down, hard pass.

Selection is great and the prices are good. Best beer selection and great sales.

Words that come to mind when thinking of Rousses: Clean, Spacious and Delicious! Parking is never a problem and neither is the mind numbing experience of extreme overcrowding and ridiculously long check out lines...it is a pleasure to shop here! The wavering scents of many culinary treasures is the first enticement, as the deli is located right up front, they make delicious Sushi by the way...yum..the floors always shine, the shelves always brimming with flavorful items, and the produce dept. is a garden within itself...Love this store!

Awful service in the seafood department. Shopping at 6:30 in the evening, I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the seafood counter and then waited another 10 minutes for someone to ring up the two fish fillets that I wanted. The worst customer service ever. I’ll choose another grocery store next time and won’t waste my time here, horrible service.

Love this store!!!! First time at the Daphne location since moving to Fairhope. Everything was super clean and the produce department was excellent! The meat department was also very very well stocked with a lot of great varieties! Very happy to know its right up the road! My new happy place.

I wish this was my neighborhood store. Very well appointed. Really liked the beer and wine selection including several local and regional craft beers. I was impressed by the prepared food selections, salad and hot food buffets. I enjoyed looking thru the more regional food items, such as sausages for example, several that Id never seen before.

Manager in the seafood department. Needs to go get trained on customer service. I just had one question and she blew the heck up on me. I work in retail too. If you cant balance stress and customer service. Then retail may not be for you. I am never going to Daphne Rouses again.

They have a good selection of gluten free foods, especially donuts. However there prices in this store seem to be a bit higher than what we are used to paying for things. I gave a 4 instead of a 3 because my daughter is just moving to the area and have to get used to pricing here.

We love shopping here for specialty and regional foods. Its great for hot foods, too. Clean store, friendly staff, and pretty good prices. Lots of beer choices, quality meats and produce, and its always a pleasure shopping in Rouses.

Rouses Markets are new to me since I am not from this area and had never heard of them before, but they are very nice. I really like their bakery and the store is super clean!

Rouses Market is amazing. The staff is very willing to help you out. They have so many different items to choose from. They always seem to have the shelves stocked. It such a better option over Walmart, which never has anything on the shelves. I would strongly recommend you stopping to shop here like if you never have.

Picked up some fresh coffee beans, coarsely grounding them to the specifications of my French press. Absolutely delicious for grocery store coffee beans and a great price point per pound.

I love Rouses but slightly disappointed with their 80/20 hamburger meat. It was fatty... not what I would expect...

I waited for a test of freshly cooked chicken legs. Took fishing today. They were not cooked all the way. Disappointed.Paid $7

I like their fresh Gulf seafood. Im from Mobile and miss getting fresh seafood from the Gulf. Some of the seafood comes from countries far away. Staff was great!

This is the 2nd time I have been in and purchased items that are advertised & posted on special & when I get home and review my receipt the regular price is charged. I dont have this problem @ Publix. I dont pay attention as the cashier rings up each item since I am unloading and then bagging my items so I dont notice until I get home & review my receipt. I like the store and may go back but will watch the check-out process more closely. I dont see why this process isnt automated so the computer scans the correct price like in other grocery stores. This happened yesterday with 4 items purchased b/c they were posted as a special and then I was charged regular price.

ROuses is great! Its a good grocery store and has lots of things to choose from.

I like to hit Rouses when I can. Was in Daphne, which is much bigger layout than Gulf Shores. Same variety of items that the Big W store doesnt carry, thats why I frequent there. Plus the wall of candy by the pound, I love the little multicolored licorice candies, so good and fresh!!

Theyve opened one of my favorite places in Daphne and it is amazing. So many great premade items to take home and cook or raw materials to make yourself. I just wish they were closer to home but I dont have to drive all the way to New Orleans at least!

Rouses has everything and then some! The staff is friendly and helpful. I take out of town visitors there and they are amazed at how nice the store is

This place used to be a Winn Dixie and I was so disappointed when I found out they were closing. Did this mean I was going to choose between the affordable nightmare that is Wal-Mart and Publix; where shopping is a pleasure, but an expensive one? Nay! My grief was quickly replaced with unimaginable joy when I found out a Rouses would be taking its place. I was also very happy to see that they kept members of Winn Dixies staff. It was an emotional day for me.Rouses is the bees pajamas.

Rouses is my favorite for sure, however, the employees seem mad at something every time I walk in the door. I blame this on management. If someone would just step back and watch the employees you would see what the general public does. Although nice and willing to help they need some excitement for sure. The one blond guy that does the stocking is a truly nice guy and super sweet. I know that I am not the only person to experience this. I will continue shopping there but REALLY want to see the employees happy! The blonde lady at customer service is a bit annoying and too full of herself. The only way you can prove me wrong is to change something, the employees deserve better! See ya soon!

Came to shop and had the worse experience ever. Their deli is beautiful but the people in there not so much. For the young girl with red and black hair, the one with no teeth probably from the years of drug use. (Methamphetamine.)Was obviously coming down she was so rude with absolutely no help to what I needed. She ruined my whole experience there last night.

My wife and I enjoy shopping here for so many good reasons. Today was no different, only better. We were served at the deli counter by Shermanita and Candice, both of whom went way above the minimum in helping us. We are grateful to all of the polite and professional employees at this store.

Terribly run by the failures from winn dixie. They should fire all of the failed winn dixie employees and start fresh doing the Rouses way.or this store will be just another winn dixie. With very few exceptions, best supermarket in area. Way better than Publix and except for The Pigs seafood and Winn Dixies prices, better there as well.

Love shopping here! I come here for great deals but also for the sushi and poke bowls! Crazy, I know. But the sushi staff is so friendly and they make the best food. Youve got to try it.

This is a great grocery store. It carries so many of the items that you can’t find anywhere else. The prices are higher compared to Walmart or Winn Dixie, but the variety of product makes it well worth it.

A lovely store, with a nice selection of Cajun and Creole foods direct from Acadiana and New Orleans. They have a good selection of the basics, too, although a lot pricier than some of the competition. Excellent cakes and pies in the bakery, and a good selection of hot and cold foods that you can take home or in the little café up front. Huge wine selection, too. Overall, a very nice place to shop.

First time shopper here and I absolutely loved it. They have great deals and even double the deals on Wednesdays. I love their hot bar and bakery. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I recommend more sample tables though.

Its a nice store with an ample selection. The sausage hot dinner was tasty, but the store gumbo was not so delectable. A very personable man went into the back scouring for exact product I needed. When he found it, he searched store to give it to me. Thank you.
